In this paper, focusing on Oscar Wilde's novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray," we explore the protagonist's lack of conscience and unethical attitude, emphasizing its relevance to our self-development and growth. The primary goal is to interpret the impact of Dorian Gray's actions and choices on personal development and growth, highlighting the importance of a specific mindset and attitude to the reader. It dissects how Wilde navigates the intricate layers of Dorian's character, exposing the ethical dilemmas and transformative moments that contribute to the profound changes within him. The examination sheds light on the depth and complexity of Dorian Gray's character, offering readers a nuanced understanding of the forces at play in his moral and psychological journey. Interpretation of Wilde's intent to impart lessons on the reader's personal growth and development through Dorian's story is undertaken. The discussion also explores the impact of Dorian's unethical attitude on contemporary readers and its influence on our daily lives and values.

Japanese "Manga" (Comics) and animation films are very popular among the audiences from many countries. Japan is creating various new cultural contents through comics and animation films, and it became one of the important economic growth driver. Japanese famous comic Naruto, which had been successfully concluded recently, have achieved great success and gained popularity globally. One of the reasons for the success of Naruto is the various characters in the comic. In, there are various characters with different personalities and characteristics. Characters are important factors that makes the story stands out and delivers the story. Furthermore, the characters in the story often reflect the author's psychology and mind. By analyzing the characters' behavior and personalities, the audience can follow the story more interestingly, and understand the author's message better. The objective of this study is to analyze the Naruto's main characters' personality and characteristics through enneagram. Furthermore, the report explains the success of by analyzing the different behaviors that results from different personalities, and the relationship between the characters.

The west stone pagoda of Gameunsa temple site(National Treasure No. 112) has been seriously damaged by surface weathering, and conservation treatment is needed. In the second story body stone, vertical cracks developed parallel to the main compressional axis. The vertical cracks seem to grow much more with the compression. Chemical and biological weathering along the vertical cracks could have enhanced the crack growth. In the third story capstone, the surface cracks strike toward NE and NW directions, which are intersecting each other. In the eastern and southern parts of the third story capstone, lots of vertical cracks develop along the lines from the axial center to outer rim, whereas horizontal cracks are easily observed at the outer rim of the capstone. On the other hand, a few horizontal cracks develop in the western and northern parts of the third story capstone. This fact indicates that the compression along the vertical axis is not uniform in direction. The west stone pagoda leans toward the east and the south, so it is considered that compression by deviatoric stress prevailed at these directions.

Domestic franchise industry is a promising business to more than 10% per year growth rate and emerging as core of retail. In addition, due to the socio-cultural phenomena, including the retirement of the baby-boom generation, the growth of the franchise industry for some time expected to continue. But Domestic franchise reveals that limits to ensure for new franchisees because that few industries are concentrated to advance for franchisor and franchisees. Franchisors that within the industry came to a saturated, are for the growth and expansion of business into new industries to deploy as second, third brand. But reality is that the more success rather than failure. Therefore, in this study is a new brand development approach and case study results it focus on the BEERBARKET's successful story of INTO FRANCHISE SYSTEMS, INC. Case analysis results of this study, are reveled that franchise headquarters derived through research methods and research information, environmental survey and analysis should be continuously and objectively. Thus, based on the derived contents, the new brand Biz-Model should be established for recognition from the industry and customers. Ability to respond sensitively to changes in the environment and business activities can be associated with linking franchise headquarters belonging to the saturated competitive environment more is needed. Through proactively respond Franchise New business launching instance that BEERBARKET's successful story of INTO FRANCHISE SYSTEMS, INC. suggests the need to study about how to respond to environmental changes.

The aim of this paper is to understand the nature of transformation of the Chinese economy. China's approach to the process of economic development in the aftermath of the reforms in the late 1970's has been a success story and a phenomenon of great significance. It helped millions of people move out of poverty and achieve an acceptable standard of life. The economic policy of China was more effective than India's; we measured this effectiveness in terms of two fundamental approach: first, growth was fundamental for ensuring and increasing the wellbeing as it increases total output in China compare to India; second, growth was pro-poor in China, but not in India, during the period 2000-2011. In this paper, we seek to explain how China reduced extreme poverty through reforms, and this reform experience of China stands out for three reasons. The first is renewed thrust on the rural economy and private sector, second is decentralized planning, and third is investment in human resource development. This experience of China's reform success offers a significant lesson for most of the developing countries, especially India, since India has more similarities with China. Therefore, this experience is particularly insightful for India.

Having employed the transitional probability model based on Markov chain, the study was carried out to examine successional trends for community types in the natural deciduous forest of Mt. Jumbong. The species composition of oncoming generation in overstory was estimated from that of mid-story, and the species composition in mid-story was based upon that of understory. Successional trend for each community was predicted from the reorganized probability matrix of tree replacement by the square of climax index, which was evaluated by the factors of light absorption, reproduction, and wood quality. As the result of analysis, following table shows the oncoming generation of steady state and dominant species in overstory and mid-story by community types. Even though Acer pseudo-sieboldianum and Carpinus cordata could hardly reach the canopy layer due to the intrinsic growth form, these species were predicted to maintain high compositional ratio so as to play an important ecological role in the study forest ecosystem.

Dendropanax morbifera Lev.(Araliaceae), Korean endemic and evergreen small tree is a component of evergreen forest and mainly distributed in sourthern region and islands in Korea. The ecological characteristics of 4 natural stands of D. morbifera.(Sundol, Suak, Hannam, and Sangho populations in Cheju island) were studied. In most of the D. morbifera natural stands, the following tree species appeared predominantly: Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii, Carpinus laxiflora, D. morbifera, Quercus glauca, Quercus myrsinaefolia, Camellia japonica, and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum. Two tree species, such as C. cuspidata var. sieboldii and C. laxiflora appeared in the all investigated stands. D. morbifera occupied 17.2% of the upper story, 12.9% of the middle story, and 10.3% of the lower story, respectively. The distribution patterns by Morisita' s Index showed that D. morbifera was distributed randomly in the three stories. The frequency distribution of DBH D. morbifera species showed reverse J-shaped, therefore it seems to remain as a dominant species.

This study studied the life experiences of story grandmother activities on the meaning of a happy life and positive growth for the elderly through phenomenology. This study period was conducted with pre-interviews from March 2021, and research was conducted until July 2022. As for the research method, 9 elderly women were selected as a Colaizzi phenomenological research method suitable for the work of exploring and understanding life as it is, and the following conclusions were drawn. First, the happiness experience of the elderly provides a life that responds to positive changes, gives positive meaning, and actively discovers in a desire-ful life, a comparative life, and a adaptation and coping happy life. Second, the elderly experienced the meaning of life by experiencing the happiness of moments in the self-realized life of the upward · downward theory. Third, the growth of the elderly is a happy change in PERMAS of positive psychology, pursuing life with positive emotions, immersion, and positively related meaning and purpose of life, and growing while looking at life with achievement and strength. Since this study targets elderly women aged 65 or older who are engaged in story grandmother activities, there is a limit to generalizing the research results, so it is suggested to study the growth process of more diverse age groups and various types of volunteer activities in the future.

The current 2002 Indonesian Seismic Code consists of prescriptive criteria that are intended to result in buildings capable of providing certain levels of performance. However, the actual performance capability of buildings is not assessed as part of the code procedures. Several analysis procedures are allowed, and the state of practice is to use the RSA with six-zone seismic map developed for 475-year earthquake. This code is being revised and will adopt many of the ASCE7-10 provisions and 2475-year earthquake for MCE. The growth of tall buildings compels engineers to look for more optimal lateral system. The use of RC core wall as single system has been adopted by very few engineering firms, which is allowed in the current code but will no longer be the case if the new one is in effect. Other innovative structural system such as core wall and outrigger is not addressed in the proposed new code. Engineers must then resort to NLRHA. Currently, one 50-story building under construction using RC core wall and outrigger has been designed with RSA and employing capacity design principles, then evaluated using NLRHA per TBI Guidelines. Based on the evaluation, the performance of the 50-story building generally still meets the criteria of the TBI Guidelines. The result of the case study is presented in this paper.

Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.
