시뮬레이터를 이용한 B-NT 시스템 성능분석 (Performance analysis of the B-NT system using simulstor)

  • This paper is related to a performance analysis of B-NT system, which is essential compositional equipment of B-ISDN access network. A simulator enabling performance analysis according to the change of network configuration topology and the change of user traffic is developed in this study. The developed B-NT, system simulator consists of graphic user interface module, simulation program automatic generator module, and B-NT system model library module. As examples of the results of performance analysis using the simulator, end-to-end user cell transmission delay time, queueing delay time in each system, and cell loss rate in the head node switch are presented. The simulator developed in this paper can be utilized in determining the network topology of B-NT system.

A compatibility verification environment for HDL-modeled microprocessors

  • This paper describes the simulation environment that verifies whether a new microporcessor described with HDL is compatible with an existing microprocessor. The compatibility verification is done by showing that the new microprocessor executes the OS(Operating System) program used in the existing microprocessor without any modification of its binary code. The proposed verification environment consists of a virtual system and a graphic user interface (GUI) module. Each module is independently designed based on serve-client model and three exists a communication part for information interchange between the two modules. This paper describes the method of constructing the verification environment and presents the compatibility verification environment of the x86 microprocessor as the simulation result.

  • The death from suffocation due to the gas from various disaster is frequent very and it occurs. Specially only from the company which treats the gas and only the enterprise which maintains the gas the many greeting accident occurs. Also accidents could occur when working around the toxic gas without one's noticing Therefore a development of the portable gas ditectoror is very essential. Specially with development of design and the new product of the electric chemical sensor might help reducing the many accidents. From the side which protects a worker's life, it isn't just simple equipment but also it must be connected directly to life saving is very important. Therefore, the key technical contents of development must be focused on sensor which is simple and easy to carry and able to detect varieties of toxic gas. So, this study is about the product design which is simple and easy to carry and to use.

  • 본 연구에서는 Boland C언어를 사용하여 최적설계 수행에 필요한 작업을 쉽게 수행할 수 있는 전처리기와 후처리기를 개발하였다. 전처리기는 선택된 최적설계 알고리즘에 필요한 입력 데이터나 서브루틴 작성을 도와준다. 후처리기에서는 반복 계산중에 생성된 수치값을 그래프로 도시해 줌으로써 문제에 대한 전반적인 파악이 가능하도록 하였다. 수치예제는 선형문제와 삼부재 구조물에 대해서 제시하였다.

  • This paper summerizes the former 5 papers that studied computer programming for the estimation of the Weibull, Extreme value, Hazard, Normal and Log-normal parameters which have a close relation with the reliability of the various kinds of industrial products. Probability paper is very commonly used in estimating the parameters, however, it is very hard to neglect the errors in plotting the data, and especially in drawing the regression line. The main purpose of this paper is to reduce these errors and to help the engineers to use the parameters in improving the reliability of their prod- ucts. The following parts are included in the computer programming with the em- phases on significant digits and rounding of numerical values : $\bullet$ data input part for various cases $\bullet$ parameter estimation part $\bullet$ printing part for input data $\bullet$ printing part for the results $\bullet$ printing part for the graphic(probability paper). And the running results(monitor displays) of the program for a fictitious example of Weibull distribution is given for the interested ones.

  • 본 논문에서는 근전도(EMG) 신호를 이용하여 휴먼보조 장치나 원격 제어에 활용할 수 있는 가상 로봇 팔 제어 방식을 제안한다. 4개의 표면 전극에서 근전도 신호를 측정하여 SOM과 LVQ를 이용하여 동작을 분류하는 시스템이다. 인터페이스 프로그램은 PC 상에서 구성하였다. 제안한 방식의 실험결과 94%의 분류 성공률을 얻었다.

3개의 광 마우스를 이용한 강건한 광학식 거리주행계 (Robust Optical Odometry Using Three Optical Mice)

  • This paper presents the robust mobile robot localization method exploiting redundant motion information acquired from three optical mice that are installed at the bottom of a mobile robot in a regular triangular form. First, we briefly introduce a low-cost optical motion sensor, HDNS-2000, and a commercial device driver development tools, WinDriver, to be used in this research. Second, we explain the basic principle of the mobile robot localization using the motion information from three optical mice, and propose the least squares based localization algorithm which is robust to the noisy measurement and partial malfunctioning of optical mice. Third, we describe the development of the experimental optical odometer using three PC optical mice and the user-friendly graphic monitoring program. Fourth, simulations and experiments are performed to demonstrate the validity of the proposed localization method and the operation of the developed optical odometer. Finally, along with the conclusion, we suggest some future work including the installation parameter calibration, the optical mouse remodelling, and the high-performance motion sensor adoption.

  • In this study, we design a position controller for two axis servo system. The position controller performs numerical control(NC)to DC or AC servo motor or step motor, and also has a digital input/output sequence capability. The control program composed of position and sequence command, which is called channel, is programmed easily and user-interactively. And it is interpreted and the straight line and arc position command is interpolated. We develop the Z80 microprocessor based system and the software with assembly and C language, and also PC based graphic simulator for the debugging and educational purposes.

시나리오 기반의 생태마을 계획 및 설계 지원 GIS도구 개발 (Development of a Scenario-based GIS Tool for Planning and Design of Eco-Village)

  • A tool to assist in designing an eco-village was developed using GIS(Geographical Information System) and RS(Remote Sensing) data and images. The difficulties of using GIS by untrained designers are resolved by simplifying the usage and making it a user friendly scenario-based tool, so that the designers with limited knowledge in GIS can use as a design tool. For this task, Da-Mu-Po, a village in Pohang, Gyeongbuk was picked as a site to test the design tool; through planning and designing as an eco friendly village, we tested the flexibility and usability of our newly developed design tool. From this experiment we also introduced test version of stand-alone GIS design tool by constructing program scenario and GUI(Graphic User Interface).

A Simulator for Calculating Normal Induced Voltage on Communication Line

  • The current flowing through the overhead transmission lines causes induced voltage on the communication lines, which can be prevented by calculating the induced voltage at the planning stage for overhead transmission line installment through an agreement between the communication and electric power companies. The procedures to calculate the induced voltages, however, are complicated due to the variety of parameters and tower types of the overhead transmission lines. The difficulty necessitates the development of a simulator to measure the induced voltage on the communication lines. This paper presents two simulators developed for this purpose; one using the Data Base (DB) index method and the other using the Graphic User Interface (GUI) method. The simulators described in this paper have been implemented by the EMTP (Electromagnetic Transient Program).
