  • In the case of conventional high frequency inverter, with damage of switch by surge voltage when switch gets into compulsion extinction by load accident and so on because reactor is connected by series to switch, or there was problem of conduction loss by reactor's resistivity component, Also, it has controversial point of that can not ignore conduction loss of switch in complete work kind action of soft switching. In this paper, as high frequency induction heating power supply, we propose half bridge type multi resonance soft switching high frequency inverter topology that can realize high amplitude operation of load current with controlling switch current by multiplex resonance, mitigating surge voltage when switch gets into compulsion extinction and to be complete operation of zero current switching by opposit parallel connected reactor to inverter switch. and do circuit analysis for choice of most suitable circuit parameter of circuit

  • 양방향 컨버터는 연료전지 발전 시스템의 인버터 dc link와 저전압 배터리를 연결시켜 준다. 방전 모드(boost)에서는 저전압(battery: 48[V])측에서 고전압(dc link: 380[V])측으로, 충전 모드(buck)에서는 저전압측 배터리로 전력이 전달된다. 본 논문에서는 방전모드 시 MOSFET으로 구성된 1.5[kW] 능동 클램프 전류원 풀 브리지 컨버터가 동작하고 배터리 충전 시 IGBT로 구성된 전압원 하프 브리지 컨버터가 동작한다.

  • In this paper, photovoltaic module integrated converter (MIC) based on active clamp current-fed half-bridge converter is proposed. The converter stage operates in zero-voltage condition using active clamp technique. The theoretical study and circuit design for proposed inverter are confirmed with PSIM simulator.

  • Nowadays, bidirectional DC-DC converters are becoming more into picture for different applications especially electric vehicles. There are many bidirectional DC-DC converters topologies; however, voltage-fed Dual Half-Bridge (DHB) topology has less number of switches as compared to other isolated bidirectional DC-DC converters. Furthermore, voltage fed DHB has galvanic isolation, high power density, reduced size, high efficiency and hence cost effective. Electrolytic capacitors always have problem regarding size and reliability in DC-AC single phase inverters. Therefore, voltage-fed DHB converter is proposed for the purpose of power decoupling to replace electrolytic capacitor by film capacitors. A new control strategy has been developed for 120Hz ripple rejection, and it was verified by simulation.

  • This paper describes two novel current fed high frequency resonant inverter can be used as the power supp]y for wax-sealing. This two topology can be obtained higher output frequency than switching frequency by composing modified unit inverter based on conventional half-bridge serial resonant inverter in parallel with input power source. also, By using time-sharing gate control method, this proposed inverter can not only realize the output control of dependence irrespective of the switching frequency using phase-shift but also reduce switching loss because it has ZVS function. Simulation results through the Pspice have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed inverter. This proposed inverter will be able to be practically used as a power supply in various fields as induction heating applications, DC-DC converter etc.

  • 본 논문은 광범위한 전력제어가 가능하고, PC 직렬통신 방식에 의해 원거리에서 시스템을 ON-OFF할 수 있으며, 시스템의 상태를 모니터링 할 수 있는 선박비상조명시스템의 전력제어특성 개선에 관해 연구한다. 제안된 시스템은 강압형 컨버터, 비상급전회로, 반 브리지 인버터, 형광램프기동회로, 마이크로프로세서 제어 및 멀티통신회로 등으로 구성된다. 실험을 통하여 과전류에 의한 해당 시스템의 정지와 주전원 차단시의 비상전원에 의한 신속한 급전을 확인할 수 있고, 입력전력은 35[$\%$] 범위까지 제어됨을 확인한다. 또한, 원거리에서 원하는 시스템을 ON-OFF 하고, 시스템의 전력, 전압, 전류, 배터리 전압 등의 모니터링도 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지 이득 조정기를 이용한 황전등 전원장치를 제안하고, 회로를 설계하고 제작을 통해 성능을 확인하였다. 직렬 공진 하프 브리지 인버터를 기본으로 하여 전원변동 및 출력 보상을 위한 PFM(Pulse Frequency Modulation), 영전압 스위칭, 소프트 스위칭, 소프트 스타트를 적용하고 퍼지 이득 조정 알고리즘을 통해 역률과 효율을 개선하여 마그네트론의 수명 연장 및 안정된 출력을 얻을 수 있도록 하였고, 기존의 고정 출력에서 $900\~1250[W]$ 연속 가변 출력이 가능하게 하였다. 제작된 전원장치는 전원 전압의 변동에 대하여 상용 전원 $220V{\pm}15[\%]$에서 안정적인 출력 특성과 광효율 97[1m/W], 역률 $96[\%]$로서 만족한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The CCFL dimming control methods are generally used lamp current regulation or average current adjustment method feeding the CCFL inverter. Inverter operation frequency is higher than resonant frequency for safe operation. In this study, we design the half-bridge type series and parallel resonant converter circuit that switches at variable frequency modulation methods to control the output power. This method has advantages such as low EMI and reduced harmonics, and it is convenient for dimming control using a microprocessor. The validity of this study is confirmed from the simulation and experimental results.

대전류화를 위한 새로운 소프트 스위칭 고주파 인버터의 회로 해석 (Analysis of a new Soft-Switching High-Frequency Inverter for High Current)

  • In the case of an existing high frequency inverter is became forced extinction by quick load change, due to be connected with series inductor on switch, it is destroyed or is generated conduction loss by resistance component in reactor. And, In the operation of high current with a soft switching, conduction loss can not neglect. In this paper, for the high current power source, we make sure of soft swtching operation and reducing surge when the forced extinction by using a connected switch with series inductor. Also, we poropos a topology of the half bridge type high frequency inverter that can be realized high amplitude operation of the load current. And, analyze the circuit to decide an opmtial circuit parameter.

Improved Charge Pump Power Factor Correction Electronic Ballast Based on Class DE Inverter

  • This paper proposes fluorescent electronic ballast with high power factor and low line input current harmonics. The system performance can be improved by a charged pump circuit. Details of design and circuit operation are described. The proposed electronic ballast is modified from single-stage half bridge class D electronic ballast by adding capacitor parallel with each power switch and setting the circuit parameter to operate under class DE inverter condition. By using this proposed method the DC bus voltage can be reduced around by 50% compare with conventional class D inverter circuit. Because the power switches are operated at zero voltage switching condition and low dv/dt of class DE switching. The experimental results show that the proper frequency of the prototype is around 50 kHz with input power factor of 0.982, $THD_i$ 10.2% at full load and efficiency of more than 90%.
