A new parallel gripper mechanism is proposed in this work. This device has a parallelogrammic platform which can be flexibly folded. Therefore, this mechanism not only can be used to grasp an object having irregular shape or large volume, but also can be used as a micro-positioning device after grasping. Based on the position and kinematic analysis for this mechanism, this mechanism has been developed and the motion performance has been tested to corroborate the effectiveness of this mechanism.

This paper presents a three-fingered robot hand, called the KIST hand, Which have one active joint and one passive joint. The thumb is fixed on the palm, and the index and the middle take lateral motions symmetrically. A mechanical clutch and an embedded force sensor, attached on the distal link of the fingers, enable the KIST hand to perform human-like functions. A result of experiment shows reliable grasping performance of the hand which maintain stable grasp under disturbances.

Accordingly, occupational injuries or accidents can be caused in various situations, not just in the limited range of workplaces but also in the surroundings, and interest has increased in the prevention of occupational accidents with respect to occupational health and safety, and environment. In this paper, we are able to grasp the real meaning of the present appearance of safety management, we propose the safety function depolyment adding laws and regulation.

The contra-sexual phenomenon that is recently focused is one of the new factors, which is focused when explaining the life style of progressive woman's image and it is creating cultural category. Moreover, the contra sexual people that are rising as new consuming subjects are not simple primary consumers but their shopping culture and cultural tastes are giving effects to many people. Because of the tendency, marketer of consuming industry are making efforts to predict the changes of contra-sexual people's shopping habits and tastes. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp contra-sexual phenomenon and research the fashion design aiming at that in order to predict woman's fashion image in the future. Therefore, the study considered concept and characteristic of contra-sexual phenomenon and surveyed its example in the popular culture. And, the study analyzed the formative characteristic of contra-sexual fashion shown in the public cultures such as drama and movie. On the basis of the result, design was suggested by reflecting contra-sexual fashion characteristic under the concept of 'Urban Splendor'. From the results above, it was possible to grasp the concept and characteristic of contra-sexual phenomenon, which appeared as a trend and understand new woman's image and the fashion that has changed because of it. It is considered that the establishment of the foundation of contra-sexual phenomenon, which plays as an important variable in woman's fashion, fashion accessory, cosmetic and advertisement field but it is hard to clarify, by analyzing the work aiming at contra-sexual phenomenon will be helpful for predicting the change of woman's fashion in the future.

This paper carried out co-word analysis of noun and noun phrase using text-mining technique in order to grasp the research trends on domestic and international information science articles. It was conducted based on collected titles and articles of the papers published in the Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management (KOSIM) and Journal of American Society for Information Science and Technology (JASIST) from 1990 to 2013. By dividing whole period into five publication window, this paper was organized into the following processes: 1) analysis of high frequency co-word pair to examine the overall trends of both information science articles 2) analysis of each word appearing with high frequency keyword to grasp the detailed subject 3) focused network analysis of trend after 2010 when distinctively new keyword appeared. The result of the analysis shows that KOSIM has considerable portion of studies conducted regarding topics such as library, information service, information user and information organization. Whereas, JASIST has focused on studies regarding information retrieval, information user, web information, and bibliometrics.

The development of computer technology and the advancement of the technology of information and communications spread the technology of multimedia and increased the use of multimedia data with large capacity, Users can grasp the overall video data and they are able to play wanted video back. To grasp the overall video data it is necessary to offer the list of summarized video data information, In order to search video efficiently on index process of video data is essential and it is also indispensable skill, Therefore, this thesis suggested the effective method about the cut detection of frames which will become a basis of an index based on contents of video image data. This suggested method was detected as the unchanging pixel color intelligence value, classified into diagonal direction. Pixel value of color detected in each frame of video data is stored as A(i, j) matrix-i is the number of frames. j is an image height of frame. By using the stored pixel value as the method of sum of squared difference of color two frames I calculated a specified value difference between frames and detected cut quickly and exactly in case it is bigger than threshold value set in advance, To carry out on experiment on the cut detection of frames comprehensively, I experimented on many kinds of video. analyzing and comparing efficiency of the cut detection system.

In a Video-on-Demand system, admission control that is used to serve multimedia data efficiently has to be perfonned by an accurate grasp of the condition of surplus resources. Most of all. we need to adaptable admission control mechanism because the disk has irregular response time caused by external elements of disk, and also has high deviation of amount demanded. In previous admission control schemes, they determined whether a new user is granted or not through a theoretical value. Although they based on the measurement, they left much to be desired in dealing with the service state. Measurement ~based statistical admission control scheme, as we su~~ested in this research, perfonns 2 processes of off-line process and on-line process in real service environment. Through this processes, we can grasp the accurate resource state of system and adaptive!y detennine the admission according to circumstances. Therefore, it can guarantee both maximum resource utilization and QoS(Quality of Service). On performance evaluations, we show that the video server can utilize maximum resource utilization with QoS guarantee through precision of perfonnance by measurement and adaptable admission control according to the requested bandwidth.

The purpose of this study is to extract the characteristic cost through the time series analysis of each cost from 2003 to 2014, and to grasp the performance and relevance of the enterprise. Therefore, in this section, we analyzed the time-series analysis of selling, administrative, and non-operating expenses as described above. First, depreciation cost, advertising cost, transportation cost, research cost, current research cost, and ordinary development cost were extracted as the variables of interest to be verified in the empirical analysis. However, in the analysis of non-operating expenses, we could not extract the specific cost, but we could grasp the time-series flow of cost data before and after two epochs such as financial crisis and introduction of IFRS obligation. The results of this study show that sales management costs have a positive (+) effect on firm value. Empirical analysis confirms that management is trying to increase or decrease the cost This can be confirmed by the empirical results of this paper. At present, general enterprise accounting is done through ERP system. However, since the ERP system does not have an analysis system for each sales and management cost, the current system has difficulty in knowing the budget item for each cost each time the expenditure resolution for each cost item is made, It is a reality that the expenditure plan must be managed separately and it is inconvenient to keep it. However, if this practical difficulty is solved by the cost analysis system such as sales management cost, the present accounting information system will be further developed. Furthermore, the management will increase the profit item It is thought that coordination actions can also be prevented in advance.

Because it is difficult on existing document retrieval systems to visualize the search result, search results show document titles and short summaries of the parts that include the search keywords. If the result list is long, it is difficult to examine all the documents at once and to find a relation among them. This study uses clustering to classify similar documents into groups to make it easy to grasp the relations among the searched documents. Also, this study proposes a two-level visualization algorithm such that, first, the center of clusters is projected to low-dimensional space by using multi-dimensional scaling to help searchers grasp the relation among clusters at a glance, and second, individual documents are drawn in low-dimensional space based on the center of clusters using the orbital model as a basis to easily confirm similarities among individual documents. This study is tested on the benchmark data and the real data, and it shows that it is possible to visualize search results in real time.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of physical fitness improvement program on work intensity of persons with Down syndrome. For this, 8 adults with Down syndrome participated in program and were evaluated. The physical fitness improvement program consisted of grasp, lifting, carrying exercise for 12 weeks, 1 day a week for 2 hours per session. Compared with pre-program conditions, participants in program improved significantly in right grasp power, lifting ability but there was not significant improvement in carrying ability. In view of work intensity, work intensity level of two subjects was changed from average to hard in lifting. One subject was changed from very light to average and two subjects was changed from light to average in carrying. This results suggested that physical fitness improvement program was helpful for promotion the intensity of adults with Down syndrome.
