  • This paper presents a low power scheduling and allocation algorithm for multiple supply voltage. The proposed supply voltage scheduling algorithm determines the control step to execute a possible the operation experimentally using another supply voltage level. Also, the switching activity using component library. and the supply voltage allocation method uses the graph coloring technique for low power, the proposed algorithm Proves the effect through various high level benchmark examples to adopt a multiple supply voltage scheduling algorithm for low power.

  • This paper presents the trend of low voltage and high current technology for DC-DC converters. It can be said that the output voltage of the on-board power supply has been rapidly moving forward a low voltage in proportion to the minuteness of the semiconductors. As for as its speed is concerned, the change of the market situation seems to be faster than that of R&D for the low voltage and high current products put out by power supply manufacturers. Here, the present situation and the trend of non-isolated type step-down DC-DC converter and isolated type DC-DC converter called "Brick" will be taken up mainly from the fellowing point of view. -low voltage and high current keeping up with the current demand for the latest telecommunication networks and broadband. -build-up of the total solution for dispersion system power supply.   • UV lamp systems have been used for cleaning of display pannels of TFT LCD or Plasma Display Pannel (PDP). However, the needs for high efficient cleaning and low cost made high voltage plasma cleaning techniques be developed and improved. In this paper, 3kW high voltage plasma power supply system was developed for LCD cleaning. The 3-phase input voltage is rectified and then inverter system is used to make a high frequency pulse train, which is rectified after passing through a high-power transformer. Finally, bi-directional high voltage pulse switching circuits are used to generate the high voltage plasma.

  • This paper proposes an novel dc power supply using modified multilevel ac/dc converter. The output voltage of the power supply can be disconnected from and reapplied to the load rapidly. Therefore the power supply is suitable for a load having frequent short circuit such as ion source. The proposed scheme improves the performance, efficiency, and reliability and reduces the cost of the conventional power supply system for an ion beam acceleration.

  • The gyroscope is the sensor for detecting the rotation in inertial reference frame and constitute the navigation system together an accelerometer. As the inertial reference equipment for attitude determination and control in the satellite, the mechanical gyroscope has been used but it bring the disturbance for mass unbalance so the disturbance give a bad influence to the observation satellite mission because the mechanical gyroscope has the rotation parts. During the launch. The mechanical gyroscope is weak in vibration, shock and has the defect of narrow operating temperature range so it need the special design in integration. Recently the low orbit observation satellite for seeking the high pointing accuracy of image camera payload accept the FOG(Fiber Optic Gyro) or RLG(Ring Laser Gyro) for the attitude determination and control. The Ring Laser Gyro makes use of the Sanac effect within a resonant ring cavity of a He-Ne laser and has more accuracy than the other gyros. It need the 1000V DC to create the He-Ne plasma in discharge tube. In this paper, the design process of the High Voltage Power Supply for RLG(Ring Laser Gyroscope) is described. The specification for High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) is proposed. Also, The analysis of flyback converter topology is explained. The Design for the HVPS is composed of the inverter circuit, feedback control circuit, high frequency switching transformer design and voltage doubler circuit.

  • This paper presents the design of zero current switching ZCS pulse frequency modulation type DC-DC converter for magnetron power supply. A magnetron serving as the microwave source in a microwave oven is driven by a switch mode power supply (SMPS). SMPSs have the advantages of improved efficiency, reduced size and weight, regulation and the ability to operate directly from the converter DC bus. The demands of the load system and the design of the power supply required to produce constant power at 4[kV]. A magnetron power supply requires the ability to limit the load current under short circuit conditions. The current source series resonant converter is a circuit configuration which can achieve this. The main features of the proposed converter are an inherent protection against a short circuit at the output, a high voltage gain and zero current switching over a large range of output power. These characteristics make it a viable choice for the implementation of a high voltage magnetron power supply.

  • A novel polarity inversion dc-dc power conversion circuit that features the high input to output step-up voltage conversion ratio characteristics is presented for high voltage DC power supply applications. The proposed circuit features the reduced voltage stresses of the components compared to those of the conventional ones. The operational principles of the proposed circuit are analyzed and comparative features are presented. The simulation results and experimental results are presented to verify the validity of the proposed circuit.

  • The Neutral Beam Injection(NBI) generates ultra-high temperature energy in the tokamak of nuclear fusion. The NBI consists of filament power supply acceleration and deceleration power supply and arc power supply(APS). The APS has characteristics of low voltage and high current. APS generate arc through constant output of voltage and current. So this paper proposed suitable buck converter for low voltage and high current. The case of proposed buck converter used parallel switch because it can increase capacity and decrease conduction loss. When an arc is generated, the NBI chamber occur high voltage. And it will break output capacitor of buck converter. Therefore the output capacitor was removed in the proposed converter. Thus buck converter with constant output is the most important design of the output inductor. In this paper, designed APS verified operation of system and stability through simulation and prototype.

  • Electrical Power supply System conditions of korea high speed train consists of main transformer, four AC-DC PWM converter of Auxiliary Block, Battery Charger in Power Car and Trailer Car, Trailer Inverter, Auxiliary inverter. Main transformer, at nominal voltage of 25kv supplied to secondary winding nominal output Voltage 383Vac, The Auxiliary block consists of AC-DC converters for generating 670VDC power, Auxiliary inverters for ventilation and air compressor, Trailer car inverter provide three phase power supplies at 440Vac for air conditioning and heating. The Battery charger Trailer and Power car supplies 72VDC all necessary equipment to energize the trainset equipment and suppy essential control. This Paper introduces the combined test results of the power supply system for korea high speed train. The main purpose of this combined test is to verify the performance of the power supply system that is designed to operate up to full load test.

  • With the increasing demands for clean environment, development of air cleaning systems has been received increasing attention. One of the key technologies in the electrostatic precipitator(EP) is high voltage pulsed power supply, which affects the performance of the overall system. In this study, a high voltage microsecond pulse power supply for the pilot EP is developed. The power supply has a dc source and a pulsed one. The ratings of the dc and the pulse source are 60kV and 70kV respectively. The width of pulse voltage is 140us and the maximum pulse repetition frequency is 200Hz.
