가스수집시간을 이용한 유중수소가스 측정감도 향상 연구 (Sensitivity Enhancement in Measurement of Hydrogen Gas Dissolved in Oil using Gas Collection Time)

  • This paper describes the sensitivity enhancement in measurement of the hydrogen gas dissolved in oil using gas collection time. On-line gas measurement is a useful for continuous monitoring of power transformer. Recently many studies on hydrogen gas measurement, due to their simplicity and low price, have been done for transformer monitoring. In measurement of the hydrogen gas in oil, the suitable sensitivity and resolution in the desired ranges of the gas concentrations are needed for the reliable monitoring of power transformers. In this study, the sensor output trends were analyzed with the hydrogen gas collection time which means the time to collect the hydrogen gas before reaction of hydrogen gas sensor. It is indicated that the sensor outputs were increased with the increase of hydrogen gas collection times at the same hydrogen gas concentrations.

해저 오일 저류층 내 오일 및 주입가스 조성에 따른 가스리프트 공법의 최적 설계 (An Optimal Design of Gas Lift in Offshore Oil Reservoirs Considering Oil and Injected Gas Composition)

  • 가스리프트(gas lift) 설계 영향인자인 오일 조성과 주입가스 조성에 따라 해저 오일 저류층(offshore oil reservoir) 내 가스리프트 최적 설계를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 오일의 API 비중에 따라 구축된 저류층 모델을 이용하여 생산 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 저류층의 지속적인 생산성 감소 시, 가스리프트 적용에 의한 오일 생산증진효과가 크게 나타남을 확인하였다. 생산정 모델을 이용하여 가스리프트 반응곡선을 분석한 결과, 오일의 API 비중이 감소하고 주입가스의 비중이 증가할수록 생산량 증진에 필요한 주입 가스량이 높게 산출되었다. 다중밸브를 이용하여 가스리프트 최적 설계를 수행하였으며, 단일밸브 설계와 비교했을 때 가스 주입심도 감소로 인해 상대적으로 낮은 주입압력으로도 가스리프트 공법 운영이 가능하였다. 저류층 모델과 생산정 모델을 연계하여 가스리프트 적용에 따른 오일 생산증진을 분석한 결과, API 비중이 낮은 중질유 저류층에 천연가스를 주입했을 때 가스리프트에 의한 생산효율이 극대화될 수 있다.

  • In conventional closed-loop crankcase ventilation systems, the lubrication oil had to be re-circulated to the intake manifold, in the form of oil mist mixed with the blow-by gas. This blow-by gas containing the engine lubricant oil affects on the engine problems and the exhaust emissions. A high-efficient oil separator is required to minimize consumption of engine oil and reduce harmful emissions. In the conventional oil separator of CI engines, it has good oil separation performance even though separator design is simple, due to lots of the blow-by gas. As the emission regulation becomes severe, the oil separator for SI engines is also required. But in SI engines, separator design should be optimized, due to small size of oil particles and little amount of blow-by gas. In this study, oil separation performance classified by diameter of oil mist in cylinder head cover internal model which has three cyclones and two baffle plates for SI engine is calculated with CFD methodology.

페루의 석유가스 자원 개발 동향 및 제도 분석 (Analysis on Oil and Gas Development and Business System, Peru)

  • 페루는 안데스산맥에 위치하는 태평양연안 국가로서 석유 자급이 불가능한 산유국임에도 불구하고 남미의 어느 국가에서도 찾아보기 힘든 좋은 투자 환경을 조성하여 외국 석유회사들의 투자를 유치하고 있다. 특히 외국 석유회사들이 페루 석유산업에 대거 투자할 수 있는 여건을 만들기 위하여 낮은 로열티, 세금 감면, 호의적 광권계약 조건 등과 같은 투자 환경을 만들었다. 유가의 급등으로 인하여 미개발 지역인 아마존 정글 지역의 1-AB광구나, 까미세아 가스전과 같은 성공적인 유전들이 불과 몇 년 사이에 개발, 생산되고 있으며, 우리나라 자원외교 전략과 부합되게 최근 여러 개의 페루 광구들에 대한 탐사, 개발, 생산에 우리나라의 석유회사들이 참여하게 되었다. 이 시기의 다른 남미국가들에 비하여 페루에 우리의 석유산업 투자가 보다 많아질 것으로 기대된다.

비전통 석유가스의 특허 동향분석 (Patents Trend Analysis on Unconventional Oil and Gas Technologies)

  • 전통적인 석유가스의 부존량이 점점 줄어들면서, 기존의 석유 및 가스와 다른 방식으로 생산되는 비전통 석유가스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 하지만 비전통 석유가스는 관련 기술 발전과 생산량이 높게 연관되어 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 비전통 석유가스의 기술 수준을 비전통 석유가스의 특허를 주요 시장국/분야/연도별로 분석하였다. 국가 별 분석결과 미국이 가장 높은 출원을 보이고 있었으며, 분야 별 분석결과에서는 오일샌드와 관련된 출원이 많이 나타나고 있음을 보여주었다. 또한 70년대 초반 활발한 오일샌드 및 오일셰일 관련 특허가 활발하게 출원되다가 80년대 중반 이후 감소 추세를 보였으며, 2000년대 유가의 상승으로 인해 다시 비전통 석유가스 관련 출원 빈도수가 크게 늘어난 것을 볼 수 있었다.

친환경 식물성 절연유의 유중가스 분석 (Dissolved Gas Analysis of Environment-Friendly Vegetable Insulating Oils)

  • The vegetable insulating oils are substitute for the mineral oil in power transformer. Vegetable insulating oils has higher flash/fire point and biodegradability than conventional mineral oils. In this paper, we investigated the dissolved gas analysis of vegetable oils. In the experiment, I had to accelerated aging under the same conditions mineral oil and vegetable oils. Accelerated aging proceeded to about 100% of the life of oil-filled transformer. In addition, we performed gas analysis of insulating oil of accelerated aging progress. The experiment results of the five gases was measured with the exception of Hydrogen and Acetylene. The mineral oil and vegetable oils gas is generated in a similar tendency depending on the accelerated aging. As a result, vegetable oils, can be dissolved gas analysis by method such as mineral oil.

  • A demand for bio-diesel oil increases as one of solution for exhaustion of fossil fuel and reduction of $CO_2$ emission, and research on bio-diesel is being carried out. Bio-diesel oil is mainly esterified from vegetable oil with methanol in order to use for fuel on diesel engine and has demerit that costs are increased as compared with directly using like non-esterified one. Bio-diesel oil within 3% mixed with gas oil is used at present, proportion of bio-diesel oil will be increase by 5% in future. We judged that wasted soybean oil non-esterified could be used on diesel engine with an electronic fuel injection according to previous researches with a mechanical fuel injection. A performance test using only gas oil, gas oil with esterified bio-diesel oil 5% and wasted soybean oil non-esterified 5% on diesel engine with the electronic fuel injection were carried out. It is noticed that gas oil with wasted soybean oil non-esterified 5% has more similar characteristics to gas oil than gas oil with esterified bio-diesel oil 5%.

  • This paper describes the measurement technology of the dissolved hydrogen gas due to partial discharge in oil using gas sensor. For higher resolution and less error in measurement of the dissolved hydrogen gas in oil, the sensor outputs with ambient temperature which affect the sensor output characteristics should be considered. The sensor output trends with ambient temperature and the properties of the dissolved hydrogen gas in oil with partial discharge characteristic were analyzed through the test results. It was indicated that the sensor peak and the base voltage with measuring time were affected by ambient temperature and the measurement errors of the sensor output by temperature were reduced by using the difference between the peak and the base voltage rather than just the peak voltage. In addition, the hydrogen gas sensor outputs were increased with the increase of partial discharge energy.

The Impact of COVID-19 on Stock Price: An Application of Event Study Method in Vietnam

  • Vietnam's Oil and gas industry make a significant contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of Vietnam. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit every industry hard, but perhaps the one industry which has taken the biggest hit is the global oil and gas industry. The purpose of this article is to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry. The event study method applied to Oil and Gas industry index data around three event days includes: (i) The date Vietnam recognized the first patient to be COVID-19 positive was January 23, 2020; (ii) The second outbreak of COVID-19 infection in the community began on March 6, 2020; (iii) The date (30/3/2020) when Vietnam announced the COVID-19 epidemic in the whole territory. This study found that the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry responded positively after the event (iii) which is manifested by the cumulative abnormal return of CAR (0; 3] = 3.8% and statistically significant at 5 %. In the study, event (ii) has the most negative and strong impact on Oil and Gas stock prices. Events (i) favor negative effects, events (iii) favor positive effects, but abnormal return change sign quickly from positive to negative after the event date and statistically significant shows the change on investors' psychology.

디젤기관의 대체연료로서 미장유의 특성 연구(II) (A Study on Characteristics of Rice Bran Oil as an Alternative Fuel in Diesel Engine(II))

  • In this study, it was tried to analyze not only total hydrocarbon but individual hydrocarbon components from C$_1$to C$\sub$6/ in exhaust gas using gas chromatography to seek the reason fur remarkable differences of smoke emission of diesel fuel, esterfied rice bran oil and blended fuel(esterfied rice bran oil 20vo1-% + diesel fuel 80vo1-%). Individual hydrocarbons(C$_1$ ∼C$\sub$6/) as well as total hydrocarbon of esterfied rice bran oil is reduced remarkably compared with diesel fuel. Although smoke emission of esterfied rice bran oil reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel, NOx emission of esterfied rice bran oil and blended fuel was increased slightly at high loads and speeds. And, it was tried to reduced NOx emission of them by exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) method. Simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx emission was achieved with the combination of esterfied rice bran oil and EGR method in consequence.
