In this work, dynamic stability analysis of the ball after contacting with the earth in the volleyball game is presented. Via spherical shell coordinate, the governing equations and general boundary conditions of the ball after contacting with the earth in the volleyball game is studied. Via Comsol multi-physics simulation, some results are presented and a verification between the outcomes is studied. Harmonic differential quadrature method (HDQM) is utilized to solve the dynamic equations with the aid of boundary nodes of the current spherical shell structure. Finally, the results demonstrated that thickness, mass of the ball and internal pressure of the ball alters the frequency response of the structure. One important results of this study is influence of the internal pressure. Higher internal pressure causes lower frequency and hence reduces the stability of the ball.

In this paper, we propose methods to acquire enemy object information, which is frequently required in multi-resolution model based war game and affects the simulation performance. In the information request method, a multi-resolution model selects information of a specific resolution and provides them to external objects. In the information announcement method, a multi-resolution model announces all information, and external objects select information of a specific resolution. In the information sharing method, external objects obtains information of a specific resolution by inquiring all information of a multi-resolution model which are stored in a shared space. Simulation results show that the information sharing method is more efficient than the information request method and the information announcement method because the information acquisition is fast. In addition, the proposed methods will increase the efficiency of war game operation by shortening the time for acquiring enemy forces' information.
Recently, it is increasing a users requiring actually and a variety of service due to a growth of wet based technique and network technique. In services, the interest in web and mobile contents domain is increasing rapidly. The most contents supported point or a E-Money as result of contents's usage. But, the point system be in name only due to a lack of a contents using a point or a related service. As a solution for this problem, this paper designed a supported system that integrated a point system supporting others contents and can associated to a game using that point. we made a simple game and supporting contents in web for simulating the designed system. Also, we realized the mobile system for communicating a data causing in web.
Mandatory shutdown policy of the juvenile protection act was enforced in December 2011 to prevent game addiction of the youth. However, the size of game market in Korea seems to be reduced significantly after implementation of the shutdown policy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of current government regulations on Korean online game market. Based on empirical evidences and results from the related literature, we developed several causal loop diagrams(CLD) and system dynamics models. The CLD include sub-diagrams of innovation processes, user commitments, and operational costs. We conducted simulation analyses under various policy scenarios, adopting Normalized Unit Modelling By Elementary Relationship(NUMBER). Our results show that first, the impact of time regulation on the number of users is greater than the impact of content regulation. Second, the quality of domestic online game appears more elastic to regulations than the quality of foreign online game. The results of this study suggest that the deregulation in Korean online game market can narrow the gap in market outcomes between domestic and foreign online games. Some recommendations for future study are suggested.
In this paper, we propose a modeling and simulation of group behavioral movement of pedestrians using Agent based and Cellular Automata model in intelligent game environment. The social behaviors of the crowds are complex and important, and based on this, the prototype game-model was implemented to show the crowd interaction on AB and CA in the game environment. Our experiment revealed the promise of group behaviour as a cost-efficient, yet accurate platform for researching crowd behaviour in risk situations with real models.
Go is an extremely complex strategy board game despite its simple rules. By using MCTS, the computer Go programs with handicap game have been defeated human Go professionals. MCTS is based on the winning rate estimated by MC simulation rather than strategy concept. Meanwhile Genetic algorithm equipped with an adequate fitness function can find out the best solutions in the game. The game of Tic-Tac-Toe, also known as Naughts and Crosses, is one of the most popular games. We tried to find out the best strategy in the game of Tic-Tac-Toe. The experimental result showed that Genetic algorithm enables to find efficient strategies and can be applied to other board games such as Go and chess.

Recently, grafting of a story into a game has attracted ever increasing attention. In this study, the 12 phases of Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell highlighted in movies and myths was analysed from a point of Christoper Vogler to be correlated with a game. Since a story-teller Is a player in a game, the story experienced by the player enjoying the game was examined and correlated with the 12 phases of Campbell. As the game, a construction/management simulation game, RCT3 produced by Atari was studied. The 12 phases of Campbell was applicable to game story.
The collision processing is one of the essential factors to realize physical principles in the game, and it gives liveliness to the game. The collision processing requires a large amount of operations, and significantly affects the game performance. To address this problem, many studies have been conducted to reduce the operation volume, and the SAP algorithm is being widely used. However, its efficiency is low because it involves repetitive operations. In this study, a distance-based SAP algorithm was proposed to reduce the operation volume for the collision processing and address the problem of the SAP algorithm. A test was conducted to measure the FPS using the simulation program, which was developed with the proposed algorithm. The FPS was 2-33 times higher with the proposed algorithm, which indicated that the efficiency of the collision processing was improved.
This paper proposes the mathematical model of Fresnel effect used to illuminate and simulate a surface character model for defense game play. The term illumination is used to represent the process by which the amount of light reaching a surface character model used on game play is determined. The character surface shaders generally use a mathematical model to predict how light will reflect on triangles. The shading normally represents the methods used to determine the color and intensity of light reflected toward the viewer for each pixel representing the character surface model of the game. This model computes the reflection and transmission coefficients and compares simulated results to the Fresnel equations for the real game improvement.
