Self-Organization Fuzzy Control of Dual-Arm Robot (Dual-Arm로봇의 자기구성 퍼지제어)

  • In this paper, it is presented a new technique to the design and real-time implementation of fuzzy control system based-on digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness for system of industrial robot. Fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the real of industrial processes. In this thesis, a self-organizing fuzzy controller for the industrial robot manipulator with a actuator located at the base is studied. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variable of the controller, In the synthesis of a FLC, one of the most difficult problems is the determination of linguistic control rules from the human operators. To overcome this difficult, SOFC is proposed fir a hierarchical control structure consisting of basic level and high level that modify control rules. The proposed SOFC scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Performance of the SOFC is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for robot with eight joints.

  • In this study, we developed a program to estimate discharge efficiently considering major hydraulic characteristic including water level, river bed, water slope and roughness coefficient in a natural river. Stream discharge was measured at Gongju gauge station located in the down stream of the Daechung Dam during normal and dry seasons from 2003 to 2004. The developed model was compared with the results from the existing rating curve at T/M gage stations, and was used for runoff analyses. Evaluating the developed river discharge estimation program, it was applied during 1983-2004 that base flow separation method and RRFS (Rainfall Runoff Forecasting System) which is based on SSARR (Streamflow Synthesis And Resevoir Regulation). The result presents the stage-discharge curve creator range at the Gong-ju is overestimated by approximately $10-20\%$, especially at the low stage. It is attributed to the hydraulic characteristics at the study. The discharge simulated by the RRFS and base flow separation, which is calibrated using the measurement at the early spring and late fall season during relatively d]v season, shows the least errors. The coefficient of roughness at Gongju station varied with the high and low water level.

Statistical Optimization of Medium Components by Response Surface Methodology to Enhance Menaquinone-7 (Vitamin K2) Production by Bacillus subtilis

  • Optimization of the culture medium to maximize menaquinone-7 (MK-7) production by Bacillus subtilis strain KCTC 12392BP in static culture was carried out using statistical experimental methods, including one factor at a time, fractional factorial design, and response surface methodology (RSM). Maltose (carbon source), tryptone (nitrogen source), and glycerol (activator) were identified as the key medium components for MK-7 synthesis by the fractional factorial design, and were selected for statistical optimization by RSM. The statistical analysis indicated that, in the range that was studied, maltose, tryptone, and glycerol were all critical factors having profound effects on the production of MK-7, with their coefficients for linear and quadratic all significant at the p < 0.05 level. The established model was efficient and feasible, with a determination coefficient ($R^2$) of 0.9419. The predicted concentrations of maltose, tryptone, and glycerol in the optimal medium were determined as 36.78, 62.76, and 58.90 g/l, respectively. In this optimized medium, the maximum yield of MK-7 reached a remarkably high level of $71.95{\pm}1.00{\mu}g/ml$ after 9 days of static fermentation, which further verified the practicability of this optimized strategy.

  • In this paper, we deals with operator allocation and binding in high-level synthesis. We proposed a new methode to allocation and bind for scheduled operations on each control step after scheduling. Especially, we take account ILP formulation in order to get optimal allocation and binding result. Experiment was done on the HAL DFG model of Differential Equation, to show it's effectiveness.

  • 최근 유럽에서 DVB-T HDTV 방송 표준이 정하지면서 오디오 포맷으로 HE-AAC가 채택되었다. HE-AAC는 압축효율은 높지만 연산량이 높아 낮은 성능의 DSP에서 수행하기에는 어려움이 있다. DVB-T에서는 5.1채널을 사용하고 있어 더욱더 많은 연산을 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 ISO/DEC 14496-3 MPEG4 HE(High Efficiency)-AAC의 Level4에 해당하는 Multichannel Decoder를 최적화하여 구현하고. 가장 많은 연산을 필요로 하는 Synthesis Filter Bank에 제안된 알고리즘을 적용하여 연산량을 줄였고 대부분의 연산부를 어셈블리로 코드 최적화를 하여 작은 성능의 DSP를 사용하여 실시간 Multichannel HE-AAC Audio Decoder의 구현이 가능하게 하였다. DVB-T 오디오 시스템에 필수로 필요한 Audio Description, Dynamic Range Control, Downmix 등을 함께 구현하여 실제 수신기에 사용이 가능하도록 하였다. DSP는 Samsung의 CalmRISC16 + MAC24 core 를 사용하였다.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the scheduling problem in the high level synthesis. In this approach, iterative rescheduling processes starting with ASAP(As Soon As Possible) scheduling result are performed in a branch-and-bound manner so to arrive at the scheduling result of the lowest hardware cost under the given timing constraint. At each iteration step, only the selected nodes are considered for rescheduling, and the lower bound cost estimation is performed to avoid the unnecessary attempts to search for an optimal result. This branch-and-bound method turns out to be effective in pruning the search space, and thus reducing run time considerably in many cases.

  • In this work, the optimized design methodology in high-level synthesis related with scheduling and hardware allocation is developed by simulated annealing technique effectively modified . Applying this method to digital filter design, the optimized tradeoff problem of speed and hardware costs in pipelined digital filter case and array digital filter case are investigated. While, it is confirmed that the suggested method gives the improved cost function value faster and can be used in complicated digital filter design.

  • 칩의 집적도에 비레한 테스트 문제의 원초적인 해결은 VHDL등으로 기술되는 상위기능 수준에서부터 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 상위수준의 기능정보에서 테스트점을 삽입 제어흐름(control flow)를 변경하여 고집적 회로의 고장점검도를 증진시키는 기술을 소개한다. while 푸프와 if-then-else 제어문에 AND 및 OR 타입 등의 테스점을 삽입하여 내부 신호의 조정도를 최적화시킨다. 랜덤패턴 시뮬레이션을 벤치마크 회로에 적용 각 변수의 조정도를 산출하여 테스트점의 종류 및 삽입할 위치를 결정하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 상대적 랜덤도에 의하여 VHDL 코드에 단일 테스트점을 삽입 합성한 결과 게이트 수준회로에 대한 고장점검도가 최대 30% 까지 증진됨을 알 수 있었다.
