동절기 수압시험을 대체하는 공기압시험의 적정압력 비교분석에 관한 연구 (Winter to replace the hydraulic test and pneumatic test comparative analysis of study on the optimal pressure)

  • Using a high-rise building water piping after hydrostatic test of the reliability of the leak to be completed if the pressure is maintained until the leak is not commercially available considered. Due to the nature of high-rise buildings and the construction period will take several years from the lower levels of use of the water supply and fire fighting water pipe construction is in progress, the order of which I do most of the first pipe to the construction and more than three years. So kind of riser pipe is complete, install the valve in the basement by installing an automatic pump to maintain a constant pressure after hydrostatic test and after each floor plumbing piping is complete, the progress of the hydrostatic test without undergoing a separate branch pipe the valve is opened automatically when the number of the pressing pressure of the structure. I kind of do and keep working pressure of pipe until the completion of the construction work to keep the damage to human error when it is intended to prepare. In winter, the frost protection and an alternative to drainage water pipe is damaged or deformed, even if unaware of the finishing work to the building, the use of the damage caused by a leak in a after construction of finish work to be expected. Alternative to reduce this damage if the pressure test without fear of freezing to help maintain long-term commercial pressures may be considered.

Extract of high hydrostatic pressure-treated danshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza) ameliorates atherosclerosis via autophagy induction

  • Danshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza) is a traditional medicinal plant widely used in Asian countries for its pharmacological activities (e.g., amelioration of cardiovascular diseases). In this study, we investigated the anti-atherosclerotic activity of raw danshen root extract prepared using high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) at 550 MPa for 5 min and hot water extraction. This method was useful for elimination of bacteria from cultured danshen plants and for better extraction yield of active principles. The HHP-treated danshen extract (HDE) inhibited proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and induced autophagy that was assessed by LC3 conversion and p62 degradation. HDE suppressed foam cell formation in oxLDL-induced RAW264.7 macrophages; lysosomal activity simultaneously increased, measured by acridine orange staining. HDE also reduced atherosclerotic plaque development in vivo in apolipoprotein E knock-out (ApoE-/-) mice fed a high cholesterol diet. Taken together, these results indicated that HDE exhibited anti-atherosclerotic activity via autophagy induction.

고압 효소 액화 장치를 이용한 백년초 점질물 분해 공정의 최적화 (Optimization of Demucilage Process of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten Fruit using High Hydrostatic Pressure Enzyme Dissolution)

  • This study aimed to develop and optimize a demucilaging process of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten (OFI) fruit to increase its usability as functional food ingredient and food additive. Viscozyme and Novozym 33095 as multienzyme complex having a broad spectrum of carbohydrases and pectolytic enzymes, respectively, were used in enzymatic dissolution along with high hydrostatic pressure liquefaction. To optimize the liquefaction process using high hydrostatic pressure liquefying extractor, response surface methodology with 3-factor central composite design was employed with reaction factors such as temperatures (25, 32, 40, 48, and $55^{\circ}C$), pressures (20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 MPa), and times (15, 30, 45, 60, and 75 min). At optimum conditions ($25^{\circ}C$, 100 MPa, and 58.275 min) for high hydrostatic pressure liquefaction process, the processed OFI fruit juice was predicted to have viscosity at 2.917 poise, partly due to the release of free sugars such as fructose and glucose detected using HPLC-ELSA system. The results above suggests that the OFI fruit juice with decreased viscosity may be used for various manufacturing processes of food, beverage, ice cream, and cosmetics.

초고압처리 신선초 녹즙의 저온저장 안정성 및 관능적 특성 변화 (Effect of High Hydrostatic Pressure on the Shelf-life and Sensory Characteristics of Angelica keiskei Juice)

  • 초고압처리한 신선초 녹즙을 $4^{\circ}C$에서 냉장보관 하면서 미생물의 변화 및 관능적 특성의 변화를 살펴보았다. 초고압처리는 전보에서 최적살균조건으로 계산된 $5700\;kg_f/cm^2$, 7 min의 조건으로 처리하였는데 초기 $8.7{\times}10^6\;CFU/mL$ 존재하던 일반 세균수가 초고압처리 후에는 $3.2{\times}10^3\;CFU/mL$로 감소하여 전보에서 계산된 예상 살균치인 3.44 log cycle 감소에 잘 부합하였다. 특히, 저온저장 식품에 문제가 되는 녹농균이 완전히 사멸하였으므로 저온저장에 유리한 특성을 부여하리라 생각되었다. 대장균 및 대장균군도 완전히 사멸되었다. 관능검사 결과, 밝기와 풀냄새를 제외하고는 초고압처리에 의해 관능특성상의 유의적 차이가 생기지 않았으며, $4^{\circ}C$에서 8일간 저장한 후에는 신선감에서 초고압처리한 녹즙이 유의적으로 높은 점수를 얻었다. 하지만 초고압처리 녹즙에서도 효소적 갈색화로 인한 색도의 변화가 일어나 해결해야 할 문제점으로 부각되었다.

Introducing hydrostatic extrusion process for long-length processing of Bi-2223 superconducting tape

  • There are many problems in wire fabrication of long length Bi-2223 superconductor by using conventional extrusion method. They are mainly due to high surface resistance and inhomogeneous distribution of inner stress. Hydrostatic extrusion process will not only decrease the extrusion pressure but also enhance homogeneous deformation of material by reducing friction force between billet and container Hydrostatic extrusion method is considered to be useful fur fabrication of the homogeneous wire with high density. In this paper, hydrostatic extrusion process is introduced to fabricate Bi-2223 superconducting tape, and also discussed are the interface homogeneity and microstructural aspects of extruded BSCCO/Ag billet.

유압실린더내 정압베어링의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Hydrostatic Bearing in the Hydraulic Cylinder)

  • On designing of hydrostatic bearing, load, quantity of oil, stiffness and friction load are considered as basic characteristics. For the analysis of these basic characteristics, pressure distribution by oil film is obtained. Speed of piston, clearance, leakage of oil, eccentricity, shape and roughness of bearing affect the results which are the analysis of basic characteristics of load, quantity of oil, stiffness and friction load. The relationship among those factors are required for optimum designing of hydrostatic bearing for machining tool. Reynold's Equation is calculated through finite element method. Load, leakage of quantity and pressure distribution as variation of length, land length ratio, eccentricity and axial velocity of bearing are investigated. Then optimum design variables are obtained.

  • The leakage generated from the clearance between the cylinder bore and the piston is one of the most serious problems in the hydraulic piston pump, and it even results in terrible decrease of the volume efficiency at a great velocity and high pressure. In this paper, the lubrication characteristic of the hydrostatic slipper bearing equipped in the hydraulic piston pump has been worked out by experimentation with three model bearings of different shape. Preparatory to this, not only the three models of piston-slipper were designed, but the corresponding experimental apparatus were also manufactured. As a result, it was verified that, according to the supply pressure, the hydrostatic bearing part of the slipper is severely affected by the pocket pressure, land pressure, oil film thickness, and leakage flow.

  • Hot hydrostatic extruder was developed. The main objective of the development is forming fine wire and tube. On account of effectiveness and high performance, the extruder was designed to have double action. Therefore the main cylinder and mandrel can be driven independently. To cope with severe condition of high temperature and pressure, wire-wound container equipped with heater was used. Sealing technique also is important in this process, so seal ring was made of super-elastic metal. Another key for successful forming is choice of proper pressure medium. Fine wire and tube produced by the extruder can be used in semiconductor industry and medicine.

  • Fine metal (Au, Ag, Cu) wire was extruded with hydrostatic extrusion process in cold condition. A vertical type 900kN hydrostatic extruder has been developed. The extruder was facilitated with high pressure container which are available for hot and cold forming. The container endured 1400MPa internal pressure and extrusion ratio To was achieved in cold forming for Au fine wire which had $600{\mu}m$ diameter. In contrast to the conventional macroscopic-sized-billet fine-wire requires higher extrusion pressure and effect of friction is much more significant.

고압에서 β-glucosidase 반응속도론 및 평형에 관한 연구 (Kinetics and Equilibrium Study on β-glucosidase under High Hydrostatic Pressure)

  • 중고압 하에서 $\beta$-glucosidase효소반응을 물리화학적 관점에서 연구하였다. 모델 기질 (p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside)에 대한 $\beta$-glucosidase 효소의 작용에 대한 압력 효과를 실험 하였다. 즉, 압력 조건(25MPa, 50 MPa, 75 MPa, 100 MPa)과 시간 (10분, 60분, 1시간, 6시간, 24시간, 40시간)의 처리 조건에서 효소 활성도를 분광학적인 표준방법에 따라 측정하였다. 효소-기질 반응의 단계를 크게 kinetic 구간과 평형 구간으로 구분하여 물리화학적 모델을 적용하여, 정 역반응속도 상수, 평형상수, 압력에 의한 부피 감소 등을 산출하였다. 대기압에서 100MPa까지 압력이 증가할수록 효소-기질 반응의 생성물이 더 많이 형성되었으며 전형적인 kinetic 구간과 평형 구간이 나타났다. 압력, 시간, 생성물농도 등의 데이터로부터 kinetic 구간과 평형에서의 생성물 예측 모델을 완성하였다. 결론적으로 중고압 처리에 의하여 효소-기질 반응이 촉진됨을 알 수 있었고, 임의의 압력 및 시간 조건에 따른 생성물의 농도를 예측할 수 있게 되었다.
