친환경인증건축물 Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center에 나타난 친환경계획요소의 특징 및 사용자평가 연구 (Implementation and Evaluation of Green Building Features: Case Study of Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center)

  • In the United States, the implementation of the LEED green building rating system has dramatically changed the construction industry to motivate construction participants to employ green building approaches into projects. The objectives of green building rating systems are to achieve the triple bottom line benefits including economic, social and environmental benefits that are able to not only provide an excellent amenity to building users, but also to reduce environmental problems associated with buildings and accomplish financial benefits. Since the implementation of green building features has many benefits, the purpose of this study is to identify occupants' satisfaction of green building and the transformation of occupants'' attitude toward sustainability by conduct an in-depth case study of the cutting-edge green building project located in Atlanta, GA, USA. Based on this case study, it is possible to suggest construction participants in Korea to identify how green building can improve occupants'' satisfaction of the building and change their attitude toward sustainability.

  • IT기술의 발달과 더불어 국내산업계는 저탄소 녹색성장에 대한 관심이 증대하고 있다. 기존 건축물들의 막대한 에너지 소비량을 보았을 때 건설산업은 이러한 동향의 중심에 서있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 따라서 보다 효과적이고 정량화된 방법에 따라 건축물의 친환경 성능을 분석하고 관리하는 친환건설경영이 요구되어지고 있다. BIM이 가지고 있는 객체기반의 파라메트릭 모델링 기술과 생애주기관리의 개념은 친환경 건축물의 성능을 분석하고 관리하는데 유용한 도구가 될 것으로 여겨지며, 따라서 본 연구에서는 친환경건설의 필수 관문이라고 할 수 있는 친환경 인증의 평가항목에 있어서 BIM기반의 시뮬레이션 시스템을 제안하였다. BIM 기반의 친환경건축물 시뮬레이션은 친환경인증의 준비 과정 및 시공과정에서 보다 합리적인 의사결정을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Using green construction equipment, there are some disadvantages like increasing construction costs and delaying the schedule. Despites of disadvantages, green construction equipment is necessary for decreasing environmental load in construction industry. Therefore, this study proposed checklist for green construction equipment selection. For the checklists, criteria of the checklist were drawn by literature review in the aspects of contractor and a survey was performed in order to measure weights of the criteria. When a contractor choose the green construction equipment, this checklist can support an objective decision-making.

녹차밭 방문객의 지각된 가치가 만족과 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Perceived Value on Satisfaction and Revisit Intention of Green Tea Farm Visitors)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of perceived value on the satisfaction and revisit intention of green tea farm visitors. The sample was obtained during the three month period from May 19th, 2006 to May 21st, 2006, and out of 800 copies of questionnaire, 597 copies responded with sincerity were analyzed. First, the perceived value of visitors in green tea farms seemed to have effective relations with satisfaction. Second, the perceived value of visitors in green tea farms seemed to have effective relations with revisit intention. Empirical evidence is obtained for both regional economy and industry and the development of tourism products. Specially, findings from this study suggest that perceived value are strong predictors of revisit intention to green tea farms in Hadong-gun. Several implications for the research result and actual application practices are discussed.

  • Recently due to the crisis of environment and resources, construction industry that effects a lot on nature than any other industries is essentially required to consider environment element through the life cycle. With the increase in the demand for sustainable and environmentally-friendly development, Green Building Certification System came into force in 2002. Lots of advanced countries and Korea have been running green building certification system. But many people of Korea is getting interested in LEED. We spend too much money to get a LEED Certification. So we need to develop our own green building certification that fits our environment. In this study, we are going to compare GBCC with LEED to develop our Green Building Rating System.

녹차음식에 대한 내용분석연구 -1990년대 이후의 문헌을 중심으로- (A Study on the Content Analysis of Green Tea Food -Focused on the Literature Published since the 1990's-)

  • The purpose of this research is to understand features of the present condition of green tea food by analyzing the data on tea foods presented in Korean literature after the 1990's (two articles from professional journals related to tea culture, and three books related to tea food). The main conclusions are as follows: 1. It is found from separating 354 different kinds of green tea foods into three categories - main dishes, side dishes and desserts - that there are 137 kinds of side dishes, 123 kinds of desserts, and 94 kinds of main dishes from green tea foods. Upon dividing these into smaller categories, there are 40 rice dishes, 27 noodle dishes, 18 gruel dishes and 9 dumpling dishes found among the main dishes; 26 pan fried dishes, 24 potherb/cooked potherbs dishes, 17 deep-fried dishes, 15 soup/broth dishes, 14 grilled dishes, 11 smothered dishes, 10 hard -boiled/fried dishes, 6 kimchi dishes, 4 dried food dishes, 4 jelly dishes, 4 stew dishes, and 2 raw fish dishes among the side dishes; and 37 snack dishes, 36 punch/drink dishes, 26 rice cake dishes, and 24 bread dishes are found among the desserts. 2. There are 201 kinds of green tea foods using powders, 107 kinds using wet tea leaves, 61 kinds using dry tea leaves, 57 kinds using water of drawn tea, and 17 kinds using wild tea leaves, according to analysis of teas used for green tea foods. There is more use of powder for snacks, punch and drinks, rice cakes, noodles, and breads, and more use of wet tea leaves for rice, pan fried food, and potherb/cooked potherb dishes. It is also shown that there is more use of water from drawn tea for rice, punch and drinks, noodles, and gruels, more use of dry tea leaves for snack, rice, breads, and more use of wild tea leaves for deep-fried and pan fried kinds of tea foods.

녹차에 의한 회색계열 염색에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dyeing of Gray Tone Utilizing Green Tea)

  • This study aims to attain gray tone dyed goods by using tannin that is contained in green tea. Tannin is given general name of polyphenol, which has a characteristic that bonds with protein and it is used for food preservative that protects against bacteria, as well as its purpose of black tone dye for silk treatment that has been processed since its early ages. In particular, as tannin reacts with all kinds of metallic mordant and changes to various colors, when tannin acid is combined with iron, it becomes tannin steel and produces gray tone color. Tannin that is contained in green tea is condensed tannins and its structure does not hydrolyze, thus having flavan type structure. In order to find the suitable condition for processing tannin, UV-Vis part absorption spectrum of green tea tannin, dye ability based on temperature and time, reflection rate based on concentration, color changes based on acid treatment and alkali treatment, changes on surface based on concentration or metal mordant condition, and lightfastness were measured. Maximum absorption wavelength (${\lambda}_{max}$) of green tea tannin was at around 273nm, while strong absorption was also observed at below 350 nm. Dye ability of green tea tannin is done more easily on silk rather than cellulose fibers such as cotton, while the optimum condition for dyeing was observed to be at $60^{\circ}C$, for 20 minutes. As a result of acid treatment, the color of dye material consisted highly of gray tones and showed overall gray tone with the combined color of yellow and red after the alkali treatment. While it was observed that as dye concentration and metal mordant concentration increased, the color changed at counter-clockwise direction on the Y-scale of Munsell's scale of colors. Additionally, lightfastness was more on a normal fading.

  • Recently, the Korean government has been making efforts to achieve 'creative economy' based on science and technology. As part of these efforts, it has been promoted specific policies for innovation and performance enhancement of national R&D projects. They contains commercialization of research outcomes, technology transfer, technology based startup and support small and medium-sized businesses. The railroad transportation industry is a representative in the field of SOC and has own characteristics different from other industry areas. Especially, industry and market of railroad transportation are directly related to planning and implementation of government SOC policies. So in order to promoting commercialization of railroad transportation projects, it is very important to ensure consistency between government policies and R&D projects. In this paper, we investigate barriers of successful commercialization with typical researchers in the area of railroad transportation, and suggest problems and improvements of policy-based commercialization by giving specific examples.

다회로 LVDC 전력망 안정화를 위한 운영 알고리즘 실증 (Demonstration of Operating Algorithm for Stabilizing Multi-LVDC Power Grid)

  • In recent years, as the demand for distributed power has increased, the need for microgrids connected to grid power and renewable power generation sources has emerged. In the case of DC microgrids, reactive power does not occur, and power conversion losses are reduced compared to AC when connecting to the load and power grid[2]. With the revitalization of the DC distribution network industry, various studies and demonstrations of DC microgrids have been carried out. In the case of the recent unit distribution, its stability and effectiveness have been verified through empirical and research analysis. However, there is a lack of empirical tests to prevent chain accidents for the protection of the power grid circuits and the misoperation of the distributed power system caused by individual accidents when connecting various distributed power sources and power grids. In this paper, the operation plan of a stable multi-circuit DC distribution connection for the demonstration site was verified through the protection cooperation and operation algorithm for the stable linkage management of the DC distribution network composed of such a multi-circuit.

패션 산업의 그린마케팅 현황 연구 (Green Marketing in the Fashion Industry)

  • The environment and green are critical issues for businesses in the $21^{st}$ century. This study examines product assortments of eco-friendly products, green marketing strategies, and the marketability of Trashion products among fashion brands. Data were collected through an interview method from eight fashion brands that were actively conducting green marketing. The general activities of green marketing were to produce eco-friendly products and/or an economical support for environmental groups or green conservation campaigns. Eco-friendly products included organic cotton products, well-being products made of bamboo or beans, goods made of recycled plastic bottles, and Trashion items. The first reason was to improve the brand image, then take social responsibility, and last participate in the environmental movement. However, the price of green products and supplies of eco-friendly fabrics were the most challenging issues for fashion businesses. The marketability of Trashion products was directly opposed and managerial implications for green marketers were discussed.
