The Effect on Scenic Impression by Different Construction Methods of Green Wall

  • This study aims to understand how different construction methods impact scenic preference of green wall and clarify features of each construction method to help select the most suitable construction method for the wanted image of a green wall by providing the basic data for further development and distribution of green wall. Questionnaire developed by the Repertory Grid technique proved that 11 adjectives can be used to describe scenic features of a green wall and 4 preference elements. The result of the Scenic evaluation, the Felt type scored high in 'Aesthetic' and 'Maintenance' meaning that it is the most suitable method when constructing a green wall to improve urban scenery. Regression analysis was conducted to understand the link between the preference elements and scenic impression of a green wall. The result is that the higher the preference is on the design of a green wall, the higher the score is for 'Aesthetic'. Also, the higher the preference is on Bio-Diversity, Design, Growth, the higher the score is for 'Natural'. The above findings can be important measures and reference for selection of the right construction method when planning a green wall.

아파트 단지의 녹지조성에 대한 주민의식과 가상평가법 적용에 관한 연구 (The Residents' Perception and the Application of Contingent Valuation Method for Green Areas in Apartment Housing Blocks)

  • This study is designed to derive a cost estimation method for the management of green areas in apartment housing blocks. For this purpose, quantity of green areas, their usages, management techniques were analyzed through a survey of residents. In this process, contingent valuation method(CVM) is utilized to evaluate the cost of green areas. The survey was conducted for about two weeks in June of 2002. The amount of willingness to pay(WTP) for green area management is calculated by the CVM program. The findings are as follows; First, the residents want more green areas in their apartment blocks, as well as in the surrounding urban areas, due to the shortage of green areas in their living environments. Second, the residents' opinion on green area is summarized as that of natural environment protectionist - it helps living environment to be more amenable and contributes the preservation of urban and global environments. This fact can be interpreted as the peoples profound recognition toward green areas. Third, the contingent valuation method(CVM) is suitable to evaluate WTP for management costs of green areas. Fourth, more than half of the residents(61.6%) agreed upon the costs of green area supply and management. calculated by the CVM. Estimated WTP is ₩ 1,900~2,400 per month per household.

농촌어메니티 및 도시수요를 고려한 그린투어리즘 잠재력 평가기법 개발 (Development of Green-Tourism Potential Evaluation Method Considering Rural Amenity and Demand of Citizen)

  • The objectives of this study are to develop a green tourism potential evaluation method with rural amenity and demand of citizen. The new index which was named GPD(green tourism potential degree) is designed to propose the green tourism potential of rural areas using spatial analysis of geographic information system and spatial interaction of gravity model. And in order to evaluate the green tourism potential with supply side and demand side, two indices were defined; One is green tourism demand degree(GDD) which is developed to quantify a demand side potential by the analysis of urban population and urbanization index, and the other is green tourism attraction degree(GAD) which is developed to quantify a supply side potential by the analysis of rural amenity values using AHP algorithm, based on opinion of related experts. The developed method was applied to a part of Kyounggi province, Seoul and Incheon. All the study area's GAD, GDD and GPD were assessed and the proposed green tourism potential evaluation method could be used in developing rural development plans and green tourism policies considering spatial interaction with citizen and green tourism resources.

기술.가정교과에서의 녹색 정보기술 실천방안 연구 (A Study on Green Information Technology Practical Method in Technology.Home Economics Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 기술 가정교과에서의 녹색성장 교육과 관련된 연구에 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 녹색 정보기술 실천방안을 개발하고 녹색 정보기술 실천방안을 적용한 수업이 학생의 녹색 정보기술 실천에 영향을 미치는지를 구명하는데 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 문헌 분석을 통해 녹색 정보기술 교육의 실천방안을 개발하였고, 녹색 정보기술 실천 방안을 적용한 검사지를 제작하였다. 둘째, 녹색 정보기술 실천 방안을 수업에 적용하였다. 셋째, 녹색 정보기술 실천 방안 검사지를 통해 대전에 위치한 D중학교 학생(남 62명, 여 59명)을 대상으로 사전 사후검사를 실시하여 결과를 비교하였다. 연구를 통해 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 녹색 정보기술 실천방안 적용 수업이 컴퓨터, 모니터 및 데이터 둥 학생들이 생활 속에서 직접적으로 접하는 항목의 녹색 정보기술 실천에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 점을 통해 향후 기술 가정 교과에서 녹색성장 교육과정 개발 시 생활과 밀접한 내용을 보다 많이 고려하여 편성하여야 함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 녹색 정보기술 실천 방안 적용 수업이 프린터, 주변기기 및 기타 항목에서의 녹색 정보기술 실천에는 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 그러나 향후 보다 많은 학생들이 프린터 및 주변기기를 보유할 것을 예상하여 이러한 항목들에 대한 실천 방안을 보다 면밀히 연구할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 녹색 정보기술 실천에 대한 남학생과 여학생의 차이는 없었다. 이를 통해 녹색성장과 관련된 교육 내용을 편성할 때 남학생과 여학생을 특별히 구분하여 개발할 필요가 없음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Green Slope(F.F.R : Fabric Form Reinforcement Method) is one of an environmental slope protection method at steep cutting sites. This method is that soil and rock at the steep slope is fixed using the environmental Fabric Form, Nail, Rock Bolt and Rock Anchor, And then, the surfaces covered with grasses or weeds. This method will be satisfied both safe slope protection and natural environment appearance. Green Slope is a useful method of the construction sites of steep cutting slopes.

On a Symbolic Method for Fully Inhomogeneous Boundary Value Problems

  • This paper presents a symbolic method for solving a boundary value problem with inhomogeneous Stieltjes boundary conditions over integro-differential algebras. The proposed symbolic method includes computing the Green's operator as well as the Green's function of the given problem. Examples are presented to illustrate the proposed symbolic method.

FDTD 방법과 분수 함수 근사법을 이용한 다층 구조에서의 Green 함수 근사화 (Approximate Method of Multi-Layer Green's Function Using FDTD Scheme and Rational Function Approximation)

  • 본 논문에서는 1차원 모드 방정식의 FDTD 해석 결과와 분수 함수 근사법을 이용하여 다층 구조의 Green 함수를 근사화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 파수 값에 따른 FDTD 해석 결과를 Fourier 변환 과정을 거쳐 spectral domain 상에서 Green 함수를 계산한다. FDTD 수치 해석 결과로 얻은 Green 함수에 분수 함수 근사법을 적용하여 pole과 residue를 계산하여 Green 함수를 분수 함수로 근사화 한다. 제안된 방법은 path-loss 계산 방법 중 하나인 정상 모드(normal mode)에 사용할 수 있다. 단일 주파수 해석에 유효한 기존의 정상 모드 방법과는 달리 본 논문에서 제안하는 FDTD 기반 방법은 광대역 해석을 할 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 유용성을 입증하기 위해 정상 모드 해석기반의 Kraken 시뮬레이터 결과와 공진 모드의 pole 값을 비교한다. 또 알려진 해석해를 갖는 문제에 제안된방법을 적용하여 정확도를 검증하였다.

  • 정확한 closed-form 근린함수 계산방법은 공간영역 그린함수에 포함된 Sommerfeld 적분의 계산시간을 줄이기 위해 기존에 이용되어온 복소 영상법(Complex image method)과 2단계 근사화법(Two-level approach)에 비해 훨씬 적은 오차를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 정확한 closed-form 그린함수 계산방법을 일반적인 전원을 포함하는 평판구조에 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다.

Measurement of Free Polysaccharide in Tetanus Toxoid-Conjugate Vaccine Using Antibody/Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation

  • A method that effectively precipitates capsular polysaccharide of Haemophilus influenzae type b (polyribosylribitol phosphate, PRP) conjugated to tetanus toxoid (TT), PRP TT in a liquid vaccine has been developed to measure free PRP present in TT-conjugate vaccine. The method involves adding anti-TT antibody and ammonium sulfate to precipitate PRP-TT conjugate and measuring free PRP in tile supernatant. This new method provides a complete precipitation of the total PRP-TT, and provides an accurate and reproducible measurements of free PRP. The accuracy of the assay was confirmed by spiking known amounts of unconjugated PRP to PRP-TT conjugate, and the new method was found to have no effect on free PRP while precipitating PRP-TT. The published acid precipitation method did not produce reproducible results due to incomplete precipitation of PRP-TT, especially when the vaccine is formulated in a salt-buffered solution.

급식소에서 생산되는 닭고기 샐러드의 녹차추출물 첨가에 따른 미생물적 품질 평가 (A Study on the Microbial Quality Control of Chicken Meat Salad by Adding Green Tea Extracts in Foodservice Operations)

  • This study was aimed to determine microbiological quality by adding green tea extracts to chicken meat salad. For this study, Chicken meat salad were prepared with two production method. (method 1: addition of green tea extracts to boiling phase, method 2: addition of green tea extracts to salad dressing) Microbiological effects of green tea extracts were assessed during production process by measuring process time, temperature, pH and Aw and determining total plate counts and coliforms. Effects of green tea extracts on total plate counts and coliforms were observed during holding at 3, 10, $25{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ for 12 hours. Green tea extracts improved the microbiological quality and showed antibacterial properties when they are added to chicken meat salad.
