다양한 농도 공급원의 조합을 통한 역전기투석 장치의 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Reverse Electrodialysis System with Various Compositions of Natural Resources)

  • 농도차발전은 전 세계적으로 높은 잠재적 에너지량으로 인하여 최근 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 양이온과 음이온의 선택적 분리를 통하여 전기를 생성하는 역전기투석을 이용하여 다양한 농도 공급원의 조합으로부터 성능을 평가하였다. 역전기투석 장치의 분극곡선은 전류가 증가할 때 전압이 선형적으로 감소하였고, 최대출력밀도는 내부저항과 외부저항이 일치하는 부분에서 얻어졌다. 내부 유로두께가 감소하고 공급유량이 증가할 때 역전기투석 장치에서 생성되는 출력이 증가하는 것을 발견하였고, 공급유체의 펌핑에 의해 발생되는 출력 손실을 고려한 정미출력은 공급유량이 22.5mL/min 에서 최대값을 가졌다. 최종적으로 담수화 브라인, 해수, 강물, 폐수, 기수를 조합하여 역전기투석 장치의 성능을 평가하였고 정삼투 과정에서 발생하는 브라인과 강물을 이용할 때 $1.75W/m^2$ 으로 최대값을 얻었다.

휠체어 디자인 특성에 따른 효율의 차이 규명 (Analysis on the differences of mechanical efficiency from design characteristics of wheelchair)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate differences of the mechanical efficiency on the characteristics of the basketball wheelchairs(cambers & size of the handrims). Nine healthy and normal wheelchair basketball players who had no impairments to their upper extremities were volunteered to participate in this study. $VO_2$ was collected using automatic gas analyzer(vmax29). Gross efficiency, net efficiency and work efficiency were analyzed from the calculated external power output and energy expenditure. The results were followed. First, gross efficiency in the basketball wheelchairs was observed across the range from 4 to 10%. Gross efficiency in this study showed less values than that from the literature reviewed in the arm cranking(15%), racing wheelchair(above 30%), gait(27%) and cycling(18-23%). Second, the small size of handrim(61cm) at the 16 degrees of camber produced higher efficiency values than the large size of handrim(66cm) whereas the different sizes of handrim at the 20 degrees of camber did not show any pattern. Third, both faster speed($1.11^m/s{\rightarrow}1.39^m/s$) and increases in treadmill inclination produced increases in energy expenditure. The results of this study may provide not only better understanding of the mechanical efficiency with adequate camber degree and proper size of handrim but also fundamental information for manufacturing the wheelchair.

  • Wolsong Unit 2,3&4 has been performing a containment integrity test during power operation. This test could impact to the safe operation during test. If an accident occurs during pressure dropping phase, reactor trip can be delayed because of the increased pressure difference which causes a time delay to reach the trip set-point. On the contrary, if an accident occurs during pressure increasing phase, reactor trip could be accelerated because the pressure difference to the trip set-point decrease. Point Lepreau nuclear power plant, which installed GCLMS (Gross Containment Leakage Monitoring System) in 1990, has discontinued the test since 1992 due to these adverse effects. Therefore, we evaluated the risk to obviate the GCLMS test based on PWR's ILRT (Integrated Leak Rate Test) extension methodologies. The results demonstrate that risk increase rate is not high in case of performing only ILRT test at every 5 years instead of doing GCLMS test at every 1.5 years. In addition, the result shows that GCLMS test can be removed on a risk-informed perspective since risk increasement is in acceptable area of regulatory acceptance criteria.

항내 예선의 적정규모 결정에 관하여 (On Determining the Optimal Amount of Barbour Tagboat)

  • As port transport system consists of subsystems such as navigation system, cargo handling system, storage system, inland transport system, and Management and Information system, the productivity of this system is determined by the minimum level of subsystem. From the viewpoint of elaborating the efficiency of integrated system, it is valuable to determine the optimal level of harbour tug boat which is the most important factor of navigation system. This paper treats the optimal amount of harbour tug boat by simulation, and applied to Pusan port. In the course of simulation, an emperical formula is introduced for determining the Horse Power (HP) of tug boat by the ship's gross tonnage (G/T) refering to the cases of various ports of other countries, that is ; $Y=9.96X^{0.6}+569$. X : The gross tonnage of vessel (G/T). Y : The Horse Power (HP) of tug boat. The results of the simulation are summarized as follows ; 1) In 1987, three or four low-powered harbour tug boats, five mid-powered harbour tug boats and four high-powered harbour tug boats are necessary in the mean level. But, five or seven low-powered harbour tug boats, ten mid-powered harbour tug boats and eight high-powered harbour tug boats are necessary lest delay should occur at all. 2) In 1992, 1lee or four low-powered harbour tug boats, six mid-powered harbour tug boats and seven high-powered harbour tug boats are estimated and be necessary in the mean level.

로지스틱 회귀모형과 머신러닝 모형을 활용한 주요산업의 부산 지역총생산 및 고용 효과 예측 (Prediction on Busan's Gross Product and Employment of Major Industry with Logistic Regression and Machine Learning Model)

  • This paper aims to predict Busan's regional product and employment using the logistic regression models and machine learning models. The following are the main findings of the empirical analysis. First, the OLS regression model shows that the main industries such as electricity and electronics, machine and transport, and finance and insurance affect the Busan's income positively. Second, the binomial logistic regression models show that the Busan's strategic industries such as the future transport machinery, life-care, and smart marine industries contribute on the Busan's income in large order. Third, the multinomial logistic regression models show that the Korea's main industries such as the precise machinery, transport equipment, and machinery influence the Busan's economy positively. And Korea's exports and the depreciation can affect Busan's economy more positively at the higher employment level. Fourth, the voting ensemble model show the higher predictive power than artificial neural network model and support vector machine models. Furthermore, the gradient boosting model and the random forest show the higher predictive power than the voting model in large order.

Sensititivity Analysis For Development Of Gulf Of Alaska

  • It was attempted to analyze the sensitivity of the oil prospect place named MARIA which placed inside Gulf of Alaska. For the analysis, P6031090, ECOANA( computer) which installed in the head office, Shell Oil Co was used and the data needed for computer programming were 1) Unit of Production data 2) Production Schedule 3) Total Gross Yearly Expenses and 4) Total Gross Capital and so on. The important data among the computer output 1) PVPAT (Present Value After Tax): $1,167,077,500 2) Payout After Tax: 3.14 Years (256,284,810 BBL Production) 3) Earning Power: 42% (After Tax) 4) PVPAT/BBL : $1.22 5) Capital/BBL : $2.00. On the other hand, the effect acted upon PVPAT with varying the Platform cost, Facility cost, Pipeline cost and Well cost was observed in comparion with the basic for range from 50% to 200%. Resultantly, the order was 1) Pipeline cost 2) Facility cost 3) Well cost 4) Platform cost for range form 100% to 200%. This project was completed by the contract with Shell Oil Co., and the geological data needed for this analysis were given by the head office and the development project started from Jan. 1976.

  • Remote Sensing Monitoring and Loss Estimated System of Flood Disaster based on GIS is an integrated system comprised flood disaster information receiving and collection, flood disaster simulation, and flood disaster estimation. When the system receives and collects remote sensing monitoring and conventional investigation information, the distributional features of flood disaster on space and time is obtained by means of image processing and information fusion. The economic loss of flood disaster can be classified into two pus: direct economic loss and indirect economic loss. The estimation of direct economic loss applies macroscopic economic analysis methods, i.e. applying Product (Industry and Agriculture Gross Product or Gross Domestic Product - GDP) or Unit Synthetic Economic Loss Index, direct economic loss can be estimated. Estimating indirect economic loss applies reduction coefficient methods with direct economic loss. The system can real-timely ascertains flood disaster and estimates flood Loss, so that the science basis fur decision-making of flood control and relieving disaster may be provided.

  • 발전소 온배수 및 폐열을 이용한 1 MW급 폐쇄형 해양온도차발전 사이클에 대한 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 폐쇄형 해양온도차발전 사이클에 대한 열역학적 모델은 랭킨 사이클이고, 기화기 증발 열원으로 발전소 온배수를 이용하여 사이클 효율, 기화기 및 응축기 열량 등 사이클 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 발전소 온배수 온도가 증가함에 따라 기화기 내 증발 포화압력은 상승하게 되고 그로 인해 사이클 효율은 증가하였고, 총 출력 1 MW에 필요한 기화기 및 응축기 용량은 감소하였다. 따라서 발전소 온배수는 폐쇄형 해양온도차발전에서 주요한 열원으로 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 주위 이용 가능한 폐열이 있을 때 기화기 출구 작동유체와 열교환시켜 터빈으로 유입되는 작동유체의 온도를 상승시킨다면 사이클 효율은 크게 증가할 것이다.
