수영운동 치료가 고지방식 투여 SD-Rat의 지방간에 미치는 영향 (Effect of swimming exercise therapy on a fatty liver in SD-Rat dosage high fat diet)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the repercussions of swimming exercise therapy that has an effect on lipid in blood and liver enzyme of the 3D-Rat dosage high fat diet. The object of this study consisted of two groups. One was the swimming exercise SD-Rat group, the other was the non-exercise SD-Rat group. Sample size was seven Rats repectively. Exercise period was ten week. Exercise group swimmed twenty minutes per a day and 5 times per a week. And then collecting blood from these two group's SD-Rats, making M Health center a request for a blood test on TC, TG, GOT, GPT, we come to a conclusion like below. The weight of the swimming exercise group has decreased 5.93% in comparison with non-exercise group. and has a significant difference(p<0.05). The liver weight of the swimming exercise group has decreased 7.83% in comparison with non-exercise group, and has not a significant difference. The TC of the swimming exercise group has decreased 39.22% in comparison with non-exercise group, and has a significant difference(p<0.05). The TG of the swimming exercise group has decreased 62.88% in comparison with non-exercise group, and has a significant difference(p<0.05). The GOT of the swimming exercise group has decreased 3.22% in comparison with non-exercise group, and has not a significant difference. The GPT of the swimming exercise group has decreased 16.14% in comparison with non-exercise group, and has a significant difference(p<0.05). In regard to above results, the regular swimming exercise therapy with dosage of high fat diet has an important role in healing and preventing a fattyliver, a hyperlipidemia, and an arteriosclerosis, intervening the lipid in blood.

MD5 및 HAS-160 해쉬 알고리즘을 통합한 면적 효율적인 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Area-Efficient Design of Unified MD5 and HAS-160 Hash Algorithms)

  • 본 논문에서는 MD5 및 HAS-160 해쉬 알고리즘을 통합한 하드웨어 설계에 대해 다룬다. MD5와 HAS-160 해쉬 알고리즘은 임의의 길이를 갖는 메시지를 512비트의 메시지 블록 단위로 처리하여 고정된 길이의 해쉬 코드를 출력한다. MD5의 해쉬 코드는 128비트이며, HAS-160 해쉬 코드는 160비트이다. 설계된 통합 해쉬 코어는 HAS-160코어와 비교하여 32%의 슬라이스를 추가적으로 사용하지만, 고정된 메시지 버퍼 공간만을 사용한다. 단계당 1클럭에 수행되는 통합 해쉬 코어는 92MHz에서 동작하며, MD5 모드에서는 724Mbps로 HAS-160 모드에서는 581Mbps의 속도로 메시지를 다이제스트(Digest)하는 성능을 갖는다. 본 논문의 통합 해쉬 코어는 전자상거래, 데이터 무결성, 디지털 서명 등의 분야에서 응용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

소비자의 로하스 소비의식과 로하스 상품소비행동 (Consumer's Consciousness of the LOHAS Consumption and the Consumption Behavior of the LOHAS Products)

  • 본 연구는 소비자의 자기관, 로하스 가치, 로하스 태도 및 로하스 상품소비행동간의 관련성을 탐색하기 위한 연구로 진행되었으며, 첫째, 자기관이 로하스 가치에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였으며, 둘째, 로하스가치, 태도, 상품소비행동에 관한 영향요인을 살펴보고자 하였으며, 마지막으로 로하스 가치, 태도 및 상품소비행동 간의 인과관계에서 성별의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위하여 수도권에 위치한 C대학교 대학생들을 연구대상으로 선정하여 설문조사 및 연구결과를 도출하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 자기관이 로하스 가치에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과 상호의존적 자기관이 로하스 가치에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 로하스 가치가 로하스 태도에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과 환경친화성과 지속가능성 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 로하스 태도가 로하스 상품소비행동에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과 로하스 태도가 로하스 상품소비행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 로하스 가치, 태도 및 상품소비행동 간의 인과관계에서 성별의 조절효과를 분석한 결과 유의한 결과는 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구는 자기관, 로하스 가치, 태도 및 상품소비행동에 간의 영향관계를 확인하였으며, 심리학적 주요 변인인 자기관과 로하스 소비자와의 영향관계를 확인하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

Oligonucleotide chip을 이용한 홍화자약침액(紅花子藥鍼液)이 위암세포주(胃癌細胞柱)의 유전자(遺傳子) 발현(發顯)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effect of Carthami Tinctorii Fructus Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CTF-HAS) on Gene Expression in SNU484 carcinomar cells)

  • Objectives : It has long been known about the osteogenic effect of CTF-HAS on bone tissues. However, it has not been determined the effect of CTF-HAS on cancer cells. The purpose of this study is to screen the CTF-HAS mediated differentially expressed genes in cancer cells such as SNU484 gastric cancer cell lines. Oligonucleotide microarray approach were employed to screen the differential expression genes. Methods : CTF-HAS was prepared by boiling and stored at $-70^{\circ}C$ until use. Cells were treated with various concentrations of CTF-HAS(0.1, 0.5, 1.5, 10, 20mg/ml) for 24 h. Cytotoxicity was tested by MTT assay. To screen the differentially expressed genes in cancer cells, cells were treated with 1.5mg/ml of CTF-HAS. For oligonucleotide microarry assay, total RNA was used for gene expression analysis using oligonucleotide genechip (Human genome U133 Plus 2.0., Affimatrix Co.). Results : It has no cytotoxic effects on HepG2 cells in all concentration (0.1, 0.5, 1.5, 10,20mg/ml). More than twofold up-regulated genes were 5 genes. The number of more than twofold down-regulated genes was 10. Discussion : This study showed the screening of CTF-HAS mediated differentially regulated genes using combined approaches of oligonucleotide microarray. The screened genes will be used for the better understanding in therapeutic effect of CTF-HAS on cancer field.

농업용수 개발을 위한 보의 실태조사와 그 분석 (강원도를 중심으로) (A Study on the Research of Actual Condition and the Analysis for the Weir to Develope the Agricnltural Irrigation Water (around Gangwon-Do))

  • The construction of the equipment of water utilization has been developed since the ancient Korea period, 1906 in order to develope and modernize the agriculture. As the results, 83% of total paddy field area, 1,268,949.8 ha has developed into the irrigated paddy field, and the rest of area, 17% has remained nonirrigated paddy field (due to the data of the statistics of 1975). The ratio of the irrigated paddy field area among the total weir was marked 13.14% (area, 137,926.3 ha) and the third grade of total irrigated paddy field in accordance with the facilities of water utilization. In case of Gangwon-Do, the 44.18 percentage of the total irrigated paddy field, 51,057.2ha has been and pointed out first grade. As the results, we found out the following articles : 1. The total weir, 1,641 that sumed concrete weir 647 and conventional weir 967 has been constructed and has irrigated the 44.l8% of total irrigated paddy field of Gangwon-Do. 2. These weirs have been public possession of those villages to be 96.1 percentage of total weir and was controled by them. 3. Those weirs that were constructed across tributary (first, secondary and third tributary) at vallies (elevation 100∼1,000m) have marked that 45 percentage of total number of catchment area has 100∼1,000 ha, and 70 percentage of total number of basin area has been below 10 ha and has constructed about 5 of step-shape. 4. The construction of most weirs has became generally about 50m length, about 1m height. 5. The 80 percentage of newly constructed concrete weir has aged below 10 years. It seemed that 79 percentage of conventional weir has aged over 20 years and 41% of contructed weir has needed to be improved quickly. 6. If privious weirs, 296 will constructed newly, they can irrigate 3,600.8 ha of paddy field and 45.8% of total irrigated paddy field will have been and will contribute to the production of much rice.

Numerical modelling of internal blast loading on a rock tunnel

  • Tunnels have been an integral part of human civilization. Due to complexity in its design and structure, the stability of underground structures under extreme loading conditions has utmost importance. Increased terrorism and geo-political conflicts have forced the engineers and researchers to study the response of underground structures, especially tunnels under blast loading. The present study has been carried out to seek the response of tunnel structures under blast load using the finite element technique. The tunnel has been considered in quartzite rock of northern India. The Mohr-Coulomb constitutive model has been adopted for the elastoplastic behaviour of rock. The rock model surrounding the tunnel has dimensions of 30 m x 30 m x 35 m. Both unlined and lined (concrete) tunnel has been studied. Concrete Damage Plasticity model has been considered for the concrete lining. Four different parameters (i.e., tunnel diameter, liners thickness, overburden depth and mass of explosive) have been varied to observe the behaviour under different condition. To carry out blast analysis, Coupled-Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) modelling has been adopted for modelling of TNT (Trinitrotoluene) and enclosed air. JWL (Jones-Wilkins-Lee) model has been considered for TNT explosive modelling. The paper concludes that deformations in lined tunnels follow a logarithmic pattern while in unlined tunnels an exponential pattern has been observed. The stability of the tunnel has increased with an increase in overburden depth in both lined and unlined tunnels. Furthermore, the tunnel lining thickness also has a significant effect on the stability of the tunnel, but in smaller diameter tunnel, the increase in tunnel lining thickness has not much significance. The deformations in the rock tunnel have been decreased with an increase in the diameter of the tunnel.

Results: It has no cytotoxic effects on SNU484 cell in all concentrations(0.l, 0.5, 1.5, 10, 20 mg/ml). In oligonucleotide microarray assay, in SNU484 cells, the number of more than twofold up-regulated genes was 5 while, the number of more than twofold down-regulated genes was 10. Conclusions: This study showed the screening of CPC-HAS mediated differentially regulated genes using combined approaches of oligonucleotide microarray. The screened genes will be used for the better understanding of the therapeutic effects of CPC-HAS on cancer fields.

The purpose of this study is to screen the GRR-HAS mediated differentially expressed genes in cancer cells such as SNU484 gastric cancer cell lines. Oligonucleotide microarray approache was employed to screen the differential expression genes. Methods : GRR-HAS was prepared by boiling and stored at $-70^{\circ}C$ until use. Cells were treated with various concentrations of GRR-HAS(0.1, 0.5, 1.5, 10, 20mg/ml) for 24 h. Cell toxicity was tested by MTT assay. To screen the differentially expressed genes in cancer cells, cells were treated with 1.5mg/ml of GRR-HAS. For oligonucleotide microarray assay, total RNA was used for gene expression analysis using oligonucleotide Genechip (Human genome Ul33 Plus 2.0., Affimatrix Co.). Results : It has no cytotoxic effects on both HepG2 and SNU484 cells in all concentrations(0.1, 0.5, 1.5, 10, 20mg/ml). In oligonucleotide microarray assay, in SNU484 cells, the number of more than twofold up-regulated genes was 346. The number of more than twofold down-regulated genes was 9. Discussion : This study showed the comprehensive gene expression analysis using oligonucleotide microarray for the screening of GRR-HAS mediated differentially regulated genes. These results will provide a better application of GRR-HAS in cancer field and drug target development.

Biocultural diversity and traditional ecological knowledge in island regions of Southwestern Korea

  • In 2009, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized the unique outstanding ecosystem biodiversity and distinct ecocultural values of the Shinan Dadohae Biosphere Reserve in the island region. The Dadohae area, which has been sustainably conserved for scores of years, boasts not only a unique ecosystem, but also has residents with a wide range of traditional ecological knowledge. In terms of understanding the soundness of the ecosystem network known as the landscape system, the recent expansion of environmental development has served to heighten the degree of consideration given not only to biodiversity, which has long been used as an indicator to assess ecosystem soundness, but also to assess cultural diversity. Man has used the surrounding landscape and living organisms as his life resources since the beginning. Moreover, whenever necessary, man has developed new species through cultivation. Biodiversity became a foundation that facilitated establishing cultural diversity such as food and housing. Such ecological knowledge has been conveyed not only to adjacent regions, but also at the international level. The recent rapid changes in the Dadohae area island ecosystem caused by the transformation of fishing grounds by such factors as climate change, excess human activities, and marine pollution, is an epoch event in environmental history that shows that the balance between man and nature has become skewed. Furthermore, this issue has moved beyond the biodiversity and landscape diversity level to become an issue that should be addressed at the cultural diversity level. To this end, the time has come to pay close attention to this issue.

석창포(石菖蒲)의 내외부형태(內外部形態) 연구(硏究) (Study on Internal-External Morphological Analysis in Acori Graminei Rhizoma)

  • The purpose of this study was to introduce the differential standard of the types of Acori Graminei Rhizoma. We established the classificatory standard according to the external and internal morphology for the several types of Acori Graminei Rhizoma. 1. External shape: Acorus gramineus has smaller size and fibroidal section. A. calamus has bigger size and cancellate section. A. tatarinowii has middle size and fibroidal section. Anemone altaica has very small long-spindle shape and flat section that has 6-12 row of vascular bundle. 2. Internal shape: Acorus gramineus has some bundle sheath fiber, but A. calamus has not. A. tatarinowii has many calcium oxalate crystalloid around bundle sheath. Anemone altaica has obscure cambium. All sample except A. altaica, in the mass, has scattered bundle, thin cell wall, broad cortex and well-developed endodermis. For the future, such results will be used as the basic source of additional research, and a far-reaching comparative study is needed to distinguish between many kinds of same genus-degree of relatedness.
