정보격차 해소 차원에서의 전자정부 서비스 이용촉진 연구 : 장노년층 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Promoting Senior Citizens' Use of e-Government Services as an Effective Means for Reducing Digital Divide)

  • E-government refers to the delivery of government information and services online through the Internet or other digital means. Unlike traditional structures, e-government systems are two-way, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The interactive aspects of e-government allow both citizens and bureaucrats to send and receive information. Criticism about the provision of e-Government services, however, has proposed a more user-oriented approach. The user needs to be placed at the center of the development and the provision of e-Government services. Furthermore, e-government literatures seldom explore acceptance issues among the aged. Attempting to address this gap, we take the approach based on a combination of Technology Acceptance Model and Theory of Planned Behavior, with data gathered via a questionnaire from service users over 50 years and older. The findings indicate that perceived usefulness, ease of use, subjective norms, trust, visibility, facilitating conditions and political efficacy are direct or indirect predictors of citizens‘ intention to use an e-government service. Implications of this study for research and practice are presented.

Chinese Consumers' Intention to Use Re-Commerce Platforms - Perspective Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) -

  • Contemporary consumers' acceptance of second-hand products has been increasingly improving worldwide, especially in China. Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, we developed and empirically validated a research framework to predict consumers' motivation to use re-commerce platforms. We explored the diverse factors influencing mobile commerce usage through re-commerce platforms. Furthermore, this study investigated the role of gender differences as a factor moderating the association between several constructs and the intention to use re-commerce platforms. A total of 226 consumer responses were collected. The results indicated that hedonic motivation, performance expectancy, consumer habits, social influence, and price value affect consumers' attitudes toward re-commerce platforms. The effects of the attitude toward re-commerce platforms on the intention to use these platforms were also statistically significant. When effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, male consumers' attitude toward its usage, in particular, also increases. Meanwhile, when performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, the attitude toward its usage increases among female consumers. Moreover, our results indicate that the two gender groups present different characteristics regarding re-commerce platform usage. Therefore, this study offers a theoretical basis for future analyses of second-hand trade.

증권업의 온라인과 오프라인간 가격수용범위 (latitude of price acceptance) 차이에 관한 연구 (The Difference in the Latitude of Price Acceptance between On- and Off-line transaction in Stock Industry)

  • 온라인 주식거래 고객은 증권사사이트 간 거래의 차별성이 적고, 전환비용(switching cost)이 낮기 때문에 거래증권사를 바꾸기 쉽다는 특징이 있다. 반면, 오프라인 주식거래 고객은 온라인 거래에 비해 영업직원의 밀착 서비스를 받기 때문에 수수료가 더 많고, 거래를 위한 시간적 비용도 더 지불해야 하기 때문에 비교적 전환비용이 높으며 이에 따른 상표 충성도도 온라인에 비해 높다. 이러한 전환비용과 충성도는 주식거래 수수료를 변경할 경우, 그 회사와 거래를 지속할 것인지 혹은 다른 회사로 이탈할 것인지에 대한 의사결정에 영향을 주게 된다. 그러면, 증권사의 수수료 수준에 따라 고객이 유지 혹은 이탈의도를 나타내는 가격탄력도는 얼마일까? 그리고, 이러한 가격탄력도가 온라인과 오프라인에서는 어떻게 달라질까? 이를 알아보기 위해 결합분석에 의한 개별 가격반응함수를 도출하고 각 가격대별 선택확률간의 차이 발생여부에 따라 현재가격에서 가격을 을리거나 내려도 증권거래량이 변화하지 않은 가격수용범위(latitude of price acceptance)를 측정하여 온라인과 오프라인에서의 차이를 비교하였다. 그 결과, 현재가격을 준거가격(reference price)으로 한 경우, 사이트의 수수료를 인상하여도 주식거래량에 유의한 차이가 나지 않는 가격수용범위가 오프라인이 온라인보다 더 넓은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 증권 사이트 간 차이가 적고, 사이트 간 전환비용이 낮은 주식온라인거래의 특성이 반영된 것으로 판단된다. 이 연구의 의의로는 학술적 측면에서 제품에 적용하고 있는 가격수용범위의 측정방법을 증권업에 상표별로 확대 제시하였다는데 공헌점이 있으며, 더나가 온라인과 오프라인이라는 매체 육성에 따라 가격수용범위의 길이가 차이가 있음을 실증분석하는 결과를 제시하였다. 실무측면에서는 마케터 자신의 증권사이트에 해당하는 상표별 가격수용범위를 확인하고 이 범위 안에서 가격인상만으로도 이익을 향유할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였다.

Accuracy evaluation of metal copings fabricated by computer-aided milling and direct metal laser sintering systems

  • PURPOSE. To assess the marginal and internal gaps of the copings fabricated by computer-aided milling and direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) systems in comparison to casting method. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Ten metal copings were fabricated by casting, computer-aided milling, and DMLS. Seven mesiodistal and labiolingual positions were then measured, and each of these were divided into the categories; marginal gap (MG), cervical gap (CG), axial wall at internal gap (AG), and incisal edge at internal gap (IG). Evaluation was performed by a silicone replica technique. A digital microscope was used for measurement of silicone layer. Statistical analyses included one-way and repeated measure ANOVA to test the difference between the fabrication methods and categories of measured points (${\alpha}$=.05), respectively. RESULTS. The mean gap differed significantly with fabrication methods (P<.001). Casting produced the narrowest gap in each of the four measured positions, whereas CG, AG, and IG proved narrower in computer-aided milling than in DMLS. Thus, with the exception of MG, all positions exhibited a significant difference between computer-aided milling and DMLS (P<.05). CONCLUSION. Although the gap was found to vary with fabrication methods, the marginal and internal gaps of the copings fabricated by computer-aided milling and DMLS fell within the range of clinical acceptance (< $120{\mu}m$). However, the statistically significant difference to conventional casting indicates that the gaps in computer-aided milling and DMLS fabricated restorations still need to be further reduced.

얼음디스펜서와 홈바가 있는 빌트인 양문형 냉장고의 구조해석 및 도어 단차와 개스킷 간극의 평가 (Structural Analysis of Built-in Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Ice Dispenser and Home Bar and Evaluation of Door Differences and Gasket Gap)

  • 냉동실 도어에 얼음디스펜서와 냉장실 도어에 홈바가 장착된 빌트인 양문형 냉장고 모델에 대하여 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 사용하여 캐비닛과 도어를 통합한 유한요소모델을 구성하고 변형해석을 수행하였다. 하중으로는 냉장고가 조립된 조건, 그리고 캐비닛 선반과 도어 배스킷에 적재되는 식품 부하물 하중과 냉장고 정상 작동 시의 온도분포에 의한 열하중조건을 고려하였다. 캐비닛과 도어의 변형량 해석결과에 기반하여 냉동실 도어와 냉장실 도어 사이의 상하단차와 앞뒤단차를 평가하고, 냉기 밀봉에 영향을 미치는 캐비닛 전면과 도어 내면 사이에 위치한 도어 개스킷의 간극의 증가량을 평가하였다. 부하물이 없고 냉장고가 작동하지 않는 조건의 해석결과 계산된 상하단차와 앞뒤단차는 제품 출하 시의 허용기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 부하물이 투입되고 냉장고가 정상 작동하는 열하중조건의 해석결과 계산된 상하단차와 앞뒤단차는 조립조건에 비해 증가하며 특히 앞뒤단차가 크게 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 열하중조건의 해석결과 계산된 캐비닛 전면과 도어 내면의 변위로부터 도어의 사각 테두리에 부착되는 개스킷 간극의 증가량을 평가하였다. 최대 간극 증가량은 냉동실 도어의 좌측 테두리에서 발생하며 제조업체에서 정한 허용기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다.

중국 결혼이민 여성의 전통복식 문화적응태도 및 착용실태 (Culture Adaptive Attitudes and Donning Practices of Traditional Dress among Chinese Marriage Immigrant Women)

  • This study explored culture adaptive attitudes and donning practices of traditional dress among Chinese marriage immigrant women. Quantitative research was conducted on Korea-Chinese multicultural families. Participants were 291 married women in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The data was analyzed using frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test and correlation analysis. The findings are as follows: First, positive relationship was found between Hanbok acceptance attitudes and Qipao transmission attitudes. The level of Qipao transmission attitudes was higher than Hanbok acceptance attitudes especially in the part of knowledge. Han Chinese showed stronger Qipao transmission attitudes than Korean Chinese. Immigrants without Korean nationality had stronger Qipao transmission attitudes. Higher education group and higher income group showed higher level both on Hanbok acceptance attitudes and Qipao transmission attitudes. Second, more than 50% of Chinese marriage immigrant women wore Hanbok once or twice per a year. On the other hand, only 24% of them wore Qipao. This result shows that there exists a gap in the Qipao transmission attitudes and donning practices. 44% of women wore both Hanbok and Qipao in their own wedding ceremony, 32% wore only Hanbok, and 19% wore only Qipao. 64% of women had an experience of wearing Hanbok on special days such as traditional holidays or family affairs, whereas only 29% had worn Qipao.

개인의 정보기술 수용격차 요인에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Factors of Assimilation Gap in Information Technology at the Individual Level)

  • This study aims to explore factors of Assimilation Gap(AG) which is proposed and illustrated by Fichman and Kemerer(1997). AG is defined as the time delay between adoption and deployment and mainly studied at the organizational level. This study derives the factor affecting AG through a review of technology acceptance models and agency theory. The research model consists of three groups of independent variables(IT knowledge burden, Individual characteristics, and organization characteristics) and a moderator, which is goal incongruence. Using multiple regression analyses, four groups of hypotheses are tested with data of 221 knowledge workers from various organizations through e-mail survey. The result shows that radicalness(a dimension of knowledge burden), personal innovativeness, self-efficacy, and organizational support are statistically significant factors while complexity, experience, and perceived critical mass are not supported. The moderator effects of goal incongruence are found in personal innovativeness and organizational support. The results of this study demonstrate that agency theory is a useful perspective to deal with AG, especially in radical innovation. In addition, IT practitioners should consider not only user training but also incentives and possible organizational controls in implementing a new information technology.

Verification of Mechanical Leaf Gap Error and VMAT Dose Distribution on Varian VitalBeamTM Linear Accelerator

  • The proper position of a multi-leaf collimator (MLC) is essential for the quality of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc radiotherapy (VMAT) dose delivery. Task Group (TG) 142 provides a quality assurance (QA) procedure for MLC position. Our study investigated the QA validation of the mechanical leaf gap measurement and the maintenance procedure. Two $VitalBeam^{TM}$ systems were evaluated to validate the acceptance of an MLC position. The dosimetric leaf gaps (DLGs) were measured for 6 MV, 6 MVFFF, 10 MV, and 15 MV photon beams. A solid water phantom was irradiated using $10{\times}10cm^2$ field size at source-to-surface distance (SSD) of 90 cm and depth of 10 cm. The portal dose image prediction (PDIP) calculation was implemented on a treatment planning system (TPS) called $Eclipse^{TM}$. A total of 20 VMAT plans were used to confirm the accuracy of dose distribution measured by an electronic portal imaging device (EPID) and those predicted by VMAT plans. The measured leaf gaps were 0.30 mm and 0.35 mm for VitalBeam 1 and 2, respectively. The DLG values decreased by an average of 6.9% and 5.9% after mechanical MLC adjustment. Although the passing rates increased slightly, by 1.5% (relative) and 1.2% (absolute) in arc 1, the average passing rates were still within the good dose delivery level (>95%). Our study shows the existence of a mechanical leaf gap error caused by a degenerated MLC motor. This can be recovered by reinitialization of MLC position on the machine control panel. Consequently, the QA procedure should be performed regularly to protect the MLC system.

신호교차로에서 U-Turn허용구간의 위치 및 적정길이 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on U-Turn Location and Length Estimation at Signalized Intersection)

  • U-Turn은 운전자에게 편의를 제공하며 차량의 소통효율을 향상시키는 측면도 있지만 U-Turn에 대한 설치기준 및 법제규정과 안전시설 설치기준들이 명확치 않아 교통소통과 교통안전에 문제를 야기시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 첫째, 교통량과 주행속도를 주요 변수로 하여 차량의 정지시거와 좌회전차량들의 대기행렬길이를 고려한 U-Turn 허용구간과 전방교차로와의 적정 이격거리를 산정한다. 둘째, 현장조사를 통해 실제 U-Turn 차량의 행태를 분석하여 상충형태를 분류하고 상충과 U-Turn 허용구간의 길이와의 관계분석을 통해 차로변경각도와 주행속도를 변수로 하여 U-Turn 허용구간의 길이를 산정한다. 마지막으로 U-Turn허용구간과 후방교차로의 거리는 교통량과 주행속도, 차로변경각도를 주요변수로 하여 간격수락이론을 통해 적정이격거리를 산정한다. 그리고 몇 가지 교통조건들의 환경을 설정하여 모의실험을 실시한다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 소통과 안전을 고려한 U-Turn허용구간의 적정길이 및 위치를 제시한다.

An Integrated Model of CSR Perception and TAM on Intention to Adopt Mobile Banking

  • The purpose of this paper is to (1) evaluate a proposed conceptual model based on integrated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); (2) compare the differences between Vietnam and South Korea regarding the effects of consumer perception of CSR activities and technology acceptance on intention to adopt mobile banking. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was conducted to analyze the data collected from the field survey questionnaires administered to a convenience sample of Vietnamese and Korean banking customers. The results showed that there is a difference between South Korea and Vietnam with regard to intention to use mobile banking services. While the effects of social responsibility and environmental responsibility on trust, trust on perceived usefulness, perceived risk on intention to use, perceived usefulness on intention to use were significant in the context of Vietnam but those effects were not significant in South Korea. Therefore, this study has attempted to fill this gap by empirically examining some of the important factors influencing the adoption of m-banking from the Vietnamese and Korean customers' perspectives. Finally, practical and theoretical implications for both banks and researchers in the m- banking context are also discussed in the concluding section.
