지열-태양열원 복합시스템의 부하추종특성에 관한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Load Delivery Characteristics of Hybrid Energy System with Geothermal and Solar Heat Sources)

  • The objective of the present study is to investigate the load delivery characteristics of a hybrid-renewable energy system with geothermal and solar heat sources for hot water, heating and cooling of a residential house in Korea. The hybrid energy system consists of ground source heat pump of 2 RT for cooling with a 150 m vertical U-bend ground heat exchanger, solar collectors of 4.8 m2 and gas fired backup boiler. The averaged coefficient of performance of geothermal module during cooling and heating seasons are evaluated as about 4.5 and 3.8, respectively.

상변화를 수반하는 이상류(二相流)가 흐르는 원관 주위에서의 난류 열전달 (Turbulent Convective Heat Transfer over a Circular Tube Carrying Gas-Liquid Two Phase Flow with Phase Change)

  • Turbulent convective heat transfer phenomenon which occur around the evaporator section of heat pump were analyzed experimentally. For this purpose a special wind tunnel and a heat pump system were designed and fabricated. Evaporator section was installed perpendicular to air flow direction and part of the evaporator was made of a glass tube for visual observation. The velocity distribution, turbulent intensity and temperature distribution were measured by hot wire technique and thermocouples. An experimental correlation for the convective heat transfer coefficient was obtained and the result is somewhat higher than the value calculated from Hilpert equation. The difference in two equations is believed to be due to the boning effect inside the evaporator tube.

  • The present study has been conducted to simulate dynamics of a gas engine-driven heat pump(GHP) for design of control algorithm. The dynamic modeling of a GHP was based on conservation laws of mass and energy. For automatic control of refrigerant pressures, actuators such as engine speed, outdoor fan, coolant three-way valves and liquid injection valve were PI or P controlled. The simulation results showed physical behavior that is realistic enough to apply for control algorithm design.

  • In this study, medium capacity EHP and GHP for air-conditioning a building with a floor area of $1,200\;m^2$ are compared economically. To consider all the factors of initial and operation costs effectively, an annual equal payment method is proposed. For the initial cost, equipment, construction, installation, electric facility, financial subsidy and tax cut are considered. Basic electricity, energy(electricity and gas), space charge, labor, insurance and repair are considered for the operation cost. Under the assumptions made in this study, overall cost of EHP is less than that of GHP. However, different outcome may result if different assumptions are made. This study is useful for performing an economic evaluation of various air-conditioning systems.

대학건물에서 에너지비용 변화에 따른 히트펌프 냉난방시스템에 대한 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis of Heating and Cooling System Corresponding to the Energy Cost of University Building)

  • This research is to analyze LCC of Heat Pump system in university building by reduction of electric power costs for education and incentive system for gas. Produced details item different expense of EHP and GHP equipment construction step and preservation administration step. Analysis result is as following. 1) Executed LCC analysis for target system after lowering whole curriculum reduction of electric power costs for education. Analysis result, energy cost-cutting effect of EHP appears greatly than GHP unlike existent study finding, EHP decided by economical system. 2) Sensitivity analysis executed by incentive 500,000 won per units and geometrical ration of gas expense by 1%. As a result, because lowering effect of electric charges appears greatly, EHP decided by more economical system than GHP. As research result of front is different from existent study finding, EHP by lowering of electric charges for alteration and education of governmental frequent volunteer system was decided by more economical system than GHP.

  • 본 논문은 GHP 에 사용되고 있는 이중 쉘-튜브형 배기가스 열교환기의 설계 변수의 변화에 따라 열전달 및 마찰특성 변화를 알아보기 위해 CFD 와 RSM 을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하였다. CFD 해석은 복잡한 형상의 열교환기 해석에 유용한 도구이나, 해석결과를 얻기까지 많은 시간이 소요된다. 이러한 해석시간을 줄이고, 유용한 결과를 얻기 위해 RSM 과 병행하여 최적화 설계를 진행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 이용한 RSM 해석결과, 배플 6 개, 튜브 25 개에서 최적화되었으며, 기존 보다 차압 및 열전달 성능이 약 12.2% 개선되었다. 이러한 CFD 와 RSM 을 이용한 최적화 기법은 다양하고 복잡한 형상의 열교환기 해석에 유용함을 확인하였다.

천연가스 열량 변화에 따른 GHP 엔진의 성능 및 배출가스 특성 (Performance and Emission Characteristics of GHP Engine at Different Natural Gas Heating Value)

  • 가스엔진구동 히트펌프(GHP : Gas Engine Driven Heat Pump)의 연료인 천연가스의 열량이 감소함에 따라 국내에서 생산되는 GHP에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 저열량가스($9,800kcal/Nm^3$)를 연료로 사용하여 엔진 단체 실험 및 GHP 현장평가를 실시한 결과 약간의 출력감소가 확인되었으나 시동성, 운전안정성, 배출가스 특성 등은 거의 변화가 없음을 확인하였다. 따라서 천연가스 열량이 $9,800kcal/Nm^3$까지 감소하여도 별도의 조정없이 GHP가 정상운전될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 기후변화에 따른 지구 생태계의 변화와 에너지 및 자원고갈 등 전 지구적 대응노력이 절실한 상황에서 정부에서는 탈원전 정책 등 적극적인 정책을 수립하여 시행하고 있다. 특히 공공건물 중 적지 않은 비중을 차지하고 있는 학교시설은 학생수가 감소하는 반면 학교수가 증가하고 있으며 에너지사용량 또한 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학교시설의 설계현황을 분석하여 에너지절약설계의 개선방향을 제시하고자 하였다.

소형위성 발사체용 추진제 가압 열교환기 설계 해석 (Heat Exchanger Design Analysis for Propellant Pressurizing System of Satellite Launch Vehicles)

  • A heated and expanded helium is used to pressurize liquid propellants in propellant tanks of propulsion system of liquid propellant launch vehicles. To produce a heated and expanded helium, an hot-gas heat exchanger is used by utilizing heat source from an exhausted gas, which was generated in a gas generator to operate turbine of turbo-pump and dumped out through an exhaust duct of engine. Both experimental and numerical approaches of hot-gas heat exchanger design were conducted in the present study. Experimentally, siliconites - electrical resistance types - were used to simulate the full heat condition instead of an exhausted gas. Cryogenic heat exchangers, which were immersed in a liquid nitrogen pool, were used to feed cryogenic gaseous helium in a hot-gas heat exchanger. Numerical simulation was made using commercially utilized solver - Fluent V.6.0 - to validate experimental results. Helically coiled stainless steel pipe and stainless steel exhausted duct were consisted of tetrahedron unstructured mesh. Helium was a working fluid Inside helical heat coil and regarded as an ideal gas. Realizable k-』 turbulent modeling was adopted to take turbulent mixing effects in consideration. Comparisons between experimental results and numerical solutions are Presented. It is observed that a resulted hot-gas heat exchanger design is reliable based on the comparison of both results.
