In order to make the dynamic analysis and design of improved composite beam with corrugated steel web (CBGSCC) bridge more efficient and economical, the parametric self-cyclic analysis model (SCAM) was written in Python on Anaconda platform. The SCAM can call ABAQUS finite element software to realize automatic modeling and dynamic analysis. For the CBGSCC bridge, parameters were set according to the general value range of CBGSCC bridge parameters in actual engineering, the SCAM was used to calculate the large sample model generated by parameter coupling, the optimal value range of each parameter was determined, and the sensitivity of the parameters was analyzed. The number of diaphragms effects weakly on the dynamic characteristics. The deck thickness has the greatest influence on frequency, which decreases as the deck thickness increases, and the deck thickness should be 20-25 cm. The vibration frequency increases with the increase of the bottom plate thickness, the web thickness, and the web height, the bottom plate thickness should be 17-23mm, the web thickness should be 13-17 mm, and the web height should be 1.65-1.7 5 m. Web inclination and Skew Angle should not exceed 30°, and the number of diaphragms should be 3-5 pieces. This method can be used as a new method for structural dynamic analysis, and the importance degree and optimal value range of each parameter of CBGSCC bridge can be used as a reference in the design process.

Estimating moving vehicle loads is important in modeling design loads for bridge design and construction. The paper proposes a moving force identification algorithm using moment influence lines measured at multi-axes. Density estimation function was applied to estimate more than two wheel loads when estimated load values fluctuated severely. The algorithm has been examined through simulation studies on a simple-span plate-girder bridge. Influences of measurement noise and error in velocity on the identification results were investigated in the simulation study. Also, laboratory experiments were carried out to examine the algorithm. The load identification capability was dependent on the type and speed of moving loads, but the developed algorithm could identify loads within 10% error in maximum.

Multi-stepwise Thermal Prestressing Method(TPSM) is a newly proposed prestressing method, which is combined the external prestressing method and the external bonding method. Multi-stepwise thermal prestressing force is induced by cooling process of cover-plate in the multi-stepwise temperature distribution after the cover-plate being bolted to the girder. In this study, the heating capacity test of the developed heating system for applying the multi-stepwise TPSM effectively and multi-stepwise TPSM inducing test of H-beam is performed. Also, a field test of the rhamen type temporary bridge is carried out to evaluate the effect and application of the multi-stepwise TPSM. Truck load was loaded and compared with the structure analysis results.

In this study, a bridge maintenance system is developed to generate performance-based optimum maintenance strategy by considering the life-cycle cost. A multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem is formulated to generate a tradeoff maintenance scenarios which satisfies the balance among the conflicting objectives such as the performance and cost during the bridge lifetime and a genetic algorithm is applied to the system. By using the developed program, this study proposes a process of optimum maintenance scenario applying to the steel girder bridge of national road. The developed system improves the current methods of establishing the bridge maintenance strategy and can be utilized as an efficient tool to provide the optimum bridge maintenance scenario corresponding to the various constraints and requirements of bridge agency.

The deteriorated PSC Beam bridge is necessary improved reinforcement method. In the study, it is proposed the box reinforcing method which could make the stiffness of the PSC Beam bridges increase more stably through the secondary composition effect of open type PSC Beam bridge's girder which is converted into the consolidation box type and the half panel is formed between the lower flange of the PSC Beam about the deteriorated PSC Beam bridge suffering the capacity decline. In case the proposed reinforcement method combine with the existed external prestressed method, the close analysis depending on the time is conducted by the construction stage because of searching the effect of reinforcement quantitatively. The reinforcement method of the box type which is proposed an efficiency improvement in objective in application case, by a reinforcement method after proposing the whole and bend sectional reinforcement method, against a each reinforcement method evaluated the upward camber which it follows in secondary composite effect and a member stress characteristics. Also, the structural safety of PSC Beam bridge is evaluated quantitatively by examining of rating factor through load carrying capacity evaluation.

The span deflection among the monitoring items of bridge measurement system in real time is representative behaviour and important index of superstructure condition. the limit of span deflection in Standard Specifications for Highway Bridge in Korea has been applied to the method that is making the management-criteria for span deflection in bridge measurement system. But the limit concern mainly serviceability of divers. So it is difficult to find the safety factor of the limit from the viewpoint of bridge safety. This study estimated the safety factor of the limit of span-deflection in Standard Specifications for Highway Bridge in Korea from the viewpoint of bridge safety by the indoor structural test.

An algorithm is proposed for estimating dynamic displacements of a bridge by using FBG sensors and by superposing some measurable low modes. Modal displacements are obtained from the beam theory and the generalized coordinates are deduced from the strains measured by FBG sensors. By considering flexural and torsional modes occurred in bridges only as flexural modes of a simply supported beam by separating a bridge into multiple girders or parts, the proposed algorithm can be applied to various types of bridges. Guidelines are provided theoretically for determining the number of modes and the number of strain gages to be used. The proposed algorithm has been examined through simulation studies on various types of bridges, laboratory experiments on a model bridge, and field tests on a simple span PC Box girder bridge. Through the simulation study, the effects of the error in the vibration modes and measurement noise on estimating the dynamic displacements are analyzed.
This study was to understand the basic principles of the East Asian wooden structure system research and analysis. The Korea and China ancient architecture internal structure research that the combination of girders and crossbeams position. The ancient wooden structures of eastern Asian countries, Korea and China are not much different from each other in the principles of the wooden architecture structure, combining pillars, purlins and crossbeams. However, it seems that age-division, local-division, national-division differs in detail techniques. China ancient wooden structures combination of purlin and crossbeam, and So-seul Timber(Chinese name: Chashou叉手, Tuojiao 托脚) seems to show differences according to the age of the fulcrum position, detailed approach is also different according to various historical dynasty. Before in the 15th century, Purlin and Crossbeam are coupled to each other, but since the 15th century, seems to have developed a technique combined with each other Girder and Crossbeam and to prevent buckling of the Crossbeam cross-sectional area increased dramatically. For Tuojiao in China Tang-Wudai dynasty(A.D. 618~979), can see that saw the top position Girder and Tuojiao no direct coupling, can be seen as maintaining the safety of the material than the material of the inner wooden structures prevent buckling of the purlin. Korea ancient wooden structures of Goryeo dynasty(A.D. 918~1391), So-seul Timber(Chinese name Tuojiao) why do not to use the fashion? To use Purlin Lower backing material techniques to prevent buckling is a popular trend to stable can be thought of as a preferred way to maintain. I think that with universality beyond the local-division, national-division and the two countries since the 15th century of Korea and China ancient wooden structures detailed mechanism for the purlin buckling. In middle-late Chosen dynasty, The effect of Deotgeolyi- techniques and fleeting beams reduce the purlin buckling that reduces the load transmitted from purlin and crossbeam of how to reduce the load on the roof portion of the architecture fleeting beams used, which of craftsmanship of the Chosen Dynasty building can be referred to as another technique for preventing buckling purlin. This Korea and China ancient architecture purlin beam structure and material So-seul Timber study. Seems to be able to provide a basic research study to restore and designed the old wooden architectures.

A study for the nonlinear solution strategies to predict the ultimate behavior of a curved PSC cable-stayed bridge with complex geometry and highly nonlinear characteristics is presented. The load and displacement control strategies are used and found to be stable for the nonlinear solution of the PSC bridge up to the moderately excessive load. The ultimate analysis of curved PSC cable-stayed bridge using these solution strategies is not converged due to the propagation of the cracks in the wide range of the concrete elements and excessive variation of the stresses in the concrete elements and cables according to the complex geometry. The load control strategy using scale-down of the unbalanced loads is proposed as an alternative method for the case that the solution is not converged due to the severe nonlinearities involved in the PSC structures like a curved PSC cable-stayed bridge. Through the ultimate analysis of the PSC girder, the accuracy and the stability of the proposed solution strategies are evaluated. Finally, the numerical results for the ultimate analysis of the curved PSC cable-stayed bridge using scale-down of the unbalanced loads are compared with those obtained from other investigator. The validity of the proposed nonlinear solution strategy is demonstrated fairly well.

Recently, many ocean bridges that connect land to island or island to island have been constructed along with the improvement of the nation's economy. Long-span bridges can be categorized as suspension bridge, cable-stayed bridge, arch bridge and truss bridge. In this study, correction with respect to construction error can be presented on site through the monitoring of the cable tension change of real structure for four major construction stages so that construction accuracy, including the management of profiles, can be improved. A vibration method, the so-called indirect method that uses the cable's natural frequency changes from the acceleration sensor installed on the cable, is applied in measuring cable tension. In this study, the estimation formula for the effective length of cable with damper is presented by comparing and analyzing between actual measurement and analysis result for the change of the cable's effective length. By the way, it is known that the reliability of estimating cable tension by applying the former method that uses the net distance from damper to anchorage is low. Therefore, for future reference of the maintenance stage, the presented formula for estimating the effective length of cable can be used as a reference for the rational decision-making, such as the re-tensioning and replacement of cable.
