Two sample varieties of Yushin and Jinheung were used for the experiment in low-level wetty paddy field which was arranged with PVC pipe underdrainage of 6m in distance and 60cm, 90cm, and 120cm in depth and control, using sprit plot design with three replications. On the yield of brown rice, Yushin was increased by 24.8% in the 90cm plot and Jinheung by 16.7% in the 120cm plot, respectively, over the control. The ratio of matured grains of these two varieties was increased significantly by the underdrainage and the number of grains per head of Yushin was also increased in drained plots. Otherwise, the underdrainage enhanced the plant height in the early growth of rice plant and further increased the culm height and panicle length. It seemed that these results might enhance the light-receiving effciency in the latter growth of rice plant and bring about the effect fo increased yields by the underdrainage.
Trichophyton(T.) tonsurans has been identified for the first time in Korea in 1995 and has been increasing in number of reported in wrestlers, in judo players, and in korean - style wrestlers. Author tried mycological studies with T. tonsurans is isolated in Daegu Korea. The results are as follows: All 16 strains of T. tonsurans tested for nutritional requirement, showed strongly stimulated growth by thiamine, mild to moderate growth on casamino acid agar, poor growth on ammonium nitrates base agar. All 16 strains of T. tonsurans tested showed positive results for hair perforation and urease test. Gross findings of T. tonsurans showed that fine granular surface with light yellow hue or white color and mahogany brown color on the reverse side. Microscopic findings showed that septated hyphae, chlamydoconidia and microcondia. Microconidia were characteristic in their arrangerment and shape : round or oval shaped microconidia laterally to hyphae, some were match - head like terminal swelling.
The effect of Ligand Binding energy in quantum rod (CdS/ZnS) plays a critical role in anisotropic growth. As mimicking large chain of ligands and using the head of the chain, I plan to bind the quantum rod and ligands so that it can grow well consequently. So the ultimate goal of this study is on how ligand binding can affect the growth of this quantum rod. There are preferred surfaces between the quantum rod and ligands, and we empirically know that ligands which bind the quantum rod; Phosphoric oxide (PO), Phosphoric acid(PA), Carboxylic acid(CA), Trimethylamine(TMA), have strong tendency to be attached on the surfaces of CdS/ZnS; ($11{\bar{2}}0$), ($10{\bar{1}}0$), ($000{\bar{1}}$), (0001). I virtually bond the surface and the ligands, and calculated the ligand binding energy after optimizing their structure, utilizing EDISON simulator. After all, I figured out how they are linked each other and how the quantum rod grows.
Lipomas make up $4{\sim}5%$ of all benign tumors in the body and are most often located on shoulders and backs. Neck lipomas are often developed in the subcutaneous tissues of the posterior neck, Most lipomas have slow growth rate and the recurrence is very rare after surgical excision because of well-defined border. But lipoma originated from muscles(intramuscular and intermuscular lipoma), so called infiltrating lipoma, has ill-defined border and little or no evidence of encapsulation. Histologically the feature of infiltrating lipoma is distinctive. There is a consistent infiltration with dissociation of the surrounding muscle fibers. The overall recurrence rate is less than 5%, but rises to 62.5% when deep infiltrating lipomas are considered separately. Thus infiltrating lipoma is best excised with a margin of normal muscle to avoid recurrence. Its location in the head and neck is uncommon. 18 cases of infiltrating lipoma in the head and neck has been reported to date. Here we report a case of infiltrating lipoma that arises in the head and neck muscle with a review of the literature on the subject.

In this study, we have evaluated the physical characteristics of neonate, female, and male Mongolian racerunners (Eremias argus) and determined the age structure of a population of the species in a field located in Taean-gun, Chungnam, South Korea. The physical parameters of females and males, including snout-vent length (SVL), head length, head width, and body mass were found to be significantly interrelated. Male Mongolian racerunners exhibited significantly longer heads than the females, but other physical parameters, such as SVL, head width, and body mass did not differ between the female and male specimens. In the study population, the females ranged in age from two to eleven years old and the males ranged between two to eight years of age. The number of females and males, when separated into different age classes, did not differ within each age class. Male Mongolian racerunners evidenced greater SVL growth coefficients than the females, but asymptotic SVL did not differ between the females and males.
The aim of this experiment is to establish the method that obtains symmetrically two nuggets in microresistance series spot welding. The sheets of austenite stainless steel STS304 applied to various electronic parts were experimented by the inverter welding power source of polarity controllable type and by the twin head for left and right electrode force to be controlled separately. The experimental results were obtained as follows : 1) When series spot welding was carried out by DC 1 pulse as welding current with same electrode force at left and right, the asymmetry of nuggets was resulted from the larger nugget of the (-) pole because of the Peltier effect. The dynamic resistance of weld spot at left and right was appeared differently according to the growth of nuggets. 2) When AC 1 cycle by welding power source of polarity controllable type was applied, the nuggets were almost symmetrically formed. 3) In a twin head, if the electrode force of (-) pole was larger than that of (+) pole, the diameters of two nuggets became to same. It was confirmed that the dynamic resistance of (-) pole was decreased to the same level as it of (+) pole. 4) Although the forces of left and right electrode were same, and only DC 1 pulse was applied, symmetric nuggets were obtained if the conductivity of (+) pole was lower than it of (-) pole.
Sixtyfour Baluchi lambs about 5 months of age were divided into four groups with 16 lambs each. All the animals were grazed together. Group No.1 (G-1) was kept as control i.e. on grazing only; while group No. 2 (G-2) was offered barley grain @ 200 g/head/day as supplement to grazing; Group No. 3 (G-3) was offered ad-lib urea-molasses block (UMB) with 6% cement and group No.4 (G-4) was fed ad-lib IMB having 8% cement. These UMB were fed as supplement to grazing. Experiment lasted for 105 days (July to October) in arid zone of Baluchistan. Daily per head consumption of block No.1 was found to be 92.71 g; while that of block No.2 was observed to be 90.77 g. Growth rate (g/head/day) was found to be 10, 50, 33 and 15 in G-1, G-2, G-3 and G-4 respectively. Expenditure/kg bodyweight gain was found to be rupees 12.00, 3.64 and 7.74 for G-2, G-3 and G-4 respectively.

Spindle epithelial tumor with thymus-like differentiation (SETTLE) is an extremely rare type of thyroid tumor, with spares reports on its clinical course. SETTLE is derived from branchial pouch or thymic remnants, and classified as a low grade, malignant neoplasm due to its indolent growth and tendency to develop delayed metastasis. Therefore, stringent initial workups and long-term follow-up are required to prevent misdiagnosis. We present a case of recurrent spindle epithelial tumor with thymus-like differentiation (SETTLE) in the glottis of 57 year-old male patient, who had a history of surgical excision for the SETTLE from the thyroid gland 5 years ago. Transoral CO2 laser surgery was performed to remove the glottic tumor and there was no evidence of local recurrence at 11 months postoperatively.
The pattern of a dance had changed and made a progress delicately according to the change of the myth, religion, and civilization. One genre which had experienced the change for the dance is a mask dance. This dance started from wishes to adore spirit or god with imitated masks of native animals and desire to identify with nature. After the middle ages, it finally became to approach to the artistic state. In that dance, there was used a role of the head of the family which was strongly adapted to the shape of the mask as performing casts After studying symbolic characteristics of the mask dancing, we could conclude these as fol1ows.: First, Masks symbolized the totemism that adores spirit or god. This kind of whole masks were consistently used. Second, Mask was worn for expressing a dancer's cast well. This function of performing cast was in the primitive ages. However at the age which was characterized as the age of the art, the expression of using a mask became various. Third, Mask was mostly related to the head of the family and appeared with the desire to be others not themselves. Since the middle ages, this tendency continued to the modern dance. Now we can see this type at the carnival. The mask was not only an effective means of dance but also an expression of totemism, performing cast, and the head of the family. Therefore it contributed to the growth of the dance a lot.
Serial ultrasonographic examinations were daily performed from 15 days after ovulation until parturition to determine the growth curve of gestational structures in pregnant Maltese, Yorkshire terrier, Shih-tzu, and Miniature Schnauzer bitches, respectively. Gestational age was timed from the day of ovulation (day 0), which was estimated to occur when plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 4.0 ng/ml. The inner chorionic cavity diameter were significantly and linearly relative to gestational age especially days 20 to 40, and the fetal head diameter were significantly and linearly relative to gestational age especial1y day 40 to parturition. These results indicate that inner chorionic cavity diameter were the most accurate for estimating gestational age before day 38 of gestation and the fetal head diameter were after day 38 of gestation.
