High-order, closely-spaced modal parameter estimation using wavelet analysis

  • This study examines the wavelet transform for output-only system identification of ambient excited engineering structures with emphasis on its utilization for modal parameter estimation of high-order and closely-spaced modes. Sophisticated time-frequency resolution analysis has been carried out by employing the modified complex Morlet wavelet function for better adaption and flexibility of the time-frequency resolution to extract two closely-spaced frequencies. Furthermore, bandwidth refinement techniques such as a bandwidth resolution adaptation, a broadband filtering technique and a narrowband filtering one have been proposed in the study for the special treatments of high-order and closely-spaced modal parameter estimation. Ambient responses of a 5-story steel frame building have been used in the numerical example, using the proposed bandwidth refinement techniques, for estimating the modal parameters of the high-order and closely-spaced modes. The first five natural frequencies and damping ratios of the structure have been estimated; furthermore, the comparison among the various proposed bandwidth refinement techniques has also been examined.

ECAP 가공한 알루미늄합금의 결정립 미세화에 대한 비파괴평가 (Nondestructive Evaluation for Grain Refinement of Aluminum Alloy of Equal-Channel Angular Pressing)

  • 최근 구속전단가공(Equal-Channel Angular Pressing)이라는 가공법을 이용하여 결정립을 미세화시키는 유효한 수단이 널리 이용되어지고 있다. 이러한 구속전단가공법을 이용해서 알루미늄합금의 결정립을 submicrometer 수준으로 미세화가 가능하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 인장시험, 경도시험, 미세조직 관찰, 초음파탐상 및 음향방출 시험을 통해 알루미늄합금의 결정립 미세화 정도를 평가하였다. ECAP 가공 후 결정립 미세화에 의하여 강도 및 경도가 확실히 증가하였다. 초음파 탐상으로부터 초음파 음속은 ECAP 가공 후의 음속이 빠르게 나타났으며, 시간 -주파수 분석에서는 ECAF 가공 전의 시험편이 고주파수의 감쇠가 컸다. 그리고 ECAP 가공 후의 시험편에서 음향방출의 높은 중심주파수 대역이 나타났다. 본 논문은 비파괴적인 기법을 사용하여 결정립 미세화를 판단하는데 기초적인 자료로서의 활용이 기대된다.

주파수와 감도를 고려한 스티어링 시스템 설계 프로세스 연구 (A Study on the Design Process of Steering System considering Frequency and Sensitivity)

  • This paper describes the development process of steering system for reduce idle vibration through the data level of frequency and sensitivity. High stiffness and light weight vehicle is a major target in the refinement of passenger cars to meet customers' contradictable requirements between NVH performance and fuel economy. The target frequency of the steering system is set by benchmarking of a competitive vehicle and the vibration mode map is used to separate steering column modes from resonance of body structure and engine idle rpm. This paper descirbes the analysis approach process for high stiffness of steering system and the design guideline is suggested about steering column and support system by using mother car at initial design stage. We used a patent map in order to analyze accurately a technical trend and suggested the design process using dynamic damper of steering system considering sensitivity. And we established techniques of analysis on steering system and evaluated the level of accuracy of analysis through correlating the test and analysis results. It makes possible to design the good NVH performance vehicle at initial design stage and save vehicles to be used in tests. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.

  • 고주파용 마이크로스트립 선로의 모델링에 필수적인 인덕턴스의 빠른 추출을 위해서 고속화 알고리즘(fast mutilpole method)과 결합된 적응 PEEC 격자분할법(adaptive PEEC grid refinement algorithm)을 제안하였다. 격자의 세분화는 마이크로스트립 선로의 구조와 사용주파수에 따른 전류분포에 적합하도록 이루어졌는데, 이 적응 격자는 주로 전류분포가 높은 영역에서 더 세분화된다. 이 기법을 이용하여 마이크로스트립 선로의 인덕턴스를 구하였고, 계산결과는 빠르게 수렴하여 계산시간과 격자 수를 줄이는데 효율적임을 보였다.

중간언어 문맥벡터의 정제를 통한 이중언어 사전 구축의 성능개선 (Enhancing Performance of Bilingual Lexicon Extraction through Refinement of Pivot-Context Vectors)

  • 본 논문은 중간언어 기반 이중언어 사전 구축 방법에서 문맥벡터의 정제 방법을 제안한다. 중간언어 기반 이중언어 사전 구축 방법은 두 언어 간의 사전이나 병렬말뭉치 등 언어 자원이 부족한 언어쌍에 매우 효과적인 방법이다. 본 논문은 두 가지 정제 방법을 통해서 성능을 개선한다. 첫 번째 방법은 양방향 번역확률을 통하여 문맥벡터를 정제하였고 두 번째 방법은 품사 정보를 이용하여 문맥벡터를 정제하였다. 본 논문은 두 개의 서로 다른 언어 쌍으로 한국어-스페인어 그리고 한국어-프랑스어 양방향에 대해서 각각 이중언어 사전을 추출하는 실험을 하였다. 높은 빈도수를 가지는 어휘에 대한 번역 정확도는 최상위에서 최소 48.5%를, 상위 20에서 최대 88.5%의 정확도를 얻었고, 낮은 빈도수를 가지는 어휘에 대한 번역 정확도는 최상위에서 최소 26.5%를, 상위 20에서 최대 66.5%의 성능을 보였다.

질감 특징을 고려한 영상 흐려짐 검출 방법 (Texture-aware Blur Detection)

  • 영상 촬영 시 객체의 움직임, 탈초점(Out-of-focus) 등의 이유로 영상 흐려짐 현상이 빈번하게 발생하며, 이 과정에서 선명한 영역의 고주파 성분이 급격하게 감소하게 된다. 이러한 성질을 바탕으로, 본 논문에서는 질감 특징 표현자를 사용하여 별도의 주파수 변환 과정 없이 고주파 성분을 추정하고, 이를 바탕으로 흐려진 영역을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 학습 기반 질감 표현자와 유역(Watershed) 기반 질감 표현자를 함께 이용하여 다양한 환경에서도 흐려진 영역을 검출할 수 있다. 또한, 흐려짐을 검출하는 최소 단위를 화소 단위에서 영역 단위로 확장하여 처리 속도를 향상시키고, 영상 보정 기법을 이용하여 흐려짐 검출 성능을 개선하였다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 방법이 기존의 흐려짐 검출 방법 대비 성능이 향상되었음을 보여준다.

차량 급가속시 운전성 개선을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study of the Improvement of Driveability in Vehicle Acceleration Mode)

  • Modern vehicles require a high degree of refinement including good driveability. Vehicle driveability, which becomes a key decisive factor f3r marketability, is affected by many parameters such as engine control and the dynamic characteristics in drive lines. Therefore engine and drive train characteristics should be considered to achieve a well balanced vehicle response simultaneously. This paper describes experimental procedures which have been developed to measure engine torque and investigate shuffle characteristics. To analyze the vehicle dynamic behavior, fractional torques and inertia mass moment of engine, and drive train were measured. Shuffle characteristics during tip-in condition were investigated in an experimental vehicle at 2nd and 3rd gear stages. It was found that the shuffle characteristics were caused by sudden changes of engine torque and have a different vibration frequency with gear stage variation. Inertia mass moment of engine including flywheel rotation showed a key factor for the shuffle characteristics.

빅데이터 분석을 이용한 디지털 패션 테크에 대한 인식 연구 (Perceptions and Trends of Digital Fashion Technology - A Big Data Analysis -)

  • This study aimed to reveal the perceptions and trends of digital fashion technology through an informational approach. A big data analysis was conducted after collecting the text shown in a web environment from April 2019 to April 2021. Key words were derived through text mining analysis and network analysis, and the structure of perception of digital fashion technology was identified. Using textoms, we collected 8144 texts after data refinement, conducted a frequency of emergence and central component analysis, and visualized the results with word cloud and N-gram. The frequency of appearance also generated matrices with the top 70 words, and a structural equivalent analysis was performed. The results were presented with network visualizations and dendrograms. Fashion, digital, and technology were the most frequently mentioned topics, and the frequencies of platform, digital transformation, and start-ups were also high. Through clustering, four clusters of marketing were formed using fashion, digital technology, startups, and augmented reality/virtual reality technology. Future research on startups and smart factories with technologies based on stable platforms is needed. The results of this study contribute to increasing the fashion industry's knowledge on digital fashion technology and can be used as a foundational study for the development of research on related topics.
