  • This system using optical fiber provides various information about underground tunnel and power transmission lines-atmospheric temperature, humidity, oil pressure, flammable gas, cable behavior, and so on. To transmit various data and to keep reliability, optical MUXs are adopted. User can easily operate monitoring software by using GUI.

  • In this paper, laser vision sensor is used to detect some defects any $co_{2}$ welded specimen in hardware. But, as the best expression of defects of welded specimen, the concept of segment splitting method and mean distance are introduced in software. The developed GUI software is used for deriding whether any welded specimen makes as proper shape or detects in real time. The criteria are based upon ISO 5817 as limits of imperfections in metallic fusion welds.

  • In recent years, the development and the embodiment of information analysis system has been sprightly carried out in several fields of study. In this study, as and extension of these studies, we develop a system for multivariate analysis which might be widely used in social and natural sciences. This multivariate analysis system is developed by using multivariate analysis procedures in SAS/STAT software. Also, the system supply users with he environment of GUI(Graphical User Interface), which is constructed with AF(application frame) and SCL(screen control language) of SAS software, in order to help users to use the system with easy.

  • 임베디드 시스템을 위한 그래픽 윈도우 시스템은 특정 기능을 가진 시스템의 사용자에게 편리한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스 환경을 제공하여 준다. 이러한 시스템에서 그래픽처리 성능을 본질적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 그래픽 하드웨어가 제공하는 선, Bitblt, 패턴 채우기 등의 2D 그래픽 가속 기능을 이용한 그래픽 가속 모듈의 구현이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템을 위한 오픈 윈도우 환경인 Tiny X 에서 그래픽 가속 모듈을 구현하는 방법을 상세히 제시한다. 뿐만 아니라, 제시한 방법대로 구현된 그래픽 가속 모듈의 성능 평가를 통하여 그 효율성을 검증하였다.

  • The research for development of remote monitoring and control systems composed three stages of research categories. At the first stage, we decided the suitable instrumentation devices for interface between H/W systems and waste water treatment facility. And at the second stage, we developed the software package for remote monitoring and data transmission system including data receipt system via wired telephone line. At the final stage we developed local control system for auto-process control of waste water treatment facilities.   • We propose the monitoring system scheme for the CPS/INS integrated navigation system. The design requirements of the monitoring system are suggested and the software scheme based on GUI is proposed. The proposed monitoring system consists of an I/O interface part, a navigation data display part, and a post-processing part. The I/O interface part is responsible for data communication between the monitoring system and a navigation computer unit. The navigation data display part provides various display methods to show the navigation data to user in real-time. The post-processing part collects the navigation data to analyze the performance of navigation system. The proposed monitoring system software was developed using the Visual C++ programming language and a van test was carried out to demonstrate the real-time operation of the monitoring system. The test result shows that the proposed monitoring system can be effectively applied to the CPS/INS integrated navigation system.

  • In this paper, we made software components reusable through syntax-analysis method, designed a Viewer for understanding component information, and retrieved similar components by using Enhanced SARM. Because SARM requires a lot of computation time, it was enhanced by reducing unnecessary activation value. Also GUI was designed for component-query relationship and Viewer represents hierarchy diagram of a retrieved component. This system supports facilities which can insert and delete components on diagram. For a component modification, this system supports a editor to rebuild class inheritance relationship. In this paper, SCRS (software components reuse system) is consisted of syntax-analysis method, component-query relationship interface, retrieval (Enhanced SARM), diagram viewer, reuse on diagram, and a editor.

  • Recently, the decrease in thin film thickness has been actively studied by changing several physical elements such as the increase in revolution velocity of lower substrate equipped with AC or DC motor. In this paper, we propose a novel spin coater control system that changes AC or DC motor and common use software with limitation of velocity and position control into step motor and LABVIEW software based on GUI to control revolution velocity and position more precisely. By determining six input values of rotation velocity 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 PPS, we fabricated six samples using coating target, TA(tantalum) on silicon substrate and measured their thin film thickness by SEM. Hence, this research can be applied to inferring thin film thickness of tantalum regarding any value of revolution velocity without additional experiments and for linear reference model via property analysis of thin film thickness using other thin-film materials.

  • There are various typing practice applications. In addition, research cases on learning applications that support typing practice have been reported. These services are usually provided in a way that utilizes their own built-in text. Learners collect various contents through web services and use them a lot for learning. Therefore, this paper proposes a learning application to increase the learning effect by collecting vast amounts of web content and applying it to typing practice. The proposed application is implemented using Tkinter, a GUI module of Python. BeautifulSoup module of Python is used to extract information from the web. In order to process the extracted data, the NLTK module, which is an English data preprocessor, and the KoNLPy module, which is a Korean language processing module, are used. The operation of the proposed function is verified in the implementation and experimental results.
