  • In this paper, we intend to relive game addiction by educating game programming for students that suffer from game addiction. We had analyzed popular games at the present day and extracted factors related to information education from game programming tool. In addition, we had designed the practical lesson plan based on the instructional design model. We had applied the game programming project to students for a year and the results were as follows. First, we verified the drop of addiction propensity by performing the examination of game addiction scale with before and after T-test. Second, according to the results of analysis based on grounded theory, it saved game time and relieved game addiction. In conclusion, this study shows that the game programming project relieved game addiction.

  • MMO RPG Online game as a new means of human computer interaction has been made rapid progress. Even though many kinds of online game have published, few games are being well received by its user. So we have a problem to be solved what is the fundamentals to attract game users. I will apply a game theory of the Roger Caillois who lived as an typical french thinker. Although Roger Caillois had never experienced a computer game since he died at 1978, his game theory was acknowledged that a game can be classified into four sections to grab the human's interest related with culture. Four sections of game were consisted of Ilinx, Mimicry, Alea, and Agon. The competition with people in game is essential to "Agon" that which stands on the basis of a pride when one is definitely superior to the others. In same way, "Alea" is that which stands on the basis of fortune, Mimicry is that which stands on the basis of simulation, Ilinx is that which stands on the basis of dizzy. In conclusion, I will explain that a game theory of the Roger Caillois is useful tool for deveoper to understand game fundamentals.d game fundamentals.

  • Mighty is an imperfect information game, similar to the internationally popular four-player card game Bridge, but more complex in terms of game rules and operation. An environment for exploring and analyzing the strategy of the Mighty Game is required, but compared to the development of many simulators for strategy analysis of other card games such as Bridge, there is no analysis tool for the Mighty Game. Even the definition and understanding of the Mighty game at the academic level is lacking. To solve these problems, this paper systematically defined the procedures and rules of the Mighty Game. And based on this definition, we implemented a simulator that can learn Mighty game and analyze various strategies. For the usability and accessibility of the service, the simulator was developed with JavaScript, and various analysis functions are provided in the web environment. Lastly, comparative analysis with other trick-taking games dealt with in the related research domain showed that the Mighty game has its value as an incomplete information game and that there are many characteristics that make it easy to apply AI-based learning methods.

  • Seunglamdonoli was a traditional board game played during the Chosun Dynasty. In this article, I interpret its features as a board game and discuss the possibility of turning it into a mass market game like Milton Bradley's 'The Game of Life' in the U.S. Seunglamdonoli uses the dice to determine movements around a board shaped like Korea, teaching players about important geographic locations, and traditional characters in a game that relies on strategy as well as luck. With appropriate changes such as introducing a standardized game board or digitalization for use on computers, Seunglamdonoli has potential to again become a popular pastime as well as become tool for learning about Korean history, geography, and society. Furthermore it can be adapted as an educational game for any location with minimal changes.

  • To strengthen the competitiveness of the game industry, one needs to develope a tool for evaluation of the satisfaction level of the game users, which leads to the improvement of the quality of games and increment of the amount of game trade. In this study, we developed factors to measure the satisfaction level and estimate their distributional properties. For the purpose, using a survey data for RPG games, we discussed several aspects for normalization of score distribution for satisfaction factors and estimated their density function by use of parametric density estimation of SAS/INSIGHT. We believe that the proposed results help us to predict or estimate the satisfaction level of newly developed games as well as the current popular games.

  • Currently, many PC games are developed using game engines. Although these game engines provide many functions, there are also downsides such as limitations of the engine itself and development costs. This is essentially why DirectX, which has relatively few limitations and requires minimal expenses, is still considered a very useful game development tool. This thesis lays out the design plan for a war action genre game called Aeon of Strife using low quality game development tools.

  • The study classifies online game users with two groups, which are users who purchase functional items and emotional items. This research used statistic tool, STATA MP, trying unpaired t-test to find relationships between two groups on payment intention and characteristics. The result shows that the users with functional items prefer community-oriented mind and interaction with other users while users with emotional items intend to consider item's design and superiority with higher purchasing satisfaction. The result of this study seems to give some implications to game companies when improving its purchasing system with charged items.

  • The purpose of this study is to help preschool children in the interface design of educational game APP at the psychological level. The conceptual model is constructed through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explore the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use when children are playing educational game APP. The empirical study was conducted in the form of questionnaires collected after children used game. The research subjects were 3-6 years old children, and the research tool was the game app. Data collection under the guidance of their parents. The research shows that children educational game experience elements can effectively increase preschool children's psychological perception of educational games. Perceived ease of use also increases trust in educational games for children. The results were as follows: 1. Cronbach's Alpha and KMO were 0.969 and 0.955, and the P value was significant, which passed the reliability and validity test. 2. Through confirmatory factor analysis (Model fit index, Composite reliability, discriminant validity), we found that user experience is closely related to perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. 3. The path analysis of the relationship proves that perceived ease of use play a key role in trusting preschool children educational game APP.
