UHF Noise leakage characteristics of power transformer (전력용 변압기의 극초단파 대역 외부잡음 유입 특성 측정)

  • 가스절연개폐장치(GIS)에 적용하고 있는 극초단파(Ultra High Frequency, UHF) 전자기파 부분방전 측정기술을 전력용 변압기 분야에 적용하는데 외부잡음 유입특성을 고려하여야 한다. 부싱을 통하여 부분방전 신호 이외의 외부잡음의 유입가능성이 크다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현장에 설치 운전중인 154kV 변압기에 UHF 센서를 설치하여 부싱을 통해 유입되는 외부잡음을 0~2GHz 의 주파수영역에서 측정 하였다.

  • Fuel Cell (FC) has slow response characteristic for load variation. During a load step, the inverter cannot pull more power from the fuel cell than is currently available so supplemental power must be provide by some sort of energy storage elements. In this paper, hi-directional do-dc converter for FC generation system is proposed to improve load response characteristic. The hi-directional converter interfaces the low voltage battery to the inverter dc link of FC generation system. The converter is based on a active full bridge in the primary side and on a half bridge in the secondary of a high frequency isolation transformer. The complete operating principles and simulation results in presented.

  • A design method of a current source using 12-pulse phase-controlled rectifier (PCR) is presented. The critical inductance of the 12-pulse PCR is derived and it is shown that the critical inductance can be reduced using a current source. The control circuit of the 12-pulse PCR with an inner fast dynamic loop is proposed to give the frequency synchronism and to reduce the subharmonics due to the unbalance of the transformer of the power line. This circuit is analyzed and its dynamic loop is optimized. The optimal constant PIMF (proportional, integral and measurable variable feedback, and feedforware) controller is also designed using the time-weighted quadratic performance index. It is shown via experimental results that the proposed design method gives high dynamic and static performance of the current source using the 12-pulse PCR.

  • The proposed dual-output DC-DC converter that bases on flyback converter can obtain two output voltage with non-isolated main-output and isolated sub-output at the same time using single-winding high frequency transformer. It can solve problems in multi-winding converter that use one main-switch, and also control quality of isolated sub-output voltage can be improved by additional sub-switch to the second. For analysis and design of the proposed converter system, converters are classified as operation mode from switching state and are become modeling by applying state space averaging method. Steady-state characteristics and dynamic characteristics are analyzed by DC component and perturbation component from state space averaging model. From experiment converter, validity of analysis and design for the propose converter system is confirm.

  • This Paper proposes a new toplogy snubber circuit of Full-Bridge DC-DC Converter for reducing conduction losses and snubber circuit heating loss. Using Partial Resonent Soft Switching Method and Clamping, studying on a new snubber circuit for reducing losses that a snubber circuit heating loss in the secondly diode rectification side, a switching losses in the primary side of IGBT inverter and conduction losses in the high frequency insulation transformer. In this paper, we present FB DC-DC converter included a new lossless snubber circuit, and then be analyzed and simulated.

  • In this paper we analysis DC bus voltage stress at high line voltage and light load in $S^4$-PFC Isolated AC/DC converter with DC bus voltage feedback using coupling in transformer. In this converter, the principle of operation and the practical problems in the design are considered. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the operation and performance of the $S^4$-PFC converter with DC bus voltage feedback. Experimental sets are performed in the conditions; switching frequency 100 kHz, output of 5 V, 60W, and universal line input voltage.

  • This paper describes the analysis results on the PT ferroresonance at 154 kV GIS (gas Insulated substation by EMTP(Electro- magnetic Transient Program). We had simulated the PT ferroresonance between a potential transformer(PT) and an open circuit breaker's grading capacitance. The ferroresonance leads to very large power frequency overvoltages on PT bus and subsequent insulation failure. The large power can be supplied to the PT by the high voltage on the opened circuit due to the grading capacitance and equivalent capacitance of the buses during the ferroresonance. The damping circuit connected on the secondary winding were considered in the model. The actual countermeasure include a saturable inductor and a resistor series-mounted, but the 2 ohms of damping resistance was used in the computationl model.

  • A Couette Charger was used to simulate streaming electrification process in transformer. This paper describes the electrification characteristics of the energized and unenergized Couette Charger. By applying low frequency and high voltage across the cylinder of the Couette Charger, the measured short circuit current$i_{sc}$) is compared with the measured values of unenergized Couette Charger. As a result, short circuit current was increased with voltage.

  • 계통연계형 태양광발전 시스템을 구성하고 있는 전력변환 장치인 PCS(power conditioning system)은 성능, 효율, 가격, 그리고 보호 및 협조 문제에 따라 여러 가지 형태가 있다. 본 논문에서는 고주파 변압기를 이용한 컨버터에 대하여 제안한다. 이 시스템은 FB(full bridge) 컨버터, 고주파 변압기, 다이오드 정류기, DC link 필터, PWM 인버터 그리고 저역통과필터로 이루어져 있다. 고주파 변압기를 이용한 컨버터의 스위칭 주파수는 10kHz로 Uniploar PWM 방식을 이용하였고, 변압기의 2차단에 다이오드 정류기와 커패시터를 통하여 DC로 정류한다. 고주파 변압기를 이용한 컨버터의 제어는 전압형 전류제어로 MPPT 알고리즘에 의한 입력전류제어를 담당하고, DC link 전압의 제어는 Unipolar PWM 인버터에서 제어를 담당한다. 논문에서는 고주파 변압기를 이용한 FB Conveter의 제어 방법에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통 연계가 가능한 새로운 교류/직류 전력변환 장치를 제안한다. 제안된 전력변환 회로는 정현파의 입력상 전류를 가지고, 양방향 전력 전달이 가능하며, 역률 제어가 가능하다는 장점으로 인하여 계통 연계형 전력변환 장치로 적합하다. 특히 제안된 전력변환 장치는 무효전력 소자의 사용을 최소화하여 시스템의 신뢰성을 증대시키고, 전기적 절연을 고주파 변압기를 통하여 얻도록 하여 시스템의 부피를 줄일 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 전력변환 회로의 구성 방법과 각 부분 별 동작에 대해서 기술하였으며 실험 장치를 구성하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다.
