USN을 이용한 다목적 가드레일의 원격제어 및 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구 (Study on Remote control and monitoring system of the multipurpose guard rail using USN)

  • 본 논문은 방초, 방림, 로드킬 등이 적용된 고기능 가드레일 지주에 태양광 모듈을 부착하여 자체 전력을 생산하고 USN을 이용하여 야생동물의 출현과 자동차 도로의 상황을 통합 관제 및 상시 감시할 수 있는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 전체 시스템은 태양광 발전 모듈, 감지 센서부(초전형), 제어부(동작 선택부 및 동작 센서부), USN시스템, DB(응향 및 섬광), 음향 및 섬광 출력부, 로드킬 방지 및 자동차 안전유도 제어 시스템으로 구성된다. 따라서, 도로환경의 개선과 로드킬을 방지하여 동물들을 보호할 수 있고 자동차를 안전하게 유도하며 신재생에너지와 IT융합 기술이 접목된 USN을 이용한 다목적 가드레일의 원격제어 및 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구이다. USN을 이용한 원격제어 및 모니터링 시스템의 실험결과 무인 감지 시스템의 동작시간은 5.1 ms 이내, 소비전류는 0.328 mA이며 원격제어 시스템의 데이터 전송 속도는 250 kbps, 소비전류는 0.283 mA로 구현됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 산악지역이나 지역적으로 급작한 기후 변화를 일으키는 곳을 모니터링할 수 있는 시스템을 통하여 재난피해를 최소화시키기 위한 국지적 기상모니터링 시스템 개발을 위한 기초연구이다. 우선 우리나라의 재해재난 관련 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구 현황을 수집 및 분석하였으며, 이러한 국지 기상모니터링 시스템의 실현가능성과 장점에 대해 조사하였다. 또한, 외국의 사례들을 참조하여 무선센서네트워크와 CDMA망의 통합을 바탕으로 한 효율적인 국지 기상모니터링 시스템의 구축을 위한 방향을 제시하였으며, 이러한 시스템을 위해 필요한 각종 센서와 센서노드의 형태, 100~500m 정도의 가까운 거리 마다 설치될 센서노드의 형태와 센서인터페이스, 전력공급장치 등에 대하여 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 앞으로의 모니터링 시스템 관련 연구과제의 도출과 통합된 정보가 기상관측소, 방송국, 지역 재난경보시스템과 연결되어서 급작스런 기후변화나 또는 홍수 등의 위험 경보를 그 지역에 있는 관광객 또는 거주자에게 휴대폰 또는 방송으로 알려주는 서비스를 통해 많은 연구 분야에서 활용될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

  • This study aims to establish a foundation for autonomous driving on campus and communication of abundant university information in the HCI environment in a VR environment where college freshmen can freely travel around campus facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop a three-dimensional VR-style campus tour system to establish a media environment to provide abundant university information guidance services to freshmen in non-face-to-face situations. This study designed a three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system to solve the problem of discontinuity in which VR360 filming space does not lead to space like reality, and to solve many problems of expertise in VR technology by constructing an integrated production environment of tour system. We aim to solve the problem of inefficiency, which requires a large amount of momentum in virtual space, by constructing a GUI that utilizes the motion of the field of view focus. The campus environment was designed as a three-dimensional virtual reality using a three-dimensional graphic design. In non-face-to-face situations, college freshmen freely transformed the HMD VR device, smartphone, FPS operation mode of the gyroscope sensor. The design elements of the three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system were classified as ①Visualization of factual experiences, ②Continuity of space movement, ③Operation, automatic operation mode, ④Natural landscape animation, ⑤Animation according to wind direction, ⑥Actual space movement mode, ⑦Informatization of spatial understanding, ⑧GUI by experience environment, ⑨Text GUI by building, ⑩VR360, 3D360 Studio Environment, ⑪Three-dimensional virtual space coupling block module, ⑫3D360-3D Virtual Space Transmedia Zone, ⑬Transformable GUI(VR Device Dual Viewer-Gyro Sensor Full Viewer-FPS Operation Viewer) and an integrated production environment was established with each element. It is launched online (http://vautu.com/u1) by constructing a GUI for free driving mode and college information screens to adapt to college life for freshmen, and designing an environment that can be used simultaneously by current media such as PCs, Android, and iPads. Therefore, it conducted user research, held a development presentation, a forum on excellence in university innovation support projects, and applied it as a system on the website of a particular university. College freshmen will be able to experience university information directly from the web and app to the virtual reality campus environment.

치과용 X-선 관구의 조정시간 (Settling time of dental x-ray tube head after positioning)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to introduce a method of obtaining the oscillation graphs of the dental x-ray tube heads relative to time using an accelerometer. Materials and Methods: An Accelerometer, Piezotron type 8704B25 (Kistler Instrument Co., Amherst, NY, USA) was utilized to measure the horizontal oscillation of the x-ray tube head immediately after positioning the tube head for an intraoral radiograph. The signal from the sensor was transferred to a dynamic signal analyzer, which displayed the magnitude of the acceleration on the Y-axis and time lapse on the X -axis. The horizontal oscillation of the tube head was measured relative to time, and the settling time was also determined on the basis of the acceleration graphs for 6 wall type, 5 floor-fixed type, and 4 mobile type dental x-ray machines. Results : The oscillation graphs showed that tube head movement decreased rapidly over time. The settling time varied with x-ray machine types. Wall-type x-ray machines had a settling time of up to 6 seconds, 5 seconds for fixed floor-types, and 1 I seconds for the mobile-types. Conclusion: Using an accelerometer, we obtained the oscillation graphs of the dental x-ray tube head relative to time. The oscillation graph with time can guide the operator to decide upon the optimum exposure moment after x-ray tube head positioning for better radiographic resolution.

자기부상시스템에서 레일 이음매 통과시 공극 처리방법 (Air-gap Signal Treatment at rail-joint in Maglev System)

  • Maglev using EMS becomes unstable by unexpected big air-gap disturbance. The main causes of the unexpected air-gap disturbance are step-wise rail joint and large distance between rail splices. For the stable operation of the Maglev, the conventional system uses the threshold method, which selects one gap sensor among two gap sensors installed on the magnet to read the gap between magnet and guide rail. But the threshold method with a wide bandwidth makes the discontinuous air-gap signal at the rail joints because of the offset in air gap sensors and/or the step-wise rail joins. Further more, in the case of the one with a narrow bend-width, it makes Maglev system unstable because of frequent alternation. In this paper, a new method using fuzzy rule to reduce air-gap disturbances proposed to improve the stability of Maglev system. It treats the air-gap signal from dual gap sensors effectively to make continuous signal without air gap disturbance. Simulation and experiment results proved that the proposed scheme was effective to reduce air-gap disturbance from dual gap sensors in rail joints.

  • With the great advances in process understanding, sensor and instrumentation technology and modelling capability it is important to ask what if any practical benefits can the lake manager and operator look forward to. Here, we examine some of the more important problems facing operators of drinking reservoirs, hydro-lakes and lakes used predominantly for recreation and the environment. In drinking reservoirs the main problems originate from increased loadings of nutrients leading to increased biomass and biomass that may give rise to toxins, of anthropogenic chemicals such as metals and synthetic organics and of pathogens of different types. Hydro-lakes are predominantly plagued by problems arising from low oxygen levels in the hypolimnion and in recreational and environmentally sensitive lakes the biggest challenge for the operator is to maintain an existing or establish a new trophic hierarchy or protect the water body from foreign species. The control variables that are at an operator's disposal are the choice of lake water level, the modification of the water colunm stratification via a de-stratification system, the modification of the lake flow path with flow intervention. curtains, intervention in the catchments to modify the loadings flowing into a lake, manipulation of the trophic chain with introduction of new species and chemical dosing, the latter being of marginal use in a large lake. Each of these options is cost effective under certain-circumstances. We endeavour to provide a users guide for their application and show how, especially new instrumentation and modelling methodologies may be used to achieve an effective intervention.

  • For the quality control of the industrial products, an automatic hole measuring system has been developed. The measurement device allows X-Y movement due to contact forces between a hole and its own circular cone and the device is attached to an industrial robot. Its measurement accuracy is about 0.04mm. This movement of the plate is measured by two LVDT sensor system. But this system using the LVDT sensors is restricted by high cost and precision of measurement and correspondence of environment so particularly, a vision system with CCD-Camera is discussed in this paper for the above mentioned purpose. The device consists of two of two links jointed with hinge pins basically and, they guarantee free movement of the touch prove attached on the second link in the same plane. These links are returned to home position by the spring plungers automatically after each process for the next one. On the surface of the touch prove, it has a circular white mark for camera recognition. The system detect and notify the center coordinate of capture mark image through the image processing. Its measuring accuracy has been proved to be about $\pm$0.01mm through the repeated implementation over 200 times. This technique will shows the advantage of touch-indirect image capture idea using cone-shaped touch prove in various symmetrical shaped holes particulary, like tapped holes, chamfered holes, etc As a result, we attained our object in a view of the accuracy, economical efficiency, and functionality

복도환경의 지역최소점 회피가 가능한 VFF 기반의 이동로봇 주행제어 (Navigation Control of Mobile Robot based on VFF to Avoid Local-Minimum in a Corridor Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동로봇에 장착된 초음파 센서 및 CCD 카메라를 통해 입력되는 환경정보에서 장애물을 인식 및 추출하여 주행전방의 환경을 구분하는 방법을 제시하였다. 복도 내에서 주행하는 로봇에 탑재된 초음파에 입력된 거리 데이터 정보에 의해 장애물을 검출하고 이동로봇이 미지의 동적인 환경을 초음파센서로 인지하여 지능적으로 목표점을 찾아가는 운행 알고리즘을 제안하고 검증하기 위한 실험결과를 제시하였다. 이동로봇에 다양한 센서 기술들을 이용하여 실내에서 활용하기 적합한 지능적 역할을 수행할 수 있는 다목적용 자율 이동 로봇에 환경인식을 위한 pan/tile 카메라(EVI-D30)를 장착하여 주행실험을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 제작한 로봇의 주행성능을 보이기 위해서 VFF 알고리즘을 적용하여 임의의 환경에서도 자율주행의 실험과 결과를 통해 제시한 방법에 대한 유효성을 검증하였다.

수동/능동적 방법을 혼용한 압전지능패널의 광대역 전달 소음저감성능 (Transmitted Noise Reduction of Piezoelectric Smart Panels using Passive/Active Method in Wide Range frequency)

  • 압전재료를 이용한 지능패널의 전달음 저감성능을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 제안된 압전지능패널은 압전 감지기와 작동기가 부착되어 있는 주구조물에 흡음재가 한 쪽면에 부착된 구조이다. 이는 저주파에서 능동적 방법과 고주파에서 수동적방법을 혼용한 개념이다. 이 개념을 증명하기 위하여 음향실험을 수행하였다. 음향실험을 위하여 음향터널을 설계, 제작하여 음향특성을 실험하였다. 음향 특성실험을 통하여 800 Hz가지 평면파특성을 나타내었다. 단일패널에 흡음재를 부착한 지능패널은 첫번째 공진주파수영역을 제외한 중주파수영역에서 뚜렸한 소음저감성능을 나타내었다. 첫번째 공진주파수에 대하여 반전회로를 이용한 능동제어를 수행하여 약 10 dB소음저감을 이루었다. 또한, 공기층을 갖는 이중지능패널에 대한 실험을 통하여 공진주파수에서 뿐만 아니라 넓은 영역에서 좋은 소음저감성능을 보였다. 수동적 방법과 능동적 방법을 혼용한 압전지능패널은 넓은 주파수 영역에서의 소온저감대책으로 유망한 기술이다.

진동패턴 알고리즘을 적용한 조이스틱의 햅틱 구현 (Haptic Joystick Implementation using Vibration Pattern Algorithm)

  • This research proposes a vibration pattern algorithm to implement the haptic joystick to control a mobile robot at the remote site without watching the navigation environment. When the user cannot watch the navigation environment of the mobile robot, the user may rely on the haptic joystick solely to avoid obstacles and to guide the mobile robot to the target. To generate vibration patterns, there is a vibration motor at the bottom of the joystick which is held by the user to control the motion direction of the mobile robot remotely. When the mobile robot approaches to an obstacle, a pattern of vibration is generated by the motor, and by feeling the vibration pattern which is determined by the relative position of the mobile robot to the obstacle, the user can move the joystick to avoid the collision to the obstacle for the mobile robot. To generate the vibration patterns to convey the relative location of the obstacle near the mobile robot to the user, Fuzzy interferences have been utilized. To measure the distance and location of the obstacle near the mobile robot, ultrasonic sensors with the ring structure have been adopted and they are attached at the front and back sides of the mobile robot. The precise location of the obstacle is obtained by fusing the multiple data from ultrasonic sensors. Effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been verified through the real experiments and the results are demonstrated.
