The purpose of this research was to analyze the trajectory of child's academic attainment and the effect of family socioeconomic background on the trajectory. Data were part of the Korea Youth Panel Survey 2003-2005(Middle School 2) and were analyzed by Latent Growth Curve Modeling(LGM). The degree of child's academic attainment decreased over 3 years. Socioeconomic status variables that influenced academic trajectory were family poverty, parent's attainments in scholarship, and family structure. Findings from this study suggest that societal support for low socioeconomic status families is needed for improvement of academic attainment of their children.

To study the influence of background color and substratum on hypermelanosis of starry flounder, we compared the daily food intake (DFI), the feed efficiency (FE), the survival, the growth, the ratio of pigmented area on the blind side and the ratio of hypermelanic fish duplicately reared for 180 days in dark-green FRP aquarium (control), white FRP aquarium together with dark-green substratum. The ratio of pigmented area on the blind side was significantly higher at the dark-green group than at the white group. DFI, FE and growth were higher in the dark-green substratum. Pigmented area rate and ratio of hypermelanic fish were significantly higher at the dark green group than at the high dark-green substratum. The results suggest that bright tank color and substratum bottom could inhibit the hypermelanosis.

Intrinsic layers of homoepitaxial InP grown by the hydride vapor phase epitaxy (VPE) technique were investigated by Fourier-transform photoluminescence(FTPL) and variable temperature Hall measurements. The effect of process variables (i.e., source zone temperature and inlet mole fractions of HCl and $PH_{3}$) on the backgroudn impurity levels was investigated. The background carrier concentration was found to decrease with decreasing source zone temperature and increasing HCl, but was relatively independent of $PH_{3}$ for the range of mole fraction studied. The presence of background donors and acceptors was clearly verified in the FTPL spectra, and the major impurities were tentatively identified as Si donors and Zn acceptors as well as some unidentified acceptors.

Rapid economic development has led seafood consumption to its quality - oriented pattern as well as consumer's in China. This study concerns about The First, China is Seafood development background. The study shows that there are economic developmental periods Chinas has three time. The First time$(1961\sim1983)$ is rapid growth. The Second time$(1984\sim1998)$ is growth accumulate. The third time$(1999\sim)$ is changing on seafood consumption as the consumption of seafood is changed according to economic variables changes in income, price, tastes and population. This changing pattern of seafood consumption is based on economic variables appears toward luxury and convenience seafoods. Consumption of food is also affected by non - economic variables. The most typical non - economic variables leading to changes of seafood consumption is local, seafood culture, $et{\ldots}$ Recently seafood consumption pattern shows that consumers paying more money to get their seafood preference for pursuing its hight growth and varienty.

This study tried to analyze the growth background of Starbucks, a competitive company in the Korean coffee industry. Therefore, by using the STEEP analysis technique, each company's competitiveness was analyzed and the results were used to derive competitive factors. And the research results are as follows. Looking at the social aspect, economic activity has been a catalyst for women as the standard of living has increased due to economic growth. In addition, in the case of coffee culture in the past, Starbucks' response strategy, which has seen the transformation from vending machine mixed coffee culture to a consumer market that emphasizes cultural and spatial aspects, was effective. Looking at the technical aspect, the deviation has been reduced by securing uniform standardization of the taste of coffee beans at franchise stores, and the operation of a standardized operating system was possible by operating the store directly. And looking at the economic aspect, as the coffee consumption market continues to expand, the overall size of the market has also grown proportionally, creating a stable growth environment. Lastly, looking at the environmental and policy aspects, it is that the marketing strategy direction based on the policy activities as an eco-friendly company as a market leader has been the main focus of the recent policy direction emphasizing eco-friendliness.

This study analyze empirically how the characteristics of a venture business' founder and company development stage will affect on B2B transactions and business management difficulties based on "2012 Survey of Korea Venture Firms". According to this study, there are different frequencies of difficulties in B2B transactions depending on the founder's age and educational background as well as different recognitions about business management difficulties with considering the founder's age, educational background, major and other factors. It is analyzed that in educational background factor, master's degree and in major factor, humanities and social science show comparatively frequent business management difficulties. On the other hand, it is analyzed that there is not meaningful difference in the recognition about the difficulty-frequency in B2B transactions in each company growth stage. It is considered that the difficulties occur frequently in every company growth stage but, these types of difficulties are solved routinely. At the Exit phase, however, there is high recognition about business management difficulties as the transaction with the companies in this stage is avoided.

Growth of pigs is influenced by many factors. To assist pig producers in the evaluation of alternative feeding and management strategies growth models have been developed. In the Netherlands the Technical Model Pigfeeding (TMV) is developed. This model predicts the influence of feed intake, feed composition, genotype, sex and climate on growth, body composition, gross margin and mineral excretion of healthy growing/finishing pigs. The purpose of TMV is to support information services, feed companies, researchers and students. In addition to providing accurate predictions, a model should also be user-friendly and wishes of the user should be taken into account to stimulate application of the model in practice. In this paper, the theoretical background of TMV and a methodology to stimulate application of models in practice will be described.

Purpose - Taxes cover all aspects of society, especially in terms of resource allocation and economic growth. In reality, the tax revenue is often used to measure the quality of a country's economy. The relationship between tax revenue and economic growth has been paid much attention by academic circles. Due to this background, this paper attempts to investigate the mutual effect between tax revenue and economic growth. Research design, data, and Methodology - The annual datum form 1980 to 2017 are employed to conduct an empirical analysis under the vector error correction model. In this paper, the GDP is treated as an independent variable. The tax revenue is treated as a dependent variable. Furthermore, a menu of statistic approaches will be used to testify the mutual effect between tax revenue and economic growth. Results - Via the co-integration test, the results report that the tax revenue has a positive effect on economic growth in the long run. Through the vector error correction estimation, the results also report that the tax revenue also has a positive effect on economic growth in the short run. Conclusions - This paper provides a view that the tax revenue is a kind of a determinant to promote economic growth. Therefore, the China's government should pay much attention to the improvement of tax revenue system so as to maintain a high-speed economic growth.

Background: Owing to stress of external appearance and bad sleeping by itching, children with atopic dermatitis grow slowly. Object: The purpose of this study is estimation of growth degree on children with atopic dermatitis Method: During I year from 2001 till 2002, it became the object of studing that 45 children with atopic dermatitis and random sample 45 children without atopic dermatitis, without another disease related to growth from 2 years to 10 years in Dep. of Pediatrics, Dongguk university Bundang Oriental Hospital. Result: Height percent of children with atopic dermatitis is more lower than Height percent of children without atopic dermatitis out of considering for the distinction of sex and age. The more atopic dermatitis is severe, the more height percent of children with atopic dermatitis is lower Conclusion: Atopic dermatitis is related to the growth on children.

The recognition of the natural background radiation is important not only for radiological education but also for the promotion of people's scientific view about radiation. We made a "room" on the web showing natural background radiation as part of a VRM (Virtual Radiation Museum). The "room" shows the video images of the tracks of charged particles from natural background radiation, alpha and beta ray track from known sources using a Large Scale Diffusion Cloud Chamber. The purpose of this study is to make clear the origin of a kind of track (named A-track) which is thick and easy to recognize with the length less than several cm in the cloud chamber, and to make numerical explanation of its counting rate. The study was carried out using a Large Scale Diffusion Cloud Chamber (Phywe, Germany) installed in the Niigata Science Museum. The Model RNC (Pylon Electronics, Canada) was used as Rn-222 source. Ra-226 activity in RNC was 111.6 Bq calibrated with NIST protocol. Rn-222 gas was injected into the cloud chamber. Continuous video recording with use of Digital Handycam (SONY, Japan) was carried out for 360 min. after injection of Rn-222 gas. The number of alpha-ray track (alpha track) in the video images was analyzed. The growth and decay curve of the total activity of Rn-222 and its alpha emitting progeny were calculated and compared with the count of the alpha tracks. As a result the alpha tracks formed by Rn-222 injection resemble A-Tracks. The relationship between A-track in the cloud chamber and atmospheric Rn is discussed.
