고압하에서 ZrH2에 대한 X-선 회절 연구 (An X-ray Diffraction Study on ZrH2 under High Pressures)

  • Polycrystalline ZrH2 in tetragonal crystal system has been compressed in a modified Bassett-type diamond anvil cell up to 36.0 GPa at room temperature. X-ray diffraction data did not indicate any phase transitions at the present pressure range. The pressure dependence of the a-axis, c-axis, c/a and molar volume of ZrH2 was determined at pressures up to 36.0 GPa. Assuming the pressure derivative of the bulk modulus (K0') to be 4.11 from an ultrasonic value on Zr, bulk modulus (K0) was determined to be 160Gpa by fitting the pressure-volume data to the Birch-Murnaghan equation of state. Same sample was heated at $500^{\circ}C$ at the pressure of 9.8 GPa in a modified Sung-type diamond anvil cell. Unloaded and quenched sample revealed that the original tetragonal structure transforms into a hexagonal structured phase with a zero-pressure molar volume change of ~115.5%.

  • Zinc oxide micro rods were fabricated using as chemical bath deposition ok photolithography. Vertically aligned Zinc Oxide rod array as grown by chemical bath deposition method on Zinc Oxide template layer. The ZnO template layer was deposited on glass and the pattering was made by standard photolithography technique. The selective growth of ZnO micro rods were achieved with the masked ZnO template layer substrate. The fabricated ZnO micro rods were found to be single crystalline and have grown along hexagonal c-axis direction of (0002) which is same as the preferred growth orientation of ZnO template layer. The ZnO micro-rod array structure was implemented as a window layer in Cu(InGa)Se2 solar cell and its effect on photovoltaic efficiency was examined.

LiNiO$_2$/Li cell의 전기화학적 특성 (Electrochemical Properties of LiNiO$_2$/Li cell)

  • The propose of this study is research and improvement of LiNiO$_2$as cathode material for Lithium secondary batteries. LiNiO$_2$is prepared by heating LiOH . $H_2O$ and Ni(OH)$_2$(mole ratio 1 : 1) on various heat condition. In the result of XRD mesurement, all LiNiO$_2$prepared at this study showed hexagonal structure. In Cyclic Voltammetry, LiNiO$_2$is not conspicous about oxidation peak but oxidation curve change steeply over 3.8V and reduction peak discover at 3.6V. In discharge capacities, specific capacity is higher $O_2$than air when preliminary heated and 75$0^{\circ}C$ than $700^{\circ}C$, 80$0^{\circ}C$ when heated. Therefore, when preliminary heat at $650^{\circ}C$ $O_2$and heat at 75$0^{\circ}C$ carried out, discharge property is the best.

  • 본 논문에서는 셀의 소형화와 무선 통신 서비스 이용 인구의 증가에 의해 발생하는 위치 등록 빈도의 증가를 해결할 수 있는 클러스터 개념을 이용한 위치 등록 프로토콜의 성능을 분석하였다. 클러스터 크기와 시간의 흐름에 따른 위치 등록 확률을 계산하여 클러스터 크기와 위치 등록율의 관계를 정량적으로 분석하였으며, 실제로 육각형 셀 구조에 적용하여 위치 등록 확률을 클러스터의 크기에 따라 구해 보고 시뮬레이션을 통해 이를 검증하였다.

  • An accurate prediction of the bypass flow is of great importance in the VHTR core design concerning the fuel thermal margin. Nevertheless, there has not been much effort in evaluating the amount and the distribution of the core bypass flow. In order to evaluate the behavior and the distribution of the coolant flow, a unit-cell experiment was carried out. Unit-cell is the regular triangular section which is formed by connecting the centers of three hexagonal blocks. Various conditions such as the inlet mass flow rate, block combinations and the size of bypass gap were examined in the experiment. CFD analysis was carried out to analyze detailed characteristics of the flow distribution. Commercial CFD code FLUENT 6.3 was validated by comparing with the experimental results. In addition, SST model and standard k-$\varepsilon$ model were validated. The results of CFD simulation show good agreements with the experimental results. SST model shows better agreement than standard k-$\varepsilon$ model. Results showed that block combinations and the size of the bypass gap have an influence on the bypass flow ratio but the inlet mass flow rate does not.

대용량 셀룰러 이동통신 시스팀에 있어 새로운 채널할당 알고리듬 (A New Algorithm for Frequency Channel Assignment in High Capacity Cellular Mobile Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 대용량 셀룰러 이동통신 시스템에 있어 새로운 채널할당 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 새로 제안된 채널할당 알고리듬은, 고정배치된 채널이 모두 사용중인 Cell에 요구된 Call의 서비스를, Idle한 채널이 있는 인접 Cell에서 대행하도록 하였으며, 채널의 순서적인 할당, 채널의 재할당 및 지향성 안테나의 사용등의 기법을 이용하였다. 49개의 Cell로 구성된 시스템에 본 알고리듬을 Simulation 한 결과 고정채널 할당방식에 비해 18~38%의 높은 채널이용율을 나타내었다.

  • 서비스 영역이 중심 셀로부터 3개의 궤도가 포함하고 있는 37개의 6각형 셀의 역방향 링크(이동체-기지국)에 대한 디지털 셀룰러 CDMA의 용량을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의하여 구하였다. 채널에는 shadow페이딩이 존재하며, 시스템은 이상적으로 전력제어가 이루어지고 있다고 가정하였다. 본 논문에서는 전파손실계수와 음성통화율 그리고 인접 셀의 통화량을 고려한 CDMA 시스템의 용량 평가를 통하여 CDMA 시스템의 용량은 전과손실계수가 증가하고 음성통화율이 감소함에 따라 증가하며 $\gamma=4일$ 때 아날로그 셀룰러 FM/FDMA와 디지털 셀룰러 TDMA의 용량에 비하여 각각 15배와 5배 가량 크며 인접하고 있는 셀의 통화량에 매우 민감하다는 결과를 얻었다.

태양전지용 CdSe 나노입자의 합성 (Preparation and Characterization of CdSe nanoparticle for Solar Cell application)

  • CdSe nanoparticles were prepared by chemical solution methods using $CdCl_2{\cdot}4H_2O$ (or $Cd(NO_3)_ 2{\cdot}4H_2O$) and $Na_2SeSO_3$. The characteristics of CdSe nanoparticles were controlled by the react ion time, reaction temperature and reaction method as well as the surfactants. Cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) was used as a capping agent to control the chemical reactions in aqueous solution. Polyvinylalcohol(PVA) was used as a templet in sono-chemical method. CdSe nanoparticles synthesized in aqueous solution showed homogeneous size distribution with relatively stable surface. CdSe nanoparticles synthesized in non-aqueous solution containing diethanolamine(DEA) showed the structure transformation from cubic to hexagonal as the reduction temperature increased from 80 to $160^{\circ}C$. Core shell CdSe was synthesized by sono-chemical method. Characteristics of CdSe nanoparticles were analyzed using transmission electron microscopy(TEM), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), x-ray diffraction(XRD), UV-Vis absorption spectra, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and photoluminescence spectra spectroscopy(PL). This paper presents simple routes to prepare CdSe nanoparticles for solar cell applications.

  • 리튬이온이차전지의 부극재로 사용되는 탄소재인 비정질 탄소(needle cokes)에 $B_2O_3$를 첨가하여 공기중의 질소 분위기와 Ar 분위기에서 고온으로 흑연화 열처리를 하였을 때의 표면미세구조의 변화와 제 2상의 분포를 투과전자현미경으로 분석하였다. 또한 전지용량, 전지효율과 같은 전지성능이 탄소재의 표면미세구조와 관련되어 있음을 고찰하였다.

Acoustic Estimation of Phase Velocity of Closed-Cell Kelvin Structure based on Spectral Phase Analysis

  • In this paper, the effect of porosity on the acoustic phase velocity of the 3D printed Kelvin closed-cell structure was investigated using the spectral phase analysis. Since Kelvin cells bring about the large amount of scattering, acoustic pulses in ultrasonic measurements undergoes a distortion of waveforms due to the dispersion effect. In order to take account on the dispersion, mathematical expressions for calculating the phase velocity of longitudinal waves propagating normal to the plane of the Kelvin structure are suggested by introducing a complex wave number based on Fourier transform. 3D Kelvin structure composed of identical unit-cells, a polyhedron of 14 faces with 6 quadrilateral and 8 hexagonal faces, was developed and fabricated by 3D CAD and 3D printer to represent the micro-structure of porous materials such as aluminum foam and cancellous bone. Total nine samples of 3D Kelvin structure with different porosity were made by changing the thickness of polyhedron. Ultrasonic pulse of 1MHz center frequency was applied to the Kelvin structures for the measurement of the phase velocity of ultrasound using the TOF(time-of-flight) and the phase spectral method. From the experimental results, it was found that the acoustic phase velocity decreased linearly with the porosity.
