  • A Military L-V-C system consists of distributed complex systems integrating Live systems working on physical wall-clock time, Virtual systems ruled by virtually pseudo realtime events on a computer, and Constructive systems only depending on the causal relationship between the continuous events. Recently many needs for L-V-C training systems are increasing in order to achieve the maximum training effects with low costs. While theoretical/logical researches or only partially interworking technologies have been proposed, there are few perfect interworking architectures for totally interoperating L-V-C systems in world-wide. In this paper, we design and develop a novel interworking architecture based on data centric middleware for the consistent global time with the same states on the entire L-V-C data and events by means of integrating the heterogeneous distributed middleware standards of each L-V-C system. In addition, simulated L-V-C systems based on real systems will be used for the efficiency and performance of the developed interworking architecture.

  • Background: Breast cancer is a common disorder in women, constituting one of the main causes of death all over the world. The purpose of this study was to determine the diagnostic value of the breast tissue diseases by the help of thermography. Materials and Methods: In this paper, we applied non-contact infrared camera, INFREC R500 for evaluating the capabilities of thermography. The study was conducted on 60 patients suspected of breast disease, who were referred to Imam Khomeini Imaging Center. Information obtained from the questionnaires and clinical examinations along with the obtained diagnostic results from ultrasound images, biopsies and thermography, were analyzed. The results indicated that the use of thermography as well as the asymmetry technique is useful in identifying hypoechoic as well as cystic masses. It should be noted that the patient should not suffer from breast discharge. Results: The accuracy of asymmetry technique identification is respectively 91/89% and 92/30%. Also the accuracy of the exact location of identification is on the 61/53% and 75%. The approach also proved effective in identifying heterogeneous lesions, fibroadenomas, and intraductal masses, but not ISO-echoes and calcified masses. Conclusions: According to the results of the investigation, thermography may be useful in the initial screening and supplementation of diagnostic procedures due to its safety (its non-radiation properties), low cost and the good recognition of breast tissue disease.

  • This paper investigates a design of optimization database structure layout of Message Oriented Analysis and Management Tool (MOMAT) for naval combat systems (NCS). The NCS is composed of heterogeneous and large-scale component such as communication service and data distribution servcies (DDS). Each components are massively made the data as components. To manage the messages, MOMAT is developed. Typical modeling tool have problems that low performance due to duplicate database tables. An efficient design that one of the database optimization is proposed to solve the problems in this paper. It reduces the number of tables and improves application response and processing time. Experiment results shows that an availability of proposed method in MOMAT and decrease of both amount of data from client node to server and sever load.

  • Wireless Mesh Networks are consist of mobility mesh clients and mesh routers. WMNs can communicate with heterogeneous networks such as IEEE 802.11, IEEE 802.15, IEEE 802.16 and sensor networks. WMNs which is based on ad hoc network are on research and developing to enhance WLANs, WPANs, or WMANs. WMNs can offer environment to serve human, service to person area, campus, and metro. But WMNs has many problems to solve about enhancing performance and generalization. Among them, Existing protocol layers has many problems enhancing to optimize WMNs. This document issues problems about WMNs in protocol layer and suggest the solutions. Also, suggests the requirements and the methods of QoS supporting issue.

  • In an environment of home network where a number of technologies including heterogeneous hardware platforms, networking and protocols, middleware systems, and etc, exist, OSGi provides a platform for deployment and sharing of services managed in hardware and guarantees compatibility among applications. However, only simple control and processing of event data are considered in a home network using OSGi, and the consideration about real time processing of data stream generated by sensors is not enough. Therefore, researches allowing users to effectively develop OSGi applications by using various kinds of sensors generating data streams in the home network environment using OSGi are needed. In this paper, we propose an effective method of processing various types of real time data streams supplied to OSGi applications, including filtering, grouping, and counting, etc.

  • Cloud services are services developed to serve a wider variety of users in different fields. However, although cloud services are designed to reflect the needs of different users, a variety of security damages resulting from them are increasing and technologies are needed to address them. This paper proposes a user signature management model that prevents third parties from exploiting the user's signature in a heterogeneous cloud The proposed model strengthens the functionality of the intermediate devices that make up the hierarchical cloud while also managing the signature information of the partitioned user. As a result of the performance assessment, the proposed model not only distributed user signature management, but also improved efficiency by 8.5% on average because intermediate devices distributed user signature processing, and reduced the user's signature latency by 13.3% on average when performing user authentication processing. On average, the overhead generated by intermediate devices processing a user's signature was 10.1 percent lower than that of conventional techniques.

  • With the advent of Ubiquitous environment, wired-wireless combination network is being studied very actively in which mobile nodes having multi-hop communication capability connect wired internet network easily, and shares the information. The study of wired and wireless combination network between MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) and wired network is being focused only on the configuration of heterogeneous network interface. The proposed algorithm establishes independent multi-paths between source node and destination node to prevent data loss when errors happen in route. As the result, it shows that the reliability of the combination network can be improved by making data transmit continuously on the route error.

  • Recently fast innovation of Internet technology causes lot of application to change into web application and requirement for the inter-operable communication among various systems are increased rapidly. These trends are part of changes which is caused by ubiquitous world and it is just beginning of huge waves that is required to fit and change under the ubiquitous environments. This thesis is focused on the Design and Implementation of Layer Structured Components which can be interfaced effectively for the Material Management System under the Heterogeneous Client Server Environments. The key points to do that kinds of affairs are using XML web services that can communicate thru systems and also using independent layered components for the enforcement of reusability and inter-operability. For the various type of testing of implementation, we used RFID System, PDA, Desktop Systems and confirmed the normal operation without concerning the type of client system and platforms. The Components proposed in this thesis could be reused effectively in case of developing similar applications.

  • In this paper, we propose the interference probability according to distance between mobile stations and the maximal power of interfering transmitter as parameters which are used for analysis to co-exist in co-channel of different systems. In order to analyze interfering between each systems, we consider two cases. First, WiBro is an interfering transmitter and WLAN is a victim receiver. Second, WLAN is an interfering transmitter and WiBro is a victim receiver. When the interfering transmitter is WiBro or WLAN, interference probability according to distance between systems is analyzed by setting transmit power of 25 and 23 dBm, respectively. Analyzed coexistence results under various co-use scenarios may be widely applied into the technique developed to get the coexisting condition for wireless devices using many communication protocols in same frequency.

  • Over the past few years, a number of studies have been made on web map services which enable the GIS user to access spatial data through the web. They, however. have focused on only implementation techniques separately, such at map client implementation map server implementation, communication between client and server, and the map data representation. Therefore, it is hard to share and practical use the spatial data, because they does not ensure interoperability in heterogeneous map servers. In this paper, In this paper, we have designed and implemented the web map server with open architecture. which complies with the standard interfaces proposed by OpenGIS Consortium (OGC). In particular, we have extended the OGC's Interfaces for a map server to support one or more data sources. This paper has contributed to construction and practical use of web map services by newly proposing the method of implementation of a map server. which could be reused regardless of the types of data sources.
