3차원 위치좌표를 이용한 대형 구조물 양중을 위한 계측 - 평가 시스템 (Monitoring-Evaluation System for Lifting Heavy Structures using 3D Location Data)

  • 일반적으로 대형 지붕구조나 초대형 보와 같은 대형 구조물을 양중하는 방법은 유압잭이 이용된다. 또한, 양중시 안전을 위하여 CCTV를 이용하여 각 포인트에 설치된 줄자를 모니터링하여 레벨체크를 수행하고, 상대 변위가 기설정된 한계를 벗어나면 유압잭을 정지하고 상대변위를 수동으로 조정한 후에 양중을 수행하였다. 그러나, 이러한 종래의 양중 방법은 CCTV를 육안으로 확인하여 레벨을 체크하기 때문에 정확도가 높지 않았고, 실시간 계측은 현실적으로 불가능하였다. 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위하여 자동추적형 토탈스테이션, 레이저 거리계, 데이터로거, 변형도게이지 등을 이용하여 대형 구조물 양중시 적용할 수 있는 계측-평가 시스템 구축하였다. 시스템을 구현하기 위한 프로그램 작성 후 실험실에서 시연을 통해 계측-평가 데이터의 정확성 및 활용 가능성을 평가하였으며, 안정적인 데이터 취득 및 연산을 통해 적용성이 검증되었다.

  • Many production methods are tried to enhance the productivity efficiency. Parallel connected floating cranes are one of the examples to lift mega-blocks quickly and efficiently. However, a general operation manual to operate parallel connected floating cranes and a method to consider risks during lifting operation are not confirmed. And if each floating crane is operated by itself, it is very hard to cooperate. Therefore, Synchronized operation system is installed to control parallel connected floating cranes simultaneously and to be informed of each floating cranes data. And weighting factor is calculated by considering all hazards during the operation and the general operation manual is confirmed based on the factor. This paper introduces the procedure for lifting operations by parallel Connected Floating Cranes using synchronized operation system, and its applications to lifting operation of a heavy cargo such as barge lifting test, floating dock installation and 900 ton goliath crane replacement operation, etc.

영동과 영서 호우의 특성 비교 (Comparison of the Properties of Yeongdong and Yeongseo Heavy Rain)

  • Heavy rain over the Gangwon region has distinct characteristics in the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall, most of which are concentrated on a very short period of time and either part of Yeongdong and Yeongseo regions. According to its regional distribution, heavy rain events over the Gangwon region may be classified into Yeongdong and Yeongseo heavy rain in which rainfalls of more than 110 mm $(6 hrs)^{-1}$ (heavy rain warning) have been observed in at least one of the weather stations over only Yeongdong or Yeongseo region, but over the other region the rainfalls are less than 70 mm $(6 hrs)^{-1}$ (heavy rain advisory). To differentiate between Yeongdong and Yeongseo heavy rain, 9 cases for Yeongdong heavy rain and 8 cases for Yeongseo heavy rain are examined on their synoptic and mesoscale environments using some meteorological parameters and ingredients. In addition, 8 cases are examined in which heavy rain warning or advisory are issued in both Yeongdong and Yeongseo regions. The cases for each heavy rain type have shown largely similar features in some meteorological parameters and ingredients. Based on an ingredient analysis, there are three common and basic ingredients for the three heavy rain types: instability, moisture, and lift. However, it is found that the distinct and important process producing strong upward vertical motions may discriminate among three heavy rain types very well. Yeongdong heavy rain is characterized by strong orographic lifting, Yeongseo heavy rain by high instability (high CAPE), and heavy rain over both regions by strong synoptic-scale ascent (strong 850 hPa Q-Vector convergence, diagnostics for ascent). These ingredients and diagnostics for the ingredients can be used to forecasting the potential for regional heavy rain. And also by knowing which of ingredients is important for each heavy rain type, forecasters can concentrate on only a few ingredients from numerous diagnostic and prognostic products for forecasting heavy rain events.

Paraplegia due to Spinal Cord Infarction After Lifting Heavy Objects

  • Spinal cord infarction is uncommon and usually presents with sudden onset of motor and sensory disturbances. We report a case of a 64-year-old women without previous medical history, who presented with acute onset of paraplegia after lifting. However, radiologic examinations did not show any abnormal lesion in the spinal cord. And, cerebrospinal fluid studies also showed no remarkable findings. This case illustrates the cause of spontaneous paraplegia after lifting injury and we consider the presumptive cause of paraplegia as spinal cord infarction.

  • A welding process of a lifting lug for lifting heavy objects is one of the important welding processes directly related to the safety in shipbuilding. Welding a lifting lug is done in the manually and takes about forty minutes. Working environment for the lifting lug welding is very poor due to an radiant heat and a harmful fume. The purpose of this study is to develop methods of multi-pass welding using the lifting lug welding robot system. This study shows robot welding methods to achieve proper corner, straight and connection welding and an effectiveness of application.

들기 작업시 중량물의 비대칭 무게중심 및 상체 옆으로 기울임에 따른 허리근육의 Peak EMG 진폭 비교 (Comparison of Peak EMG Amplitude on Low Back Muscles according to Asymmetric Load Center of Gravity and Trunk Lateral Bending while Lifting)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중량물 들기 작업시 비대칭 무게중심과 상체 옆으로 기울임 여부가 어떻게 L5/S1 주변 허리 근육의 Peak EMG 진폭에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 요통을 포함한 근골격계질환은 무겁지 않은 물체의 지속적인 반복 취급뿐만 아니라, 일회성의 커다란 부하도 신체 조직의 부담으로 작용하여 발생할 수 있다. 11명의 20대 대학생 남성은 15.8kg의 물체를 들어올리는 Task를 3회 실행하였다. 이 때 대칭 무게중심의 물체를 상체를 기울이지 않고 들어 올리는 경우, 비대칭 무게중심의 물체를 상체를 기울이지 않고 들어 올리는 조건, 그리고 비대칭 무게중심의 물체를 상체를 기울여서 들어 올리는 경우에 따라 6개의 L5/S1 주변의 근육들로부터 Peak EMG 진폭이 수집되어 분석되었다. 결과는 비대칭 무게중심을 지닌 물체 취급시 무게중심에서 먼 쪽의 허리 근육에서 Peak EMG 진폭이 발생하고, 그 진폭의 크기는 대칭 무게중심 물체를 취급하는 경우보다 크게 나타났다. 또한, 비대칭 무게중심의 물체를 취급할 경우 물체나 상체를 물체의 무게중심 방향으로 기울이는 것은 기울이지 않을 때보다 대측성 등근육에서 Peak EMG 진폭 증가시켰다. 이러한 연구 결과는 비대칭 무게중심의 중량물을 들어 올리는 작업에서 요통 발생을 예방하기 위한 행정적인 조치로써 가능하면 상체를 전두면 기준으로 기울이지 않는 작업자 자세 조언이 필요함을 말해준다.

Event-based scenario manager for multibody dynamics simulation of heavy load lifting operations in shipyards

  • This paper suggests an event-based scenario manager capable of creating and editing a scenario for shipbuilding process simulation based on multibody dynamics. To configure various situation in shipyards and easily connect with multibody dynamics, the proposed method has two main concepts: an Actor and an Action List. The Actor represents the anatomic unit of action in the multibody dynamics and can be connected to a specific component of the dynamics kernel such as the body and joint. The user can make a scenario up by combining the actors. The Action List contains information for arranging and executing the actors. Since the shipbuilding process is a kind of event-based sequence, all simulation models were configured using Discrete EVent System Specification (DEVS) formalism. The proposed method was applied to simulations of various operations in shipyards such as lifting and erection of a block and heavy load lifting operation using multiple cranes.

가혹하중이 작용하는 경우의 굴삭기 연결부의 반력계산 (Evaluation of Joint Reaction Forces for a Hydraulic Excavator Subjected to a Critical Load)

  • This paper presents a three dimensional modeling and dynamic anlaysis of a hydraulic excavator. An excavator is composed of a ground, an under-frame, two idlers, two spockets, an upper-frame, a boom, an arm, a bucket two yokes, two connecting rods, two boom cylinders, an arm cylinder, and a bucket cylinder. Each cylinder is modeled with two separate bodies which are linked to each other by a translational joint. The three dimensioanl model of the excavator consists of 22 bodies and each body is assumed as rigid. This paper suggested the maximum lifting capability, a critical load and reaction forces at joints form the DADS simulation. It was presumed that the reaction forces due to a critical load are three times bigger than those due to the maximum lifting capacity.

병원 환자 운반 업무의 작업 부하 분석 및 개선 방안 (Workload of Patients Transferring and its Improving Methods)

  • Nursing often requires heavy physical work activities such as lifting heavy loads, working in awkward postures, transferring patients, operating hazardous equipment, etc. Among various nursing tasks, patients transferring is one of the most physically demanding tasks. This study aims to investigate workload of the patients transferring, and to propose its improving methods for reducing high workload. The results showed that irrespective of methods for patients transferring and the number of workers involved, workload for most patients transferring tasks exceeded the action limit represented in terms of L5/SI compressive force of 3,400N or LI of 1.0 by NIOSH. The loads for some tasks were far larger than the maximum permissible limit of 6,400N. It is recommended that the mechanical devices for transferring patients such as ceiling crane, sling lift etc. should be introduced rather than simply increasing the number of workers in the tasks.
