서비스품질 차원이 의료서비스 만족에 미치는 영향에 있어서 환자가 보호자의 차이 (The Differences between Patients and Guardians in the Impacts of Service Quality Factors on Overall Satisfaction of Medical Treatment Service)

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of service quality factors on overall satisfaction of medical treatment service. Especially, we focused on the differences between patients and guardians in impact of service quality factors. The data was gathered by using a structured questionnaire from 220 patients and 220 guardians. Based the factor analyses, we derived the five factors of medical service quality-process, speciality, kindness, convenience of facilities, and cleanness. Then, we examined the effects of the five service quality factors on guardians' satisfaction as well as on patients' satisfaction. The results of the empirical study showed that the kindness is more important to patients than to guardians whereas the speciality is more important to guardians than to patients.

의료진의 인지된 서비스품질이 환자와 보호자의 서비스 인식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality on service perception of patients and guardians)

  • In this study, we examined the effects of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality(E-PSQ) on patients' perceived service quality(P-PSQ) leading to patients' satisfaction(P-CS) and the effects on guardians' perceived service quality(G-PSQ) also leading to guardians' satisfaction(G-CS). To investigate the causalities of the factors, we collected national wide samples of 144 hospitals, 721 healthcare staffs, 1456 patients, and 1455 guardians of the patients. Followed were contributions of this study. First, healthcare staffs and patients were commonly related by service quality, which meant the increase of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality led to increase of patients' perceived service quality. Second, healthcare staffs and guardians of patients were also related by perceived service quality. Third, patients' perceived service quality would lead to service satisfaction of patients, Fourth, guardians' perceived service quality would also lead to service satisfaction of guardians. The findings implied service managers of hospital settings should pay attention to healthcare staffs' perception of service quality as well as those of patients and guardians. With such strategy, hospitals could survive the drastically changing environments of current healthcare service area.

진단검사 전 처치로 실시하는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 환아 보호자의 인식도와 간호요구도, 간호만족도 (Awareness, Nursing Needs, and Nursing Satisfaction on Conscious Sedation as a Pretreatment for Diagnostic Tests in the Guardians of Hospitalized Children)

  • 본 연구는 환아 보호자를 대상으로 진단검사 전 처치로 실시하는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도와 간호요구도, 간호만족도를 확인하고 변수들 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 D시에 있는 C대학병원 소아청소년과 병동에 입원하여 진단검사 전 처치로 의식하 진정요법을 받는 환아의 보호자 120명이다. 연구결과 대상자의 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도는 비교적 낮은 편이었고(2.49±0.83), 간호요구도(4.53±0.40)가 간호만족도(3.81±0.56)보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<.001). 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도는 간호만족도와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었고(r=.18, p=.048), 간호요구도와 간호만족도도 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다(r=.20, p=.033). 의식하 진정요법에 대한 대상자의 간호만족도를 높이기 위해서는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식 정도와 간호요구 영역들을 먼저 확인하여 대상자의 요구를 기반으로 하는 맞춤형 간호중재가 제공되어야 할 것이다.

충북지역 취약계층 아동을 위한 가정배달 반찬도시락의 섭취현황 및 만족도 (Intakes and Satisfaction of Home-delivered Meal Box for Children from Low-income Families in Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea)

  • The aims of this study were to investigate usage status, menu preference, quality evaluation and satisfaction of home-delivered meal box for children from low-income families in Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea. A total of 320 children and their guardians who had received home-delivered meal boxes participated in 2015. A total of respondents (62.2%) were children and teenagers, and 37.8% were guardians. The 47.7% of children and 43.8% of guardians were using the home delivery service more than one year. Most of the children and guardians answered 'eat almost', 'eat all meals' served meal box, 75.3%, 81.8%, respectively. After receiving the meal box at home, 35.2% of children consumed meals within 1~2 hours, whereas 32.8% of the guardians were ate within 2~6 hours. It was founded that 'throw away leftovers' was the highest and followed 'give it others' in a way to treat leftovers. The results of preference survey on meats, seafood, showed that 'chicken nugget' (4.07) and 'stir-fried fish cake with vegetable' (3.63) were the highest points for children, whereas 'grilled LA beef ribs' (3.98) and 'stir-fried anchovies' (3.72) were the highest point for guardians. 'Seasoned leaves marinated in soy sauce' was the highest preference among vegetables and another dish for respondents. Frozen products were the most preferred types of meal boxes on the menu. In the quality evaluation of home-delivered meal box, although satisfaction with service and packaging of the meal box were high, the satisfaction of food quality was relatively low.

의식하 진정법에 관한 보호자의 인식도 및 만족도 조사 (A SURVEY OF GUARDIANS' COGNITION LEVEL AND SATISFACTION RATE ABOUT CONSCIOUS SEDATION)

  • 본 연구는, 보호자가 바라보는 진정법의 모습과 이를 통해 보호자들이 얻고자 하는 것과 원하는 것이 무엇인지를 알고 보호자들의 높은 만족도와 능동적인 협조를 이끌어 내기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 2006년 7월부터 9월까지 경희대학교 병원 소아치과에 내원한 신환 보호자 168명과 의식하진정법을 경험한 환자의 보호자 50명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 신환 보호자용과 진정법 경험 보호자용으로 제작하여 설문을 실시하였다. 조사결과 다음을 알 수 있었다. 1. 일반적인 의식하진정법에 대한 정보의 제공이 주로 주변 사람들에 의해 제한적이고 수동적으로 이루어 졌으며, 비전문적인 성향임을 알 수 있었고, 또한 소아치과 진료영역에서의 의식하진정법에 대한 정보의 제공이 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 2. 신환 보호자와 진정법을 경험한 환자 보호자 모두에서 환아의 공포감 감소에 가장 큰 관심을 가지고 있었다. 3. 행동 개선보다는 환아의 심리적 개선에 있어 보호자가 느끼는 만족감이 크며, 따라서 진정법 시 행동 개선의 목적 보다는 환아의 공포감 및 불안감 감소에 초점을 두어야 겠다. 4. 신환 보호자의 경우 진정법의 안정성에 대한 인식이 정립되어 있지 않았고, 진정법을 경험한 보호자의 경우 모르겠다는 것과 불안하다는 대답이 대부분을 차지하여 경험을 하였음에도 올바른 안전성에 대한 인식을 하지 못하고 있었다.

포괄간호서비스를 제공하는 간호사의 간호업무와 직무 스트레스, 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study of Nursing Tasks, Nurses' Job Stress and Job Satisfaction in Hospitals with No Guardians)

  • Purpose: Purpose of the study was to investigate task performance, importance, knowledge, and level of job stress and job satisfaction of nurses working in a hospital with no family or family paid auxiliary caregivers. Methods: Participants were 119 nurses working in hospitals with no guardians. The questionnaire contained 488 items: general characteristics, performance, importance, knowledge of nursing tasks, job stress and job satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Most frequently performed nursing tasks were patient nursing management and information management. Nursing tasks perceived as most important were medication and transfusion and nursing tasks with the highest knowledge were also medication and transfusion. Nursing task (subcategory) most frequently performed was oral medication. Nursing task (subcategory) perceived as most important was mental status observation and nursing task (subcategory) with the highest knowledge was vital sign check. Nurses' job stress was significantly associated with job satisfaction. The mean scores for nurses' job stress and job satisfaction were low. Conclusion: The results indicate that nurses working in hospitals with no guardians perform daily living assistance services more often than previously, and nurses need to be prepared to do these tasks.

간호·간병통합서비스병동 입원환자 보호자의 간호서비스 만족도가 병원 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Satisfaction of Nursing Services on the Intention to Revisit in Caregivers of Patients in Comprehensive Nursing Care Units)

  • Objectives: Guardians of patients have a great deal of influence on decision-making in the course of care in Korea. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of nursing service satisfaction on hospital re-use intention in the guardians of patients admitted to comprehensive nursing care units. Methods: The survey was conducted on 151 guardians of patients hospitalized in comprehensive nursing care units of two general hospitals for four months beginning in September 2017. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS/Win 21 software. Results: Nineteen percent of variance in hospital re-use intention was accounted for by reliability (t=3.31, p=.001), empathy (t=2.49, p=.014), and recommendations from others (t=2.49, p=.014). The explanatory power was significant (F=13.06, p<.001). Conclusions: To promote hospital reuse, nurses need to improve the quality of their nursing services. Emphasis should be on reliability and empathy among nursing service components. It is also necessary to consider ways to encourage guardians who used hospitals to recommend them to their acquaintances.

노인병원 선택요인과 만족도가 재이용의사에 미치는 영향 - 환자보호자 관점에서 - (Possible Effects of Senior Hospital Selection Factors and Satisfaction on Revisit Intention)

  • In order to analyze possible effects of senior hospital selection factors and service satisfaction on senior hospital patients' revisit of senior hospital, this study surveyed guardians of total 204 patients hospitalized in major 4 senior hospitals in Busan. As a result, this study came to the following conclusions: First, it was found that guardians considered appropriateness of medical treatment cost as the biggest factor of choice, which was followed by kindness of doctor and hospital employees, locational accessibility (traffic convenience), and doctor's medical capacity. Second, the factor analysis about patients' satisfaction showed that the influential factors consisted of satisfaction at medical staffs, satisfaction at nursing and care, and satisfaction at facilities. Third, there was not significant difference in the overall impression of hospital and the intention of revisit depending upon sociological variables. Fourth, satisfaction at nursing and care and satisfaction at facilities had significant effects on better satisfaction at overall impression of hospital, and it was noted that the shorter admission period and the less complaint led to the higher intention of revisit. Therefore, it is necessary to improve satisfaction at medical staffs, nursing and care, and facilities rather than patients' own sociological characteristics.

노인의료요양시설의 고객충성도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors on Customer Loyalty in Nursing Homes)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influencing factors of customer loyalty among guardians of residents in nursing homes. Methods: The sample of this study consisted of 229 guardians of residents in nursing homes. Data were collected with self-administrated questionnaires and analyzed hierarchical multiple regression. Results: All variables were positively correlated with customer loyalty except the length of stay. It was found that residents' length of stay, customer satisfaction and service value had significant influence on customer loyalty. The explained variance for customer loyalty was 71.3%. The service value had the greatest influence on customer loyalty. Conclusions: These findings provide strong empirical evidence for customer satisfaction and service value in explaining customer loyalty of guardian of residents in nursing homes.

복지차 이용 시 장애인의 불편사항 조사와 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement and the Survey Study on the Complaints of People with Disabilities in the Use of Disabled Car)

  • 본 연구는 장애인 자가 운전 차량과 보호자 운전 차량의 불편사항에 대한 설문조사와 장애인 차량 실차 이용 시 행동조사를 관찰하여 복지차 개발 시 인간공학 설계 기준을 제시하고 불편요소에 대한 개선점을 제안하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자가운전 장애인과 보호자 모두 현재 사용하고 있는 자동차에 대한 불편 정도가 높은 반면, 만족도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자가운전 장애인들도 장애인 보호자들이 가장 불편하다고 응답한 부분인 승 하차 시 보조기구 이동에 관해 공통적으로 불편하다고 하였다. 자가운전 장애인 및 보호자 모두 좌석 시트와 안전벨트 착용 시 발생하는 어려움을 호소하여 복지차량개발 시 장애인 보조기구 이동문제와 더불어 장애인 좌석의 보조공학적 설계, 안전벨트의 안전성 문제 등은 반드시 해결되어야 것으로 분석된다. 셋째, 자가운전 장애인보다 보호자들이 장애인 차량에 대한 불편 정도가 높고 만족도도 낮게 나타났는데 이는 장애인 자가운전 차량에 대한 접근성만을 고려한 복지차량 개발의 관점을 바꾸어야 할 것으로 분석된다. 넷째, 자가운전 차량이나 보호자 모두 차량 승 하차 시 탑승을 위한 보조기구 활용보다는 차량운전이나 차량의 다른 여러 가지 안전장치나 편의시설에 대한 관심이 더욱 높은 것으로 나타나 탑승이나 하차 시의 접근성보다는 안전과 편의성을 위한 설계가 우선 고려되어야 할 것으로 분석된다. 다섯째, 복지차를 개발 시 우선적으로 고려해야 할 사항은 사용자의 편의성으로 이를 위해 장애인을 참여시키는 방안이나 관련 전문가들을 참여시키는 방안들이 검토되어야 할 것으로 분석된다.
