본 연구에서는 현재 사용되는 한글 모오스 부호가 정보이론에 의거한 합리적인 부호가 되지 못한다는 점을 지적하였고 이를 개선하기 위하여 한글의 사용빈도에 대한 통계를 고려한 합리적인 한글 모오스 부호를 제안하였으며 더 나아가서 26개 문자방식을 채택하는 경우가 24개 한글 기본문자만 채택하는 경우에 비하여 정보의 전송속도 면에서 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 검토하였다. 이 결과로 제안된 한글 모오스 부호는 현재 사용되고 있는 한글 모오스 부호보다 부호의 평균 길이를 17% 단축시켰으며 따라서 통신속도가 21% 향상 된다는 결론이 나왔다.

Hangul search functionality, including dictionary search is used in many Hangeul applications. Existing research of hangeul search method is the study of using hangeul syllable as a basic unit. However when you consider the characteristics of Hangul, the research of using hangeul character as a basic unit is needed. In this paper we propose the character based hangeul search method using the location-specific frequency information and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experiments.

본 논문에서는 모바일 상황에서 동작할 수 있는 웹 앱을 이용하여 한글로 영어 발음을 표기할 수 있는 영어단어와 문장 전자사전을 설계하고 개발하였다. 데이터베이스는 영어단어, 한글 발음기호와 그림, 어휘 정의, 음성파일, 문장들을 사용하여 만들었다. 본 영어 학습시스템은 HTML5와 m-Bizmaker 소프트웨어 툴을 사용하여 개발하였다.

본 논문은 한글의 특성을 3상태 변환 그래프를 이용하여 경제적으로 코드화하는 방법을 제시한 것이다. 이 방법을 사용하면, 한글을 표시하는데 코드의 평균 길이는 자모당 약 204비트 정도가 필요하게 되는데 이것은 다른 방법에서 제시된 것보다 약 1비트이상 축약된 것이다. 따라서 정뵤교환이 필수 조건인 정확성 간결성 신속성 경제성을 향상시킬 수가 있게 된다.

이 논문은 한국어 정보원의 구조를 분석하고 기본문자의 출현확율에 따른 KS몰스코오드를 재구성하여 전송속도및 효율을 14%이상 향상시키고 또 앞서 일부 제안된 바 있는 △parameter의 효과와 그것에 의한 한글의 단음절의 자동 식별방법 및 코오드의 개선및 data entry의 합리화에 미치는 영향에 대해서 기술하였다. 아울러 단음절의 자동식별은 13∼16%의 효율을 향상시킨다는 것도 명백히 하였다.

본 논문에서는 한글 인덱스를 구현할 때 글자 단위를 기본으로 하는 경우 적용될 수 있는 검색 유형 (search pattern) 들은 어떠한 것들이 존재할 수 있는지에 대해 살펴보고, 검색 알고리즘에 적용시켜 본다. 이때 부호계와의 연관성과 효율성을 따져보기 위해서 KS X 1001의 두 바이트 조합형과 두 바이트 완성형, 그리고 유니코드 3.0의 조합형 부호계와 완성형 부호계 등 여러가지 부호계를 사용할 때에 대해 기본 검색 알고리즘을 적용해 본다.

UCS(=ISO/BC 10646, =Unicode)는 국제화에 따라 앞으로 점점 더 많이 쓰게 될 것이고, 일단 정착되고 나면 한참 동안 쓸 것으로 예상하고 있다. 하지만, UCS로는 남한과 북한의 같은 글자를 쓰면서도 다른 사전 순서로 쓰는 상황을 해결할 수 없다. 국제 표준 ISO/IEC 14651:2000(International String Ordering)은 여러 나라 글자계(script)가 섞여 있을 때, 모든 글자의 차례를 정하고 간추리는 틀에 관한 표준이다. ISO/IEC 14651을 이용하면 간추리는 차례가 공통 틀 표(Common Template Table)에 들어 있기 때문에 글자의 간추리는 차례를 쉽게 바꿀 수 있으며, 남한과 북한의 가나다 차례를 통일하지 않고 글자 순서가 다른 문제를 해결할 수 있다. ISO/IEC 14651 관련 함수는 리눅스와 솔라리스, FreeBSD와 같은 유닉스 기반 운영체제의 최신 라이브러리에 포함되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 남쪽에서 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례를 포함하는 북쪽 로캘을 리눅스 시스템에서 만들고, 입력된 문자열(=글자떼)을 남쪽 혹은 북쪽의 한글 가나다 차례에 따라 간추리기 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 한글 비트 맵 폰트와 프린터 데이타의 실시간 압축과 복원에 적합 한 니블 RLE(Run Length Encoding)코드를 제안한다. 제안한 코드를 명조체와 고딕체 완성형 한글 폰트와 프린터 출력 데이타에 적용하여 압축율이 좋음을 보인다. 그리고 압축과 복원을 분리하여 각각 하나의 ASIC(주문형 반도체)으로 설계하고 CAD상에서 시뮬레이션하여 동작을 확인한다. ASIC은 0.8 미크론 CMOS 게이트 어레이로 설계하여 약 2,400 게이트가 소요되었으며 25MHz 클럭으로 동작 하였다. 따라서 제안한 코드는 간단한 하드웨어로 최고 100M bit/sec로 압축 및 복원을 수행하여 실시간 응용에 적합 하다.

HunMinJeongEum, meaning "the right sound to teach the people," was created in 1443 CE by King Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty. In today's modern language, this letter, called Hangeul, is internationally recognized for its linguistic science. However, it is hard to find a comprehensive study on the fact that King Sejong himself created Hangeul, the Confucian perspective on natural disasters and democracy revealed in the process of writing, the independent efforts emphasized from a certain period, and the achievements of King Sejong, who shared the sorrow of the people and carried out national policies despite the extreme opposition of the nobility. Accordingly, I analyzed the consonants of HunMinJeongEum and looked at the essence of humanity and oriental philosophy (Yin-Yang Five Elements, Sangsu Philosophy, Hado). Surprisingly, different meanings from previous studies and interpretations were found, and King Sejong's "Da Vinci Code," which was left behind in the process of making the consonant, is reinterpreted and revealed. King Sejong's achievements were all connected as one. This is the root of democracy in the Republic of Korea today, and this is why King Sejong was selected as the most beloved and respected historical figure by the Korean people. This study will start with more people's understanding of the fundamental perception and philosophy of the world in Asia, including Korea, to reinterpret and reveal the hardships and great achievements experienced by a leader of a country in the process of creating korean alphabet, and to emphasize democracy, which is an important value for Asians and Westerners' mutual respect and co-prosperity.

In this paper, a variable length block code for real time compression and decompression of hanguel and chinese character bit map font is proposed. The proposed code shows a good compression ratio in complete form of hangeul myoungjo and godik style and chinese batang and doddum style bit map font. Besides, a compression and decompression ASIC is designed and simulated on CAD. The 0.8 micron CMOS sea of gate is used to implement the ASIC in amount of 5,200 gates, and it runs at simple hardware and compress and decompress at 33M bit/sec at maximum, which is ideal for real time applications.
