Bovine mastitis is an important disease causing serious economic loss in dairy production and food poison in public health. Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus are the major causative agents of bovine mastitis. These bacteria were found in milk and environmental condition such as feces, water, soil and so on. Bovine mastitis causative micro-organisms can survive in 1-2 weeks in feces and bed complexes. Low level of percentage of water content (PWC) of feces and bed complexes can reduce the spreading of bovine mastitis incidence from environmental contamination. In this study, we developed the fecal dehydrating system and determined the elimination rates of bovine mastitis causative agent from feces and bed complexes. To develop the fecal dehydrating system, the screw pressurized dehydrating system was used and the maximum rate of dehydrating was reached to 52% PWC using 90% PWC (wet base) of fecal and bed complexes. The elimination rates of the dehydrating system for E. coli and S. aureus were reached at 41.19 $\pm$ 7.84% to 62.55 $\pm$ 8.71% in various percentages of PWC of feces and bed complexes (80, 85 and 90%). These results suggested that the application of fecal dehydrating system would reduce the exposure of dairy cattle to bovine mastitis causing agents contaminated feces and bed complexes, and can be used for environmental bovine mastitis control avoiding misuse or abuse of chemical disinfectants and antibiotics in dairy farm.

In recent years, epidemics have raged with a 6-7 years period such as SARS (2002), Swine Flu (2009), MERS (2015). When an epidemic arises, the first advice is the isolation of infected patients and disease areas. Because it appears after a certain incubation period, the peoples worked with Infected (infection cause) staff and the place are largely exposed to the epidemic Risk. If you have an epidemic in the workplace, even if you close it, the business plan should be ready to continue the safety and protection measures for employees and the organization's core business. In this study We present the corresponding measures to protect the safety of the employees and to continue the core business during a pandemic outbreak and the introduction of BCP mainly corresponding practices of financial companies.

In recent years, lots of damages appear frequently due to cyber terrorism and natural disasters such as typhoon 'Chaba', earthquake at Kyeongju. The damages lead to people's anxiety and public institutions connected directly with them also can't be free from the threat situation. In addition, public institutions must prepare business continuity issues with the highest priority in the event of disasters because they are closest with people's safety. However, preceding researches suggest needs of disaster mitigation activities management system or central office oriented top-down BCP establishing system. In this study, We grasp the current status of public institutions's business continuity plan(BCP) against disaster and we propose an efficient bottom-up method for structuring the BCP of public institutions.
The aluminum dross is oxide generated on the surface of the molten metal during the aluminum melting process and it is divided into white dross and black dross according to presence of the Salt flux. White dross has high metal content and is recycled via the melting process. Black dross is largely berried, because the it has a low metal content and difficulty in separating the components. Black dross contains a salt components such as NaCl and KCl, and inorganic materials such as $Al_2O_3$ and MgO, and it is necessary to study the technology to recover and recycle such valuable resources. In this study, a process for recycling aluminum black dross was proposed. The inorganic and soluble substances present in the black dross were separated through crushing-dissolution-solid/liquid separation-decompression evaporating. By controlling the ratio of water and black dross, the recovery condition of the separated product was optimized and we confirmed the highest Salt flux recovery efficiency 91 wt.% at black dross:water ratio 1:9. Finally, Through the synthesis of zeolite using recovered ceramic material, the materialization possibility of black dross was confirmed.

The $Mg_2Ni$ hydrogen storage alloys which have much higher theoretical discharge capacity than $AB_5$ and $AB_2$ type alloys were synthesized by mechanical alloying with some additives and subjected to the electrochemical measurements. Two different processes were employed to the synthesis of $Mg_2Ni$ alloys with using the high energy ball mill SPEX 8000. One was only ball milling, 12 hrs, the Mg and Ni powders for 12 hrs with additives such as $AB_5$, Ni, Co and Cu powders. In the other process the Mg and Ni powders were ball milled for 1 hr first and then heat treated at $300{\sim}400^{\circ}C$ for 1 hr to get $Mg_2Ni$ alloy, and finally the $Mg_2Ni$ alloy powders were ball milled with the additives for 12 hrs. The alloy powders prepared were compacted at room temperature under $7.64tons/cm^2$ into disk type electrodes for the electrochemical measurements. The experimntal results showed that the electrodes prepared with the heat treated alloy powders had a higher discharge capacities than those without heat treatment. The addition of Ni caused an increase of the discharge capacity and the addition of Co improved the cycling characteristics. The electrode prepared by ball milling of $Mg_2Ni$ and 10wt% Ni powders has showed the highest discharge capacity, 546mAh/g.alloy, which was 55% of the theoretical capacity.
Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the characteristics of Hwa-Byung(HB) patients, draw the clinical key issue of HB, and provide the data as the basis for development of Clinical Guideline of HB. Methods : The study participants included 151 subjects who thought they have HB in 9 site. For all patients, we used HB epidemiologic study protocol, which include the Korean version of the Structured Clinical Interview for the DSM-IV Diagnosis (SCID-1), diagnostic criteria of HB, symptoms check list, pattern identification tool, psychiastric psychological questionaires, and Framingham coronary risk score(FRS). Results : 1. For all participants, 62 % of subjects were diagnosed with HB. These patients had comorbid DSM-IV diagnoses with depression (65%) and anxiety (27%). But 22% of these patients had only HB. 2. HB patients had various physical symptoms when visiting, were diagnosed as various disease, and undergone medical treatments in the past. Among the diagonsed illness, Gastronitestinal diseases (51.6%), psychiatric disorders(40.9%), endocrine diseases(39.8%) were being the most frequent. The frequent physical symptoms of HB patients reported were chest discomfort, head ache, pallpitation, frequent sigh, amnesia, shoulder pain, dry mouth, eye fatigue etc. 3. HB patients had high scores in psychologic questionares, CES-D, STAI, and STAXI. It means that HB patients might be low-level emotional stability. 4. Participant had negative opinion about the treatment of HB that it would be difficult or impossible (65.7%), but they neglect the need of medical treatment. Conclusions : This result shows that HB is comorbid with various psychiatric disease, but it has different physio-psychological symptoms from others and there were only HB patients. so we identify HB is independent disease. Moreover, there were the wrong perception of HB which blocking treatments. These problems support that the neccesity of development of Clinical Guideline of HB.
This study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of in situ soil flushing for TPH-contaminated soil remediation with column test. The soil texture of the soil was sand and the initial TPH concentration was $9,369mg\; kg^{-1}$. 0.1% Tween-80 was selected as surfactant solution. And the acrylic and the glass syringe columns were used as reactors. In the acrylic column test, 35% of the initial TPH was removed in 1 PV of flushing and approximately 40% in 5 PV and finally 7 PV showed about 60%. The glass column test showed 3 ~ 12% higher removal efficiency than that of acrylic test until 5 PV of flushing. However, there was no difference in TPH removal efficiency when 7 PV of surfactant was finally flushed. Both of alum only and alum+polymer mixed surfactants showed also the best coagulation efficiency in $150mg\;L^{-1}$ of concentraion. When Tween 80 was newly dissolved in 0.1% to the recovered solution after the coagulation treatment, the removal efficiency was increased from 32.0% to 41.0% in comparison to the new 0.1% Tween 80 solution without reuse by coagulation treatment.

There is a growing interest in halitosis and diverse Korean medical studies are being conducted about it. But there are few study about teatment effect of halitosis after Korean medical care, treatment duration, and factor affecting recovery rate. Thus, the purpose of this study is to research clinical characteristic of halitosis patients, factor affecting halitosis, recovery rate of halitosis, treatment duration, factor affecting recovery rate by analyzing halitosis patients retrospectively. People who were over 19 and visited Korean medical clinic in Seoul to want to be treated halitosis in 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. We analyzed general and living characteristics of halitosis patients, halitosis-related symptoms and diseases, level of halitosis and halitosis-related symptoms both before and after treatment, treatment duration of halitosis patients, prescription of halitosis patients, recovery rate of level of halitosis and halitosis-related symptoms by general characteristic and duration of symptoms. Female, thirties, and Nonsmoker had the highest proportion in general characteristic. The average duration of halitosis is 41.6months and treatment duration is 2.55months. The average of sensory evaluation score is 3.40±2.53, subjective evaluation score is 5.02±1.53, lump sensation on throat is 3.52±2.50, postnasal drip is 1.11±1.88, dry mouth is 4.13±2.17, quality of life is 6.07±1.13. Gamichiuitang is used the most among prescriptions. Sensory evaluation, subjective evaluation, lump sensation on throat, postnasal drip, dry mouth, and quality of life had better score compared with pre-treatment. Duration of symptoms is in weak inverse proportion to sensory evaluation, subjective evaluation, dry mouth, quality of life. This study is meaningful in the way to find recovery rate of halitosis after korean medical care, treatment duration, and factor affecting recovery rate not progressed until now. But this study also has limits such as not analyzing objective data using halitosis measuring instrument and lack of methodical scale about quality of life. Therefore, succeeding study such as clinical trials is needed to verify reliability of Korean medical treatment.

This research was performed to evaluate the feasibility of in situ soil flushing for TPH-contaminated soil remediation. It was conducted in batch test as fundamental research for in situ soil flushing. The 30% of initial TPH concentration was removed by shaking only in batch test. The removal efficiency of TPH in case of groundwater as surfactant dilution solution was approximate 2~6% lower than that of distilled water. Mixing ratio of soil to surfactant solution did not practically effect on the TPH removal efficiency. In the experiment of using single or mixed surfactant solution with 0.1~4.0 wt%, Tween-80, SWA-1503, SWA-1503+SDS showed averagely over 80%. It was determined that the optimum surfactant concentration was 0.1 wt% because there was no significant difference between concentrations of 0.1~4.0 wt%.

Background and Objectives The bedside head impulse test (bHIT) in bare eyes often overlooks possible vestibular losses by missing the corrective saccade. This is why it is necessary to compare bHIT against video head impulse test (vHIT), which is more accurate in identifying vestibular losses than the bedside test. Subjects and Method A total of 51 vHIT positive ears underwent the study, and out of those, 47 were diagnosed with dizziness. bHIT and vHIT were performed for patients, and the occurrence rate of overt saccade (OS) was calculated. Results Among the 51 vHIT positive ears, 33 (64.7%) were bHIT positive ears and 18 ears (35.3%) were bHIT negative. Patterns of positive vHIT were classified as A: no corrective saccade, B: covert saccade (CS) only, C: OS only, and D: CS with OS (CS+OS), which were 45 out of 51 ears (88%). The occurrence rate of OS was higher in the bHIT positive group than in the bHIT negative group (p=0.05), and higher in the CS negative group (CS-) than in the CS positive group (CS+) (p<0.001). Conclusion Possible causes of false negative results of bHIT are seen as following: the absence of corrective (covert and overt) saccade, the occurrence of CS only, and missing the OS during the bHIT (probably due to low occurrence rate of OS). The occurrence of CS should be considered as an important factor in false negative bHIT when lowering the occurrence rate of OS.
