동대문 운동장(야구장) 발파해체 시험시공 사례 (A Case Study on Explosives Demolition of the Dongdaemoon Complex Stadium(Baseball field) in Republic of Korea)

  • 동대문 운동장의 노화된 시설물을 철거하고 "디자인 플라자"라는 국제적인 공원으로 거듭나기 위해 기존의 구조물을 철거하여야 한다. 동대문 야구장은 기둥과 보로 이루어진 라멘 구조로서 관람을 위한 스탠드를 확보하기 위하여 앞쪽과 뒤쪽 기둥의 높이가 다른 특수한 형식의 구조로 이루어져 있다. 관람을 위한 외야석 스탠드는 특성상 아치 형상으로 되어 있고, 슬래브는 일반적인 구조물처럼 평탄하지 않고 관람을 위하여 계단형식으로 기울어져 있다. 기계식 철거를 적용하기 위하여 중장비를 슬래브 위에서 압쇄를 할 때는 자리확보가 곤란하고 안전성 확보가 어렵다. 지반에서 대형 장비를 이용한 압쇄철거공법 적용 시에는 스탠드 높이가 높아 압쇄를 할 수 있는 높이까지 지반에 성토를 한 후 압쇄를 하여야 함으로 공사비용과 공사기간이 증가하는 문제점이 예상되었다. 따라서 실시설계단계부터 이를 고려하여 기계식 철거공법과 발파해체 공법을 복합적으로 적용하였다. 발파해체 결과 붕괴 거동의 안전성 확보와 발파공해에 대하여 제어가 가능한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 도심지내에서 발파해체 적용 가능성을 보여주는 사례가 되었다고 판단된다.

우리나라 사업장의 작업환경측정 및 노출기준 초과실태 분석 (Analysis of Overviews of Working Environment Measurement and its Results in Korean Industry)

  • The subject of this study was to analyse overviews of companies which exceed TLV by industry, hazardous factors, and to estimate the numbers of companies measured in 1993 and the implementation rate of working environment measurement by the act of industrial safety and health The result of this study was as follow. 1. The number of cases which exceed TLV was 5,937 companies. In distribution of excess companies by the scale of workers, small scale cases under the 49 workers were 3,150 companies(53.0%) of total cases, medium scale cases between 50 - 299 workers were 2,248 companies(37.9%), and large scale cases over 300 workers were 539 companies(9.1%). By the industry of excess companies, it was marked high rate in manufacture of fabricared metal products(except machinary and equipment), manufacture of textiles of each 1,048 companies(17.7%), and 1,018 companies(17.1%). By the area of excess companies, it was shown high rate in Kyeongki area marked 1,679 companies(28.3%) and Daegu-Kyeongbuk area were marked 1,417 companies (23.9%). By the hazardous factors of excess companies, noise was recorded high rate in 5,160 companies (86.9%), dust was shown in 1,245 companies(21.0%), organic solvent was marked 130 companies(7.9%). The number of excess factors by the company was 1.2. In this result, the more it was bigger scale companies, the more excess factors were much more and the more it was recorded higher rate in noise organic solvent heavy metals, etc. 2. The measured cases in institutes during 1994 were 1,596 companies, and excess cases were 157 companies(9.8%) among them. By the scale of workers, small scale cases under the 49 workers were 190 companies (17.9%) among 1,064 companies, cases of medium scale cases between 50-299 workers were 127 companies (27.9%) among 463 companies, and large scale cases over 300 workers were 31 companies(44.9%) among 69 companies. In this result industry of the highest rate shown was manufacture of basic metals in 20 companies exceeded among 53 companies (37.7%), and was manufacture of pulp, paper production in 14 companies exceeded among 40 companies(35.0%), and the excess rate were high in bigger scale. 3. Companies estimated by the data of excess cases and excess rate in 1993 were 30,474 implementation rate estimated for measurement of working environment was 34.3% of companies in korean industry. In this result, it was comparatively shown of measurement rate for the working environment in manufacture of pulp, paper product, manufacture of machinary and equipment n.e.c., and of high measurement rate and excess rate in manufacture of electrial machinary and apparatus, and manufacture of basic metals.

피스톤 크라운용 단강에 인코넬 718 용접재료로 용접된 용접부의 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Characteristics of Welding Zones Welded with Inconel 718 Filler Metal to Piston Crown Forged Material)

  • The combustion chamber of a diesel engine is often exposed to a more serious wear and corrosion environment than other parts of the engine because its temperature increases as a result of using heavy oil of low quality. Therefore, repair and built-up welding methods must be performed on worn or corroded parts of the piston crown, exhaust valve, etc. from an economical point of view. In this study, Inconel 718 filler metal was used in repair welding on the groove of a forged steel specimen for a piston crown, along with built-up welding on the surface of another forged steel specimen. Then, the corrosion characteristics of the weld metal zone for the repair welding and the deposited metal zone for the built-up welding were investigated using electrochemical methods in a 35% H2SO4 solution. The deposited metal zone indicated better corrosion resistance than the weld metal zone, showing a nobler corrosion potential, higher impedance, and smaller corrosion current density. It is considered that metal elements with good corrosion resistance were generally included in the filler metal, and these elements were also greatly involved in the deposited meta by built-up welding, whereas the weld metal consisted of metal elements mixed with both the filler metal and base metal elements because of the molten pool produced by the repair welding. Finally, it is considered that the hardness of the weld metal was increased by the repair welding, whereas the built-up welding improved the corrosion resistance of the deposited metal.

건조법에 따른 커피박 고형연료의 특성 고찰 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Coffee Ground(CG)-RDF by Using Different Drying Method)

  • 본 연구는 커피박을 열풍건조와 유중건조 방법을 통해 고형연료로 제조하여 특성고찰을 진행하였다. 그리고 각 건조시료의 발열량 차이를 비교였다. 그리고 열중량분석기를 이용한 공업분석법이 유기성 폐기물 및 유중처리 시료에 적용 여부를 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 로 내부를 $N_2$ 분위기에서 $100^{\circ}C$까지 가열한 후 180분 동안 유지한다. 그 후 $100^{\circ}C$에서 $950^{\circ}C$까지 가열하고 $950^{\circ}C$에서 7분 동안 유지한다. 이후 $600^{\circ}C$로 냉각하고 로 내부를 $O_2$ 분위기로 전환한다. 그리고 $815^{\circ}C$에서 30분 내 외로 온도를 유지하는 것이 적당하다. 다음으로 건조 전과 후 시료의 표면을 SEM장비로 관찰하였고 EDS 장비를 통해 성분을 측정하였다. 그 결과 중금속과 같은 기타 유해성분은 측정되지 않았다. 그리고 열중량분석기를 통해 TG와 DTG 곡선을 얻었고 이를 통해 열분해와 연소반응의 차이점을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 유중건조 된 커피박이 열풍건조 된 커피박 보다 착화 시간이 긴 것으로 보인다. 마지막으로, 열중량분석기에서 배출되는 연소가스를 포집하여 시간에 따른 CO와 $CO_2$ 농도를 GC를 이용하여 정성 및 정량분석 하였다.

지휘무장통제체계용 UPS 배터리의 안전성 확보방안 연구 (A Study on the application method of UPS's Battery Safety for battleship Command and Fire Control System)

  • 해군 함정에는 특수목적을 수행하기 위해 구성되어있는 시스템이 있다. 그 중에는 지휘무장통제체계(CFCS : Command and Fire Control System, 이하 CFCS)가 존재하며 이를 운용하기 위해 요구사항에 맞는 장비가 개발된다. 특히 이러한 장비들 중 일부는 함정의 발전기 문제나 기타 예기치 못한 상황에서 정전이 발생하더라도, 운용 지속성 및 중요한 자료를 백업할 수 있도록 무정전전원공급장치 (UPS : Uninterruptible Power System, 이하 UPS)를 적용해야한다. 만약 이를 충족하지 못할 경우 전력손실로 이어진다. 그러므로, 우리는 안정적인 UPS가 적용될 수 있도록 방안을 강구해야한다. 안정적인 UPS를 설계하기 위해 배터리와 배터리관리시스템 (BMS : Battery Management System, 이하 BMS)은 중요한 요소가 된다. 만약 이러한 배터리와 BMS가 불안정하게 되면 전원문제가 발생할 경우 중요한 전술 정보가 손실되거나 전투체계 수행업무를 정상적으로 할 수 없게 되므로 큰 전력 공백이 발생한다. 즉, 본 시스템의 안전성 확보가 필수적이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 CFCS에 적합한 UPS 개선을 위해 배터리 비교분석, 주요회로 누설전류 분석, 내환경성 시험을 토대로 개선된 시스템을 구현 및 검증하였다.

이중확장칼만필터(DEKF)를 기반한 건설장비용 리튬이온전지의 State of Charge(SOC) 및 State of Health(SOH) 추정 (State of Health and State of Charge Estimation of Li-ion Battery for Construction Equipment based on Dual Extended Kalman Filter)

  • 전기자동차와 신재생에너지에 관한 관심이 높아지면서 건설장비 산업분야에서도 리튬이온 배터리를 접목하려는 요구가 높아지고 있다. 건설중장비는 건설 현장의 다양한 작업으로 인해 전류 용량의 감소가 급속히 진행되기 때문에 SOC(State of Charge) 및 SOH(State of Health) 같은 배터리의 상태를 더욱 정확하게 추정할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 SOC와 SOH를 동시에 추정이 가능한 적응제어 기법 기반 이중확장칼만필터(Dual Extended Kalman Filter, DEKF) 알고리즘을 이용하여 실제 측정데이터와의 오차를 비교하였다. 배터리 충전 상태 예측을 위해 배터리 셀을 완전 충전 후 0.2C-rate조건에서 SOC 5% 간격으로 OCV를 측정하였고, 배터리의 열화를 판단할 수 있는 건전성 지표 확보를 위해 다양한 C-rate(0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5C rate) 조건에서 50 Cycle 동안 노화 실험을 수행하였다. DEKF를 이용한 SOC 및 SOH 추정 오차는 C-rate이 커질수록 커지는 경향을 보였으며 특히 SOC 추정결과, 0.2, 0.5 및 1C-rate에서 6%이하로 나타남을 확인하였다. 또한 SOH 추정 결과는 0.2 와 0.3C-rate에서 각각 최대오차 1.0% 및 1.3% 이내로 좋은 성능을 보이는 것으로 확인하였다. 다만, C-rate가 0.5C-rate에서 1.5C-rate으로 증가함에 따라 추정오차도 1.5%에서 2%로 다소 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으나, 모든 C-rate 조건에서 DEKF를 사용한 SOH의 추정 성능은 약 2% 이내인 것으로 나타났다.

건축공사의 공정관리를 위한 타워크레인 양중 효율성 분석 (Efficiency Analysis of Tower Crane Lifting Work for Project Management of Construction)

  • 현재 빌딩 건설 프로젝트의 규모가 점점 더 커지고 있다. 이에 따라 다른 양중 장비보다 생산성이 높은 타워크레인 사용이 지속적인 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 무거운 물건을 운반하는 장비는 임대료가 비싸고 비효율적으로 운영되고 있으며 양중 작업의 생산성 및 효율성이 저하된다는 문제가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우선 현장에서 비효율적으로 운영되는 타워크레인을 조사한 후 타워크레인 작업에 영향을 미치는 항목들에 대한 점검 목록을 작성했다. 그 후 현장 방문을 통해 타워 크레인 점검표를 종합적인 데이터 가치로 도출했다.

The Development of the ±80kV 60MW HVDC System in Korea

  • HVDC transmission systems can be configured in many ways to take into account cost, flexibility and operational requirements. [1] For long-distance transmission, HVDC systems may be less expensive and suffer lower electrical losses. For underwater power cables, HVDC avoids the heavy currents required to charge and discharge the cable capacitance of each cycle. For shorter distances, the higher cost of DC conversion equipment compared to an AC system may still be warranted, due to other benefits of direct current links. HVDC allows power transmission between unsynchronized AC transmission systems. Since the power flow through an HVDC link can be controlled independently of the phase angle between the source and the load, it can stabilize a network against disturbances due to rapid changes in power. HVDC also allows the transfer of power between grid systems running at different frequencies, such as 50 Hz and 60 Hz. This improves the stability and economy of each grid, by allowing the exchange of power between incompatible networks. This paper proposed to establish Korean HVDC technology through a cooperative agreement between KEPCO and LSIS in 2010. During the first stage (2012), a design of the ${\pm}80kV$ 60MW HVDC bipole system was created by both KEPCO and LSIS. The HVDC system was constructed and an operation test was completed in December 2012. During the second stage, the pole#2 system was fully replaced with components that LSIS had recently developed. LSIS also successfully completed the operation test. (2014.3)

농작업 부하 데이터를 활용한 80 kW급 전기구동 AWD 트랙터의 시뮬레이션 모델 개발 (Development of a Simulation Model for an 80 kW-class Electric All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) Tractor using Agricultural Workload)

  • The aim of this study is to design a simulation model for an electric All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) tractor to evaluate the performance of the selected component and agricultural work ability. The electric AWD tractor consists of four motors independently for each drive wheel, and each motor is combined with an engine generator, a battery pack, and reducers. The torque data of a 78 kW-class tractor was measured during plow tillage and driving operation to develop a workload cycle. A simulation model was developed by using commercial software, Simulation X, and it used the workload as the simulation condition. As a result of simulation analysis, the drive system, including an electric motor and reducers, was able to cope with high load during plow tillage. The SOC (State of Charge) level was influenced by the output power of the motor, and it was maintained in the range of 50~80%. The fuel consumed by the engine was about 18.23 L during working on a total of 8 fields. The electric AWD tractor was able to perform agricultural work for about 7 hours. In the future study, the electric AWD tractor will be developed reflecting the simulation condition. Research on the comparison between the simulation model and the electric AWD tractor should be performed.

FLNG개념설계 단계에서 SMR 및 DMR 액화공정의 잠재적 폭발위험도 비교 (Potential Explosion Risk Comparison between SMR and DMR Liquefaction Processes at Conceptual Design Stage of FLNG)

  • An FLNG (floating liquefied natural gas) or LNG FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) unit is a notable offshore unit with the increasing demand for LNG. The liquefaction process on an FLNG unit is the most important process because it determines the economic feasibility, but would be a hazard source because of the large quantity of hydrocarbons. While a high efficiency process such as C3MR has been preferred for onshore liquefaction processes, a relatively simple process such as the SMR (single mixed refrigerant) or DMR (dual mixed refrigerant) liquefaction process has been selected for offshore units because they require a more compact size, lighter weight, and higher safety due to their space limitation for facilities and long distance from shore. It is known that an SMR has the advantages of a simple configuration, small footprint, and lower risk. However, with an increased production rate, the inherent safety of SMR needs to be evaluated because of its small train capacity. In this study, the potential explosion risks of the SMR and DMR liquefaction processes were evaluated at the conceptual design stage. The results showed that an SMR has a lower overpressure than a DMR at the same frequency, only with a small production capacity of 0.9 MTPA. With increased capacity, the overpressure of the SMR was higher than that of the DMR. The increased number of trains increased the frequency in spite of the small amount of equipment per train. This showed that the inherent risk of an SMR is not always lower than that of a DMR, and an additional risk management strategy is recommended when an SMR is selected as the concept for an FLNG liquefaction process compared to the DMR liquefaction process.
