In computer forensics investigation, the investigators collect, protect, analyze and interpret massive amount of data which were used in cyber crime. However, due to its huge amount of information, it takes a great deal of time and errors often result even when they use forensics investigation tool in the process. The information visualization techniques will greatly help to improve the information processing ability of human when they deal with the overwhelming amount of data and have to find out significant information in it. The importance of Intrusion Detection System(IDS) among network forensics is being emphasized in computer forensics. In this study, we apply the information visualization techniques which are proposed to be a great help to IDS and carry out the usability test to find out the most effective information visualization techniques for IDS.

The report of the Korean National Statistics Office shows that Korea has been emerging as an elderly society rapidly, and it will burden the Korean society with excessive social welfare cost for the aged in the near future. If we can help the aged to live healthy in some ways, the social burden for the health care of the aged will be lessened. In order to help physical and mental health of the elderly person, we have developed an exercise apparatus called intelligent arm wrestling machine system. This paper presents the mechanism and scenario of the proposed intelligent arm wrestling machine system. The proposed mechanism and scenario are peculiar. In particular, the proposed scenario determines randomly who will win between the man and the robot and generates a game process that the arm-wrestler cannot predict in advance.

Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the meanings of onomatopoeia and mimetic words contextually used contextually when children play together. Methods: The participants included 40 children (ages 3-5 years) attending "M Daycare Center" in Seoul and "S Daycare Center" in Seongnam (a city in Gyeonggi-do). Twenty rounds of play observations were conducted at the centers. Once per week from May to October 2015. Results: The onomatopoeia and mimetic words observed were primarily relate to physical movements, sounds, and shapes. These types relate to Max van Manen's life-world existentials, correlating with spatiality, corporeality, and relationality. The characteristics of onomatopoeic and mimetic words used were additive and were used by the children to refine and diversify their language skills and enrich their linguistic imaginations. Conclusion: Onomatopoeic and mimetic words help children design their own play situations based on their creativity and help them share the play with their peers.

Purpose: This study was designed to identify the variables affecting male adolescents' sexual intercourse through a comprehensive analysis of individual and environmental factors. Method: The subjects of this descriptive survey on causal relations were 462 subjects enrolled in liberal and vocational high schools selected on a convenience sampling basis. The data collected from May-July 2002 was put to logistic regression analysis to build a forecast model. Findings: 1) Individual factors such as school record, experience seeking, non-inhibition and sexual permissiveness, 2) family factors such as parental living arrangement, 3) school factors such as career tract and 4) peer factors such as having a boy/girl friend were identified as significant variables forecasting sexual intercourse. Conclusion and Recommendation: The theoretical model built on the basis of the major findings of this study will hopefully help promote a wholesome youth culture related to sexual intercourse. It is recommended that a program be developed that can help control the variables identified in this study along with a follow-up study to verify the model.

The research of the computer-aided analysis and design of steel structures has continuously evolved. Despite the importance of connection in steel structures, the design process of connections is inefficient in present. The purpose of this study is to help engineer in connection design process. In this paper, prototype of automatic connection design module in integrated system for steel structures is proposed. The main methodology is based on bottom-up approach to simplify and formalize product model. Expert system is used to help engineer for selecting steel connection type. Object-oriented analysis and modeling will improve the expansion of knowledge-base. The design for connection was done according to the design specifications of connections of AISC

IPv6 enables stateless address configuration of hosts. Using this technique, a host in an IPv6 network can configure its address automatically with the help of a router. This eliminates the need for a server to manage the address dispatching state in conventional IPv4 networks. In this paper, we present a stateless configuration technique for routers. By expanding IPv6 stateless address configuration, a router can configure its network with the help of an upper level router, enabling a hierarchical, router-to-router network automatic configuration

Metal binding proteins or metallo-proteins are important for the stability of the protein and also serve as co-factors in various functions like controlling metabolism, regulating signal transport, and metal homeostasis. In structural genomics, prediction of metal binding proteins help in the selection of suitable growth medium for overexpression's studies and also help in obtaining the functional protein. Computational prediction using machine learning approach has been widely used in various fields of bioinformatics based on the fact all the information contains in amino acid sequence. In this study, random forest machine learning prediction systems were deployed with simplified amino acid for prediction of individual major metal ion binding sites like copper, calcium, cobalt, iron, magnesium, manganese, nickel, and zinc.

This study was initiated to investigate sixth graders' gender characteristics in science problem solving process and thus find out the proper learning and teaching strategies for each gender. A total of 14 students, each of seven male and female students, were selected through three tests, including items of science knowledge, science inquiry, and creativity. Students were required to solve 26 items and to think aloud for researchers help understand how they thought in their problem solving process. Males and females showed some similarity and difference in four steps of problem solving process, understanding, planning, solving, and reviewing. We found gender differences in self-confidence of their answer. This study is expected to help develop teachers' differential teaching strategy for male and female students' science problem solving.

This study is to evaluate the morality of teenagers with regard to features of justice. On the basis of the findings, an online morality level test system is designed and implemented to help students understand themselves better and to increase moral maturity through this self-test method based on Kohlberg's Morality Development Level. The main purpose of this study is to help students test and evaluate their morality, and it will be contributed to slough off egocentrism and to orient a relationship based on a mutual respect by using the embodied system. If this system can be applied successfully, an effective improvement on students' further education guidance may be gained because the test and its results are made in the system simultaneously. Also this easy and fast test system can attain much more economical effects than a written test.

수학사의 교수학적 의미를 살펴보고 수학 교육과정상 수학사의 연계 가능성을 분석하면서 초등학교 교수학적 현상에 적용해 본 사례들을 통해 그 가능성을 논하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 수학 교육학적 입장에서 교실 현장에 나가기 전 예비교사들의 수학사적 연계에 대한 교수경험의 중요성과 교실현장 학생들의 학습경험의 중요성을 수학 교수학적 입장에서 입증할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공할 것이다.
