Instant face lifting cosmetics contain various film forming agents for stretching the wrinkles on the skin surface. But, most of the film-forming polymers have sticky feels. And they are easily scrubbed out when skin is rubbed on. In this study, we focused on the influence of sodium silicate that has rapid film forming effect on skin surface and immediate wrinkle reducing effect. Sodium silicate, also known as water glass or soluble glass, is a compound containing sodium oxide and silica. Sodium silicate is a white powder that is readily soluble in water, producing an alkaline solution. Sodium silicate is stable in neutral and alkaline solutions. The sodium silicate solution hardens by drying in air and rapidly forms a thin film. When the solution is applied to the skin, the fine membrane coating is formed by water evaporation and ionic bond re-formation. It also makes the strong siloxane (Si-O) bonding on the skin surface. When these fixation properties are applied to cosmetics, they can give remarkable skin tightening effect. The sodium silicate solution can provide the lifting effect by forming a film on skin at a proper concentration. But, skin irritation may be caused with too high concentration of sodium silicate. We studied a desirable range of the sodium silicate concentration and combination with other fixatives for skin care formulation that has no sticky feels and no scrubbing out phenomenon. Immediate lifting gel was developed by using sodium silicate and various thickening systems. Among of the various thickeners, aluminum magnesium silicate showed the best compatibility with sodium silicate for rapid lifting effect. This instant physical lifting gel was confirmed as a low stimulating formula by skin clinical test.
The thermal stability, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of $Gd_{55}Co_{35}M_{10}$ (M = Si, Zr and Nb) melts-pun ribbons were studied. The relatively high reduced glass transition temperature ($T_{x1}/T_m$ > 0.60) and low melting point ($T_m$) resulted in excellent glass forming ability (GFA). The Curie temperatures ($T_C$) of melt-spun amorphous ribbons $Gd_{55}Co_{35}M_{10}$ for M = Si, Zr and Nb were 166, 148 and 173 K, respectively. For a magnetic field change of 2 T, the values of maximum magnetic entropy change $(-{\Delta}S_M)^{max}$ for $Gd_{55}Co_{35}Si_{10}$, $Gd_{55}Co_{35}Zr_{10}$ and $Gd_{55}Co_{35}Nb_{10}$ were found to be 2.86, 4.28 and $4.05J\;kg^{-1}K^{-1}$, while the refrigeration capacity (RC) values were 154, 274 and $174J\;kg^{-1}$, respectively. The $RC_{FWHM}$ values of amorphous alloys $Gd_{55}Co_{35}M_{10}$ (M = Si, Zr and Nb) are comparable to or larger than that of $LaFe_{11.6}Si_{1.4}$ crystalline alloy. Large values of $(-{\Delta}S_M)^{max}$ and RC along with good thermal stability make $Gd_{55}Co_{35}M_{10}$ (M = Si, Zr and Nb) amorphous alloys be potential materials for magnetic cooling operating in a wide temperature range from 150 to 175 K, e.g., as part of a gas liquefaction process.

It is essential to understand the creep behavior, which shows how long the characteristics of material maintains because press joined molding GMT-Sheet for recycle is usually used in the severe environment.
In this study, we predict joining strength of GMT-Sheet for recycle, when lap length was changed. and we will investigate how compression ratio have an effect on creep behavior in press joined molding. The result of experiment of forming condition concerned with joining problem of GMT-Sheet is as followings joining efficiency. of GMT-Sheet, increases as lap joint length I, increases. Increase of compression ratio causes decrease o f joining efficiency after of GMT-Sheet joining. As the result of creep test, GMT-Sheet is easily damaged in high temperature range, because it is sensitive to the temperature
The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal fit of all ceramic crowns prepared from alumina slip casting, which is consistent with the conventional In-ceram system, and those fabricated from alumina tapes which is currently under development in an effort to alleviate complexities involved in the forming procedure of the In-ceram crown core. All ceramic crowns, made of In-ceram(slip casting) and alumina tapes(Doctor blade casting), were prepared with $90^{\circ}\;and\;135^{\circ}$ shoulder margins. The crowns were cemented with a glass ionomer cement and embeded in epoxy resin. The embedded crowns were sectioned faciolingually and mesiodistally and marginal discrepancies and marginal gaps were measured under the Measurescope MM II. The measurements were analyzed using Wilcoxon rank sum test and Kruskal-Wallis test and the results were as follows: 1. In the case of $90^{\circ}$ shoulder margin, the combined marginal discrepancies and marginal gaps were $78.3{\mu}m\;and\;44.4{\mu}m$ respectively, for the all ceramic crowns fabricated using the alumina tapes. In comparison, the values were $65{\mu}m\;and\;25.5{\mu}m$ for the In-ceram crowns. For the marginal gaps a statistical difference existed (p<0.05) but no significant difference was observed for the marginal discrepancy (p>0.05). 2. In the case of $135^{\circ}$ shoulder margin, the combined marginal discrepancy and marginal gaps were $82.1{\mu}m\;and\;40.2{\mu}m$ respectively, for the all ceramic crowns formed with the tapes. As compared with the marginal discrepancy and gaps of the $90^{\circ}$ shoulder margin in the fabricated from the alumina tapes, no significant statistical differencies were discerned in both cases (p>0.05). 3. There was no statistically significant difference in the fits among four locations around the margins of the all ceramic crowns fabricated using the alumina tapes. The results obtained in this study showed that the marginal fits of the glass infiltrated alumina cores fabricated from the alumina tapes are slightly higher value than those prepared using the In-ceram but the difference is within a clinically acceptable range.
Thermoforming is a plastic manufacturing process that applies a force to stretch a film of heated thermoplastic material over an engineered mold to create a 3-dimensional shape. After forming, the shaped part can then be trimmed and finished to specification to meet an end-user's requirements. The process and thermoplastic materials are extremely versatile and can be utilized to manufacture parts for a very wide range of applications. In this study, based on K-BKZ nonlinear viscoelastic model, thermoforming process analysis was performed for an interior room-lamp. The predicted thickness was minimum at the corner of a molded film, and maximum at the center of the bottom. By using the Taguchi method of design of experiments, the effects of process conditions on residual stresses were investigated. The dominant factors were the liner thickness and the film heating time. As the thickness of the liner increased, the residual stress decreased. And it was found that the residual stress decreased significantly when the film heating temperature was higher than the glass transition temperature. A thermoforming mold and a trimming mold were manufactured, and the spring back was investigated through experiments. The dominant factors were film heating time, liner thickness, and lower mold temperature. As the film heating time and liner thickness increased, the spring back decreased. In addition, it was found that the spring back decreased as the lower mold temperature increased.
Micro gas sensor with single electrode was proposed for improving stability and sensitivity. Generally, metal oxide gas sensors have two electrodes for heating and sensing. This fabricated new type sensor have only a single electrode by forming a sensing material onto heating electrode. Pt as a heating and sensing electrode was sputtered on glass substrate and a $SnO_2$ sensing material was thermally evaporated on Pt electrode. $SnO_2$ was patterned by lift-off process and then thermally oxidized in $O_2$ condition for 1 hr., $600^{\circ}C$. The size of fabricated sensor was $1.9{\times}2.1\;mm^2$. As a result of CO gas sensing characteristics, this sensor showed 100 mV change for 1,000 ppm and linearity for wide range($0{\sim}10,000\;ppm$) of gas concentrations. And the sensor shows a good recovery characteristics of 1% deviation compared to initial resistance.
Isothermal physical aging of a glass fiber/epoxy composite was examined at different aging temperatures ($T_a$) and degrees of conversion (monitored by the glass transition temperature, $T_g$) by means of the TBA torsion pendulum technique. The range of aging temperature was from 10 to $130^{\circ}C$ : the conversion was systematically changed from $T_g$=$76^{\circ}C$ to $T_g$=$177^{\circ}C$ (fully crosslinked). The effect of isothermal physical aging was manifested as perturbations of the modulus and mechanical loss vs. temperature in the vicinity of $T_a$ for all conversions. The rate of isothermal physical aging determined from the change of modulus with aging time at fixed aging temperature decreased and then increased with increasing conversion below T$_{a}$=9$0^{\circ}C$. There exists a superposition in aging rate vs. ($T_g$ -$T_a$) by shifting horizontally and vertically. This implies that the physical aging process is independent of the change of chemical structure as conversion proceeds. It has been found that water absorbed at the aging temperature below $70^{\circ}C$ during isothermal physical aging lowers the apparent aging rate. It is due to the absorbed water molecules forming strong polar interactions with hydroxyl group on network chain and reducing the segmental mobility during the physical aging.g.
GAP or GAP-co-BO based energetic thermoplastic elastomers (ETPEs) were synthesized by changing the hard segment content percent in the range of 30~45% by 5% difference. Thermal and mechanical properties of GAP-co-BO based ETPEs were compared to those of GAP based ETPEs. FT-IR results showed that the capability of forming hydrogen bond increases with increasing the hard segment content in GAP/GAP-co-BO based ETPE, and also the GAP-co-BO based ETPEs are stronger than GAP based ETPEs in the hydrogen bond formation. DSC and DMA results showed that the glass transition temperature (Tg) of GAP based ETPEs increased with the increment of the hard segment content, while the Tg of GAP-co-BO based ETPEs was maintained even the hard segment content increased. The storage modulus at room temperature of the GAP-co-BO based ETPEs was higher than that of the GAP based ETPEs. This was due to the strong phase separation behavior of the hard and soft segment of GAP-co-BO based ETPEs, which further resulted in the stronger breaking strength and lower tensile elongation at break point for GAP-co-BO based ETPE than the GAP based one.

Multi-layer ceramic capacitors as decoupling capacitor were fabricated by dielectric composition with a high dielectric constant. The fabricated decoupling capacitors were embedded in the PCB of the 10G RF transceiver module and evaluated for the characteristics of electrical noise by the level of AC input voltage. In order to further improve the electrical properties of the $BaTiO_3$ based composite, glass frit, MgO, $Y_2O_3$, $Mn_3O$, $V_2O_5$, $BaCO_3$, $SiO_2$, and $Al_2O_3$ were used as additives. The electrical properties of the composites were determined by various amounts of additives and optimum sintering temperature. As a result of the optimized composite, it was possible to obtain a density of $5.77g/cm^3$, a dielectric constant of 1994, and an insulation resistance of $2.91{\times}10^{12}{\Omega}$ at an additive content of 5wt% and a sintering temperature of $1250^{\circ}C$. After forming a $2.5{\mu}m$ green sheet using the doctor blade method, a total of 77 layers were laminated and sintered at $1180^{\circ}C$. A decoupling capacitor with a size of $0.6mm(W){\times}0.3mm(L){\times}0.3mm(T)$ (width, length and thickness, respectively) and a capacitance of 100 nF was embedded using a PCB process for the 10G RF Transceiver modules. In the range of AC input voltage 400mmV @ 500kHz to 2200mV @ 900kHz, the embedded 10G RF Transceiver modules evaluated that it has better electrical performance than the non-embedded modules.
In this paper, a simple method of forming a solution-based carbon nanotube (CNT) for use as a conductive material for electronic devices was studied. The CNT thin film coating was performed on the glass by applying the spin coating method and the argon atmospheric pressure plasma process. In order to observe changes in electrical and physical properties according to the number of coatings, samples formed in the same manner from times 1 to 5 were prepared, and surface shape, reflectance, transmittance, absorbance, and sheet resistance were measured for each sample. As the number of coatings increased, the transmittance decreased, and the reflectance and absorptivity increased in the entire measurement wavelength range. Also, as the wavelength decreases, the transmittance decreases, and the reflectance and absorption increase. In the case of electrical properties, it was confirmed that the conductivity was significantly improved when the second coating was applied. In conclusion, in order to replace CNT with a transparent electrode, it is necessary to consider the number of coatings in consideration of reflectivity and electrical conductivity together, and it can be seen that 2 times is optimal.
