Green Frame is a building frame system to construct a column-beam structure using composite precast concrete members. To reduce the cost of producing precast concrete, in-situ production of members is required. However, when the structural members are produced on site, it needs a large space for production. So, "Just-In-Time" production method should be adopted. For Just-In-Time to be realized, the early strength of members should be ensured for them to be transported. Thus, steam curing to secure the early strength is applied in Green Frame. Yet, a large-scale steam curing system is not possible for in-situ production of precast concrete. A smaller steam curing system is needed. In this regard, the study is aimed to develop a new steam curing method applicable to the in-situ production of precast concrete.

This study has developed a design indicator required to promote green remodeling in school facilities. And, implemented the green remodeling pilot test on the school facilities that are planning actual remodeling. This pilot test suggested user participation design methodology such as verification of the developed design indicator, design goal setting, evaluation and adjustment of design proposal. The Green Remodeling Design Indicators were classified into 3 large categories of architectural performance, usability, and design through analysis of cases related to 'green buildings' and 'remodeling'. We have developed nine middle categories such as architectural and structural performance, facility performance, environmentally-friendly, circulation, space, amenity, harmony with surroundings, form and symbolization. In addition, 42 detailed indicators were developed for each category, including general, functional, and special indicators. For the verification of this study, two green remodeling design workshops were conducted for Gwangju J elementary school. The first design workshop presented the importance of the design indicator and set the goal of the design plan of green remodeling for project. And, the second Workshop presented the evaluation of the satisfaction with the design and the direction of future adjustment for project. The design indicator developed in this study can be utilized as a design indicator of design quality management and decision system for the school green remodeling in the future. In addition, by accumulating information on the Green Remodeling Project, it is necessary to spread green remodeling and construct a sustainable building environment.

This study proposes the difference of awareness and improvement plan of building-related landscape systems through a cognition survey of building owners, public officials, and experts. The main results are as follows. First, all three groups are highly aware of the need to secure urban green spaces. Even if private property rights are restricted, the level of awareness that green space should be secured for public benefit is high. The level of interest in the building-related landscape system was also surveyed to a greater degree. Second, the survey respondents, including the building owner group, answered that there is a need to strengthen the building-related landscape area standards. It can be seen that there is a need to revise the relaxation of the building-related landscape area standards through an amendment of the Building Ordinance in many local governments. Third, most municipalities are not equipped with an organizational system that can promote the work of building-related landscape. It is necessary to newly hire civil servants for landscape design, maintenance, and management specialization, or to expand co-working relationships with related departments. Fourth, building owners are interested in building-related landscape, but they do not know specific management methods and leave the landscape space. The municipality needs to offer guidance on landscape architectural design and construction methods that the building owners can easily follow and to support the voluntary landscape space management on the part of the local residents by supporting the trees. Fifth, in order to improve the building-related landscape system, it is necessary to verify the effect of the building-related landscape and spread a consensus. At the government level, in order to enable building owners to recognize the value of the landscape space in connection with an urban regeneration project, it is necessary to present an example of an excellent building-related landscape installation via a pilot project.

This paper proposed the method to reduce and manage the amount of using power by using the Self-Learning of inference engine that evolves through learning increasingly smart ways for each spaces with in the Space-Based Energy Management System (SEMS, Space-based Energy Management System) that is defined as smallest unit space with constant size and similar characteristics by using the collectible Big Data from the various information networks and the informations of various sensors from the existing Energy Management System(EMS), mostly including such as the Energy Management Systems for the Factory (FEMS, Factory Energy Management System), the Energy Management Systems for Buildings (BEMS, Building Energy Management System), and Energy Management Systems for Residential (HEMS, Home Energy Management System), that is monitoring and controlling the power of systems through various sensors and administrators by measuring the temperature and illumination.

This study investigated Chinese Laws on the kind of urban green spaces and the legal requirements for the green spaces of urban habitat and analyzed the specificities of them intending to provide basic data to suggest bringing in or not the relevant Chinese Laws to Korea. This study can be summarized as follows: First, the concept of Chinese urban green spaces(g.s.) classified by 5 kinds(park g.s., production g.s., protection g.s., attachment g.s., the others g.s.) placed the park and green spaces in the same category unlike the Korean urban green spaces that only distinguishes between park and green spaces. The Chinese Urban Park is classified by 4 kinds(composite park, community park, special park, linear park) at the 'Standard for urban green spaces classification' which is below in rank of the legal system. Second, in case of calculation for green spaces ratio of urban green spaces in China, the green rooftop landscaping area should not be included as a green spaces area except the rooftop of a basement or semi basement building to which residents have easy access. The green spaces requirements and compulsory secure ratio by 3 habitat kinds(habitat, small habit, minimum habitat) of when to act as a residential plan is regulated. Third, the green spaces system is obligated to establish at habitat green spaces plan and is specified to conserve and improve existing trees and green spaces. The green spaces ratio on reconstruction for old habitat is relaxed to be lower than for new habitat and a gradient of green spaces is peculiarly clarified. The details and requirements for establishment and the minimum area intending for each classes of the central green spaces(habitat park, children park, minimum habitat's green spaces) are regulated. Especially at a garden style of minimum habitat's green spaces, intervals between the south and north houses and a compulsory security for green spaces area classifying into two groups(closing type green spaces and open type green spaces) by a middle-rise or high-rise building are clarified. System of calculation for green spaces area is presented at a special regulation. Fourth, a general index(area/person) of public green spaces within habitat to achieve by 3 habitat kinds is determined, in this case, the index on reconstruction for a deterioration zone can be relaxed to be lower to the extent of a specified quantity. A location and scale, minimum width and minimum area per place of public green spaces are regulated. A space plot principle including adjacent to a road, greening area ratio against total area, security of open space and the shadow line boundary of sunshine are also regulated to intend for public green spaces. Fifth, the minimum horizontal distance between the underground cables and the surrounding greening trees are regulated as the considerable items for green spaces when setting up the underground cables. The principle to establish green spaces within public service facilities is regulated according to the kind of service contents. It shall be examined in order to import or not the special regulations that only exist in Chinese Laws but not in Korean Laws. The result of this study will contribute to gain the domestic landscape architect's' sympathy of the research related to Chinese urban green spaces laws requiring immediate attention and will be a good chance to advance into the internationalization of Korean Landscape Architectural Laws.

Pollinators are organisms that carry out the pollination process of plants and include Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera, and Coleoptera. Among them, bees not only pollinate plants but also improve urban green spaces damaged by land use changes, providing a habitat and food for birds and insects. Today, however, the number of pollinating plants is decreasing due to issues such as early flowering due to climate change, fragmentation of green spaces due to urbanization, and pesticide use, which in turn leads to a decline in bee populations. The decline of bee populations directly translates into problems, such as reduced biodiversity in cities and decreased food production. Urban beekeeping has been proposed as a strategy to address the decline of bee populations. However, there is a problem asurban beekeeping strategies are proposed without considering the complex structure of the socio-ecological system consisting of bees foraging and pollination activities and are therefore unsustainable. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the socio-ecological system of honeybees, which are pollinators, structurally using system thinking and propose a green space planning strategy to revitalize urban beekeeping. For this study, previous studies that centered on the social and ecological system of bees in cities were collected and reviewed to establish the system area and derive the main variables for creating a causal loop diagram. Second, the ecological structure of bees' foraging and pollination activities and the structure of bees' ecological system in the city were analyzed, as was the social-ecological system structure of urban beekeeping by creating an individual causal loop diagram. Finally, the socio-ecological system structure of honey bees was analyzed from a holistic perspective through the creation of an integrated causal loop diagram. Citizen participation programs, local government investment, and the creation of urban parks and green spaces in idle spaces were suggestedas green space planning strategies to revitalize urban beekeeping. The results of this study differ from previous studies in that the ecological structure of bees and the social structure of urban beekeeping were analyzed from a holistic perspective using systems thinking to propose strategies, policy recommendations, and implications for introducing sustainable urban beekeeping.
In apartment complexes of Korea shared space becomes more and more important since it promotes social relationship among neighbors and also as a ecological point of view. After the Green Building system was introduced in the society, it attracted more attentive as an essential component for sustainable community. Now, it's expected the shared space plan or the community center plan will be a hot issue in the society. Therefore, we could see an aspect of the gradual change related to housing culture in Korea and make a prediction how to develop the shared space as researching domestic leading studies about the 'shared space'. The purpose of this study is to identify the trend of academic achievement as shared spaces. 14 books and 43 studies are searched and each of them are divided into according to the subject. The concept of the shared space was introduced in a holistic moment and the design plans were presented in books in the early 1990's, and total community center it was introduced. The studies are naturally divided into 4 parts as time passed that are characteristics of the block planning in the complex, the needs of the shared space, the actual condition of the using shared space, and the case studies of the shared space. The shared spaces under the structure of the community center are expected to be developed in a more elaborate way to cope with increasingly well-being needs.
The rapid increase in the number of climate disasters combined with the scale of change and the diversification of natural disasters require a radical solution. In particular, the urban space is more complex, therefore we need to establish measures for disaster response and how to react to damaged infrastructure based on the phenomenon of an increase in the urban population and the impermeable layer being extended. The social problems related to the economic burden of land purchase and the securing of a disaster prevention system can be solved simultaneously by introducing the park system for disaster reduction into the public land of the green space in the city. The local government has recently adapted diverse systems of disaster mitigation and carried out pioneer projects according to the guidelines for the construction of the urban park for disaster prevention published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The purpose of this study is to propose a composition model for neighborhood parks to prevent disaster through urban green spaces which has the functions of water management and biotope conservation. The result of this study will contribute to utilize the climate change adaptation model for living area neighborhood parks in the existing urban structure.

This research is to propose a rational criterion of the selection and the management f the roadside trees, and to establish the planting design and system with the objective of improving the roadside environment. All of the roadside trees in each objective courses in Kangnung, and the soil disposition, hardness of the soil in the planting areas have been investigated. Also, we have surveyed the kinds of the trees which kandgnung inhabitants want. The conclusion is as follows Most of roadsides have trees, but they need the introduction of shrubs or ground covering plants according to the locations and the environmental conditions. We have selected nineteen species in regard to the roadside tree criterion and the growing conditions living in Kangnung. It is desirable that we make banding style planting space between each roadside tree to improve the low ratio of green coverage. We have found out that Ligustrum obtusifolium, Buxus micropnylla, Euonymus japonica, Rhododendron schlippenbachii, Phyllostachys nigro and Rosa rugosa, ect. are suitable. In order to soften and weaken the rigidity of the hard substances on a paved roadside, the climbers such as the perennial herbaceous flowering and hedera rhombea should be preferred rather than annual herbaceous flowering because of curtailment of expenditure. To posses a systematical greenery frame in kangnung, we have planned a planting design system that would expand the greenery space every year. Moreover, we have to make a plan to overcome space restrictions. We have established a flexible plan considering the roadside conditions and the improved standard planting methods with an ultimate aim to create a special roadside view.
Low-carbon green waterfront cities for overseas cases were reviewed to propose the direction for Korea. The implications suggested include energy saving by resource circulation, compact land use planning, transit oriented development, and utilization of renewable energy. These in turn suggest the following implementations; (1) Energy saving according to compact city, complex land use, and transit oriented development, (2) Renewable energy use in buildings and daily lives, (3) Expansion of green space for carbon mitigation and improved quality of life, and (4) Water and resource circulation system. We finally discussed that development of the green waterfront cities in Korea requires the fundamentals of low-carbon green waterfront cities achieved by overseas cases study and technical investigation.
