  • In the development of railroad station area, there are many factors about business management, but the interest of railroad users is an important factor as customer satisfaction. It is necessary to have the quality estimation of railroad service, and important factors of service as customer satisfaction aspects can be supply, reliability, convenience, and safety. In this study, primary factors are deduced in the efficiency aspects of railroad station facilities from analyzing relative importance index using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) methods. The most high rank important factor is railroad station user facilities, and the AHP importance index of passenger facilities and elevator facilities for KORAIL personnel and facility users is index. The third of KORAIL personnel is movement facilities, but facility users index is sanitation. And the low important factors of KORAIL personnel and facility users are shown as the platform in passenger facilities, the rest facilities in waiting room, the escalator in going up and coming down facilities, the escalator in movement facilities, the raised letters block in guide facilities, and the parking lot in subsidiary facilities.

  • Leading Lights and Sector Lights provide a navigable channel, heading reference and a visual indication. Mariners can take easily a reference bearing or line of position. The Busan North Port needed to install a sector light to resolve blind sections because of Busan Port Redevelopment Project D-1 Block Construction Plan. And also the busan new port needed to install a sector light to give safety indication because navigation conditions will be changed due to removal of the to-island. For this reason, design development was made for installation of sector lights. In addition, the results of design development were compared with the AtoN simulation and verified. This paper is expected to be very useful for installing Sector Lights to guide the vessel to port safely in Korea.

  • Presently, there is the blind of about 20~300,00 people including didn't register in Korea Usually, they used white stick when they walk outside. There is the blind receiving the help of the guide dog but a small number of blind uses due to many composite problems including the cost problem, and etc. Presently, the guidance service aid long for the blind which is commonly used adheres the RFID tag to the white stick. It remains at the level of the extent of making the cover block and RF communication by using this. The recognition distance is short. This is the actual condition in which it is difficult to determine the location of the clear obstacle and size and form, it doesn't become the help which is actually big in the walk of the blinds. Thus, in this paper, the investigation of 'Smart Portable Navigation System' development of the Cortex-A8 Platform base tries to be handled so that the blinds can walk easily.

  • Although the advance in electronic technology enables a large number of circuity to be packed in a small volume, it is simultaneously required to remove the high heat load produced by them. In this study, the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of a mini-channel heat exchanger, which is designed for liquid cooling of electronic components, are investigated by varying operating conditions. Water and FC-72 were used as working fluids. The mini-channel heat exchanger was made with circular shape channels having din-meters of 2, 3, and 4 mm in regular intervals, and the channel length was 100 mm. The header and inlet guide pathway to provide uniform inflow were attached at the inlet of the test section. Copper block including the heaters was attached at the sidewall of the test section as a heat source, which provided the heat flux from 5 to $15W/cm^2$. The entrance effects enhanced the heat transfer coefficient in the mini-channel significantly. In addition, the single-phase pressure drop in the mini-channel was very similar to that predicted by the laminar flow correlation except that the transition Re decreased due to flow instability in the entrance region.

  • Jaw relations and the recording methods have been controversial aspects of dentistry. The purpose of this study was to quantify the relative muscle activity of the masseter and temporal muscles in relation to different intermaxillary relations recorded by intra-oral tracer during maximal clenching and to decide the optimal mandibular position. Ten volunteers with healthy TMJ were studied. Intra-oral tracer was assembled and bite block was fabricated in the articulator. Intra-oral tracer was placed in the mouth, and four mandibular positions were recorded. EMG activity was recorded on a BIO-PAK system (Bio-Research Associates, Inc. USA.) in masseter and temporal muscle and compared in each mandibular positions. The results were as follows: 1. In comparison with maximum intercuspation, the chewing position was the most similar followed by tapping position, myocentric position and posterior border position. However the differences were not statistically significant. 2. In comparison of bilateral symmetry of masseter muscle, tapping position was the most symmetrical followed by chewing position and maximum intercuspation. Myocentric position and posterior border position were not symmetrical. (P<.05). 3. In comparison of bilateral symmetry of anterior temporal muscle, chewing position was the most symmetrical followed by posterior border position, maximum intercuspation, myocentric position and tapping position. However the differences were not statistically significant. 4. In comparison of proportionality of anterior temporal muscle to masseter muscle activity on left side, posterior border position was the greatest followed by myocentric position, taping position, chewing position and maximum intercuspation. And the proportionality of posterior border position was greater than that of maximum intercuspation. (P<.05). 5. In comparison of proportionality of anterior temporal muscle to masseter muscle activity on right side, myocentric position was the greatest followed by posterior border position, tapping position, maximum intercuspation and chewing position. However the differences were not statistically significant.

  • Financial companies are providing electronic financial transactions through a variety of user terminals for non-face-to-face services such as Internet banking, smart phone banking, or etc. However, in these services users' security awareness and the limitations of technical responses has frequently caused the financial loss so that fundamental protection measures are required from financial authorities. Accordingly, financial industry is planning and establishing systems that block unusual financial transactions by comprehensively analyzing and detecting user's electronic information, access information, transaction information, and so on in accordance with "Guide for building Unusual financial transactions detection system" to prevent the financial loss that happens in electronic financial transactions. In this paper, we analyze case studies of unusual financial transactions detection and prevention system that is built and operated in financial companies and current operating status and propose effects of the accident prevention and security measures later.

  • Recently, each university has been lecturing a lot on the liberal arts subject by emphasizing software education. However, students are often motivated by the difficulty of learning programming, the inability to recognize why they should learn programming, or even the fact that they do not try. The reason for the resilience is to guide programming learning to have the power to recover from the point of abandonment to proceed with the learning again. In this study, recovery elasticity pre-post-examination was conducted on the parts that learned scratches and those that learned Python. Studies have shown that while Scratch appears to be trying to accept and work harder, Python has been relatively more difficult than Scratch. It is expected that this study will help identify the factors that can sustain programming learning.

  • In this paper, the strength of the composite securement device was characterised by FE analysis. Preliminary frontal crash analysis for the vehicle, equipped with the conventional steel securement device, was carried out according to the ISO 10542 for special transportation to obtain loading data, which were applied to securement device during crash. The securement device consists of block, guide and rail and the weight fraction of rail was the highest among them, therefore, it is desirable to reduce weight of rail by applying carbon/epoxy composite. Also, it was found that 27% of lightweight effect was obtained by hybrid rail that bottom part was replaced by a composite compared to the conventional rail, i.e., made of SAPH 440, without sacrificing the structural strength.

  • Detection of crosswalk is an important issue for the blind to walk without the help of others. There is a braille block on the sidewalk, which helps the blind to walk. On the other hand, crosswalk is more dangerous due to the moving vehicles. However, there is no appropriate means to induce the blind. In this paper, we propose a method to detect crosswalk in front of a blind and estimate its direction using an image sensor. We adopt multi-ROIs and make their binary versions. In order to determine whether it is a crosswalk, two features are extracted; one is the number of crossing in the binary image and the other is the ratio of white area. We can also estimate the direction of the crosswalk through the slope of the projection data. We evaluated the performance using experimental dataset and the proposed algorithm showed 80% accuracy of detection.

  • In order to improve the housing culture, construction changes for the utilization of diverse and multifunctional spaces are appearing in response to the increasing diverse needs of consumers. Cellular Light-weight Concrete (CLC) is being developed for use in fire-resistant heat-insulating walls and non-bearing walls. However, manufacturing non-uniformity has become a problem as a drawback due to the use of foamed bubbles and normal temperature curing, and additional research is required. Therefore, in order to suppress cracks due to drying shrinkage, silica sand is mixed with CLC to try to understand its characteristics. In the experiment, the compressive strength from 7 to 28 days of age was measured via a constant temperature and humidity chamber, and the drying shrinkage was analyzed according to each condition using a strain gauge. The compressive strength of matrix tends to decrease as the substitution rate of silica sand increases. This is judged by the result derived from the fact that the specific surface area of silica sand is smaller than that of slag. Based on KS F 2701 (ALC block), the compressive strength of 0.6 products is 4.9 MPa or more as a guide, so the maximum replacement rate of silica sand that satisfies this can be seen at 60%. Looking at the change in drying shrinkage for just 7 days, the shrinkage due to temperature change and drying is 0.7 mm, and the possibility of cracking due to shrinkage can be seen, and it seems that continuous improvement and supplementation are needed in the future.
