  • A GUI based pre/post processor program, which is based on the MFC and OpenGL library in the Windows O/S, hee been developed for NUFLEX Using this program, users are able to generate and modify structured or unstructured grid geometries, set all the parameters for the solver, and observe the results of the simulation in graphic view by vector or scalar plots. The mesh geometry data can be imported from or exported to other programs by supporting functions for reading from and writing to CGNS data format files.

  • In this experiment study, to acquire elementary data for explaining to generate frost layer in the fin - tube evaporator. the experiment condition is to supply air on 0.3m/s, 0.6m/s, 0.9m/s and inlet air temperature is kept constantly $20^{\circ}C$, supplied air relative humidity is 70%, 80, 90%. And brine temperature in the copper tube was kept $-15^{\circ}C$ because, generally cooling temperature range is constantly $-15^{\circ}C$ in the heat exchanger for air conditioning system. in conclusion, through this experiment, we did compare with frost layer and frost quantity in each condition and examine these data

  • A front-end cooling fan is designed and tested in the present study. The design technique is developed using the one-dimensional inviscid flow through the fan blade, the empirical equations, and the experimental correlations. Design data for the blade can be obtained for a given flow rate and a pressure rise. A parabolic function is used to generate a sweep of the fan. Characteristics of the blade geometry are discussed between the huh and the tip. The fan is tested in the fan test unit. The measured volume flow rate at the operating point is in good agreement with that of the design specifications. Sound pressure levels of the noise are predicted with the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings equations. Calculation results of the sound pressure level(SPL) 1m away from the fan are obtained and cpmpared with the measured data.

  • In recent, the contactless IC card is widely used in traffic, access control system and so forth. And its use becomes a general tendency more and more because of the development of RF technology and improvement of requirement for user convenience. This paper describes the hardware module to process contactless protocol for implementation contactless IC card. And the hardware module consists of specific digital logic circuits that analyze digital signal from analog circuit and then generate data & status signal for CPU, and that convert the data from CPU into digital signal for analog circuit.

  • Web development and Internet technology development bring many kinds of works to web. This is the main reason why XML, document standard is popular. XML in web can be used to express document template or standard. XML with java can be more powerful and general. For example, XML can be used to transmit data and to print data into the screen using Ajax in JSP(Java Server Page) and to make interfaces in android, which is useful to reduce development cycle. However, XML is not easy to learn for the novice. In this paper, we propose the easy and effective way to reduce the learning curve of XML and to make and use XML documents. For the purpose, we suggest template base XML document generation and we design and implement XML document generator based on Template. XML document generator of template-based provides user interface and layout of XML document. So, users can generate XML document easily and effectively.

  • This paper shows how to implement force reflection for a needle insertion problem. The target is a needle spine biopsy simulator for tumor inspection by needle insertion. Simulated force is calculated from the relationship of volume graphic data and the orientation and Position of the needle, and it is generated using PHANTOM$^{TM}$. To generate realistic force reflection, the directional force of the needle has been generated by tissue model. The other rotational force is generated using a pivot to keep the needle in the initial inserted direction after puncturing the skin. Since the used haptic device has limitation for generating high stiffness and large damping, scale downed model and digital filter are used to stabilize the system.m.

  • Determination of assembly sequence of components is a key issue in assembly operation. Although a number of articles dealing with assembly sequence determination have appeared, an efficient and general methodology for complex products has yet to appear. The objective of this paper is to present the problems and models used to generate assembly sequence from design data. An essential idea of this research is to acquire a finite number of voxels from any complex geometric entity, such as 3D planar polygons, hollow spheres, cylinders. cones, tori, etc. In order to find a feasible assembly sequence, the following four steps are needed: (1) The components composing of an assembly product are identified and then the geometric entities of each component are extracted. (2) The geometric entities extracted in the first step are translated into a number of voxels. (3) All the mating or coupling relations between components are found by considering relations between voxels. (4) The components to be disassembled are determined using CCGs (Component Coupling Graph).

시뮤레이터를 이용한 드릴연삭용 CAM 개발

  • The CAM software for drill grinding has been developed to save time, reduce cost for tool manufacturing and obtain accuracy of tool. In this paper, the developing software for drill will be presented including calculation and simulation of machining processes using 5-axes CNC grinding machine. The algorithm fer helical flute grinding was applied into calculating NC data. The software will generate NC code for machining by using input data of tool geometry, wheel geometry, wheel setting, machine setting. These NC code files will be used in simulator as input file. The simulator provides some functions for simulating machining processes, inspecting and measuring tool geometry.

Derivation and utilization of probability distribution of credit card usage behavior (신용카드 이용행태의 확률분포 도출과 활용)

  • Purpose: To find out the appropriate probability distribution of credit card usage behavior by considering the relationship among income, expenditure and credit card usage amount. Such relationship is enabled by Korea's especially high penetration of credit card. Method: Goodness-of-fit test and effect size statistic W were used to identify the distribution of income and credit card usage amount. A simulation model is introduced to generate the credit card transactions on individual user level. Result: The three data sets for testing had either passed the chi-square test or showed low W values, meaning they follow the exponential distribution. And the exponential distribution turned out to fit the data sets well. The r values were very high. Conclusion: The credit card usage behavior, denoted as the counts of users by usage amount band, follows the exponential distribution. This distribution is easy to manipulate, has a variety of applications and generates important business implications.

  • The coupled time-integration method with a staggered algorithm based on computational structural dynamics (CSD), finite element method (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been developed in order to demonstrate physical vibration phenomena due to dynamic aeroelastic excitations. Virtual flutter tests for the spanwise curved ing model have been effectively conducted using the present advanced computational method with high speed parallel processing technique. In addition, the present system can simultaneously give a recorded data file to generate virtual animation for the flutter safety test. The results for virtual flutter test are compared with the experimental data of wind tunnel test. It is shown from the results that the effect of spanwise curvature have a tendency to decrease the flutter dynamic pressure for the same flight condition.
