일 농어촌 중년여성의 고혈압에 대한 건강신념 및 건강행위 실천의지 (A Study of Middle-Aged Women's Health Beliefs and Their Intention to Practice Health Behaviors to Prevent and Improve Hypertension)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate factors related to middle-aged women's health beliefs and their intention to practice health behaviors for preventing and improving hypertension. Methods: The participants were 319 middle-aged(40-59 years) women who lived G city. Data was collected from January to February, 2005. Personal interviews were performed. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's multiple comparison test and hierarchial multiple regression analysis. Results: Perceived susceptibility of health belief was high in those who had higher educational level, disease history and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived seriousness was high in those who had higher educational level, middle economic status and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived benefits was high in those who had higher educational level and perceived barriers was low in those who had disease history and hypertension, significantly(p<0.05). The subject's intention to practice health behaviors was significantly high in those who were younger, who had higher educational level and menopausal status(p<0.05). In hierarchial multiple regression analysis, the subject's intention was related to perceived seriousness, perceived benefit and educational level, significantly(p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to develope the education programs which can increase the subject's health belief and intention to practice health behaviors towards hypertension in middle-aged women.

중년기 성인의 노화불안과 영향요인 (Aging Anxiety and Related Factors of Middle-Aged Adults)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify aging anxiety and influencing factors of middle-aged adults. Methods: Descriptive correlation design was used. Three hundred and three middle-aged adults participated in the study and completed the questionnaires in the period from September 11 to October 15 of 2011. The data was analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchial multiple regression analysis. Results: Aging anxiety of middle-aged adults was higher than a moderate level. Socio-demographic variables such as age, religion, education, economic level, perceived health status and experience of living with older adults influenced significantly on aging anxiety. In contrast, general self-efficacy, aging knowledge and attitude toward older adults were negatively correlated with aging anxiety. Hierarchial multiple regression analysis incorporating these variables showed an explanation rate of aging anxiety at 21%. And religion, perceived health status, attitude toward older adults, and general self-efficacy were statistically significant among variables that influence on aging anxiety. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that senior preparation programs that can enhance self-efficacy, induce positive attitude on older adults and promote health should be implemented to reduce aging anxiety of middle-aged adults.

대학생의 행복정도와 양생실천정도와의 관련성 (The Relationship between Happiness and Yangsaeng among University Students in the Republic of Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between happiness and Yangsaeng in university students of the Republic of Korea. Yangsaeng is a traditional health care regimen that incorporates specific principles and methods with the purpose of improving the health and longevity of life. Methods: The subjects of this study were 358 university students in Korea. Data were collected by using a self-reported questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, hierarchial multiple regression, and Cronbach's alpha. Results: Practicing Yangsaeng yielded a statistically significant difference depending on the subject's satisfaction with his/her major, monthly household income, and smoking tendencies. In comparison, the statistical degree of happiness depended on the subject's satisfaction with the his/her major, monthly household income, and boyfriend or girlfriend situations. Yangsaeng was positively correlated with happiness (r=.66, p<.001). Hierarchial multiple regression showed that the Yangsaeng explained 43% of happiness, and if major satisfaction, monthly household income, and boyfriend or girlfriend situations were also considered, this model explained 56% of happiness. Conclusion: The Yangsaeng oriental health care regimen could produce a higher happiness level. Therefore, Yangsaeng could be recommended as a useful means of promoting health and happiness.

일개 종합병원 간호사의 임종간호 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 융합적인 요인 (Convergence Factors Influencing Terminal Care Stress in General Hospital Nurses)

  • 연구의 목적은 종합병원 간호사의 임종간호 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 연구의 대상자는 J시 소재의 일개 종합병원에서 근무하는 간호사 197명이다. 자료수집 기간은 2017년 12월 25일부터 31일까지이며, 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 25.0 Program을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient와 hierarchial multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 임종간호 스트레스 예측요인은 품위 있는 죽음에 대한 태도, 이직의도, 존엄사에 대한 태도 및 영성이 임종간호 스트레스를 설명하는 유의한 변수로 나타났으며, 이들 변인들은 임종간호 스트레스를 39.6% 설명하였다. 본 연구결과에 비추어 볼 때 임종간호 스트레스를 감소시키기 위해 임종간호 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 체계적으로 사정하고 이들 변인을 모두 고려한 구체적인 중재를 개발하여 이에 대한 효과를 검증하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.

임상간호사의 감성지능과 대인관계능력, 직무만족도의 관계 (The Relationships among Emotional Intelligence, Interpersonal Relationship, and Job Satisfaction of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations among emotional intelligence, interpersonal relationship, and job satisfaction among clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 315 nurses who had worked for more than 6 months at five general hospitals by a self-reported questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchial regression using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The mean score of emotional intelligence was 3.42 and the score of self emotional appraisal was the highest. The mean score of interpersonal relationship was 3.44 and the score of intimacy was the highest. The mean score of job satisfaction was 3.04. Emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship were positively correlated with the job satisfaction. Hierarchial multiple regression analysis showed that use of emotion was the main factor of affecting job satisfaction, which explained 30.8% of the variance for the nurses' job satisfaction together with intimacy, regulation of emotion, position, and monthly salary. Conclusion: These findings indicated that emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship, especially use and control of emotion and intimacy contributed to nurses' job satisfaction. It is necessary to develop and implement the program for increasing emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship for improving job satisfaction.

종업원의 직무특성이 서비스품질에 미치는 효과 (The effects of job characteristics on service quality)

  • The purpose of this research is to test the effects of employee perceived job characteristics on service quality. Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. Multiple regressional analysis showed that job importance, job variety, and feedback had an affirmative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, but autonomy had a negative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance.

여대생의 체질량지수군별 섭식태도에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인 분석 (Factors Affecting Eating Attitude of Female Undergraduates in Regard to BMI)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the factors affecting eating attitude of female undergraduates according to BMI. Methods: A descriptive survey design with a convenience sampling was used and data collection was done using a self-report questionnaire answered by 406 female undergraduates from four universities located in Seoul, Kangwon, Gyeongsangbuk and Chungcheongnam Provinces. ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchial multiple regression were used the SPSS WIN 17.0 Program to analyze the data. Results: With respect to BMI, the students were found to be in 3 groups, whose differences in eating attitude were significant. Eating attitude had significant positive correlation with height (r=.118, p=.017), weight (r=.267, p<.000), BMI (r=.239, p<.001), and depression (r=.375, p<.001), and negative correlation with subjective well-being (r=-.153, p=.002) and body esteem (r=-.287, p<.001). In the hierarchial multiple regression analysis, college major, height, weight and religion, were controlled. Depression and body esteem regarding weight significantly predicted 40.7% of eating attitude for the underweight group and normal weight group, body esteem: weight and depression were significant predictors for 27.5% of eating attitude for the normal weight group. Body esteem: weight explained 32.6% of eating attitude for the overweight group. Conclusion: Findings of this study allow a comprehensive understanding of eating attitudes and related factors among female undergraduates in Korea. Further study with a larger random sample from various universities is necessary.

간호사의 자기효능감과 집단효능감이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-efficacy and Collective Efficacy on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among self-efficacy, collective efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of nurses working in general hospitals. Methods: Data were collected from 239 nurses working in five general hospitals of a local area by self-reported questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchial multiple regression. Results: Self-efficacy, collective efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment showed significantly positive correlations. Hierarchial multiple regression analysis showed that self-efficacy was the main factor of affecting job satisfaction, which explained 14.3% of the variance for the nurses' job satisfaction together with collective efficacy and weekly working time. In addition, the primary factor of affecting organization commitment was self-efficacy, which accounted for 17.2% of the variance for the nurses' organizational commitment together with hospital size and shift work. Conclusion: Self-efficacy and nursing working condition such as working time or hospital size contributed to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment and collective efficacy contributed to the job satisfaction. Therefore, the strategies for improving self and collective efficacy should be considered. Further study is also needed to investigate the concept of collective efficacy and its' measurement, and the relationship between collective efficacy and organizational commitment.

융복합시대 산업장 근로자의 직무 스트레스 및 구강건강 관련 삶의 질이 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Industrial Workers' Job Stress and Oral Health Related Quality of Life on Subjective Happiness in convergence era)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일부 산업장 근로자들의 직무 스트레스 및 구강건강 관련 삶의 질과 주관적 행복감과의 관련성을 평가하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상은 근로자 228명을 대상으로 하였고, 조사는 2016년 8월 8일부터 9월 2일까지 실시하였으며, 연구 도구는 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식 설문지를 본 연구에 적합하도록 사용하였다. 자료는 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 t-test와 one way ANOVA, Scheffe'사후 검정 분석, Pearson correlation, Hierarchial multiple regression을 이용하여 분석하였다. 직무 스트레스와 구강건강영향지수, 직무 스트레스와 주관적 행복감과는 음의 상관관계를 나타냈고, 구강건강영향지수와 주관적 행복감과는 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 독립변수들은 성별, 주관적 경제 수준, 주관적 전신건강, 정기적 치과 검진, 직무 스트레스가 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 따라서 근로자의 주관적 행복감 향상을 위해 정기적인 산업 구강 중재 프로그램의 시행과 함께 긍정적으로 스트레스를 관리하는 적극적인 대처가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
