  • Each robot plays a role of its own behavior in dynamic robot-soccer environment. One of the most necessary conditions to win a game is control of robot movement. In this paper we suggest a win strategy using Cellular Neural Network to set optimal path and cooperative behavior, which divides a soccer ground into grid-cell based ground and has robots move a next grid-cell along the optimal path to approach the moving target.

  • The Solar energy is either used as a solar thermal energy or converted to electrical power through power conversion system. The latter method is defined as a solar cell changing the solar energy into the direct electric energy or power conversion that convert the dc power into ac power.For the solar cell to be a practical alternative energy, the study should be focused not only on the solar cell ,but also the power conversion system for common power source. In this study, we get the suitable power to common load ,using Ag Grid DSC(Dye-sensitized solar cell). Our purpose is to achieve the common solar cell power generation system ,using converter and PWM(Pulse width modulation) inverter system controled by DSP.

  • 파리협정의 체결로 신 재생에너지 보급이 활발해지고 있다. 국내의 경우 공공건물 중심으로 신 재재생에너지 보급 정책이 진행되고 있으며, 건물 내에 설치가 비교적 수월한 연료전지 시스템의 보급이 확대될 전망이여서 계통연계형 연료전지 전력변환장치의 단독운전방지 평가 연구가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 연료전지 전력변환장치의 국내 인증기준 KGS AB934 PC53이 해외 규격과 부합하는지 검토해보고 계통연계 시 중요한 안전성능인 단독운전방지 평가에 대해 분석하였다. 또한, 병렬로 연결된 두 대의 전력변환장치의 단독운전방지 평가를 위한 시작품을 제작하고 실증 평가를 통해 여러 대의 연료전지 시스템이 설치되고 있는 상황에 맞는 안전성능 확보 방안을 연구하였다.

Comparison of Different Vehicles on Human Embryonic Stem Cells using Vitrification

  • Vitrification has been suggested to be an effective method for the cryopreservation of human ES cells. However, the efficiency of vitrification with different vehicles remains a matter of ongoing controversy. The objective of this study was to assess the efficiency of cryopreservation in human ES cells by vitrification using different vehicles. A human ES cell line and a variety of vehicles, including micro-droplet (MD), open-pulled straw (OPS) and electron microscopic grid (EM-grid), were employed in an attempt to assess vitrification efficiency. In order to evaluate the survivability and the undifferentiated state of the post-vitrified human ES cells, we conducted alkaline phosphatase staining and characterization via both RT-PCR and immunofluorescence assays. The survival rates of the post-vitrified human ES cells using MD, OPS and EM-grid were determined to be 61.5%, 66.6% and 53.8%, respectively. There also exist significant differences between slow-freezing and vitrification (p<0.01). However, no significant differences were detected between the vehicle types. Finally, the pluripotency of human ES cells after thawing was verified by teratoma formation. Cryopreservation using vitrification is more effective than slow-freezing, and the efficiency of vehicles proved effective with regard to the preservation of human ES cells.

  • The polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) with the advantages of low-operating temperature, high current density, low cost and volume, fast start-up ability, and suitability for discontinuous operation becomes the most reasonable and attractive power system for transportation vehicle and micro-grid power plant in a household. 200W PEMFC(Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell) system applied to middle and small-scaled micro-grid power system was constructed by this study, then the electrical characteristics and diagnosis of the fuel cell were analyzed with thermal variation.

  • There are typically applied on both rear and front sides of electrical contacts to the solar cell. The front contact formation is particularly sensitive to many parameters. Accordingly patterning of front grid line is an important factor of solar cells. This paper describe the electrical conversion efficiency, inclusive of shading loss that gives various spacing between front metal grid lines. In experiments with variation of spacing. It was verified that the wide spacing of grid fingers could increase the series resistance, also the narrow spacing of grid fingers also implies a grid with a higher density of grid fingers. The sunlight of incidence was more of reflection by grid fingers. In result, the short circuit current, which contribute to conversion efficiency was decreased, because maximum power input was reduced and increase the series resistance.

  • Recently, smart grid for solving energy problems have been receiving growing attention. Also, renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic and fuel cell as future energy for realizing smart grid have been widely studied. On the other hand, hybrid structures have been proposed since the output power of these renewable energy sources is usually dependent on weather conditions. This paper proposes a hybrid system involving a proper photovoltaic in the hybrid system, Polymer Elecrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell with water electrolyzer and ultracapacitor. The results of simulation and output of the proposed model are established and analysed by Matlab/Simulink and SimPowerSystems.

셀중심법에 의한 축대칭 극소 로봇의 압축팽창운동에 대한 수치적인 연구 (A Numerical Simulation based on Cell-centered Scheme for Contractive and Dilative Motion on Axisymmetric Micro-hydro machine)

  • Flow mechanism of contractive and dilative motion is numerically investigated to obtain a propulsive force in highly viscous fluid. An axisymmetric code is developed with unstructured grid system based on cell-centered scheme. It is validated by comparing with the results of Stokes approximation for the problem of uniform flow past a sphere in low Reynolds number(R$_{n}$=1). The validated code is applied to the simulation of contractive and dilative periodic motion of body whose results are quantitatively compared with the two dimensional case. In order to investigate the grid dependency, two different grids are applied to the present computations. The present study provides key information for the development of an axisymmetric Micro-hydro-robot.t.

FDTD를 이용한 격자형 페라이트 전파흡수체 특성 해석 (FDTD Analysis of the Absorption Characteristics for Grid Ferrite Electromagnetic Wave Absorber)

  • The reflectivity of a grid ferrite electromagnetic wave absorber is analyzed using finite difference time domain (FDTD) method, which is usually used in anechoic chambers for EMI / EMS test. The frequency dispersive characteristics of ferrite medium and its boundary condition are modeled using magnetic flux in addition to E- and H-fields. By applying Floquets theorem, FDTD analysis of the grid ferrite absorber with periodic infinite array is simplified as a unit cell problem. The method of homogenization which is mainly utilized in the calculation of absorber reflectivity as a low frequency technique takes only into account volume fraction of the unit cell of the absorber except for the structure of medium geometry. However, the presented method in this paper can analyze the geometry effect of the unit cell with its medium characteristics up to high frequency region.

  • The phase angle of the utility voltage is used in current control of grid-tied fuel cell power converter. Therefore if the detection of phase angle is a problem, Current control is affected by the distorted phase angle. This paper presents a problem of synchronous reference frame PLL algorithm for single-phase systems and proposes compensated synchronous reference frame PLL algorithm. The proposed method helps power quality improvement of grid-tied fuel cell power converter under distorted utility conditions. Simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
