The phyllodicd polychaete species, Nereiphylla hera Kato and Mawatari, 1999 is reported from the intertidal habitats of the eastern coast of South Korea. We determined the DNA barcoding region of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) of N. hera and compared nucleotide variation with its congeners. The intra-specific genetic distance between the three COI sequences of N. hera was ranged from 0 to 0.4%. The inter-specific distances between N. hera and other Nereiphylla species ranged from 18.8 to 22.3%. In this study, we reported the first COI barcodes of N. hera with the morphologcial diagnosis and the photographs. These results would be helpful to understand taxonomy of Nereiphylla.

Zingiber officinale is a spice which is having a strong historical medicinal background and used by different systems of medicine for various ailments. It is also used to maintain the characteristic sharpness and tangy essence of food and beverages and used in carbonated drinks, as a conserve in sugar syrup. Ginger considered as an incredible drug for inflammation, gastrointestinal problems, pain and sexual problems since centuries. There are many studies carried out in recent years, which proves that the active constituents of ginger shows a variety of pharmacological effects like antiemetic, hepatoprotective, anti hyperlipidemic and antibacterial. The most momentous among all the nutraceutical aspects of ginger are its positive control on gastrointestinal tract including digestive stimulant action, anticancer effect and anti-inflammatory effect.

In this paper, a geometrically nonlinear meshfree analysis of 3D various forms of shell structures using the double director shell theory with finite rotations is proposed. This theory is introduced in the present method to remove the shear correction factor and to improve the accuracy of transverse shear stresses with the consideration of rotational degrees of freedom.The present meshfree method is based on the radial point interpolation method (RPIM) which is employed for the construction of shape functions for a set of nodes distributed in a problem domain. Discrete system of geometrically nonlinear equilibrium equations solved with the Newton-Raphson method is obtained by incorporating these interpolations into the weak form. The accuracy of the proposed method is examined by comparing the present results with the accurate ones available in the literature and good agreements are found.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of university students' media sports immersion experience through social media on exercise immersion and exercise continuation. This research target was first selected as a population of university students who have contacted media sports aged 20 or older living in Gwangju Metropolitan City in 2019. The sampling procedure was divided into five parts: Dong-gu, Seo-gu, Nam-gu, Buk-gu, and Gwangsan-gu in Gwangju, and 300 men and women were sampled using cluster random sampling. After individually entering coded data into the computer, the statistical program (SPSS Windows.20.0 Version) was used. The results obtained through this research process are as follows. First, it was found that university students' immersion to media sports had a partial effect on their commitment to exercise. Second, it was found that university students' immersion in media sports had a partial effect on the continuation of the exercise. Third, it was found that college students' exercise commitment has a partial effect on exercise continuation.

The infrared signature that is associated with an aircraft is mainly caused by heat released from the engine and the exhaust plume. In this study, a test-system was designed to observe the overall infrared signature characteristics of a turbofan engine during operation under ground running conditions and the infrared reduction features that result from different exhaust nozzle configurations. A test stand was designed for the 1400 lbf class turbofan engine that included a bell-mouth type intake, fuel supply system, a measurement system, and a data acquisition/control system. The design and verification of the test system were conducted so that the basic nozzle and various 2D nozzles could be applied to study the infrared signature produced by a turbofan engine exhaust.

A eunicid polychaete, Marphysa victori Lavesque, Daffe, Bonifácio & Hutchings, 2017 is described for the first time from the intertidal zones of the Korean coasts. It is characterized by having three types of pectinate chaetae (INS, isodont-narrow-slender; AWS, anodont-wide-slender; and AWT, anodont-wide-thick), appearance of pectinate chaetae from chaetiger 2, the chaetae consisted of pectinate and compound spinigers, and pygidium with one pair of pygidial cirri. In genetic analysis based on cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI), intra-specific genetic distance between the specimens of M. victori from its type locality, France and Korea are in the range of 0.000-0.013. This paper includes the morphological description and photographs of M. victori new to Korean fauna, with partial sequences of the mitochondrial COI as DNA barcode data on this species.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of college students' interest in sports media on sports values and sports activities. In order to identify the purpose of this study, college students aged 20 years or older living in Jeonnam region in 2021 were selected as the population. A total of 300 subjects (150 males and 150 females) were selected using the convenient sampling method. The survey tool consisted of a questionnaire on a 5-point scale. Also, the collected data were statistically processed using SPSS version 20.0. The results obtained through this research procedure are as follows. First, it was found that college students' interest in sports media had a partial influence on sports values. Second, it was found that college students' interest in sports media partially affected their participation in sports. Third, it was found that college students' participation in sports had a partial effect on sports values.

A hesionid species, Leocratides kimuraorum Jimi, Tanaka and Kajihara, 2017 is newly reported from the sublittoral zones (100 m depth) of the Korean coasts. This species is characterized by lateral antennae as long as the palps, peristomial membrane without papillose, peristomial dorsolateral tubercles with two round marginal lobes, and pharyngeal with terminal papillae. The intra-specific genetic distance among the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I(COI) sequences of L. kimuraorum specimens from Japan (type locality) and Korea (this study) was in the range of 0.002-0.005. The inter-specific genetic distance between L. kimuraorum and other hesionid species were 0.166-0.307. The present study is the first record of Leocratides species in Korean fauna. This paper also provides a morphological description and photographs of L. kimuraorum, with partial sequences of the mitochondrial COI based on Korean specimens.

Smart grid (SG) software platforms and communication networks that run and manage the entire grid are increasingly concerned about cyber security. Characteristics of the smart grid networks, including heterogeneity, time restrictions, bandwidth, scalability, and other factors make it difficult to secure. The age-old strategy of "building bigger walls" is no longer sufficient given the rise in the quantity and size of cyberattacks as well as the sophisticated methods threat actor uses to hide their actions. Cyber security experts utilize technologies and procedures to defend IT systems and data from intruders. The primary objective of every organization's cybersecurity team is to safeguard data and information technology (IT) infrastructure. Consequently, further research is required to create guidelines and methods that are compatible with smart grid security. In this study, we have discussed objectives of of smart grid security, challenges of smart grid security, defensive cybersecurity techniques, offensive cybersecurity techniques and open research challenges of cybersecurity.

가상화 기술을 기반으로 하는 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 시스템 내에 존재하는 자원을 분할하여 이용하거나 독립적으로 존재하는 자원을 통합하는 측면에서는 매우 편리하고 용이하다. 또한 컴퓨팅 자원의 활용률을 극대화하는 이점도 존재한다. 하지만 가상화 기술 자체만으로는 사용자의 요청에 동적으로 가상화된 자원, 즉 가상 머신(Virtual Machine)을 생성, 복제, 할당 및 삭제 등의 관리 작업에 어려움이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Xen 과 Globus Toolkit 을 기반으로 구축된 환경에서 가상 머신의 관리를 편리하게 처리할 수 있는 가상 머신 매니저를 그리드 서비스로 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한 사용자의 요청을 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 작업과 자원에 대한 실시간 스케줄링 방법을 제안한다.
