볼 베어링을 이용 Linear Motion Guide의 동적 특성에 관한 연구 (Dynamic Characteristics of Linear Motion Guide Supported by Rolling Ball Bearings)

  • The linear motion (LM) guide using ball bearing has many advantages compared with conventional sliding guides. Therefore, LM guide using ball bearing has been used widely to increase the accuracy of the position of a system. This research investigates dynamic characteristics of LM guide through mainly linear analysis. Linear analysis is accomplished by Lagrange equation and finite element method. And another trial that is nonlinear analysis about one mode of LM guide(bouncing mode) from Hertzian contact theory is accomplished in the latter half of this research. Through nonlinear analysis we could observe the softening characteristic due to the Hertzian contact nonlinearity.

동영상과 책자를 이용한 교육이 환자의 입원생활 이해도와 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of In-patient Guide Movie and Booklet Programs on Understanding of Hospital Life and Satisfaction with the Programs)

  • Purpose: This study was intended to determine how an in-patient guide movie enhanced the understanding of hospital life. Method: A non-equivalent control group post-test design was used for the study. The experimental group was allowed to watch the in-patient guide movie. The in-patient guide booklets were given to the control group for reading. The understanding and satisfaction of the respective programs were surveyed with questionnaires. The data was analyzed using SPSS. Result: The movie watching experimental group had better understanding on the hospital life than the booklet reading control group. The movie watching group had more satisfaction with the guide program than the booklet reading group. The understanding of the hospital life and satisfaction with the program had relevance. Conclusion: This study suggests that the in-patient guide movie would help the would-be in-patients understand and adapt to the hospital life better. Therefore, the in-patient guide movie is considered to be a useful medium to educate in-patients for their hospital life.

2축 직교좌표 로봇에서 2축 직선 운동 가이드가 로봇의 기계적 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of 2nd Axis Linear Motion Guide on Mechanical Performance of Robot in 2-Axis Cartesian Coordinate Robot)

  • Robots in various types carry and assemble parts through repeatedly and accurately moving to stored locations by combining linear motions. And, linear systems are used in orthogonal axes of robots and driven via ball screws, such as 2-axis cartesian coordinate robot in this paper. This paper presents the effect of the linear motion guide that is used in $2^{nd}$ axis in 2-axis cartesian coordinate robot. Some simulation results show that the linear motion guide influence greatly in robot performance such as the nominal life of linear guide. When use LM guide that have capacity near in $2^{nd}$ axis, this paper show that the nominal life on LM block of $1^{st}$ axis increases 37.4% and that the specification of $2^{nd}$ axis LM guide influences greatly the nominal life of $1^{st}$ axis LM block.

  • The navigation problem for a mobile robot is investigated. Specifically, it is proposed that simple guide-marks be introduced and the navigation scheme be generated in conjunction with the guide-marks sensed through camera vision. For autonomous navigation, it was shown that a triple guide-mark system is more effective than a single guide-mark in estimating the position and orientation of mobile robot itself. The navigation system is tested via a mobile robot HERO-I equipped with a single camera in laboratory environment.

  • This paper is concerned with the optimization of the drive for linear-guide press which is one of mechanical presses. The design of linear-guide drive for a mechanical press is introduced and the drive for the linear-guide press is optimized for the improvement of load and velocity characteristics. As a result of optimization, the load capacity during stroke increases and the slide velocity decreases in working region, respectively. The new design could be suited to many applications in precision forming such as extrusion and the sheet metal-forming processes.

  • 초등 과학 교사용 지도서에서 초등교사들이 과학수업을 준비하고 진행하는 과정에서 느끼는 어려움을 해결하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 각론은 중요하다. 2022 개정 교육과정 초등 과학 교사용 지도서를 개발하는 데 시사점을 얻기 위해서는 지도서 각론에 대한 초등교사들의 인식과 요구 조사가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등 과학 교사용 지도서 각론의 구성 요소와 디자인에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 설문지를 개발하여 초등교사들의 인식과 요구를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 초등교사들이 현재 사용하고 있는 지도서 각론의 구성 요소별 필요성, 만족도와 활용도에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 다음으로 지도서 각론의 구성 요소와 디자인 등에 관한 교사들의 요구를 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 수업 준비와 진행에 도움이 되는 구성 요소들에 대해 초등교사들의 만족도가 상대적으로 높았다. 둘째, 초등교사들은 수업에 필요한 구성 요소들을 한눈에 파악할 수 있는 배치와 가독성 높은 디자인 구성을 원하였다. 결론적으로 초등 과학 교사용 지도서 각론은 과학 교수·학습에 필요한 수업 준비, 수업 흐름, 교수·학습 자료 등을 한눈에 파악하고, 가독성 높게 구성해야 함을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구 결과를 토대로 향후 초등교사들이 실제 수업에 활용할 수 있는 교과용도서가 될 수 있게 새로운 접근과 시도를 해야 할 것이다.

Effect of Guide Nozzle Shape on the Performance Improvement of a Very Low Head Cross Flow Turbine

  • The cross flow turbine attracts more and more attention for its relatively wide operating range and simple structure. In this study, a novel type of micro cross flow turbine is developed for application to a step in an irrigational channel. The head of the turbine is only H=4.3m and the turbine inlet channel is open ducted type, which has barely been studied. The efficiency of the turbine with inlet open duct channel is relatively low. Therefore, a guide nozzle on the turbine inlet is attached to improve the performance of the turbine. The guide nozzle shapes are investigated to find the best shape for the turbine. The guide nozzle plays an important role on directing flow at the runner entry, and it also decreases the negative torque loss by reducing the pressure difference in Region 1. There is 12.5% of efficiency improvement by attaching a well shaped guide nozzle on the turbine inlet.

시각장애인을 위한 보행안내로봇 개발 (Development of Walking Guide Robot for the Blind)

  • In this paper, the prototype of a walking guide robot with tactile display is introduced, and the psychophysical experiment of the tactile recognition for a tactile display is carried out and analyzed. The objective of this research is the development of a walking guide robot for the blind to walk safely. A walking guide robot consists of a guide vehicle and a tactile display device. A guide vehicle, located in the front of the walking blind, detects the obstacle using ultrasonic sensors and offers the information of position and walking direction acquired from GPS module to the walking blind by voice. The tactile display device, located in the handle which is connected with the guide vehicle by cane, offers the processed obstacle information such as position, size, moving, shape of obstacle and safe path, etc. The psychophysical experiments for the threshold of perception and recognition ability of tactile stimulation are carried out by the estimation of the subject group. As a result the appropriate tactile stimulus intensity and frequency to recognize tactile stimulation effectively are discussed and derived.
