100,000 RPM급으로 회전하는 에어공구에서의 저토오크 측정에 관한연구 (Study on measuring the low torque on an air tool operating at 100,000 RPM class)

  • An experiment is conducted for measuring the performance of an air tool, which is operated at 100,000 RPM at the unloaded state with the low torque. An experimental apparatus is developed as the power absorption type dynamometer. Inlet static pressure, flow rate, RPM and force are measured simultaneously. Torque, output power and specific output power are obtained. Those experimental results are compared with the experimental results obtained on a commercial dynamometer. However, no commercial dynamometers are available for measuring the torque above 30,000RPM. In order to use the commercial dynamometer, a reduction gear is applied to the shaft of dynamometer. Torque and power obtained on the commercial dynamometer show 50% lower than those obtained on a power absorption type dynamometer, because the inertia force is added to the air tool rotor for the braking system. Moreover, the starting RPM on the commercial dynamometer is less than 40,000RPM. From the compared results, they show that the power absorption type dynamometer should be applied for measuring the performance of an air tool operating at low torque and high RPM.

흡기중의 수소첨가가 산업용 디젤기관의 성능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Hydrogen Added into In-let Air on Industrial Diesel Engine Performance)

  • 디젤기관은 공기만을 흡입 압축한 후에 연료를 분사하여 연소하기 때문에 높은 압축비가 가능하다. 높은 압축비에 의한 고효율의 장점과 연료의 직접분사에 의한 매연미립자의 배출 및 질소산화물의 배출이 많은 단점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 많은 연구들이 진행되었으며 수소를 흡기중에 공급하는 기술도 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미량의 수소를 연소실에 공급하여 엔진성능에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 토크와 엔진속도를 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 0%와 700rpm, 1000rpm, 1500rpm, 2000rpm로 구분하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 질소산화물이 약간 증가하였지만 연료소비율, 스모크와 일산화탄소 배출은 감소하였다. 수소의 첨가는 저부하 영역에서는 효과가 거의 없었지만 고부하 영역에서 큰 효과가 있었다.

  • In this study, we measured cylindricity and Runout of the air bearing spindle, and tested PCB(printed circuit boards) drilling with 0.4mm micro drill at 90,000rpm and 110,000rpm in order to obtain drilling hole error. Results are as follows; The air bearing spindle's Runout was not so high within $10\mu{m}$ from 20,000rpm to 80,000rpm but it grew after 80,000rpm. Drilling hole size error was 9% at 80,000rpm and 12% at 110,000rpm because of spindle's Run out. Drilled hole shape falsified more 110,000rpm than 90,000rpm.

  • An experiment is conducted for measuring the performance of an air tool, which is operated at 100,000 RPM in an unloaded state with very low torque. A 551 kPa in gauge pressure is supply to the inlet of an air tool. An experimental apparatus is developed as a friction type dynamometer. Inlet total pressure, air flow rate, rotational speed and operating force are measured simultaneously. Torque, output power and specific output power are obtained with different rotational speeds. Those are compared with the experimental results which were obtained by a commercial dynamometer. However, no commercial dynamometers are available for measuring the torque above 30,000 RPM. In order to reduce the rotational speed, a reduction gear is applied between the air tool and the commercial dynamometer. Torque and power obtained by the commercial dynamometer show $55\%$ lower than those obtained by the developed friction type dynamometer, because the mass is added to the rotor of air tool for the braking system of the commercial dynamometer and power loss is generated by the reduction gear. From the compared results, the friction type dynamometer should be applied for measuring the performance of the air tool operating at low torque and high RPM.

국내산 흑연의 구형화에 미치는 로터 속도의 영향 (The Effect of Rotor Speed on the Circiuarity of Domestic Graphite)

  • 국내산 인상흑연정광의 리튬이온전지 소재로서 활용을 위해 고강도 혼합기를 이용하여 구형화 실험 후 건식분급을 진행하여 각 산물에 대한 구형화도와 입도를 분석하였다. 3,000 rpm의 로터속도에서는 정광시료와 산물의 입도와 구형화도의 차이가 관찰되지 않았으나, 로터속도를 6,000 rpm, 10,000 rpm 12,000 rpm으로 조절하여 구형화도 실험을 진행한 결과, 로터속도와 구동시간의 증가에 따라 구형화도는 증가하고 입도는 감소하였다. 로터속도 12,000 rpm에서 10분간 구동한 결과, 구형화도는 0.870으로부터 0.936까지 증가하였다. 구형화실험 후 건식분급을 진행하였을 때 조립자의 구형화도는 0.947까지 증가하였고 SEM 결과에서 구형입자가 확인되어 구형화가 성공적으로 이루어졌다고 판단되었다.

소형 고속 SI 엔진에서 SCV의 연비저감 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Decrease Fuel Consumption of SCV in a High Speed Small SI Engine)

  • 실험에 사용된 엔진은 $3000\~12000$ RPM의 광범위한 회전수범위를 가지고 있어 엔진성능을 향상시키기 위해서는 다양한 제어장치가 필요하다. SCV는 저회전수에서 엔진의 성능을 개선시키기 위한 방법 중의 하나로 자주 언급되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소형고속엔진에 SCV를 장착하여 저회전수 범위에서 SCV가 엔진에 미치는 영향에 대해 조사하였다. 실험에서는 4valve SOHC 공랭식 단기통 엔진에 SCV의 형상에 따른 스월 강도, 출력, 연료소비율, 배기가스를 조사하였다 그 결과 SCV의 사용 가능 범위 5000 RPM에서 연료소비율 $9\%$의 저감효과를 보았다.

정유공정 압축기의 10,500 rpm 운전속도 밸런싱을 통한 MCS의 확장 (Expanding the MCS of Refinery Process Compressor through Operating-Speed Balancing at 10,500 rpm)

  • This paper deals with the operating-speed (high-speed) balancing of a refinery gasoline HDS (hydrodesulfurization) process recycle-gas 8-stages compressor rotor. A low-speed balancing condition of the rotor was measured as maintaining the G2.5 level. But an inspection run of operating-speed balancing condition, using tilting-pad journal bearings of actual use, showed that while it could be continuously-operated safely at a rated speed of 10,500 rpm, the rotor would not be able to run over 11,000 rpm as the vibration increased very sharply, approaching 11,000 rpm. In order to cure that a series of operating-speed balancing, which first calculated balance correction-weights by applying the influence coefficient measured and calculated at 10,500 rpm and then implemented correction works, was carried-out. The final operating-speed balancing results showed that the vibrations at the bearing pedestals represented very good levels of 0.2 mm/s by decreasing to as much as the 1/10 of the original vibrations and particularly, even at a targeted maximum continuous operating speed, MCS, of 11,500 rpm the vibrations represented about 1 mm/s, which is the operating-speed balancing vibration specification of API. Therefore, the expansion of MCS was successfully accomplished through the operating-speed balancing.

유한요소해석을 이용한 선박수송차량용 사이클로이드 감속기의 성능 검토 (Performance Review of a Cycloid Speed Reducer for Ship Transport Vehicles using FEM)

  • 사이클로이드 감속기는 기계의 회전수를 조절하기위한 장치이다. 사이클로이드 감속기는 큰 토크로 변환시킬 수 있는 장점이 있지만 높은 회전수 에는 적합하지 않다. 한편 200톤 하중이 가해지는 수송기기에 있어서 감속기의 사용한계속도를 찾아내기는 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 LS-DYNA를 이용하여 마찰손실동력을 수치 해석적으로 검토하였다. 최대토크3.5ton-m에 있어서 회전수 60rpm 그리고 162rpm으로 구동하여 해석을 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 60rpm회전의 경우 최대응력은 RV gear의 경우 463MPa 핀기어의 경우 507MPa이 발생하였다. 마찰손실동력은 50kW이며, 162rpm의 경우 최대응력값은 RV gear와 핀기어 각각 550MPa, 538MPa이 발생하였다. 손실동력은 175kW이 발생하여 사용이 불가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

호스지표살포기의 살포균일도 분석 (Analysis of the Spreading uniformity of House Slurry Spreader)

  • A new hose slurry spreader with improved spreading uniformity is developed to distribute the slurrynear to the soil surface and to reduce odor problems. The precision of distributed slurry was investigated using 3 types of slurry and found to be dependent on the rotor speed. For the solid matter separated fluid containing 0.1% of dry matter rotor speed of 150 rpm showed best uniformity with CV of 10% In the case of slurry from dairy cattle which contains 8.2% of dry matter high rotor speed of 330 rpm showed best result with CV of 7.2% Also swine slurry which has a 13.6% of dry matter content showed the best result of 8.1% CV at the high rotor speed of 250rpm. A high rotor speed generates enough pressure in the central distributor and as a result uniform distribution of slurry can be achieved. In conclusion it is highly recommended rotor speed of 300 rpm to get the best performance.

Study of quality characteristics in gluten-free rice batter according to ultra-high speed conditions

  • When baking, the proper blending or mixing of materials will affect the quality of the product. The mixing strength is important when establishing the optimal conditions for batter, and control of the mixing condition is accordingly an important factor. This study investigated the effects of the mixing speed and time on the quality characteristics of a gluten-free type of rice batter. The batter samples manufactured for this purpose are as follows: control (+) (wheat flour), control (-) (rice flour), T1 (1,800 rpm, 1 min), T2 (1,800 rpm, 2 min), T3 (1,800 rpm, 3 min), T4 (3,600 rpm, 1 min), T5 (3,600 rpm, 2 min), T6 (3,600 rpm, 3 min). In this study, rice flour was used in the T1 to T6 samples. The pH of the batter tended to be higher when the mixing speed was slower and the time was shorter depending on the ultra-high mixing conditions. The moisture content of T3 was highest, and there was no difference according to the ultra-high speed conditions. The specific volumes of the ultra-high mixing treatments were higher than those of the control samples. The relationship between the specific volume, hardness and springiness of rice bread according to the mixing speed and time was weak. Therefore, it is considered that the application of ultra-high speeds when manufacturing gluten-free batter can have a positive effect on improving the production efficiency by reducing the processing time.
