Higher-order Factor Structure of Consumer Dissatisfaction with Clothing -Off-line Purchase and Usage- (의복 불만족의 고차요인구조 -오프라인 의복구매 및 사용-)

  • This study investigates the ultimate factor structure of consumer dissatisfaction with the off-line purchase and usage of clothing. It identifies the determinant dimensions of consumer dissatisfaction on clothing purchase and usage and investigates the hierarchical structure of consumer dissatisfaction by assessing and comparing the effectiveness of five alternative factor structure models. A total of 300 women were online-surveyed to assess the level of dissatisfaction based on their dissatisfying experience with clothing purchases and usage in terms of product quality, price, salesperson's attitude, and store environment. The exploratory factor analysis identified the underlying dimensions of dissatisfaction: Handling, Aesthetics, Salesperson, Size, Price, Product Quality, Service, and Environment. By employing a first-order confirmatory factor analysis and higher-order confirmatory factor analysis, consumer dissatisfaction was confirmed to have a hierarchical structure with three second-order constructs Intrinsic instrument is manifested by handling, quality, and size, Intrinsic expression consists of service, salesperson, and environment, and Extrinsic circumstance contains aesthetics and price. On empirically demonstrating the multi-dimensional constructs of consumer dissatisfaction by identifying its hierarchical structure, the study provides the theoretical and practical insights to comprehend consumer purchase and post-purchase behavior. Specifically, it affords an empirical platform to extend the scope of research with condensed concepts of dissatisfaction to researchers. In addition, it also enables marketers to take a broader view of consumer dissatisfaction by providing cues about potential problems and identifying the source of those problems.

  • This paper proposes a novel resource allocation scheme which allows to guarantee the user-perceived service quality for various high-quality mobile multimedia service such as interactive game, tactile internet service, remote emergency medical service or remote disaster handling robot control to a certain level in the mobile networks. In our proposed scheme, Mean Opinion Score(MOS), which represents the degree of user satisfaction for perceived quality, is determined based on the delay limit allowable to each service. Moreover resources are allocated in consideration of this MOS. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme can decrease the outage probability in comparison with existing schemes Moreover it can increase the total throughput as well.

  • Active suspension controls stiffness and damping between unsprung mass and sprung mass in order to increase the ride quality. However, to increase the riding quality, the handling quality should be decreased and the rattle space should be increased. So, active suspension should cope with these conflict conditions. Therefore its actuating devices have to produce sufficient actuating force and have sufficiently short response time. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of 1/4 car model with an active suspension is studied according to hydraulic design variables. The active suspension consists of a hydraulic servo valve and a hydraulic cylinder. It shows better performance when it has more powerful and faster actuator.

  • This study is the experimental results on the applicability of the super flowing concrete, which is the pre-cast concrete, to various cases. The primary purpose of this study is to verify the demolding strength, the handling strength of the super flowing concrete at various curing conditions, and the site quality control of the DWS (Daewoo Multi-Room Modular Construction System). From the experimental works, required strength and curing cycles are satisfied. Furthermore site quality control details and quality of the pre-cast concrete using the super flowing concrete are obtained. From now on, this study may suggest how to apply the super flowing concrete for common circumstance.

  • Aside from the issues like energy saving and maximizing network lifetime. WMSN has another issue to deal with: support of quality of service(QoS) which is required especially for handling real-time data such as object tracking and data gathering. This paper proposes a multipath routing algorithm considering the distance to sink node, energy level and link quality of neighbour nodes. Proposed algorithm supports multipath routing path with high quality links. Hence it helps to reduce a power consumption concentration that happens in particular set of nodes along the frequently selected route. It also specifies a service quality pattern and a service quality level depending on traffic pattern. By doing this, the proposed algorithm can realize a differentiated service with QoS guaranteed data transmission.

  • In today's competitive business environment it is a necessary condition for a company to produce high-quality product for its survival and growth. That is the case in the auto-part industry as well where the international standards, ISO/TS 16949 certification, are required by customers to adopt mandatory. This study presents a successful implementation of quality management system(QMS) in a major auto-part manufacturer in Korea, utilizing SAP's QM(qualaity management) module and a mobile office system. The QMS brought the company "A" a variety of benefits such as real-time availability of product-inspection data, speedy decision-making, reduction in time required for defect-handling, ease of vertical integration of business partners in supply chain, and ease of business process standardization between headquarters and overseas subsidiaries. It is expected that the findings of this study can be used as a useful guideline for companies to consider implementing ERP-based quality management systems successfully.

Comparative Evaluation of Egg Quality in Response to Temperature Variability: From Farm to Table Exposure Scenarios

  • This study aimed to develop appropriate temperature management practices and provide scientific evidence to support the development of sell-by-date guidance for eggs. Washed and unwashed eggs were subjected to storage under six different scenarios, and both types of eggs were stored at temperatures up to 35℃ to evaluate the sell-by-date. Despite temperature fluctuations or continuous storage at 30℃ for 5 days, subsequent storage at 10℃ resulted in significantly higher Haugh unit and yolk index on day 15. These results indicate that refrigerating eggs from retail sales until consumption is effective for egg quality management, despite the exposure of up to 35℃ during distribution. In terms of sell-by-date evaluation, washed eggs retained class B quality for an additional 37 days beyond the recommended sell-by-date at 15℃, which is above the regulated storage temperature. However, unwashed eggs maintained class B quality for approximately 20 days at 30℃-35℃, emphasizing the need for sell-by-date guidelines for unwashed eggs. This study is the first to provide appropriate egg-handling practices based on the actual distribution environment in Korea.

  • 차량현가장치는 주로 운행중 승차감(ride quality)을 향상시키고, 현가장치의 변위(rattle space)를 제한된 범위안에 있도록 유지시켜 주며, 조정안정성(handling performence)을 향상시켜 주는 기능을 수행한다. 승차감을 향상시켜 주기 위해서는 도로 수직입력 및 횡풍등에 의한 외란으로 부터 스프링상질량을 절연 시켜야 하며, 조정안정성을 향상시키기 위해서는 타이어와 지면과의 접촉력변화를 최소화시키면서 타이어가 도로형상을 비슷하게 추종해야 한다. 또한 스프링상 질량과 스프링하 질량과의 충돌이 없이, 또한 현가장치의 각 링크기구들도 충돌없이 일정한 공간내에서 움직여야 하므로 현가장치의 변위는 제한조건내에 존재하여야 한다.(중략)
