본 논문은 대전력시험설비를 이용한 특고압 가스 절연 부하 개폐기의 대전력 시험회로의 구성과 통합형 시험 방법에 관하여 연구하였다. 대전력시험설비는 전기기기의 전기적 및 기계적인 성능을 검증하는 설비로서 단락발전기, 보호차단기, 투입스위치, 임피던스, 고압변압기, 저압변압기, 측정 및 보호시스템 등으로 구성되며, 이 시스템을 이용하여 단시간전류시험, 전류개폐용량시험, 단락투입 및 차단시험 등을 실시한다. 특고압 가스 절연 부하 개폐기의 규격으로는 국내 배전계통에 적용되는 ES(한국전력공사 표준규격) 5925-0002가 있으며, 국제 규격으로는 IEC 60265-1, 62271-1 및 IEEE C 37.74 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 여러 규격에 각각 규정되어 있는 시험 절차, 시험회로 구성 및 시험 방법 등을 통합하여 600[MVA]급 대전력 시험설비에 적용하였다.

SF_6 gas has been increasingly used as the insulating and arc-suppressing medium in switchgears which are used as the protection devices of power system. Nowadays, with these trends, SF_6 load break switches have rapidly substituted for the air or oil-type load break switches, in order to get higher reliability. And, the national standard was made for reliability assessment of SF_6 gas load break switch and testing facilities was also set in KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute ). This paper introduces the synopsis for the reliability assessment requirements specified in the standard and the assessment results.

This paper attempts to discuss the pseudo-spark which is developed for high voltage and high current. The pseudo-spark switch is on the basic of the Paschen's law. The pseudo-spark switch fabricates the glass chamber. The pseudo-spark switch consists of hollow cathode, hollow anode, and trigger. The pseudo-spark switch is operated at the voltage of 20 kV and the pressure range of $20{\sim}80$ mtorr with He-gas. The switching current of the pseudo-spark switch was measured as 65 kA, and the duration of the pulse was about 100 ${\mu}s$. This paper describes the results of tests and the characteristics of the switch.

The manufactured pulsed power system with 500kA current is described in this paper. The capacitor bank, control cabinent, dec charging unit, closing switch and dumping box, cable system etc. employed with the system components are described. Especially the development of the inverse pinch switch controlled by gas puffing enabled the generation of the very high voltage and current.

ln this paper, it was reported the developed results of the monitoring unit for 72.5kY GIS which it is one part of the monitoring system for the substation that Korea Railway Company is promoting. In order to monitor the operational status of GIS, four parameters were chosen: the number of times of the circuit breaker switching, tightness of the gas-sealed units (circuit breaker / disconnecting switch / earthing switch), the number of times of the lightning arrestor operating and the leakage current of the lighting arrester. We constructed the monitoring system that can be judged the operating condition of the GIS from the signal of the suitable sensor for the purpose. Therefore, it is possible to on line monitoring for the condition of the GlS without efforts of the Periodic inspection.

본 논문에서는 IT 기술기반의 통신 및 컴퓨터를 이용하여 약 $20{\sim}30[km]$ 떨어진 곳에 설치된 자동화 개폐기, 리클로져를 원격으로 제어, 감시, 계측하고 있는 DAS와 고압수용가의 원격검침, 요금 등의 업무를 수행하는 AMR과의 인터페이스를 구현하여 배전선로의 전체 고장 중 16[%]를 차지하는 고압수용가 구내 전기설비 고장에 의한 배전선로 파급고장에 대해 신속하고 정확하게 찾을 수 있는 방법을 제시하기 위해 DAS와 AMR의 인터페이스를 구현하는 것이다.

KODAS is made up of the Central Control System(CCS) as four Vax workstations linked up with LAN networks, six Substation Communication Control Units(SCCU) installed in substation to transfer data, 125 Feeder Remote Units(FRU) located at the lower position of automated switch to provide the information of Fault Indicator(FI) and three kinds of automated switches to have remote control functions such as SF6 gas feeder automation switch, recloser and gas insulated pad mountes switchgear for under ground line. This paper explains the functions and characteristics in detail about each devices mentioned above.

At present, the cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) using mercury lamp has been generally used far liquid crystal backlight source of personal computer and car navigation and so on. This kind of lamp is more excellent on luminance performance and cost. However, the requirements of liquid crystal backlight due to a light source without mercury have been strongly increased from a viewpoint of the actual influence on environmental preservation and environmental recycling. As fluorescent lamp without mercury, Dielectric Barrier Discharge based rare gas fluorescent lamp (DBD-FL) using xenon (Xe) gas has been studied so far. This DBD lamp has no influence on the human body and environmental recycle. Its operating life is long because electrode is out. In this paper, the simulation and experimental results of soft switching high frequency inverter with reverse blocking single switch as a high frequency power supply circuit for DBD-FL using Xe gas are comparatively evaluated and discussed from a practical point of view.
