  • It is almost impossible to secure the reproductibility and stability of a commercial Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensor since it is very difficult to keep the consistency of the manufacturing environment. Thus it is widely known that the general Semiconductor-Oxide Gas Sensors are not appropriate for precise measurement systems. In this paper, the output characteristic analyzer of the various Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors that are used to recognize the air quality within an automobile are proposed and examined. The analyzed output characters in a normal air chamber are grouped by sensor ranks and used to fill out the characteristic table of the Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors. The characteristic table is used to determine the rank of the sensor that is equipped in the current air cleaner system of an automobile. The proposed air control system can also adapt the on-demand operation that recognizes the history of the passenger's manual-control.

  • The infiltration of prolonged rainfall causes shallow slope failures on surficial slopes. Experiments performed on soil-water characteristic curves in weathered soils of three different types(SW, SP, SM) were used to construct a general equation for the soil-water characteristic curve. Based on this, the saturated depth by Green & Ampt model was compared with the results of numerical analyses and the range of application of Green & Ampt model was evaluated. It was found that the saturated depth occurred by infiltration on the surface of slopes has an inf1uence on the surficial stability of slopes md, the stability analysis of unsaturated soils calculated by using the soil-water characteristic curve of weathered soils was found to be a proper analysis for shallow slope failures due to rainfall.

  • FIB equipment can perform sputtering and chemical vapor deposition simultaneously. It is very advantageously used to fabricate a micro structure part having 3D shape because the minimum beam size of ${\Phi}10nm$ and smaller is available. Since general FIB uses very short wavelength and extremely high energy, it can directly make a micro structure less than $1{\mu}m$. As a result, FIB has been probability in manufacturing high performance micro devices and high precision micro structures. Until now, FIB has been commonly used as a very powerful tool in the semiconductor industry. It is mainly used for mask repair, device correction, failure analysis, IC error correction, etc. In this paper FIB-Sputtering and FIB-CVD characteristic analysis were carried out according to $Ga^+$ ion beam current that is very important parameter for minimizing the pattern size and maximizing the yield. Also, for FIB-Sputtering burr caused by redeposition of the substrate characteristic analysis was carried out.

The Characteristic Analysis of Leaf Springs with Large Free Camber and without Spring Eye (아이부를 갖지 않고 자유고가 큰 겹판스프링의 특성해석)

  • The leaf spring is used in the suspension of most buses and trucks due to its compactness, which reduces the shock-force and the vibration from the road, and increases passenger comfortability and carlife. Of the various kinds of leaf springs, the leaf spring without eyes can be found easily in the heavy duty truck, and has different characteristics to the leaf spring with eyes in the case of large free camber. Because of radius change, the leaf without eyes slips on the supports, which makes the deflection. The difference is due to this deflection. In this paper, we show the general method of characteristic analysis, for example, Pandan method, can be no more applicable to these springs. Thus considering the geometry deflection by slip, we have developed the equation of the characteristic of the leaf spring without eyes and prove the effectiveness of this equation by experiment. From the result, at large camber the slip deflection is large and as camber smaller, this is smaller. At the camber behind some value, the effect of slip no longer influence to the characteristic of leaf springs.

  • In this study, After considering the general characteristic of Near Fault Ground Motion, the inelastic response spectrum is made to evaluate using the change of ductility and yield stiffness coefficient according to the inelastic behavior of structures which couldn't be examined through the elastic response spectrum. It is conducted to the elastic and inelastic time history analysis about the long period structure which could reflect the characteristic of Near Fault Ground Motion with the best and it is also examined the aspect of response distribution about the input data. Moreover, the response characteristic of structure is analyzed by investigating the plastic hinge for the purpose of grasp about the inelastic behavior of structure.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the world of Galliano works who lead Dior Couture and to make use of this knowledge to comprehension of general trend in Haute Couture and $pr{\hat{e}}t-{\acute{a}}$-porter in the future. The method of research is to search for the characteristic of Haute Couture and the general tendency of Galliano works, and to view the inclination of Dior Couture by Galliano. For sphere of research, 2000s is discussed with focus on Haute Couture, exclusive of ready-to-wear. As a result, Galliano's Couture works were distinguished into four specificities. First, the historicity including historical event, personage and epoch. Second, the orientalism. Third, the pictorial characteristic including synthetic art and public art. Forth, the quality of humor. These subjects bring about a result that break down each boundary, in the method of interpreting, as try out mixing between every elements. Galliano pursue a new domain through the fusion of East and West, past and present, classic and pop, artistry and commercialism, this induce more familiar Haute Couture to the public, breaking the strict form of Couture. It seems that this tendency will be advanced toward extrovert Couture producing the low-age phenomenon in Couture, the mixture of multi-culture and the vitality. This fusion suggest the popularity and the commerciality of Couture, which is predicted decrease the difference between Couture and $pr{\hat{e}}t-{\acute{a}}$-porter.

Rresilience in Children with Chronic Illness and in Their Family (만성질환을 가진 아동과 가족의 극복력)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study were to describe of resilience in children with chronic illness and family resilience, and to identify their correlations. Method: Data was collected from 108 children and their families, being treated by hospitals C and K in Seoul, who are diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome, IgA nephritis, diabetes, asthma at least six months ago. Descriptive, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation were done. Result: The mean score of resilience in children was 101.31 and family resilience was 60.14. The variable which showed a statistically meaningful difference in the resilience in children according to a general characteristic was the gender of a child (t=6.209, p<.05), diagnosis (F= 6.315, p<.01), age of a mother (t=2.237, p<.05), and school grade (F=12.838, P<.01). In terms of the family resilience according to a general characteristic, the variable showing a statistically meaningful difference was the order of sibling (F=13.468, p<.01). There was significant positive resilience in children between family resilience (r=.356, p<.01). Conclusions: In this study we proposed the implement programs for the increase of the resilience in children with chronic illness. In order to give a positive effect on the resilience in children, implement for the increase of the family resilience is also proposed.

A Study on the Correlation between Perception of Family Environment and Mental Health of Boy's High School Students (청소년의 가족환경지각과 정신건강과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between perception of family environment and mental health of boy's high school students. In order to obtain the appropriate data, a questionnaire was administered to 240 boy's high school 2nd-grade students in Pohang city from March 19 to March 28, 1992. The instruments used for this study were Moos's Family Environment Scale Form R and Kim's Symptom Check List-90. The conclusions were as follows : The level of perception of family environment was lower than mean score. Cohesion, achievement orientation, independence, organization, expressiveness were percepted high but active-recreational orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation were percepted low. Mental health of most respondents was well. The scores of obsessive-compulsive reaction and interpersonal sensitivity were high, the scores of somatization and phobia were low. General characteristic variables significantly related to the level of perception about family environment were father's occupation and mother's education level. There were no significant differences between general characteristic variables and mental health. There were mostly negative correlations between perception of family environment and mental health. Cohesion, expressiveness, independence, intellectual-cultural orientation, active-recerational orientation, moral-religious emphasis, organization were negatively correlated but conflict, achivement orientation, control were positively correlated. Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, achivement orientation, active-recretional orientation, organization, control were significantly related, but independence intellectual-cultural orientation, moral-religious emphasis were no significant correlation.
