Glucagon 검사시 Aprotinin 첨가와 Plastic tube 사용이 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Aprotinin Addition and Plastic Tube Usage for Glucagon Test Results)

  • Glucagon은 췌장 Langerhans섬 ${\alpha}$-세포에서 합성 분비되며, 기능으로는 간 당원분해, 지방분해, 인슐린분비 촉진 작용 등이 있다. Glucagon의 측정은 Glucagon 과잉증에 의한 당뇨병, 특발성 Glucagon 결손증, 불안정 당뇨병에서 저혈당의 진단을 하기위해 실시된다. Glucagon 측정시 세 가지 주의를 요하는데, 첫째, Aprotinin이 첨가된 EDTA tube에 채혈해야 하고 둘째, Plasma를 분리하여 Glass tube에 냉동 보관하여야 하고, 마지막으로 검사시에도 Glass tube에서 측정을 해야 한다. 이에 우리는 EDTA tube에 Aprotinin의 유무에 따른 결과 비교, 검체 보관 용기의 차이에 따른 비교(Plastic tube/ Glass tube), 측정용기에 따른 비교(Plastic tube/Glass tube)를 하여, 세 가지가 결과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 성별 구분 없이 건강검진에서 정상 소견을 보인 성인 40명을 대상으로 실험하여 대조군과 세가지 다른 실험군의 Glucagon 결과를 비교하였다. Aprotinin첨가한 EDTA 용기에 채혈 후, 검체를 Glass tube에 3일 냉동 보관하여 Glass tube에서 실험(대조군)한 결과와 Aprotinin첨가하지 않은 EDTA 용기에 채혈한 결과(실험군1), Plastic tube에 3일 냉동 보관한 후의 결과(실험군2), Plastic tube에서 실험(실험군3)한 결과를 비교하였다. 통계적인 분석은 SPSS를 이용한 paired t-test와 단순선형회귀분석을 실시하였고 시약은 상품화된 Siemens사의 Glucagon RIA kit를 사용하였다. Aprotinin이 첨가된 EDTA 용기에 채혈하여 실험한 결과와 Aprotinin이 첨가되지 않은 EDTA용기에 채혈하여 실험한 상관계수는 r=0.783(p=0.064)를 보였다. 검체 분리 후 Plastic tube에서 3일 냉동 보관하여 실험한 결과는 Glass tube의 결과에 비해서 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(r=0.979, p=0.005). 또 측정 시 Plastic tube를 사용한 결과도 Glass tube에서 실험한 결과보다 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(r=0.754, p<0.001). Glucagon 검사 시에는 단백 분해효소 억제제인 Aprotinin이 첨가된 EDTA tube 사용이 권장되며, Plastic tube 사용 시 환자의 결과가 유의하게 낮게 나타나므로 검체는 분리 후 Glass tube에 냉동 보관하고 Glass tube에서 실험하여야 한다.

진공관형 태양열 집열기의 열성능 해석 (An Analysis of the Thermal Performance of the Glass Evacuated Tube Solar Collector)

  • The thermal performance of the glass evacuated tube solar collector is numerically investigated. The glass evacuated tube solar collector consists of a two-layed glass tube, a copper tube, and the working fluid. The length and the diameter of the glass tube are 1,200mm and 38mm, respectively. The diameter, thickness, and length of the copper tube and the flow rate of air are considered as the important design and operating parameters of the collector. The effect of these parameters on the thermal performance of the collector are investigated. The results show that as the diameter, the thickness, and the length of the copper tube increase and the flow rate of the air decreases, the thermal performance and the outlet mean temperature increase.

내관에 휜을 부착한 진공관형 집열기의 열성능 해석 (Thermal Performance Analysis of Glass Evacuated Solar Collector with a Finned Tube)

  • The thermal performance of glass evacuated tube solar collectors with finned tubes is numerically modelled with code and investigated to see the effect of toe inner tube diameter and incidence angle. The solar collector consists of a two-layered glass tube and an inner tube. Finned tubes are used as the inner tube of the collector in order to improve the performance of the solar collector. Two strip-type fins are attached on the opposite sides of the inner tube surface. The fin is wide enough to be tightly fatted inside the glass tube. The results show that if the incidence angle is small, the effect of the tube diameters is not significant on the thermal performance and the outlet air temperature. If the incidence angle is large, however, the outlet air temperature and the performance increases as the inner tube diameter increases.

이중 진공관형 태양열 집열기의 집열관 내부 형상과 운전 조건이 성능 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Absorber Tube Shape and Operating Conditions on Thermal Performance of All-Glass Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors)

  • All-glass evacuated tube solar collectors consist of glass evacuated tubes and absorber tubes. Solar thermal energy from the sun is transferred to the working fluid through the glass evacuated tube and the absorber tube. Several collectors which have different absorber tubes are tested to find the effects of the absorber tube shapes and the operating conditions such as the incident heat flux and the flow rate. As the results, the efficiency of the collector which has a finned tube U tube is about $2{\sim}5%$ higher than that of the others in all cases on an average. And the collector has a finned U tube has the highest efficiency at the high flow rate and the low incident heat flux. In this condition, the outlet mean temperature is low and the heat loss becomes small. Also, it is known that the fin effect is greater than the shade effect.

망사시험관과 유리시험관에서 톱다리개미허리노린재의 약충발육, 성충수명 및 산란 비교 (Comparison of the Nymphal Development, Adult Longevity and Oviposition of the Bean Bug, Riptortus clavatus Thunberg (Hemiptera: Alydidae) in Fibrous Nylon and Glass-Tube)

  • 망사시험관 및 유리시험관에서 톱다리개미허리노린재의 약충발육, 성충수명 및 산란수를 비교하였다. 약충기간은 유리시험관(20일)보다 망사시험관(약 21일)에서 약 1일 길었는데, 이러한 차이는 주로 5령충의 발육기간에 기인되었다. 우화율은 유리시험관($56\%$)보다 망사시험관($64\%$)에서 $8\%$높았다. 성충수명은 유리시험관보다 망사시험관에서 암컷이 약 4.1배, 수컷이 약 6배 길었다. 산란전기간은 유리시험관보다 망사시험관에서 약 1일 길었으며, 산란수는 유리시험관보다 망사시험관에서 약 3.5배 많았다. 산란지속기간은 망사 시험관에서 약 30일, 유리시험관에서 약 8일 이었다. 따라서 톱다리개미허리 노린재의 발육특성을 정확하게 구명하기 위해선 공기유통이 원활한 망사시험관을 사용하는 것이 적합할 것으로 판단되었다.

KTX 운행에 따른 가선설비 유리애자의 진동특성과 파손 가능성 검증 (The Verification of Breakage Possibility and Vibration Properties of Glass Insulators by the High-speed Railway Service)

  • This paper has studied breakage possibility of glass insulators by resonance and accelerated deterioration through the comparison of the natural vibration and on site vibration. The natural frequencies of the strut tube glass insulator was measured within a range of less than 1kHz. In the on site vibration, the largest frequency that was imposed on strut tube glass insulators was 80Hz with 1.13g of vertical vibration in the viaduct section, the largest vertical vibration (0.38g) was detected at 103Hz in the open route section. When site vibration and natural vibration of strut tube glass insulators were compared in terms of characteristics, the resonance frequency was not the same. In both the viaduct and open route sections, it seems that the impact by vertical vibration in strut tube glass insulators is large. It's very unlikely that glass insulators were damaged by fatigue accumulation of vibration since the possibility of damage by resonance was very low in consideration of the characteristics of natural vibration and site vibration of glass insulators. In addition, no damage was detected in the accelerated deterioration test.

  • Recently, fluidized bed heat exchangers with circulating liquid are widely used in a number of places-chemical, process, food concentration, waste water treatment facilities, etc. In a circulating heat exchanger, solid particles circulate with the liquid, thereby increase the heat transfer and reduce the fouling potential of the heat exchanger. In this study, glass beads were circulated through a vertical tube. The pressure loss and the heat transfer coefficient were measured. At low flow velocities, glass beads enhanced the heat transfer considerably. The enhancement increased as the volume fraction of the glass beads increased. The pressure loss showed a similar trend. From the observed particle behavior near tube wall, a possible explanation of the trend is provided.

혈액응고 검사용 유리 CTAD 채혈관와 플라스틱 Sodium Citrate 채혈관의 비교 (Comparison of Glass CTAD Tube and Plastic Sodium Citrate Tube for Coagulation Test)

  • We evaluated the newly developed plastic sodium citrate tubes for routine coagulation test by direct comparison with glass citrate theophylline adenosine dipyridamole (CTAD) tubes. Blood was drawn from 100 patients into glass CTAD tubes and plastic sodium citrate tubes. After collection, samples were centrifuged at 1500 ${\times}$g for 15 min at $22^{\circ}C$. Prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), fibrinogen were measured by using the Coagrex-800 (IRC, Japan). We used comparison plot by linear regression model and difference plot graphs to compare the results of the independent measurements of PT, aPTT, fibrinogen between glass CTAD tubes and plastic sodium citrate tubes. On the comparison study between glass CTAD tubes and plastic sodium citrate tubes, the correlation coefficients (R) were 0.99 for PT, 0.97 for aPTT and 0.97 for fibrinogen. This results implicated good correlation of each parameter between two tubes. Although the difference plot graph analysis showed statistically significant differences between glass and plastic tubes for PT, aPTT and fibrinogen, the range of difference was acceptable according to the CLSI/NCCLS guideline. The plastic sodium citrate tubes showed good correlation with the glass CTAD tubes, so it can substitute glass citrate tube for routine coagulation tests.

알루미늄/GFRP 혼성 사각튜브의 정적 압축 붕괴 및 에너지 흡수 특성 (Axial crush and energy absorption characteristics of Aluminum/GERP hybrid square tube)

  • For the axial crushing tests of various shape of tubes, it was reported that composite tubes need trigger mechanism to avoid brittle failure. In this study, static axial crush tests were performed with the new aluminum/GFRP hybrid tubes. Glass/Epoxy prepregs were wrapped around aluminum tube and co-cured. The failure of hybrid tube was stable and progressive without trigger mechanism, and specific energy absorption was increased to maximum 34% in comparison with aluminum tube. Effective energy absorption is possible for inner aluminum tube because wrapped composite tube constrain the deflection of aluminum tube and reduce the folding length. The failure of hybrid composite tube was stable without trigger mechanism because inner aluminum tube could play the role of crack initiator and controller. Aluminum/Glass-Epoxy hybrid tube is suitable for the vehicle front structure due to effective energy absorption capability, easy production, and simple application for RTM process.
