Vitamin contents of three grades of Korean laver high, medium and low were measured. They were cooked by different methods to examine changes in their vitamin content. Results of this experiment are as follows ; 1. Vitamin contained in loogr of laver amount to 13,200 I.U, for high grade, 16,100 for mediium grade, and 16,400 for low grade . The low -grade laver, which is interwoven with green laver, showed the highest vitamin content. 2. When laver was broiled sheet by sheet, its vitamin loss rate was 11% for high grade, 19% for medium grade, and 20% for low grade. Thus , the one with a higher vitamin content showed a higher vitamin loss rate. When two sheets of laver, which were put upon each other, were broiled, their vitamin loss rates were 2.3% for high grade, 1.73 % for medium grade, and 2.64% for low grade. Thus broiling laver at the unitof two to three sheets together is a way of decreasing the vitamin loss rate. 3. When laver was broiled with salt applied on its surface , its vitamin loss rate was 8.3% for high grade, 13% for medium grade, and 10.9% for low grade. When laver was broied at the unit of two sheets together after salt and sesame oil were added, its vitamin loss rate was 2.2% for high grade, 5.2% for medium grade, and 8.2% for low grade . The one with a higher vitamin content showed a higher vitamin loss rate. 4. When laver was mixed seasoned soysauce, its vitamin loss rate increased in process of time. In 48 hours after laver was mixed with seasoned soysauce , its vitamin loss rate read 24.2%, 27.1% and 35% respectively, for the three grades of laver. Thus the laver mixed with seasoned soysauce has to be used right after so cooked so as to obtained the highest possible vitamin content.
This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of physical and chemical characteristics of lower grade tobacco with treatment of ozone. In ozonization of low grade tobacco, optimum moisture was 20 percentage, and decrease ratio of content of tobacco leaf was 30 percentage in nicotine , 15.9 percentage in total volatile base, 10.5 percentage in petroleum-ether-extract, 29.5 percentage in solanesol, and decrease ratio of cigarette smoke composition was 31 percentage in nicotine, 6.08 percentage in tar.
Purpose : Our purpose was to compare maximum relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) with histologic grade of cerebral gliomas. Materials and methods : First-pass perfusion MR imaging was performed preoperatively in 16 patients with pathologically proven cerebral gliomas (7 glioblastoma, 2 anaplastic astrocytoma, 1 anaplastic oligodendroglioma, 5 low-grade astrocytoma, and 1 low-grade oligodendroglioma). Maximum rCBV was compared with histologic diagnosis and grade of the tumor. Results : Maximum rCBVs of glioblastomas were in the range of 433% to-1330% (average, 790 %), as compared with those of contra-lateral normal white matters. Maximum rCBVs of two non-enhancing anaplastic astrocytomas were 66% and 284%, respectively. Maximum rCBV of one well-enhancing anaplastic oligodendroglioma was 702%. Maximum rCBVs of low-grade astrocytomas were in the range of 80%-369% (average, 202%). Maximum rCBV of one low-grade oligodendroglioma was 1450%, even higher than those of glioblastomas. Conclusion : Maximum rCBV was higher in glioblastoma than in low-grade astrocytoma without overlapping. However, there was no difference of maximum rCBV between non-enhancing anaplastic astrocytoma and low-grade astrocrtoma.
This study was carried out to investigate carcass grade of pigs according to gender, feed intake, backfat thickness, carcass weight, etc. Data from a total of 26,983 heads in 5 farms were collected. The results obtained were as follows; The difference was significantly found in carcass quality grade between barrows and gilts (p<0.001). The meat grade $1^+$ was high in gilts, but meat grade 1 was high in barrows, respectively. The carcass weight of 85.8 kg was lightly shown significantly (p<0.05) in group I taken little quantity of feed consumption. However, that of 89.5 kg was heavily shown in group IV taken plenty of feed consumption. Meat grade 2 was significantly (p<0.001) high ratio in group of backfat thickness with less than 15 mm (67.5%). However, the ratio for the grade 1 was high in group of 15~19 mm. The ratio for the meat grade 2 was highly shown in group of carcass weight with more than 85 kg (54.3%). On the other hand, that of grade 1 was highly shown in group of 78~84 kg. In conclusion, pigs for marketing to enhance high quality have been appropriately raised with the optimum system in consideration of feed intake, carcass weight, backfat thickness, etc.

This study examined a correspondence of children's anticipated vocations, perceived competencies, and interests. For the purpose, this study asked 659 primary school students what activities they liked, those they thought they were good at, and what job they expected when they grew up. The responses were coded into RIASEC Holland codes and agreement across the three questions was examined using kappa statistics. Results indicated that there was a correspondence of children's anticipated vocations, perceived competencies, and interests. When broken down into separate examinations by gender, males and females had significant kappas for agreement between vocation and competence. And the correspondence of competence and interest was significant for males too. We couldn't examine females' case because they didn't answer C-type of Holland. Examinations of the results by grade demonstrated that 5th-grade and 6th-grade had significant kappas for agreement between vocation and competence. However the correspondence of vocation and interest was significant for 5th-grade. the correspondence of competence and interest was significant for 5th-grade too. We couldn't examine 6th-grade's case because they didn't answer C-type of Holland. The result obtained from this study indicate that there is a correspondence of children's anticipated vocations, perceived competencies, and interests. Such a result means that children, 5th-grade and 6th-grade, can consider their competencies and interests with their vocations. The findings are especially relevant for counselors and teachers working with children.

The welding consumables which are able to be applied in shipbuilding is decided in accordance with base materials. The class societies regulate that 3Y grade welding consumables have to be used for E(H) grade steel. Welding consumables with about 1.5% Ni contents in the deposited metal have been using to weld E(H) grade steel in domestic shipbuilding companies. It was inevitable to obtain impact property of weldment at low temperature. However, when the welding consumables are used in production, there are two kinds of problems-bad workability & cost-up of welding consumables. Therefore development of Ni free welding consumables for E(H) grade steel are required & this paper will introduce the development of Ni free 4Y grade FCW.
Objective : $^{99m}Tc$-dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA) scan is considered to be the most sensitive examination for detection of renal scars. However, because of its high radiation exposure to the kidney and its limited usefulness for patients with low grade vesicoureteral reflux(VUR), some authors have suggested that DMSA scans should be reserved primarily for children with VUR grade 3 and above. The aim of this study was to reevaluate the necessity of DMSA scans as a screening test in infants without reflux or with low grade reflux. Methods : In this retrospective study, 189 infants(mean age : 6.2 months) diagnosed as UTI were enrolled. Voiding cystourethrogram(VCUG), DMSA scan and renal ultrasonography were performed within 1 month of UTI. VUR grade was classified into three subgroups; low grade(grade 1-2), moderate grade(grade 3), and high grade(grade 4-5), respectively. Results : Renal defects were present in 67 of 189 infants, and 82 of the 378 renal units. The incidence of renal defects was significantly correlated with VUR grade(P<0.01); 28 percent without reflux, 38 percent with low grade, 53 percent with moderate grade, 100 percent with high grade, respectively. However, there was no significant differences in incidence of renal defects between the low grade and moderate grade group. Conclusion : In this study, renal defects were found in quite high percentages; 28 percent patients without reflux and 38 percent patients with low grade VUR, respectively. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the incidence of renal defects between the low grade and moderate grade groups. Therefore, DMSA scan should be performed for infants with UTI as a screening test regardless of the presence of VUR.
This study aimed at identifying changes in the acromiohumeral distance (AHD) and arm when the caudal gliding gradeII and III of Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept$^{(R)}$ are applied to the right glenohumeral joint. The humeral head moved down about 5mm from the initial position when the gliding gradeII was applied, and about 8mm from the initial position when the gliding gradeIII was applied. Although men showed a higher acromiohumeral distance per grade than women in comparisons by gender for the acromiohumeral distance, there was no significant difference in statistics. The Abduction angle improved about $10^{\circ}$ from the initial angle when the gliding gradeII was applied, and about $12^{\circ}$ from the initial angle when the gliding gradeIII was applied. Although women showed the abduction angle greater than men for every grade in comparisons by gender for the abduction angle, there was no significant difference in statistics. Based on the aforesaid findings, the extent of kinematic changes in the humeral head could be identified when the gliding grades were applied. Accordingly, it is considered that more scientific evidence based treatments could be expected if influences on the surrounding structures by these changes could be learned through more studies in the future.
Restoration of skin reactivity to 1 TU of tuberculin (RT23) by repeated tests at 10 days interval has been investigated in the BCG vaccinated or unvaccinated primary school children. The results obtained are as follows. 1) Tuberculin reactors showing 6 mm or larger induration to the first tests were 20.0% in the first grade school children and 33.3% in the sixth grade children. Six millimeter or larger reaction than that of the first reaction was found in 14.9% of the first grade children and in 34.6% of the sixth grade children. 2) Six millimeter or larger reactors were 10.8% of the first grade children without BCG scar against both first and second tests and 11.8% of the sixth grade children on first tests and 10.6% on second tests. There was none or very few, if any, in number of 6 mm or larger difference between the first and second tests among children without BCG scar. In addition, there was no children shown 6 mm or larger second reaction than that of the first reaction and thus those reactors seemed to be natural infection. 3) From questionaire survey, parents of 73.3% of the first grade children and of 72.7% of the sixth grade children were aware of BCG vaccination of their children, while parents of 15.1% and 24.6% of the first and sixth grade children did not know their children's vaccination history even if children possessed BCG scar. 4) Of the first grade children whose parents remembered their BCG vaccination, 65.6% were vaccinated within 4 weeks after birth and 25.5% between 4 weeks and one year. Six millimeter or larger reaction on the first tests was observed in 20.2% of the former group and 15.9% of the latter group, however reactors on the second tests were 32.1% and 31.9% respectively. BCG scar was not observed in 13.9% of children. 5) The majority of children (87.3%) were vaccinated in the skin of deltoid area and some (7.7%) at buttock or other areas. Children received first vaccination at the health centers were 68.5% and 30.3% at hospitals. More than 5 mm reaction was found in 18.7% of the former children and in 15.0% of the latter children. From this study restoration of tuberculin reactivity by repeated tests was found very common among the vaccinated children and thus it should be taken into account for the vaccination policy if it is performed after tuberculin testing.
Purpose: This study investigated customers' perception of a hygiene grade certification system for restaurants and this study also determined way to promote the application of the hygiene grade certification. Methods: A total of 315 customer responses were used for the data analysis. Statistical analyses were conducted using the SPSS program (ver. 23.0) for frequency analysis, χ2-tests, t-tests, analysis of variance, and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Results: The composition of the respondents was 43.8% males and 56.2% females. The 73.3% lived with their families while 26.7% lived alone. Among those surveyed, 84.5% dine out at least once a week and 66.8% dine out during weekends evening. In addition, the most preferred types of restaurants were Korean restaurants (37.5%), delivery restaurants (14.6%), and Western restaurants (8.9%). Information about restaurant was most frequently obtained through Internet searches (54.0%). The average expenditure of eating-out per person was 15,483 Korean won, and the overall satisfaction averaged 3.58 out of 5 points. According to the results of IPA, the restaurant selection attributes that were priorities for improvement were the foods' taste and restroom cleanliness. In addition, 30.5% of respondents recognized the hygiene grade certification system for restaurants. The intention of dining at restaurants with a hygiene grade certification in the future was on average 4.02 out of 5 points. A total of 56.8% of respondents were willing to pay more for a restaurant with a hygiene grade certification. The average percentage of additional price was 6.02%. Conclusion: In order to apply and quickly disseminate the hygiene grade certification system all over the Korea, the study results suggest that relevant policy should be provided by the Korean government for certified restaurants along with the relevant education and promotion of the system to customers.
