The object of the present paper is to introduce a new curvature tensor, named generalized quasi-conformal curvature tensor which bridges conformal curvature tensor, concircular curvature tensor, projective curvature tensor and conharmonic curvature tensor. Flatness and symmetric properties of generalized quasi-conformal curvature tensor are studied in the frame of (k, ${\mu}$)-contact metric manifolds.

A complex n-dimensional Kaehlerian manifold of constant holomorphic sectional curvature c is called a comples space form, which is denoted by $M_n(c)$. A complete and simply connected complex space form consists of a complex projective space $P_nC$, a complex Euclidean space $C^n$ or a complex hyperbolic space $H_nC$, according as c > 0, c = 0 or c < 0. The induced almost contact metric structure of a real hypersurface M of $M_n(c)$ is denoted by $(\phi, \zeta, \eta, g)$.

We introduce invariant rigged null hypersurfaces of indefinite almost contact manifolds, by paying attention to those of indefinite nearly α-Sasakian manifolds. We prove that, under some conditions, there exist leaves of the integrable screen distribution of the ambient manifolds admitting nearly α-Sasakian structures.

The aim of this article is to study the h-almost Ricci solitons and h-almost gradient Ricci solitons on generalized Sasakian-space-forms. First, we consider h-almost Ricci soliton with the potential vector field V as a contact vector field on generalized Sasakian-space-form of dimension greater than three. Next, we study h-almost gradient Ricci solitons on a three-dimensional quasi-Sasakian generalized Sasakian-space-form. In both the cases, several interesting results are obtained.

For a closed symplectic 4-manifold X, let $Diff_0$(X) be the group of diffeomorphisms of X smoothly isotopic to the identity, and let Symp(X) be the subgroup of $Diff_0$(X) consisting of symplectic automorphisms. In this paper we show that for any finitely given collection of positive integers {$n_1$, $n_2$, $\ldots$, $n_k$} and any non-negative integer m, there exists a closed symplectic (or K$\ddot{a}$hler) 4-manifold X with $b_2^+$ (X) > m such that the homologies $H_i$ of the quotient space $Diff_0$(X)/Symp(X) over the rational coefficients are non-trivial for all odd degrees i = $2n_1$ - 1, $\ldots$, $2n_k$ - 1. The basic idea of this paper is to use the local invariants for symplectic 4-manifolds with contact boundary, which are extended from the invariants of Kronheimer for closed symplectic 4-manifolds, as well as the symplectic compactifications of Stein surfaces of Lisca and Mati$\acute{c}$.

This study was carried out to develop a continuously variable-speed transmission(CVT) for agricultural tractor. A full-toroidal CVT mechanism with four discs and six rollers was selected as a device for changing speed ratio continuously. In the step of system layout design, the sizes of roller cylinders and end-load cylinder, which were critical factors for controlling the variator, were designed. Also the control pressure range was designed to limit the contact pressure of variator. In order to make the maximum speed of vehicle as 30km/h, the planetary gear and the six pairs of gears were designed. Also the hydraulic clutch, silent chain, hydraulic manifold and electronic controller were designed. After the design, a prototype with CVT controller was developed and tested. The speed of vehicle was changed continuously to the speed set by driver and the settling time was about 0.52 second at the step-response test (reduction ratio of variator 2.0 to 1.0), which was acceptable as a response time for working with tractor.
