  • In this paper, a negative impedance converter, the key element of non-Foster matching to enhance the bandwidth of matching high Q-factor passive element, is presented. Proposed negative impedance converter is implemented by the topology of Linvill's transistor negative impedance converter circuit. It is hard to forecast the operation of negative impedance circuit, because it is composed of gain element and positive feedback. Therefore the negative impedance circuit is implemented by hybrid type beforehand to check out the feasibility and it is designed by integrated circuit. The integrated circuit is fabricated by commercial $0.18{\mu}m$ SiGe BiCMOS process, and non-Foster matching is observed at 700~960 MHz band by cancelling the target reactance.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between resilience of migrant workers and their mental health for improving their quality of life and adaptation in Korean society. Methods: Data were collected from March 21 to May 7, 2011. The participants included 488 migrant workers who lived in Busan Metropolitan City or Gyoungnam province. Results: First, heavy working burdens and lack of rests, low wages, poor living environments, low economic status & deficiency of living necessities, hard physical labors, and conflicts with Korean workers had negative effects on mental health. Second, high perceived stress caused by usual 'living difficulties', high 'cutural shock', high feeling of 'social isolation', and high discomfort from 'lack of Korean language proficiency' gave negative effects on migrant worker's mental health. Third, the most important factor on the mental health was the 'cultural shock' among stressors. Even though many stressors existed among migrant workers, these negative effects on mental health were lessened by their high resilience level. Conclusions: This study highlights the importance of migrant workers in Busan, Korea. To improve their mental health, social support including financial supports and educational programs that foster resilience needed.

  • A bunch of management studies have repeatedly revealed that the extent of knowledge sharing across organization contributes significantly to the firm's sustainable competitiveness. However, in reality, it is a hard fact that we must admit that many individuals working in competitive situations always feel reluctant to share knowledge. Especially, positive and negative emotions play an important role in changing individual' s intentions about knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization as well. Intention about knowledge sharing is usually hindered by in-group rivalries. Also employees feel negative in sharing their knowledge with colleagues when they expect to receive little support and recognition in return after doing that. These considerations point out the importance of individual's knowledge sharing and the role of knowledge management in order to assure competitiveness. Considering these facts, the main purpose of this study is to investigate why people is willing or unwilling to share their knowledge with others and utilize the knowledge in the competitive context where potential rivalry is still expected. In answering these research issues, we analyzed 258 valid questionnaires garnered from online community where a number of people has been actively interacting with registered members to share crucial knowledge about sensitive issues. Results revealed that the proposed research issues are adequately solved with significant statistical results.

  • Vietnam's Oil and gas industry make a significant contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of Vietnam. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit every industry hard, but perhaps the one industry which has taken the biggest hit is the global oil and gas industry. The purpose of this article is to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry. The event study method applied to Oil and Gas industry index data around three event days includes: (i) The date Vietnam recognized the first patient to be COVID-19 positive was January 23, 2020; (ii) The second outbreak of COVID-19 infection in the community began on March 6, 2020; (iii) The date (30/3/2020) when Vietnam announced the COVID-19 epidemic in the whole territory. This study found that the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry responded positively after the event (iii) which is manifested by the cumulative abnormal return of CAR (0; 3] = 3.8% and statistically significant at 5 %. In the study, event (ii) has the most negative and strong impact on Oil and Gas stock prices. Events (i) favor negative effects, events (iii) favor positive effects, but abnormal return change sign quickly from positive to negative after the event date and statistically significant shows the change on investors' psychology.

  • In this article, we reported a single case of ischemic fasciitis in a young woman with a progressive immobilization due to a multifocal demyelinating disease of central nervous system, which appeared on an extensive pressure ulcer of the sacral region treated with 10 days of negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Wound examination revealed a significant nontender brown neoformation (9 cm in length × 10 cm in width × 7 cm in height), fixed to the sacrum, presenting hard consistency, and grown in the central portion of the sacral pressure sore. The histologic examination showed central fibrinoid necrosis, and vascular and atypical fibroblastic proliferations, and a diagnosis of ischemic fasciitis was made. Ischemic fasciitis is a rare benign proliferation of atypical fibroblasts that occurs in physically weak patients with reduced mobility. In the literature, the relationship between the use of NPWT on pressure ulcers and the development of ischemic fasciitis is, to the best of our knowledge, not described yet.

  • A study was conducted to observe the variation and inheritance of agronomic traits and their interrelationship in mungbean. The objective of the study was to compare agronomic traits and hardseed percentage of 268 recombinant inbred lines(RILs) developed from the cross between wild Vigna subspecies sublobata "ACC 41" with the mungbean cultivar "Berken". The RIL population and their parents were evaluated under controlled conditions in a glass house at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. The results showed significant differences among the RILs and among the parents in all traits under study. Berken had a longer flowering date and a higher seed weight per plant, but less total leaf number and pod number per plant than ACC 41. A germination test between papers revealed that ACC 41 was 100% hard-seeded and did not germinate at all, while Berken germinated up to 100%. Their RILs distributed well between 0 to 100% hardseed. Upon scarification, all hardseed germinated within seven days. Narrowsense heritability estimates of total leave number, hardseedness, pod length, and pod width were highly heritable at 89.9, 98.9, 93.7, and 93.2%, respectively. The heritability of seed weight per plant and number of seeds per plant were lower at 63.1 and 58.4%, respectively. Seed weight per plant showed positive transgressive segregation when compared with ACC 41 and a positive correlation with 100 seed weight. While the number of seeds per pod showed a negative transgressive segregation when compared with Berken and a negative correlation with pod length and pod width. The RILs gave a 1:1 segregation ratio in leaflet shape, growth habit, and growth pattern, indicating that these traits were controlled by a single dominant gene.

  • The traditional image of hydraulic excavator started to change in two ways since 1990. First, post-heavy equipment's visual image was new waves to traditional image of heavy, strong, and wild. They are the negative aspect that excavators have. Another movement of getting rid of its negative image can be found in late-heavy equipment, which was intended to adapt traditional and positive, but off negative images. In 1990s, the design trend is moving from warm/hard to warm/soft, and KOBELCO can be exceptional example that went even further, gone up to cool-soft image. KOBELCO specially aimed 'post- excavator image' strategy, which has been successful. Image of cabin as a human space changed little bit further than outside image. Each company tried to differentiate the design of cabin focusing on its safety. Following paragraphs show specific trend of image change in form, colour, texture, and the composition. Major visual image change in form tries to follow the image of cars and home appliances which are showing the movement from tough and hard image to soft one. Structural change on local image shows the movement from angular edge to edgeless and the movement of cabin's pillar C placed to back of the equipment with gentle inclination. All of these movements are the result of effort to improve traditional excavator's negative image, that top structure is assembled separately, to positive ones. Today's tendency about its color becomes important to apply two different colour styles. Each style has brightness and tone comparison. As an enormous power convey system, it was in common that its brightness comparison was useful because of the alarm of its damage possibility. However, as its colour control and its design have been emphasized gradually, the tone comparison takes a part in an important role, too. As an example, there is an occasion that these comparisons are compromised simultaneously. In the respect of its image creation, its texture treatments make the tendency of being the same as passenger cars. It is caused from its development of the manufacture techniques of from the fabrication method in small business to the press method in big firm. Further, it is also because of its improvement of painting & coating skills. It may prohibit the reflection effect from solar rays. In the point of view of its visual images, it is recognized the prominent tendency that its composition has been gradually decreased. Lots of windows and the frames tends dark-colour as a whole. It is more preferred to have one colour image, but except KOBELCO and HITACHI. As well, there is another high-tendency to improve its standard treatments, especially for its corner and texture treatments.

  • Many issues arose to use the Pb-free solder as adhesive materials in MEMS ICs and packaging. Then this study for easy and simple sealing method using adhesive materials was carried out to maintain hermetic characteristic in MEMS Package. In this study, Hermetic characteristic using negative PR (XP SU-8 3050 NO-2) as adhesive at the interface of Si test coupon/glass substrate and Si test coupon/LTCC substrate was examined. For experiment, the dispenser pressure was 4 MPa and the $200\;{\mu}m{\Phi}$ syringe nozzle was used. 3.0 mm/sec as speed of dispensing and 0.13 mm as the gap between Si test coupon and nozzle was selected to machine condition. 1 min at $65^{\circ}C$ and 15 min at $95^{\circ}C$ as Soft bake, $200\;mj/cm^2$ expose in 365 nm wavelength as UV expose, 1 min at $65^{\circ}C$ and 6 min at $95^{\circ}C$ as Post expose bake, 60 min at $150^{\circ}C$ as hard bake were selected to activation condition of negative PR. Hermetic sealing was achieved at the Si test coupon/ glass substrate and Si test coupon/LTCC substrate. The leak rate of Si test coupon/glass substrate was $5.9{\times}10^{-8}mbar-l/sec$, and there was no effect by adhesive method. The leak rate of Si test coupon/LTCC substrate was $4.9{\times}10^{-8}mbar-l/sec$, and there was no effect by dispensing cycle. Better leak rate value could be achieved to use modified substrate which prevent PR flow, to increase UV expose energy and to use system that controls gap automatically with vision.
