The objective of this study was to determine the status of current chapel courses and analyze the necessity of online chapel courses. Students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems, and advantages of current chapel courses were examined. Students' preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses were also determined. Finally, hypothesis tests for the differences of students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems and advantages of current chapel courses, preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses according to gender, school year grade, major of study, and religion were performed. Students' low interest in chapel courses was verified. Even Christian students' interest was below 3 points out of 5-point Likert scale. However, students whose religion was not Christianity felt more coercion and had less interest in chapel courses. They wanted virtualization of chapel courses more. They had more willingness to faithful participation in online chapel courses. This research suggests that virtualization of chapel courses as a solution to chapel resistance is dependent on student's characteristics such as religion, major field of study, and mindset.

Ovarian cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in gynecological malignancies. Over 70% of ovarian cancer cases are high-grade serous ovarian cancers and have high death rates due to their resistance to chemotherapy. Despite advances in surgical and pharmaceutical therapies, overall survival rates are not good, and making an accurate prediction of the prognosis is not easy because of the highly heterogeneous nature of ovarian cancer. To improve the patient's prognosis through proper treatment, we present a prognostic prediction model by integrating high-dimensional RNA sequencing data with their clinical data through the following steps: gene filtration, pre-screening, gene marker selection, integrated study of selected gene markers and prediction model building. These steps of the prognostic prediction model can be applied to other types of cancer besides ovarian cancer.

In this study to improve the chloride durability of the shotcrete structure depending on types and contents of mineral admixture chloride resistance was evaluated by NT BUILD 492 of european test standards. It was also evaluated with the mechanical properties such as static strength and chloride penetration resistance. For shotcrete mixed crushed stone aggregate of the maximum size 10mm of coarse aggregates was produced. Based on 28days compression strength the variable mixed with 15% silica fume showed the highest strength in 67.55MPa. As the content of fly ash and blast furnace slag increased, the strength lowered. In the chloride penetration resistance test, OPC showed "high grade" and In the case of admixture, the penetration resistance tended to increase in all variables except the fly ash. In order to evaluate the service life, the accelerated chloride penetration test was conducted by the standards of KCL, ACI, FIB. Test results were obtained with the lowest spreading factor in a variable mixed with silica fume of 15%. At the KCI standards, It was found to have a service life of about 65 years and at the FIB standards, It was found to have a service life of 131 years. Among standards, the service life of KCI standard in all of the variables was evaluated as the lowest.
This study evaluated the fatigue resistance characteristics of hot-mix recycled asphalt mixtures which were prepared by a new blending method. Since the binder of RAP shows higher viscosity without being rejuvenated in the ordinary recycled mixture, this new(modified) blending method was developed for obtaining more uniform level of binder viscosity in the recycled mixture. Cold-planned RAP was collected and mix design was performed using 15% RAP content for two virgin aggregate, gneiss and granite. Penetration grade of 60-80 asphalt was used in mixing recycled mixture together with a polymer modifier, LDPE. Indirect tensile fatigue tests were carried out to evaluate characteristics of fatigue resistance of performance of recycled asphalt mixtures. The recycled mixtures with LDPE 6% showed higher repeated loading fatigue life. Fatigue life ratio of new(N) mixing method mixtures was approximately 0.6-0.7 before aging and 0.8-1.0 after aging treatment of ordinary(O) mixing method mixture. This means the N mixture becomes stronger with aging process increase. If further aging is treated, N mixture may be showing stronger resistance than O mixture.

This study is on development of UV-cured hard coating compounds which have more improved abrasion resistance than existing UV-cured urethane-acrylic resin, to prevent a surface of a widely used PVC tile as a constructive material from being scratched. To make a high abrasion resistant hard coating solution compared to UV-cured urethane-acrylic resin which has no abrasion resistance and been used for PVC tiles, we added powder substances of different abrasion resistant level, $Al_2O_3$(Al-160SG-3), $Al(OH)_3$(SH-8W), $SiO_2$(KS-5000), etc., to the resin, changing their contents from 10% to 30% against quantities of resin, and compounded it using Ring-Mill. After coating PVC tiles with the hard coating solution using bar-coating method that can adjust a thickness, we estimated some surface properties-abrasion resistance, pencil hardness, adhesive power, thickness of coating, and so on. As a result, a hard coating solution added 30% $Al_2O_3$ powder to the resin had the finest surface properties-the first grade in abrasion resistance, H in pencil hardness, 100% in adhesive power, and a hard coating solution which showed excellent solidity and abrasion resistance has smaller particle size, higher powder content, and thicker coating thickness.

Cellulose insulation is primarily manufactured from recycled newsprint and treated with fire retardants for the fire resistance. Thanks to the fire retardants, it is not combustible and flammable. In addition to that, Its thermal resistance is much better than that of fiberglass or rock wool. It is made from waste paper and easily decayed when it is demolished, and it has small embodied energy. So it is very environment-friendly building material. For broader use of cellulose insulation in buildings in Korea, it is necessary to test its physical performance to compare the results with the requirements on the Korean Building Code. To this end, apparent thermal conductivity (ka) measurements of Korean-made loose-fill cellulose insulations were recently completed using equipment that was built and operated in accordance with ASTM C 518 and the fire resistance was tested in accordance with ASTM C 1485. Korean loose-fill cellulose has thermal conductivity about 5% greater than the corresponding U.S. product at the same density. This is likely due to differences in the recycled material being used. Both spray-applied and loose-fill cellulose insulation lose about 1.5% of their thermal resistivity for $5.5^{\circ}C$ increase in temperature. The fire resistance of cellulose insulation is increased in linear proportion to the increase of the rate of fire retardant. Thanks to the high fire resistance, cellulose insulation can be used as a substitution of Styrofoam or Urethane foam which is combustible. The thermal conductivity of cellulose insulation was $0.037-0.043W/m{\cdot}K$ at the mean specimen temperature from $4-43^{\circ}C$. It corresponds to the thermal resistance of "Na Grade" according to the Korean Building Code. The effect of chemical content on thermal conductivity was negligible for all but the chemical-free specimen which had the highest value for the thermal conductivity over the temperature range tested. The thermal resistance of cellulose insulation is better than that of fiberglass or rock wool, and its fire resistance is higher than that of Styrofoam or Urethane foam. Therefore it can be substituted for those above considering its physical performance. Cellulose insulation is no more expensive than Styrofoam or rock wool, so it is recommended to use it more widely in Korea.
OBJECTIVES : The objective of this research is to develop additives for the modification of Solvent DeAsphalting Residue (SDAR) to be used as pavement materials, and evaluate the performance of asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified by developed additives. METHODS : The SDAR generally consists of more asphaltenes and less oil components compared to the conventional asphalt binder, and hence, the chemical/physical properties of SDAR are different from that of conventional asphalt binder. In this research, the additives are developed using the low molecular oil-based plasticizer to improve the properties of SDAR. First, the chemical property of two SDARs is analyzed using SARA (saturate, aromatic, resin, and asphaltene) method. The physical/rheological properties of SDARs and SDARs containing additives are also evaluated based on PG-grade method and dynamic shear-modulus master curve. Second, various laboratory tests are conducted for the asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified with additives. The laboratory tests conducted in this study include the mix design, compactibility analysis, indirect tensile test for moisture susceptibility, dynamic modulus test for rheological property, wheel-tracking test for rutting performance, and direct tension fatigue test for cracking performance. RESULTS : The PG-grade of SDARs is higher than PG 76 in high temperature grades and immeasurable in low temperature grades. The dynamic shear modulus of SDARs is much higher than that of conventional asphalt, but the modified SDARs with additives show similar modulus compared to that of conventional asphalt. The moisture susceptibility of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is good if, the anti-stripping agent is included. The performance (dynamic modulus, rutting resistance, and fatigue resistance) of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is comparable to that of conventional asphalt mixture when appropriate amount of additives is added. CONCLUSIONS : The saturate component of SDARs is much less than that of conventional asphalt, and hence, it is too hard and brittle to be used as pavement materials. However, the modified SDARs with developed additives show comparable or better rheological/physical properties compared to that of conventional asphalt depending on the type of SDAR and the amount of additives used.

GGBFS(Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag) has been widely used in concrete for its excellent resistance chloride and chemical attack, however cracks due to hydration heat and dry shrinkage are reported. In many International Standards, GGBFS with low fineness of 3,000 grade is classified for wide commercialization and crack control. In this paper, the mechanical and durability performance of concrete were investigated through two mix proportions; One (BS) has 50% of w/b(water to binder) ratio and 60% replacement ratio with low-fineness GGBFS, and the other (TS) has 50% of w/b and 60% replacement ratio with 4000 grade and FA (Fly Ash). The strength difference between TS and BS concrete was not great from 3 day to 91 day of age, and BS showed excellent performance for chloride diffusion and carbonation resistance. Two mixtures also indicate a high durability index (more than 90.0) for freezing-thawing since they contain sufficient air content. Through improvement of strength in low fineness GGBFS concrete at early age, mass concrete with low hydration heat and high durability can be manufactured.

When RC(Reinforced Concrete) structures are exposed to harsh environment, deterioration phenomenon occurs, and the corrosion in rebar due to chloride intrusion is known as representative deterioration, so called chloride attack. In this paper, chloride resistance performance of 2 years aged concrete is evaluated considering 3 levels of water to binder ratio(0.37, 0.42, and 0.47) and 2 levels of substitution ratio of fly ash(0% and 30%). Accelerated chloride diffusion coefficient tests referred to Tang's method, total passed charge tests referred to ASTM C 1202, and compressive strength tests referred to KS F 2405 are performed. With adaptation of the previous test results and the results from this study, time-dependent chloride diffusion characteristics are analyzed for each concrete. The FA(Fly Ash) concrete has higher chloride resistance performance than OPC(Ordinary Portland Cement) concrete. According to the evaluation standard of ASTM C 1202, the FA concrete has "Moderate" grade after 49 days while OPC concrete does "Moderate" grade after 365 days. As the results of time-parameter for chloride diffusion, OPC concrete and FA concrete show the decreasing behavior of time-parameters with increasing water to binder ratio. Also, FA concrete has 1.57~2.74 times of time-parameter than OPC concrete. That's cause is thought that the time-parameter indicates the gradient of decreasing of diffusion coefficient. FA concrete has higher time-parameters than OPC concrete by pozzolanic reaction of FA.
PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to evaluate the SDAR (solvent deasphaltene residue), which is obtained from the solvent deasphalting (SDA) process, as a pavement material. METHODS : The physical properties of the SDAR were evaluated based on its chemical composition, and asphalt mixtures with the SDAR were fabricated and used for the evaluation of mechanical properties. Firstly, the chemical composition of SARA (saturate, aromatic, resin and asphaltene) was analyzed using the TLC-FID (thin-layer chromatography-flame ionization detector). Moreover, the basic material properties of the asphalt binder with the SDAR were evaluated by the penetration test, softening point test, ductility test, and PG (performance grade) grade test. The rheological properties of the asphalt binder with the SDAR were evaluated by the dynamic shear modulus ($G^*$) obtained using the time-temperature superposition (TTS) principle. Secondly, the mechanical properties of the asphalt mixtures with the SDAR were evaluated. The compactibility was evaluated using the gyratory compacter. Moreover, the tensile strength ratio (TSR) was used for evaluating the moisture susceptibility of the asphalt mixtures (i.e., susceptibility to pothole damage). The dynamic modulus $E^*$, which is a fundamental property of the asphalt mixture, obtained at different temperatures and loading cycles, was used to evaluate the mechanical properties of the asphalt mixtures. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION : The SDAR shows stiffer and more brittle behavior than the conventional asphalt binder. As the application of the SDAR directly in the field may cause early failures, such as cracks on pavements, it should be applied with modifiers that can favorably modify the brittleness property of the SDAR. Therefore, if appropriate additives are applied on the SDAR, it can be used as a pavement material because of its low cost and strong resistance to rutting.
