Development of jaw motion measuring system using double stereo-visions (Double Stereo Vision을 이용한 아래 턱 운동 측정 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose a system that is configured with double stereo-visions to measure jaw movement. This new system measures not only left and right hinge points of jaw motion but also floating paths of hinge points during lateral and protrusive movement. The resulting 3D position and path data can also be used for 3D graphic simulation technique for occlusion diagnosis and therapy. The system also considers the compatibility with conventional occlusion therapy devices.

  • The TCAD(Technology Computer Aided Design) software tool is a popular name to be able to simulate the semiconductor process and device circuit. We have developed a two-dimensional TCAD software tool included an editor, parser, each process unit, and 2D, 3D graphic routine that is Integrated Environment. The initial grid for numerical analysis is automatically generated with the geometric series that use the user default(given) line and position separated with grid interval and the nodes corresponding to each mesh point stoic the all the possible attribute. Also, we made a data structure called PIF for input or output. Methods of ion implantation in this paper arc Monte Carlo, Gaussian Pearson and Dual-Pearson. Analytical model such as Gaussian, Pearson and Dual-Pearson were considered the multilayer structure and two-dimensional tilted implantation. We simuttaneously calculated the continuity equation of impurity and point defect in diffusion simulation. Oxidation process was simulated by analytical ERFC(Complementary Error Function) model for local oxidation.

  • The above-Knee Prosthesis has been used by the handicapped person and become a important part of their life. But uniform above-knee prosthesis only increases inconvenience And so the tool that can estimate and help to design of suitable prosthesis for user need to be developed. The simulator developed in this research is composed of two part. One is hardware that can realize various walking motions. The other is software that can display and analyze the results of walking mot ion. Three motors constitute hardware of Simulator. Two motors are used to realize heap motion that need two degree of freedom and the rest one used to realize swing motion. Software of Simulator display results of three motor trajectories and walking mot ion of hardware using computer graphic. Therefore, The simulator developed in this research which is able to realize human gait and results are analyzed through simulation program at PC will be some help to design and produce of prosthesis suitable to user.

  • The CAD system for design and drawing of limit gauges was constructed and developed. This system was made by Visual Basic program. Using this system, drawings together with concerned data for the manufacturing of limit gauges are generated on the screen, file and printer. The data base was constructed by referring handbooks, textbooks, relevant standards and regulations. This system was proved a powerful tool for design and drawing of limit gauges by actual applications. The output drawings from this system are in good agreement with the drawings and data of the concerned standards and regulations.

  • This paper describes some research of Computer-Aided Process Planning and Die Design of Hot Forging for axisymmetric parts produced by the press. An approach to the system is based on knowledge based system. The system has been written in AutoLisp with personal computer. Knowledges for process planning & die design are extracted from the plasticity theories, handbooks, relevent references and empirical know-how of field experts in hot forging companies. The developed system is composed of five main modules, such as input module, process planning module, die design module, flow simulation module and output module which are used independently or in all. The final output is generated in graphic from. The developed system which aids designer provides powerful capabilities for process planning and die design of hot forging. This system also provides approximate flow pattern.

  • Currently virtual studio has used the cromakey method in which an image is captured, and the blue portion of that image is replaced by a graphic image or a real image. The replaced image must be changed according to the camera motion. This paper proposes a novel method to extract camera parameters using the recognition of pentagonal patterns which are painted on the blue screen. The corresponding parameters are position, direction and focal length of the camera in the virtual studio. At first, pentagonal patterns are found using invariant features of the pentagon. Then, the projective transformation of two projected images and the camera parameters are calculated using the matched points. Simulation results indicate that camera parameters are more easily calculated compared to the conventional methods.

  • This paper is related to a performance analysis of B-NT system, which is essential compositional equipment of B-ISDN access network. A simulator enabling performance analysis according to the change of network configuration topology and the change of user traffic is developed in this study. The developed B-NT, system simulator consists of graphic user interface module, simulation program automatic generator module, and B-NT system model library module. As examples of the results of performance analysis using the simulator, end-to-end user cell transmission delay time, queueing delay time in each system, and cell loss rate in the head node switch are presented. The simulator developed in this paper can be utilized in determining the network topology of B-NT system.

  • This paper describes implementation of a robot programming system for automation of manufacturing products, which is embedded in the C programming language. World representation and motion primitives necessary to describe a manipulator task are provided by a set of procedure calls and user defined data structures. Off-line programming is implemented with graphic simulation as a debugging tool. PUMA 560 manipulators are used as a model for one task which inserts a nonstandard power IC Iota PCB. Communication facilities are provided for collision avoidance or two manipulators.

  • The reliability and probabilistic generation production cost evaluation of composite power systems are important for power system operation and expansion planning. This paper present a computer program which can evaluate the reliability and probabilistic generation production cost of composite power system using GUI(Graphic User Interface). In this computer program, Monte Carlo simulation methods and CMELDC(CoMposite power system Effective Load Duration Curve) were used.

  • This paper is intended to provide a method to design control software for the TCMS, train control and monitoring system. The TCMS with this control software will be applied KOREA Standard EMU. The control software is designed by SCADE Case tool to concern safety and reliability. The function for the EMU is implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. The control software has modular design and each module is tested with SCADE simulator. This time we focus a door control module, present a design method and a simulation method for that module.
