Generation and fluorescence measurement of HF* molecules excited by combustion of fluorine and hydrogen (불소-수소 연소 열을 이용한 들뜬 상태 HF* 분자의 생산 및 형광 측정)

  • Operation conditions for the generation of an HF laser driven by fluorine-hydrogen combustion were discussed by mc:asuring the intensities of excited HF* molecules. Optimum injection quantities of fluorine gas for the generation of fluorine atoms was two times the injection mole number of hydrogen fuel. Slit nozzles with two dimensional configuration were used for the production of excited HF* molecules. When the injection mole number of secondary hydrogen gas is 1.3 times the injection mole number of fluorine gas, the fluorescence intensities of excited HF* molecules show maximum values. alues.

  • In this study, we developed the solution-processed PMMA-$HfO_x$ hybrid ReRAM devices to overcome the respective drawbacks of organic and inorganic materials. The performances of PMMA-$HfO_x$ hybrid ReRAM were compared to those of PMMA- and $HfO_x$-based ReRAMs. Bipolar resistive switching behavior was observed from these ReRAMs. The PMMA-$HfO_x$ hybrid ReRAMs showed a larger operation voltage margin and memory window than PMMA-based and $HfO_x$-based ReRAMs. The reliability and electrical instability of ReRAMs were remarkably improved by blending the $HfO_x$ into PMMA. An Ohmic conduction path was commonly generated in the LRS (low resistance state). In HRS (high resistance state), the PMMA-based ReRAM showed SCLC (space charge limited conduction). the PMMA-$HfO_x$ hybrid ReRAM and $HfO_x$-based ReRAM revealed the Pool-Frenkel conduction. As a result of flexibility test, serious defects were generated in $HfO_x$ film deposited on PI (polyimide) substrate. On the other hand, the PMMA and PMMA-$HfO_x$ films showed an excellent flexibility without defect generation.

  • This paper presents a high frequency (HF) link current-fed inverter fur fuel cell applications. The circuit topology, operation and control method of the proposed HF link current-fed inverter are presented. The active cancellation technique of the 120Hz input harmonic current is also considered. The simulation results are provided to show the feasibility of the proposed inverter scheme.

The Effect of Dwyer's Osteotomy and the 1st Metatarsal Osteotomy for Cavovarus Correction on Radiographic Parameters (요내반족 교정에 있어 드와이어씨 절골술 및 제 1중족골 절골술이 방사선학적 지표에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: Several techniques have been introduced for correction of pes cavo-varus deformity. We retrospectively reviewed and compared the data of patients who underwent 1st metatarsal osteotomy alone, Dwyer's osteotomy alone, and 1st metatarsal osteotomy combined with Dwyer's osteotomy to determine the effect on radiographic parameters. Materials and Methods: Data on 28 cases in 27 consecutive patients recruited from 2006 to 2014 who underwent 1st metatarsal osteotomy alone (group F), Dwyer's osteotomy alone (group H), or 1st metatarsal osteotomy followed by Dwyer's osteotomy (group HF) with a minimum 1-year follow-up were reviewed retrospectively. Results: Calcaneal pitch angle on the standing foot lateral radiographs was significantly decreased after the operation in groups H and HF whereas Meary angle was decreased in groups F and HF. Hindfoot alignment angle and ratio on the hindfoot alignment view were improved in groups H and HF. Maximal medial cuneiform height reduction was observed in group HF. 1st ray was significantly shortened in groups F and HF. Conclusion: Combined forefoot and hindfoot operation took the largest correction power of all radiologic parameters.

  • Exact and rapid acquirement of ocean environment information is going to become more of an indispensable source of naval operations. Ocean surface measurements using High Frequency (HF) radar, which covers about 10-220km and has spatial resolution of 0.3-12km, have being operated in our country. It remotely observe and transmit realtime sea surface currents and waves. In the near future, the HF radar systems will be established along the whole coastal area. A performance of network of HF radar will support various marine and naval activities. Operational uses of HF radar for enhancing naval operation ability are suggested.

  • We have investigated and tried to improve the characteristics of the thin $HfO_2$ layer deposited by ALD for fabricating a MOSFET device where the $HfO_2$ film worked as the gate dielectric. The substrate of MOSFET device is p-type (100) silicon wafer over which the $HfO_2$ dielectric layer with thickness of $5\~6\;nm$ has been deposited. Then the $HfO_2$ film was annealed with $1\~20\;atm\;H_2$ gas and subsequently aluminum electrodes was made so that the active area was $5{\times}10^{-5}\;cm^2$. We have found out that the drain current and transconductance increased by $5\~10\%$ when the $H_2$ gas pressure was 20 atm, which significantly contributed to the reliable operation of the high-density MOSFET devices.

  • The INMARSAT is able to long range maritime communications that can not use for expensive charge in non-SOLAS ship. Therefore, international discussion for the question that replacements use of MF/HF band for maritime distress and safety communications in maritime. HF data communications system may be effectively utilized for SOLAS ships as well as for the existing non-SOLAS vessels including the fishing boats, which navigate A2 and A3 sea areas. The HF data communications may have various functions such as e-mail services, broadcasting services of up-to-date information related to marine safety, position reporting services, polling services etc. However, the present HF e-mail communications protocols have a problem of increasing calling redundancy as the number of channels in operation increases. This paper new protocol and communication sequence proposed in this submission establishes a proper radio link automatically and adaptively by taking channel traffic into account.

  • In this paper, we studied 4H-SiC CMOS that can be integrated with high-voltage SiC power devices. After designing the CMOS on a 4H-SiC substrate, we compared the electrical characteristics with the reliability of high temperature operation by TCAD simulation. In particular, it was confirmed that changing HfO2 as the gate dielectric for reliable operation at high temperatures improves the thermal properties compared to SiO2. By researching SiC CMOS devices, we can integrate high-power SiC power devices with SiC CMOS for excellent performance in terms of efficiency and cost of high-power systems.

Effect of $PC_6$ Moxibustion for Mental Stress on Short-term Analysis of Heart Rate Variability (내관(內關)($PC_6$) 애구(艾灸)가 정신적 스트레스를 가한 성인의 심박변이도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of $PC_6$ moxibustion treatment for reducing mental stress using power spectrum analysis of the heart rate variability(HRV). Methods : 20 healthy volunteers(simple rest group : 10, moxibustion treatment group : 10) participated in this study. After instrumentation and 5-minutes rest period, mental stress by operation was provided for 5-minutes. HRV was recorded before and after the mental stress. And then the simple rest group rested for 15-minutes. The moxibustion treatment group was treated by $PC_6$ moxibustion and rested for 15-minutes. And then HRV was recorded. Results : In simple rest group, LF norm and HF norm showed a significant change after mental stress. In moxibustion treatment group, LF, HF, LF norm, HF norm and LF/HF showed a significant change after mental stress. But there were no significant difference between two groups(p>0.05) except HF. In moxibustion treatment group, LF, LF norm, HF norm and LF/HF showed a significant change after moxibustion treatment. There were significant differences between two groups(p<0.05). Conclusions : The result suggests that $PC_6$ moxibustion treatment can regulate and prevent the alteration of autonomic nerve system by mental stress.
